When this card is Summoned, Special Summon 1 Right Tentacle Token and 1 Left Tentacle Token (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 10/ATK 3000/DEF 2000), in Attack Position, Right Tentacle Token cannot be destroyed by battle, Left Tentacle Token cannot be destroyed by a Card Effect. If this card is removed from the field, destroy these Tokens. I was about to say its a stupid card, but i gave it a chance and read it haha. I like the effect except for the when you attack it it loses 500 DEF, because if you attack it more than once you're probably gonna lose, and that DEF is really really high. At least lower to 4000, but even thats really high, but you have the right to post OPed cards if you want to.

 

I gotta say though. I dont see any resemblance to sephiroth at all haha.

Awesome card.

 

Bought FFVII from a charity shop and have been playing through it again, has rekindled that my belief it is one of the best video games, on any console, any genre, ever. I do not exaggerate. Sephiroth is a big reason for that, one of the best villians ever.

 

I like the token idea but agree they are OPD, like Expels idea of a HP bar style system. What you could do is:

 

"These Tokens cannot attack or change Battle Position. After one of these Tokens is attacked lower the DEF of the attacked Token by The ATK of the attacking monster. While Right Magic Token is face-up on the field, this card is not destroyed as a result of battle and is unaffected by Monster Card effects, While Left Magic Token is face-up on the field, this card is unaffected by Spell or Trap Card effects."

 

Simple way of doing things, arguably Sephiroth may lose Attack power if the tokens are destroyed as well but your card and it's very good.

No problem. I like to see cool and original cards, and this is one.

 

I would love to go up against that monster with the rewritten effect, because it would be a real tatical challenge to beat it, just like FF I guess.

Whooo, looking really good. Effects are creative, pictures are great. I don't think the OCG is perfect... but hell, who am I to talk, I have no idea. 9.9/10... until you add *drumroll* Kefka! Best... Villain... Ever!

 

Will this set only consist of the main antagonists or are you going to include others as well?

The effect is amazing, plain and simple! The picture... meh, those letters ruin it for me. I know, it's iconic, but... I don't know, I guess I simply don't like letters in pictures :unsure:

 

Other than that, as promised: 10/10. It's a great set, and I can't wait for more :) (Maybe even the other tiers? Btw. spelling error at "thrid" ;))
