Like, in the sense that you could just post said thread in General, as opposed to dedicating an entire section to a different TCG, when technically the Site is about YuGiOh? Having General sections attracts more members and such, but I believe that having a General TCG section would be promoting other card games and in-effect turning people away from YuGiOh and towards games like Pokemon (not that I have anything against Pokemon). Icy Posted November 30, 2010 Report Share Posted November 30, 2010 No. The name of the website is "Yu-Gi-Oh!" CardMaker. All aspects of this site are to benefit that goal. General = Relaxed zone, Graphics = Ways to improve cards visually, Multimedia = Another Buffer Zone. A "General TCG" section would not benefit that goal and in fact distance itself from it. Create a thread in General encompassing the entire TCG you wish to discuss and if it gets active enough, start labeling aspects of the game others wish to discuss (this however requires the Topic Creator to be heavily active). Example I dont go there...It is just to messy of a section...so that's why there that kind of posts don't survive... Nobody would join just to come to the Pokemon section because it would be partially hidden, but if we add more variety as to what people can discuss and do on the site, more becomes available for the users to do. I am all for greater variety of the site, and don't feel it would delineate from the other sections in the slightest. My only problem with the idea at all is I don't know how it could be organized to that it would not take up a lot of space, but still be usable...
