D'espairsRay is one of the few visual kei bands I've always really liked, can't really explain why. Although their last album wasn't that good with the exception of a few tracks like "Final Call".

yeah Visual Kei is kinda hard to pick out the good stuff in but once you do you can find some of the best of J-Metal.

Been listening to a lot of Trophy Scars again

I guess Dead End could be a VK band, never really heard of them.

Stutterfly were kinda basically Secret and Whisper before they got a new vocalist and changed their name and sound. Pretty sure that the only member in Secret and Whisper that wasnt in Stutterfly was their vocalist. I always liked how Stutterfly were darker sounding than the more mainstream Post-Hardcore bands of their time.

New Quicksand track is gud, less Punky than their older stuff kinda feels like the bands who they influenced are rubbing on them a bit.

Juturna is considered by most people, myself included, to be their best release. Their second album On Letting Go is quite good too, Blue Sky Noise is probably my least favorite but its still good, Violent Waves is pretty underrated its a lot slower than the rest of their discography but I like the mellow Post-Rock influence that it has, and Descensus is a great album thats like a summary of everything theyve done. Also just listened to The Amulet while at the cafeteria today its the closest theyve come to topping off Juturna.

Havent been as into Mastodon lately but ill still check out their album they dropped earlier this year as well as the new single.

Check ur messages bby for dat full pic of my avi.

imo, it kinda sounds like if dan harmon and the rick and morty crew made metal.

That was not a comparison I ever expected to hear. Funny its not even Metal, Shellac are a Post-Hardcore band with Noise Rock elements. They have Steve Albini in them hes a cool motherfucker.

Another thing I listened to that ive put off for too long. Fucking sick Noise Rock

Sounds like A Skylit Drive except a bit better. Kind of was expecting some dime a dozen djent band when I saw the band name and album artwork.

Randomly remembered these dudes after a long time and decided to relisten to them. Apparently they changed their name from This Routine Is Hell to Swain though ive never listened to anything they did after the name change.

I used to listen to a couple of A Perfect Circle tracks back when I was really big into Tool. Lateralus was actually the second Metal album I ever listened to though I dont really bother with it anymore.

Always love Kidcrash

BFMV are a band that I grew up with though not one that im into nowadays. The only song I ever knew by them back then though was Eye of the Storm because I heard it on an AMV way back on YouTube in the 2000s.

Classic underground 90s Hardcore Punk/Emo band. Their releases after this one are even better but a shame it is that their stuff is impossible to find on YouTube.
