Sluggaholic
PequilineLevel 6 - LIGHT - Beast-type MonsterThis card cannot be Summoned, except by its own effect. If you would Summon this card, roll a die. If you roll an even number, Special Summon this card from your hand. If you roll an odd number, Tribute Summon this card. When this card is Tribute Summoned, send the top 5 cards of your deck to the Graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned by its own effect: banish all Spell/Trap cards your opponent controls. This card can attack your opponent directly, but if it does, it uses its DEF during damage calculation.ATK 2450/DEF 1000 - - - - - Peculiar + Equine = Pequiline. I'm really stretching it with these names, huh? :( Eh, whatever. A name's a name. Plus, this equine is peculiar, so it fits. CnC papi's

The Nyx Avatar
The premise of deciding the form of Summoning is intriguing. Even if this requires you to already have a monster face-up on the field. However, it ultimately has little to no pay-off. Even in Decks that focus on the Graveyard, it would be sluggish. Sluggaholic
Duly noted. Any ideas on how to make it better, Nyx? Also, bump.
The Nyx Avatar
Well, instead of having a mill effect (or you could keep it if you want), you could have both forms of Summon come with different outcomes; one could punish ypur opponent, while the other promotes you. Sluggaholic
I took your effect and added a secondary effect should the card be Special Summoned by its own effect. Also bump.
The Nyx Avatar
Alright. Now this looks stronger, if a bit too potent. But I'd say it balances out, as it's mostly due to chance.
