About Me
Hello Hello! Thank you for reading my page! My name is Silicrus Avanar, some of you might know/remember me as Black Fang/Scar or Poison Love~ and to some closer few, as Volt or Zack..but let's not go there! Please call me Silly if you'd like, or any of the names you have formerly called me by. All are acceptable. *She bows gracefully* I am an ancient dragon deity *She scratches her head* Okay okay... not a deity just an ancient dragonkin. I have been bound by summoner's contract to my master, The Dragon Sage. His name? ...Ufufufu.. I will not share! Well anyway...if your here you might be curious about me, or just passing the time by viewing this profile. Also yes, this is my humanoid form I've taken with some help from the master. The air against my skin feels much better then against my scales...mm? I'm getting off topic? Oh Sorry! Well then, why not take a look at the info I've placed in some spoilers below~ Fourth Wall? What's that? Shoo Shoo! Your disturbing my daily tasks for the master! *She pops small dragonic wings from her body and flies away*
So you've come into this spoiler room eh? Well then there's plenty more to know about me if you are so interested Ahem! *She clears her throat*
I currently work at a local grocery store, whose name I won't reveal (and as my Master's Familiar) and currently not taking education. My interests sprawl from gaming to subtle things such as horticulture, please look it up if your not aware of what it means. I'm into RPGs mostly, and a few MMOs as well. I'm a player of both Yugioh and Magic the Gathering, though the ladder I am not that good at. Both my DN and Cockatrice are under CommanderVolt, but if you wish to contact me to play, please do so either here or at my Skype "CommanderVolt." Provided you let me know who you are first of course. Also, I am in a relationship. . .well..I was in a relationship. It ended just recently. Sigh.
Now then..*She takes a deep breath* Since this is a forum about yugioh with some other card games thrown in, I won't say too much about the other games I am interested in. I will say the following though. Castlevania Series, Pokemon Series, (Yes, I've pre-ordered Y and cannot wait) Assassin's Creed series, are the most notable games I play. Plenty of popular Nintendo Games i'm into as well. As for the MMOs, I play Phantasy Star Online 2, Vindictus, Mabinogi and Scarlet Blade.
Music is a big part of my life, much like it is with the Master. I listen to English Vocals, Japaneese Vocals and VGM. The ladder being my most common. My favorite English Vocaled Song is Mermaid by Train. Japaneese is Shangri-La, sung by Asami Imai, for Corpse Party (Not the Idol Master version). There are to many songs from games to name as my favorite. . . Well then..onto Yugioh. Look for that in another spoiler, I will leave this the way it is for critiquing later. This will be where the most basic info is stored after all ~ *She pops small dragonic wings from her body and flies away*
So Yes..As I stated before, I play Yu-gi-oh and I hold it in high regards as one of my favorite games. Although I'm not a meta-gamer, I've enjoyed playing this game since Starter Deck Yugi. (The first deck my father got for me) My favorite archetypes would be Sacreds, but I play a variety of decks in general. Gem-Knights, Gravekeepers, Reptilianne, Worms, Noble Knights, Photons, Urknight Rush, Ninjas...the list goes on. In real life I play Sanctuary Agents and Reptilianne, with a bit of Six Spams.
I am a Number Hunter. I currently own all NA released Numbers with the exception of Gold Rat, Freezerdon and Black Corn. I won't be ordering again until LoTGY Hits... Well..I'll add in more over time. Do come back another time... *She turns away and begins writing on a small note pad*
This section is dedicated to my master, the Dragon Sage. The powerful Magi whose traversed in the magics of the ancient dragons and the abilities to invoke their power to come to his aid. Master has two forms..well I'm not sure that's the way to put it but. . . look below and see for your self!

Master's most well known and casual form! Also referred to as the Dragon Sage of Secrets, Master would spend his time studying the hidden truths of our worlds. He harbors many secrets, and just as many strengths. His power will summon dragon allies to fight by his side. Because his magic is all invested in the summoning and study of them, he doesn't possess much powerto fight by him self. . . but with the Dragon Arts he's capable of fending off many attacks.
Thanks to his years of studying, Master summons Dragons from outside of our own world to fight by his side. Doing so, he brings out incredibly powerful dragons other mages would struggle just to do so. He then shares some of his power with that dragon, allowing them to meet even their full potential outside of their own realm. Dragons like the Sun Dragon Overlord, Neo Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon and even the Numbered Dragons will appear willing to fight for his cause. With their frightening powers, Master crushes mages who oppose him without so much of a sweat. He's amazing! ...but it gets even better!

When Master invokes the powers of another world he transcends his potent capabilities into an even deadlier form! While he is known as the Sage of Secrets, truth bares even greater power then lies; and so If words pierce deeper then any knives, the truth he reveals will leave devastation in it's wake! Rather than summoning dragonic allies to his side, he transfers their essence into him self, claiming their powers temporarily as his own. In this state he needn't be afraid of his offensive abilities he's gained those of the dragons them selves. With the dragons destructive force at his fingertips, no mage can stand in his way. With the ability to render his foes mana useless, or coat the world in a ruin of thunder. He is truly a force to be reckoned with!
I am so very proud to have been the one who answered his call. I am not as strong as many other dragons, but I am his familiar none the less! ..eh? My Card..? Well...Maybe another time... but for now, thank you for reading about my awesome master! *She appears to be day dreaming..*
Hmm...Yes Yes..I'm, sure you'd be curious about this section. The truth is I take after my master a bit. As a dragon I have too much time on my hands, TOO Much time on my hands, so I spend much of that time studying myths and folklore. Just as master learns what he can about dragons, I'm studying up on ancient history. So you might be wondering what I'm getting at. . . *She taps her feet on the ground* I've found that there are monsters..duel spirits if you will associated with the people who commune here daily. I know it sounds crazy but you have to believe me; after all you've seen one already.
I will be recording any thing of interest I find here in this spoiler tab for everyone to see as I find them. I am constantly studying so it will take some time to fill this, but just wait patiently. It will come. Please note that card art will not depict actual gender. The purpose of the artwork is to give off a general visual idea. *She sighs heavily through her nose and rummages through a pile of books*
After a good amount of studying I've finally struck gold! The first entry in YCM Folklore shall be seen below. Enjoy~

"Your opponent cannot target this card with card effects. Once per turn, if you control no other monsters, you can detatch an Xyz Material from this card: Special Summon 1 "The Fabled Unicore Token" (Beast-Type/LIGHT/Level 4/ATK 2300/DEF 1000) It has the following effect: While you and your opponent have the same number of cards in hand, negate all Spell, Trap and Effect Monster effects activated by your opponent, and destroy that Spell/Trap/Monster. This card cannot declare an attack this turn."
Wandering Bard..Doomed Soothsayer .Shadowed Minstrel... He had many names, but most well known was The Fairy Tale Keeper. I've read that he wandered the world aimlessly, telling a fairy tale of sadness on his travels. A tragic tale of a boy and his guardian:
The boy's guardian took the form of a mare. Dyed in white, and donned in jewelry; it drew the attention of many..and the jealousy of even more. Despite it's speed, misfortune always caught him. Despite it's power, darkness always crushed him. Despite it's love, sin always plagued him. The greedy desired the guardian for it's bounty. The evil wished it dead for sport. The jealous wished to steal it's protection. Being followed by the accumulated malice, the boy's protector vanished to find it's own peace, but left behind it's only friend. Targeted by the sinful, they raged at the boy. With the protector gone, it's value to them would fade. In their rage, they'd slay the boy relentlessly..confining his body to become one with the cold earth. . .
The protector would one day return...but to find it's friend gone; his spirit long-since left their world. It mourned for him, crying black tears which stained the earth. Casting a blight on the soil, which infected the land. Slowly the world fell into decay as all living things of nature began to rot away. The infection of sadness from the once great protector tore at the heart of the world it self. It's people were driven to melancholy, and had their will striped from their body. They would all drop one by one and become the same with the cold earth. . . Slowly but surely..the world was coming to an end. . .
. . . Hic! *She rubs her eyes of tears* I-I'm sorry..it's such a sad story.. I know..I-I may have butchered it, but there were many different versions as to how the texts writ the fairy tale. Well.. Lucky for us that's what it is. A Fable. They give us many different insights and inspire our own fairy tales. I wonder what ever became of the Fairytale Keeper anyway. Some say he settled down with his true love. . . Mmm...true love..Must be nice...*She gazes with sad eyes into space*

"Equip only to a non-DARK, Warrior-Type Monster. The equipped monster cannot be targeted or destroyed by the effects of DARK monsters. When the equipped monster battles a DARK monster, the equipped monster cannot be destroyed by that battle and the monster battling it is destroyed at the end of the damage step. When a DARK monster is destroyed by battle with a monster equipped with this card, or by this cards effect; Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the original ATK or DEF of that monster. (Which ever is higher) "
While studying I came across an interesting story. One about a sword used by a hero of ages past. The sword was supposedly forged by a god and it was to be given to a hero who swore by his conviction to protect the weak and destroy the wicked. After the first hero had passed away, the sword was adopted, and became the center-piece of an organization of knights who aspired to be like the hero. Those who desired the sword most, never got to hold it. The sword would be bestowed upon the worthy. The knight whose conviction and faith were unfaltering. He wouldn't seek the aid of the sword, but instead fought with the strength their goddess had given him. Once they had proven them selves un-knowingly, the sword would be passed to them through a ceremony.
The power of the sword granted it's owners immeasurable power against the forces of darkness, and in wielding it; the sword shares it's original owners desire to smite the wicked and protect the weak. However I've read that the owners of the sword to follow would change some-time after acquiring it. This will lead into my next journal entry, but I've got to study more on the original hero. Please look back again later.
Saturday, April 6th, 2013 - Journal Entry: The Intangible Knight

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned by sending a Monster you control equipped with a "Mythic Caliber - Expel" to the graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned, target 1 "Mythic Caliber - Expel" in your graveyard; equip it to this card. When this card battles, negate the effects of the monster it battles with. Your opponent cannot activate card effects untill the end of the damage step. If that monster has higher ATK then this attacking card, double this card's original ATk untill the end of the damage step.
After studying more, it would turn out that the original owner, a hero called the Expelknight; had his soul transcribed into the metal of the sword. In doing so his soul would transcend the knight deemed worthy of the sword, and Expel as they called him, would return to the world of the living, using his knight as a vessel. On the outside, he wouldn't be the same man; but his passion to smite the wicked remains intact. Returning to the world of the living, he happily seeks out new evil to destroy. No corner to far, or crevice to short for them to hide from him. Because the ideals of the knights were one in the same with his, no one believes any kind of possession is at hand. The people, as well as the organization that founded the ceremony of Expel, welcome it with open arms. They welcome their hero back with a warm smile and zealous cries on the field of battle.
Thursday, April 11, 2013 - Journal Entry: Dragon Sovereign

Cannot be Normal Summoned or set. Must be Special Summoned from your hand when an opponent controls a leve/rank 7 or higher Dragon-Type Monster. This card is unaffected by the effects of other Dragon-type Monsters. As long as you control this face-up card, gain control of all Dragon-Type Monsters. Once per turn, you can tribute 1 other Dragon-type monster you control: Inflict 1000 damage to your opoonent, destroy 1 card they control, and send 1 random card from their hand to the graveyard. Other monsters you control cannot attack while you control this card.
Lately I've been busy, so my studies haven't bought many fruit, just recently I've learned about a terrifying dragon from realms beyond our own. In scripture it is referred to as the Dragonic Sovereign, though it's name is Agarta Rola'n. Agarta is a massive golden dragon, dyed black from the un-ending smoke released from it's volcanic lair. The massive dragon had an equally large apatite, and what it fed on. . . other dragons. *She shudders.* They say he is incredibly conceited, and arrogant. But he had the power to back it. His strength grows on endlessly. Hunting and devouring his dragon-kin, and the gifted heroes that dare challenge him. His power and knowledge grows. Those he doesnt't kill, throw them selves at his feet. Becoming his slaves for however long he sees amusement with them. A chosen few may be kept alive long enough to grow powerful on their own, but he tends to be a very fickle master.
Many heroes have died trying to defeat the dragon, many more insane for just challenging the beast. Agarta's hunger is endless, perhaps one day he'll seek new realms beyond his own, in a conquest to satiate his endless hunger. . . but perhaps one day a hero will finally appear and slay this massive dragon. Only time will tell...
