This one man alone single-handedly brought the Five Great Shinobi Villages to its knees through deception and manipulation, which soon escalated to the Fifth Shinobi World War, with the five villages warring against one another. Once the war ended within weeks and after its true culprit found, and in an effort to stop this villainous person responsible for said conflict, the Five Great Shinobi Villages retaliated with its best warriors into forming a five-man cell called "[b]Special Ninja Task Force[/b]", with each member belonging to one of the Five Great Shinobi Villages, and to put an end to him and his devious, most-likely evil, schemes. Which they have. Miraculously. But that came with a heavy price. A casualty. A noble sacrifice. One of the members of the Special Ninja Task Force was slain in an effort to seal off the lone individuals' powers away to turn the tides for his other allies. Had he'd not done what he did, things would of turned out quite differently for the remaining five-man cell. [[u]Present[/u]] You are a shinobi. But not just any shinobi; A hero, a living legend whose skills and prowess surpasses those before you. You, along with four others, miraculously saved the shinobi world from a lunatic bent solely on destruction and death -- Whose strength and skills alone rivals that of the combined forces of the Special Ninja Task Force, for no one else survived his onslaught whomever went after him. Unfortunately, like all journeys as a life of a shinobi, your hero's days are nearing to an end... A summit has been called forth to discuss the further developments of the Special Ninja Task Force and which suitable candidates should be chosen should the previous members are unable to hold the title for whatever reason. However, unbeknownst to them, an organization has risen from hiding to challenge this five-man cell, the Five Great Shinobi Villages' greatest warriors, and put their name to the test. Their name; [b]Akatsuki[/b]... [/spoiler] [b][Important Notice][/b] As you may have noticed, this is a prologue RP. A prelude that must take place before the main one may begin. One that requires the death of all players' characters participating the RP (Or at least the ones part of the Special Ninja Task Force). Now, before you choose to create a character, please remember to be incredibly overpowered (Yes, you heard correct), but not too much and make sure their stories/backgrounds are believable and how they managed to attain such skills/powers/techniques and other whatnot. This, however, is [b]limited to the first five people who join/reserve[/b] and who become part of the Special Ninja Task Force. And also, provided that they show a RPing example before they become accepted. You may copy and paste a RPing example from one of your previous posts from other RPs, provided that you show me the link to said post, and only on YCM (Can't trust other sites, ya know =P). This Prologue won't take too long. 2-5 weeks, possibly. Then the main version will be created shortly after this one ends. Also, the main RP might turn out to be a RPG. Its all entirely based on whether this one goes well or not, really. When facing death or when greatly enraged/saddened, a Kazama shinobi undergoes a transformation in their left eye. This transformation allows the shinobi to manipulate chakra, make it visible, and use it as a weapon/armor. The Demon Eye has two stages. The second is only used as a last resort. It can only be acquired after a state of emotional distress, such as the death of a loved one or anything else that causes a shinobi’s emotions to rile up. The second stage changes the appearance of BOTH eyes. In the second stage of the Demon Eye, a shinobi is able use their chakra as anything they need at the moment they use it. Because it completely drains a shinobi’s chakra, the second stage of the Demon Eye will most likely lead to the users death. He is very serious when it comes to his missions and always makes sure to coplete them without casualties. He is kind to others and always tries to see things through the eyes of another. For this reason he is very forgiving and always tries to bring out the good in others. He is very prideful of Sunagakure, and would risk his life for it. [b]History/Background:[/b] Shinn was born in the Village Hidden in the Sand, a carrier of the legendary Kazama Kekkai Genkai, The Akujin (Demon Eye). Because he possesed such a great power, Shinn was able to easily climb the ranks of the Shinobi until he was a Jounin at the young age of 14. Soon after, at 16, Shinn was recruited into the ANBU, soon becoming its best Shinobi. Over a year later the Fifth Shinobi World War broke out and the Special Ninja Task Force was formed with intent on the man who started it all. Shinn began to bond with each member of the SNTF and through their bond they were able to defeat the mastermind of the fifth Shinobi World War. But it came at a great cost, as one of the members of the SNTF was killed by his own jutsu to seal the masterminds powers. This moment was vert straining for Shinn, and because of it he acquired the Akujin’s second stage. Within the next ten years, Shinn trained his Akujin to perfection and stayed the Greatest of Suna but constantly denied the position of the successor of the Kazekage. [b]History/Background:[/b] Kazuya was born in the tatsuo clan near iwagakure learning at the age of 5 what the chimera technique was from hi attempts to read the scrolls his clan had whilst he attended the ninja academy in iwagakure. He grew quickly as a nin earth release element being his normal element as he grew in power until he reached the age of 22 at which time he fully understood the chimera techniques conditions. managing to find and subdue 5 nin with kekkei genkai and taking them to Mount Shumisen during a solar eclipse and absorbing them granting him 'immortality' and the ability to use their kekkei genkai due to having completely absorbed them. At the age of 22 he stood for Iwagakure as a member of the 5 man Special Ninja Task Force using his abilities to fight the evil man along with four others remembering only one by name, Shinn Kazama, his bond with the others rather then pure friendship w more of out of necessity having preferred to be left alone and for such a reason had never in his next 10 years accepted the position of Tsuchikage as he stayed within Iwagakure. A cunning individual and has incredible speed, he has remarkable strength even for his small size. And despite having this stoic demeanor about him, Zoku will slack off occasionally during missions, and has a habit of joking around. But he become serious during battles when the situation calls for it. However, he wasn't always like this. He was a ruthless individual once, aggressive and arrogant, whom showed no compassion nor mercy to his enemies, and was known as the "Red Demon" before the time he joined SNTF. [b]History/Background:[/b] During the time before he joined SNTF, and during the Fifth Shinobi World War, Kokuzoku was one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist. He is a master at swordsmanship. His history before that remains a mystery, but was rumored that he was once part of the Hunter-nin within the ANBU division in his village before the spark of the fifth war began. Originally, Kokuzoku had short black hair. However, during the war, after killing hundreds or so, his hair turned red and the name "Red Demon" stuck after that. However, when asked about it he recalls nothing as to how it happened. He is not only able to make use of the first two abilities of Dark Release, which is to absorb chakra through the larger overlapping diamond and use the Dark Release: Judgment with the smaller diamond, but has advanced it to make use of a third and fourth diamond that appears on both sides of the other two though are the same size as the smaller diamond. The new diamonds allow the use of Dark Release: Black Hole and Dark Release: Oblivion. The Dark Release Symbol also appears on both of his hands. - Immortality Jutsu: Sometime over the course of his life, Ryuzan began experimenting on , not unlike Orochimaru, Ryuzan developed a jutsu to sustain his own life. The jutsu he developed sucks the raw life energy from a person and transfers it to Ryuzan. The life energy dissipitates quicker than usual because it is not his own life energy, so he must perform the jutsu at regular intervals. For every year that passes, he spends energy equivalent to 3 years. If a person has 30 years of life energy left, Ryuzan will receive another 10 years. He does not hesitate to kill meaninglessly and kidnap to whatever serves his desired ends, whether they be for Akatsuki or himself. He is extremely power-seeking, usually searching for mythical ninja objects to increase his already substantial power. He is a tactical genius with excellent abilities of deception great enough to keep all but the most supremely gifted ninja off his trail with expert proficiency and manipulate others enough to allow him to perform the amount of experiments that he did. He is not often caught without his serious face and demeanor when out of battle, but it can easily erupt into what can only be described as "Extreme Madness" when engaged in battle where he enjoys himself the most. [b]History/Background:[/b] - Not much is known about Ryuzan's background or history. What village he came from is a complete mystery, though a few other details have been ascertained. As a child, He wasn't extraordinarily exemplary and he always remained withdrawn. Academic wise, he was definitely top-class but always discretely behind a few others, coming in 2nd or sometimes placing 4th or 5th in the class if his grades dropped suddenly in the span of a few days. No clan is remembered for him and even the reason for his wickedness is completely unknown to the many, save Ryuzan himself. Some reports claim to have seen a young boy resembling him about 50 years ago, but such reports are regarded as rubbish and thrown in the trash before they're taken seriously. [b]Jutsu(s):[/b] Life Energy Reincarnation Jutsu - Ranking: S+ - Type: Kinjutsu - Description: Ryuzan draws the special seal for the jutsu on the ground. It takes a huge amount of space, requiring at least a cathedral-sized area for it to fit. Pillars are placed in 5 special areas of the seal each with another few symbols drawn on them. Chains are attached to the top of each pillar and wrap around a person held in place by the chains with the sacrificial emblem burned on their forehead, marking their life energy to be drained. Ryuzan stands in the center of the symbol, beneath where the sacrificed person is held in place. The jutsu is extremely strenuous on Ryuzan and the smallest interruption can ruin the entire thing. This jutsu works even if the receiver is dead, though there is a limit for how long until they are unrevivable and it can also be used continuously. Another side effect of using the jutsu is that he doesn't age, rather when his body runs low on life energy, he begins to feel weaker and weaker. There are also some other requirements in order for the victim's life energy to be transferred, it is surmised that the victim must have a certain similarity with the user, though what is unknown. Dark Release: Black Hole - Ranking: A - Type: Ninjutsu - Description: Ryuzan bends down and releases black-colored chakra from his hand that soon spreads to form a sphere around him in a large area around him. The Dark Release Chakra engulfs Ryuzan and anyone within the large sphere of heavy dark atmosphere that is hard to move in. The Sphere than ignites in an inferno of blue judgement flames. Dark Release - Ranking: A - Type: Genjutsu - Description: A Genjutsu where the user traps the user's mind in what is called "The Dark Realm". The setup for the jutsu is the Dark Release Mark on the user's hands, which the user must touch and imbue the mark somewhere on the person's body. Once activated, the victim's mind is trapped in a dark world where they will be hunted in their imagination by samurai that will seem to be immune to all Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. He can become quite a humorous man when he is surrounded by certain friends or allies, although his timing isn't always perfect. He can also be quite charming, too, and has been known within his village to be well-respected and highly honorable individual. Shimo has rarely been seen in combat and does not get himself involved in troublesome matters unless absolutely necessary, or becomes rather bored and in needs of a good spar. However, when in combat, he generally thinks carefully before acting, allowing him to easily survive dangerous situations and can be quite extremely serious should a life of an ally or friend is threatened. Fearing their firstborn child would most likely become targeted, Shimo's parents lived in isolation deep within cold mountains. And as he grew, his training was soon later entirely focused on his clan's Kekkei Genkai, which he found quite difficult to perform and later unable to succeed in perfecting it. Shimo's father couldn't bear watching his son struggle at this - Whom Shimo was unfortunately inexperienced with his very own clan's techniques - and in a desperate attempt to help his only child, Shimo's father created something for him at the cost of his own chakra -- A unique blade and a treasured heirloom called Tsumetai. Its considered rare and unique due to the fact that it actually talks to the person who wields it -- Whom Shimo frequently engages in friendly conversation with it whenever it doesn't insults him, which it usually does every often. The origin or its exact history isn't known much, but its believed that a shinobi was sealed inside said blade and that only a specific word of releasing the seal would remove him from its imprisonment. And only Shimo's family, the Yuki Clan, knows of its existence and its dark secrets. Being part of the Yuki Clan, whose members carried the Ice Release kekkei Genkai, Shimo's blade, whom he inherited it from his now deceased father, has a rather unique properties which allows him to send out waves of projectile ice attacks or the like by utilizing his Wind and Water elements, channeling his ice techniques throughout his sword without the use of hand seals. It is believed that the small medallion-like crystal strapped at the edge of the hilt is Shimo's fathers' chakra, which enables his son to channel said ice techniques more easily -- And if should the crystal-like medallion break, though it requires a powerful force in order to do so, its tremendous and highly unorthodox ice elemental chakra reserves would cause the area surrounding it to burst pillars of ice, encasing and freezing whatever and whomever is unfortunate enough to be near its range. However, without his sword Tsumetai Shimo cannot perform any of his Kekkei Genkai's techniques. Not unless he fully masters his clans ice techniques, although he strongly believes this will never occur. He recently became a Jounin within his village, and is eager to prove his merit by helping others and such by joining the SNTF. He's one of several hand-picked candidates from his village to succeed in becoming a member of the legendary 5-man cell team called Special Ninja Task Force. He currently seeks to help the individual locked inside the sword, although he does so in secrecy, lest his enemies find out about it. He grew up as any other person happy, relaxed not a care in the world. He graduated the ninja academy at the age of ten and continued training, but his training methods where different than most. If this is your choice, its accepted. And to answer that question, much like a Kage is needed, the SNTF require a [b]5[/b]-man cell team, each one belonging to the five villages to represent its strength and stuff. In other words, they selected another ninja to replace the deceased one to maintain and preserve its foundation and help build trust between the five villages once more (Hence they were deceived and manipulated to spiral into war). Should the SNTF become disbanded or if one of the villages refuses to partake on this method, they would be deemed hostile and untrustworthy and such. I'll add your character once you decide which one you'd like to use. =P ANBU, unfortunately as much as I hate to say this, but your character has to belong to one of the Five Great Shinobi Villages and not any other villages. Sand/Sunagakure has been taken by BLUR's character, so that limits you to just the other four at the moment. Although I'm not sure if Raven's character is a member of the SNTF, otherwise you'd be limited to only 3 villages. But other than that, accepted so far. =P Although, I'll still need those Background, Appearance and Personality, though. We'll begin once we've filled at least 3 or 4/5 of the 5-man cell team. This jutsu works even if the receiver is dead, though there is a limit for how long until they are unrevivable and it can also be used continuously. Another side effect of using the jutsu is that he doesn't age, rather when his body runs low on life energy, he begins to feel weaker and weaker. There are also some other requirements in order for the victim's life energy to be transferred, it is surmised that the victim must have a certain similarity with the user, though what is unknown. The setup for the jutsu is the Dark Release Mark on the user's hands, which the user must touch and imbue the mark somewhere on the person's body. Once activated, the victim's mind is trapped in a dark world where they will be hunted in their imagination by samurai that will seem to be immune to all Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. The Ryuugan can take as much as half an hour to create a single portal when used by somebody with limited training, it curently takes Kano 5 minutes. Another differnce is that it is unable to sustain life becuse it has no natural chakra. Most ninja can only survive an hour at most, however a ninja who is in sage mode is able to go almost a full day. The time will drop drasticaly if the ninja uses chakra techniques while in the area. The portal can not be close by the Ryuugan which, because it can not be seen accept by eye techniques, can cause anybody who stumbles in to it to fall in to the demintion. Although the portal can not be closed by Ryuugan it will close up naturaly after about a week.Do to the Rex clan being able to see nature chakra, they have a much stronger afinity for the dragon sage jutsu than most ninja, despite most clan members having only an above average chakra level.[/spoiler][spoiler=Dragon Sage mode]Dragon sage mode(DSM) is a specilty of the Rex Clan(also nicknamed 'The Dragon clan') which gatheres natural chakra from the surounding area, just like the toad sage mode(TSM). However there are noticable differances between the two, most notibaly is the change in apperance. While the TSM will only transform the eyes during a perfect transformation, the DSM gives the user a dragon-like tail and claws. Dragon-like wings, which can be used to fly, is the sighn of a perfect DSM, it is verry rare for this to happen. The DSM does not increase physical strength, speed, stamina, and durability [b]as much[/b], however the user no longer needs hand seals to perform element jutsu. (Growing in size is the main sighn that the user has gathered too much sage chakra-Apperance changes-the higher the level, the stronger the sage mode. The first level is based on how well you sage chakra is, but beond that is based on how much kindness you have in your heart, which is the key to the dragon clans abilities. In the 3rd and 4th form the user is capable of shaping the chakra in to almost any shape he can think of.lv 1-Claws, fangs. [spoiler=[b]History/Background:[/b] ]Daichi is well known among the cloud village as the head of the Dragon clan. Many people think that his younge age makes him unqualified for this position, however his streingth makes him more than a match for any other ninja in the village. Do to Daichi's natural kindness he was considered a genous among his clan in terms of the DSM, able to use the second form at only 13, where most can't use that until almost 16, at which point Daichi had already gone up to stage 3. Like most of his clan members, he read a tablet that is kept hidden by the clan, only readable by those who have mastered the sage art. The tablet spoke of the verry first dragon sage, who got the eyes from a duying dragon as a gift, it said that only those who are able to gain the same mind as that of a dragon can perfect the DSM. When he was 19 years old Daichi did just that, he didn't solve the riddle, like many believed you had to, in fact he had been completely clueless thinking about the riddle only moments before his transformation took place. When he was on a mission he and his commerads where ambushed, despite his best efforts they where out numbered and where slowly pushed back, It wasn't until one of his companions was delt a fatal blow and was close to death that his wings sprouted. Accepted, once you finish the Background and Jutsu, though. Although, I might decline if you go overboard with jutsu's. We'll see, I suppose. Well, I suppose its a start. Also, organized the first post a bit and updated almost everyone's characters. Those whom aren't listed under [i]Character(s)[/i] must either edit or update their characters. Remember, a Kage Summit will be underway shortly hidden in a secret location to discuss S.N.T.F and its members whilst the organization known as [i]Akatsuki[/i] plans/does something diabolically. If anyone has any questions/suggestions, either ask 'em here or PM me. Also, I won't be RPing as much. Only during after work will I be able to respond (Which is in the evening).
