The Emperors Blades by Brian Stavely, fairly good fantasy read. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fantasy pick-up.

The best aspect of it has to be the non-linearity of the narrative, lots of good sheet going on, keeps the pages turning.

Finished After Dark by Murakami just now. It's...a strange work, unlike anything I've had the pleasure of reading before. It's my first time reading Murakami's writing and funk, I love this guy. It's a pretty damn short novel and by the end it feels like I didn't understand everything, yet I'm in awe at what I just read. The omniscient first-person camera narration threw me off completely yet it fitted right in with the 'strange' tone of the writing.

Totto-chan, I will get to finishing you someday but until then, it's on to 1Q84 for me.
