Raiden engine can be traded out for Speedroids at the expense of a less powerful Reasoning / Monster Gate, Into the Void can be added instead of Tierra engine for stronger turn 1.

Onuncu and Devy at 2 because those are the ones you want to summon after a Goyo Defender interaction into << Leviair + Goyo Defender >> before summoning Decatron.

Void Imagination cause the majority of decks aside from Kozmo now use Extra Deck extensively.

Solemn Scolding to further enhance turn 1 boards.

Soul Charge and Rekindling let you reborn TER or Decatron.

Ngl, I think this archetype is and always will be bad.

How do you summon Defender? There are no level 2s, and if you're relying on 3-card Goyo Defender, I dunno.

I'm also surprised by no Void Seers. Those are usually important.

Oh, also Twin Twister could go in side. That's usually important.

Right so, decatron is a tuner that sends an infernoid from deck to graveyard and gains it's level.

Decatron sends the level 1 and becomes level 2, and then you sync with a level 1 to make goyo defender.

There you go, it's a bit inconsistent but i guess it could be worth it.

The opening is actually a lot more consistent than you think. Opening Decatron and Pirmais is common, and there are outside factors such as Instant Fusion and the usual Reasoning and Monster Gate.

Oh, right. I forgot about that.

It does sound pretty inconsistent, since you'd end up getting to Level/Rank 6 and summoning may get hard with Leviair and whatnot (that is, if you can even bring back the banished infernoids anyway)

It's at least filler for a Deck that should have an Extra Deck anyway.

on mobile, so no time to go on a thorough refutation, but Defender and its interactions are comparable to Reasoning and Monster Gate. After summoning Defender into Leviair, you now have a level of 6 letting you summon Onuncu or Devyaty. From there, you can Leviair back a Decatron and make it level 5 by sending Patrulea, which you Synchro with Defender for Crystal Wing. It's a strong opening further improved by possibly a Scolding or Soul Charge.

This is why we side Raigeki/Dark Hole/Slumber

Onuncu can negate all of it anyway and banish them.

Honestly, why can't you just appreciate and look at the best techs and innovations for the deck and put down some bias? Have you ever played or tested the build? I can't imagine you'd be refuting this whole idea of Infernoids being able to pop the best T1 it can muster; Dracopals are much stronger than this and still can be annihilated instant board-wipe. While it is true this archetype is fairly weak now due to the Reasoning hit and it still has issues depending on a luck factor, I wouldn't just come in here and criticize an innovation negatively.

Oh, Onuncu negates?

That makes it significantly better.

I don't put a lot of stock in the combo, but it does work when it works. You can't really argue with results. Still not a fan of Rekindling, and Where Arf Thou? never seemed to show up when I needed it, and always when I didn't.

Void Vanishment is alright, but since you only have the two targets, good as they are, I'd probably side it alongside Void Seers for Monarchs or maybe Majespecters. Lots of S/T destruction is a mandatory side for Infernoids, but other than that, I can't say anything definitive on sides.

I'd recommend Book of Moon in here somewhere. I use Book of Moon in every deck, but here especially, doesn't it just make sense?

As for the Extra, 2 Tierra and Omega both seem kind of unnecessary. Omega recycles itself, and a single Tierra summon should pretty much score the win. I think you might consider Ancient Sacred Wyvern. You don't have a lot of Level 3s, but it's a perk of using Raiden, and can crush your opponent before they even realize it.

In the same vein definitely include Hi-Speedroid Chanbarider. This deck can make it so easily, and it puts up so much damage.

Trishula is another option that needs no introduction.

The 3 slots for the Tierra engine, like I said, are expendable, and you can easily swap it out for Into the Void if you're planning to go first the majority of your games. Consequently, the 2 Tierra would be taken out and replaced with Chanbrider and Minerva.

Book of Moon sucks. It's an inherent -1 that does nothing to advance your gamestate the way the Goyo Defender combo does, and at best all it does is turn off Onuncu or Devyaty. It also has little use in the Kozmo and the Monarch matchups, making it a completely mediocre non-engine card that is better replaced by something else.

The second Tierra is there because, last I recall, you can actually send a second Tierra from the Extra Deck to resolve Imagination.

Ancient Sacred Wyvern sucks, it'll never come up in most situations.

Trish will never be made.

Rekindling helps make strong unbreakable boards, and Where Arf Thou? is extra copies of Decatron alongside Pirmais or Instant Fusion which increases the consistency of the combo.
