I will do Xyz monsters, but since I lack a Xyz monster Card Template, it will be an Effect monster with it's Level as it's Rank. -The first person to post with the intention of challenging me will be accepted. -Votes MUST have at least 2 good reasons. Saying the image looks cooler, the card looks cooler etc. will not count. -Good votes, get 5 points from me. -If there is no winner by June 25, 2011, the person with the highest number of votes wins(If it's a tie, my opponent wins). -First to 5 votes wins. -Winner gets a Rep and 30 Points from the loser. -To make sure you have read the rules, people who wish to face me, must post their challenging post with Red text. Voters, must use Blue text to cast votes. If you don't know how to change the Text color, just highlight your text, press this button: and select the appropriate color. TheBigCheese Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 For me, there is simply only 1 winner, but before I announce my vote I shall go through each card: "Angel of The Wind, Valkler" - To begin on a miniscule point, the "the" in the name of your card should be capitalized however that is irrelevant and will have no bearing on the outcome of the 1-on-1. At a glance the card is of a reasonable quality however there seems to be some slight problems with it. To begin with, "Angel" is not a monster Type, although this isn't a massive flaw it takes away from the cards authenticity somewhat. Now to the OCG, it's passable however you say that "when the card is Summoned" whereas you need to specify what kind of summoning that entails (Special/Normal Summon). The effect itself is quaint but doesn't seem to push the limits of creativity. "Insect Overlord" - This card is finely tuned and well balanced, I wouldn't be surprised if I pulled it out of a pack. The one issue I have with it though is the part of the effect that includes the dice-roll, for me it was a random addition to your effect, however this is only my opinion and it must make sense in your own mind so that's all that matters. Renj GMV as his card is more creative, is better balanced, has better OCG and seems more authentic in general. P.S: On a note relating to voting on 1-on-1's, it didn't take me long to vote, I just wished more people would take the time to vote or else at the end of the day the 1-on-1 section will suffer for it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
