Yuya-Kun
In the old Yu-Gi-Oh T.V show, they had a format called DeckMasters, where you chose a card from your deck and used it as a "Deckmaster" During the Duel, you could summon out that monster, ignoring it's summoning conditions. If you think this is a quick way to beat opponents. its not really, if that deckmaster is destroyed, you lose the duel, and your not allowed to use Extra Deck monsters, so it's not to OP. If anyone wants to try the format then play like this.Step 1: Choose Any Monster from deck.Step 2: Place Monster beside your Extra Deck Face-Up.Step 3: Play as usual, if you want to bring out your deck Master, then Move it to the field, in your preferred position. Note: If its destroyed you lose.

Blake
Was to be implemented for Halloween, for the monsters... But lack of DN makes it difficult.
Trebuchet MS
Mm, what happens if you choose a monster that should be counterbalanced by a tight Summon condition? Do you have to fulfill the costs/conditions to get it out?
Snatch Steal
At first glance, this seems ridiculously broken, but there's a hitch: Solemn Warning on the summon ends the duel. You can also just use small Kaiju monsters to make that their new Deckmaster, then run over them. It would need a reform to work, to say the least. Βyakuya
That was back in the day...now we have powercreeped bosses and lots of ways to negate and counter summons. There have to be a lot of things to be checked here if you would want to consider this "format".
IQuitDolphin
Just so you know, the implementation is that it is PLACED on the field, not summoned, hence Horakthy does not work.
Master Hyperion
If I recall correctly, if a deckmaster has an effect, you're allowed to use its effect, even if its not on the field. In that case:http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Destiny_HERO_-_Plasmaorhttp://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Horus_the_Black_Flame_Dragon_LV8 gg no re

Chaosix
after some thinking, i got the idea to not let any old cards be deck masters, but instead use special cards designed for it,using red borders, and being immune to banish, return to hand and destruction effects. for example; Mahad, The dark magician(red bordered)(no level)DARKSpellcaster2000 ATK/2100 DEFOnce per turn, You may discard 1 spellcaster-type monster to add 1 spell card from your deck to your hand. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. This card gains 500 atk for every spellcaster you control. Mana, magican in training (red bordered)(no level)DarkSpellcaster1700 ATK/1700 DEFOnce per turn, You may discard 1 spellcaster-type monster to add 1 trap card from your deck to your hand. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. This card gains 300 atk for every spellcaster-type monster in either players graveyard. (might make more cards)
