Courageous Frontier - My 2nd Set

29 July 2012 - 11:38 PM

Hi everyone,
ShenmaKid here. I made the "Endless Nightmares" set back in January, then took a really long break from card making. But now I'm back with a whole new set! Hope you like it!

Set Name:
Courageous Frontier

Theme:
This set revolves around the card "Courageous Novice." Think of him as your starting character in a RPG game. He can level-up into different classes, turning him into different "Courageous" monsters.
The other "Courageous" monsters have two common traits:
First, you can special summon them by tributing a level 4-8 "Courageous Novice."
Second, you need to say the word "Courage!" to unlock their effects. However, you can only say "Courage!" with a card effect!
So far, there are only 3 cards that let you say the word "Courage!" The first being "Courageous Novice" himself.

PS: To anyone who finds this concept a little odd, it is the same as "Declare a card name" or "Declare a level". The card effect requires you to physically speak.

Main Monster Cards:

Single Card - Lost Pinnacle of Summoning

29 January 2012 - 10:40 PM

A useful card to stop OTKs and turn the tables on your opponent.

Activate only when you control no monsters. Pay half your Life Points to declare 1 Monster Card name. Pick up cards from the top of your Deck until you pick up the declared card; Special Summon it, ignoring the Summoning conditions. It cannot attack, and is unaffected by card effects this turn. The Special Summoning of the monster cannot be negated. The rest of the cards picked up are banished. You can only activate 1 "Lost Pinnacle of Summoning" per turn. This card's activation and effect cannot be negated. When this card resolves, banish it.

Endless Nightmares - My first set

27 January 2012 - 09:16 PM

Hi everyone,
This is my first thread on Yugioh Card Maker, and this is my first set of cards.

Set name:
Endless Nightmares

Theme:
The strategy revolves around giving the "Endless Nightmare" monsters to your opponent, making them pay the price of any action they do. However, if your opponent somehow removes these nightmares, they can in turn give them back to you.
"Endless Nightmare" monsters cannot be removed from the field except by battle, which means they cannot be destroyed by card effects, tributed for a tribute summon, used in a synchro summon, or be used as XYZ materials (Since XYZ materials do not count as on the field).
You can only get rid of these nightmares by battle.

Main monster cards:

And this guy:

Tips:
Use cards that can shift control of your monsters to your opponent, such as "Mystic Box" and "Creature Swap."
Use "Spirit Barrier" to reduce all battle damage you take to 0, then give your opponent your nightmares.
After you give "Necria, The Eternal Nightmare" to your opponent, use cards that protect your nightmares from battle, such as "Waboku."
