I don't know what I wanted to see as the ending of Game of Thrones, so the way it ended I thought was fine. I know people didn't like how the last few episodes went, so it is no surprise that people dislike how it ends, but I don't know what I really want, I just wanted to see how they ended it, and now that I have, I am still glad I stuck with the show for all these years. Now to finally get through all the books, oh boy.

Damn, heard about Grumpy Cat dying, only 7 years old, I was thinking it was at least of old age, but no, sadly not.
And there goes another show, Veep just finished up its last season. Man, so many shows ending these days.
Some time ago, I discovered the band The HU, a Mongolian metal band, and now the internet has blessed me with an Indian metal band. While I'm sure they aren't the first, what's pretty interesting is that they had plans to work with Ubisoft on Beyond Good & Evil 2 with this song, but it fell through, which sucks, because the song is actually pretty good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gsy5sJy5_34
I thought the latest GoT episode was really good. I don't know if I'm easy to please these days, but I feel like this is the best season in a while, like they stepped up their game for the last season. I'll admit the dragons looked a bit weird in this episode though, and THAT thing everybody is talking about I'm still trying to find an excuse for, but can't.

I want to write an article titled "Can fictional characters have an identity crisis (feat. Sonic the Hedgehog)". Of all characters that have ever been created, I don't think that there is any chartcher that has such a clear identity, but then someone just takes everything you think you know, and just turns it on its head, throws in out, then picks back the pieces and forms an insane creation like the Sonic the Hedgehog movie.

Really, characters have identity crises (under the idea you're trying to write about) because the creator of the iteration of the character takes on it's own variation. Normally this is done through the same framework of the character, established by the canon of the character and those who create that canon, but this is not always a factor.
The argument you're trying to go for depends on not the canon of the character but the creator's framing of the framework which the character is associated with. And the creator does not have to use all, every, or even some of the established framework. By name and design, the character becomes a variant of the canon regardless of the framework used to construct the character.

Game of Thrones just got hella dark. Literally, they could have used a few more of those flaming swords, can't see what the hell was going on.
Just watched Toy Story 1 and 2, for farfromsubtle's Aweomse Piece Theater, man those movies are still fun today, though I forgot how bad the animation was on the first movie, but it still has its creative moments
Netflix just cancelled Santa Clarita Diet, which makes me sad, but not surprising, that it got 3 seasons was unexpected, since I don't think it was popular, but it apparently wasn't enough, which sucks since it seems like they could finish the series off with another season.
Chain of Memories is a weird ass game, setting aside the already rediculous nature of the Kingdom Hearts series, this one now has a completely different combat system, with like card game mechanics, but it's still an action RPG. You kind of have to spam all your cards fast or you'll die, but if you aren't being careful either, you'll end up wasting them, and you gotta make combos too, and it doesn't feel like it works, at least not yet, I just kind of feel like I don't know what I'm doing, but it doesn't seem to take much skill, and it's a bit reptitive, but at least not as bad as the combat in the first game.

Interesting, Overwatch now allows people to make their own game modes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naPxnU2-4no
