Genetic Military and War Depot, Previous FBI Headquarters
Bi-oid Genetic Research Headquarters
Mission Command Room
1600 hours
A large group of Bi-oids crowded around the expansive table in the center of a large metallic room. Bi-oids of every kind were crowed into the room, each with their own abilities and mindset. Gossip was quickly encircling the room as Everyone talked about why they each had been pulled off the battlefield.
"Did you hear about. . ." One said to another.
"It was destroyed by. . ." said another.
As the talking continued, four men entered the room. Two of the men were Bi-oids. One, a tall snake-man, very advanced in his years. He had obviously seen a large amount of combat in his days.
The other Bi-oid as a Beetle-man. He was much younger that the snake man but stilled looked like he had seen plenty of combat.
The other two men were human, one by his number of patches was a high ranking General, the other was a smaller man, who wore nothing more than a simple black trench coat, black slacks and a top hat.
Every Bi-oid in the room looked at the small group and saluted before returning to their business. The group approched a platform in the center of the room, nobody paying them any mind untill they called everyone to attention. Everyone stood at attention and saluted.
"Welcome, everyone. At ease." The general said. Everyone sat down and listened intently to the general. "I'm going to make this short and sweet. You are all Bi-oids, a breed of super-soldiers infused with animal DNA, built to fight and kill Misshapen. This you all already know." Everyone fell silent, shocked and awed by the power and charisma the man boasted. "These 'men' behind me" He pointed to the two senior Bi-oids behind him. " will be the two squad leaders for the mission at hand. Senior Captian Sevrin and Senior Captian Michaels. Each of you will be divided into squads led by one of these two men." The general read off some names and everyone in the room seperated into the teams chosen ahead of times.
"I will now hand over the mic." He said. The other man in black moved over to the mic and began his speech.
"Welcome, everyone." He said. "My name is Dr. Woodrow. That is all you need to know about me. I have read all your files and i know about each and everyone of you. Your mission will be in two places. Alpha Squadren will be heading to a small village in Romania. There is a strategical outpost there that must be maintained. Beta Squadren will be heading to Moscow to help fend off an army of Misshapen that has begun to press into Asia. Each of you will follow your squad leaders and do as they say. You will reach your destinations by means of helicopter and you will depart in 10 minutes. Get to know each of your teammates as you will be relying on them for everything for the remainder of your mission. Now, Dismissed."

As soon as the captains walked into the room, Mace immediately stood to attention, his eyes straight forward. He listened intently to everything that was said, trying hard to apply it to his future missions. He had grown close to a few of his fellow Bi-oid's at the headquarters and was unwilling to work with outsider whom he knew little about. His eyes shifted from side to side, scanning the crowd for a familiar face, but in vain. He began to grind his sharp canines together, the anxiety building in his chest. As soon as the Captain dismissed them, Mace turned and made his way outside the crowd, his breathing slightly labored.

He thought to himself. "Why the hell do they have to make this whole thing so complicated. I hate this. Why can't things be as simple as the training room?"

When the captains came in Age was the last one to stand, he didn't even salute. "What a pain" he mumbled to himself. "This is so dam boring." Throughout the whole talk he was just thinking how boring the whole meeting was. At one point he was just looking around trying to find something to do. After they were allowed to do what they want Age sat down. "When are going to get to the fighting." he screamed while leaning back on his chair. "I'm itching to kick some butt right now." He just sat there in boredom with a look on his face that just said he was bored. All he could do was cross his arms and wait till something exiting happens.

During the meeting Strix was at the back of the room, his solute was nothing out of the ordanary, when he sat back down he didn't so much as glance at the men who where talking. Anybody who saw him would have thought that he wasn't paying any attention at all, he only listened. "I wasn't expecting them to put me in with a group, but I guess I should make the best of the situation." When the meeting was over he stepped outside with the rest of the Bioids. He was glad to have space, being part bird he doesn't like being inside where he can't streach out his wings.

After regaining his composure, Mace turned back to the crowd of unfamiliar face. His glance veered to the corner of the room to spot a man with long black hair covering most of his face wearing a skull T-shirt. A small smile cracked in the corner of Mace's mouth as soon as he caught sight of Age. He walked over to his friend, who was, as always, on the sidelines complaining about wanting to fight rather than talk. Mace walked up next to Age.

"Careful, with all that whining, Age, don't want to give yourself an aneurysm do you?" Mace said with in a joking tone.

Sevrin stares into the crowd as the bi-oids leave to board the helicopters and prepare for battle. He looks around at the few left in the room and taps the shoulder of the general and leans his elongated neck to look the general in the face. "Permisssson to eat general?" The general simply nods his head and motions Sevrins head out of his face. Sevrin walks off the platform and to the cafeteria directly to the right of the platform and grabs a whole cooked chicken and swallows it whole and the rejoins the ranks of the commanding officers. He licks his lips and coughs. "I hate already dead food." After that he remains silent waiting until he is ordered to go to the helicopter.

Age,leaning on his chair, looked up and saw Mace there. "Maybe, maybe not" He responded with a smile. "Anyways you better make some friends while here because I might not be here one day." He said to Mace in a joking tone as well. When he said that he leaned back even further on his chair laughing until he fell back. He was close to a wall so he bumped his head and then slid down. "What a pain!" he screamed again. He stayed down on the floor looking at the ceiling. He then closed his eyes while still on the floor. "So you think were going to be in the same squad?" Age asked Mace.

Gyr looked around the metal room. She didn't notice anyone by face but she decided to meet the rest of her team. She slowly approched the team, immediatly noticing the Owl boy. "He's cute." She said to her self under her breath. She shook her head and mumbled to herself again. "Keep your head in the game,Gyr." As she did she heard her a voice over the intercom.
"Everyone, get to 'da choppa." Came a deep jamacin voice whom she guessed was the pilot.
"I guess we will get to fomalities later." She said heading to the door. She quickly climbed the stairs and headed out to the heli-pad, finding Dr. Woodrow again.
"Welcome, Alpha Squadren. You will be arriving via chopper like i said previously. Flyers will be required to fly on their own however we have motified the chopper to have seats on the rails so you may rest if you get tired. Good luck everyone."

Mace let out a sigh. "What can I say, I guess you're just better at trusting people than me. I'll try, but no promises. I have a feeling this is going to be nothing like training in in the lab."

He looked over the crowd. "I hope so, you're one of the few people I know will have my back on a mission like this.

The sound of the pilot's cry made Mace turn and stand in attention. He looked to the side so that Age was in the corner of his vision.

"I think that's our queue." He ran over to Dr. Woodrow just in time to hear the end of the mission report. He let out a sigh and lifted an arm to message the his shoulders. "You've gotta be kidding me. I'm gonna gonna be so sore after this, I can tell."

He reached his arm back and tour of the back of his black suit. As soon as he did, a pair of long, black bat wings burst out of his skin, stretching out to a 12 foot wing span.

Sevrin heard the sound of the piolt on the intercom and went to round up any straglers left in the building. The first he saw was the emperor scorpion laying on the ground. He walks across the room and pulls out his sniper rifle. He points the gun point blank at the emperor scorpions head.

"Your ordersss are to get to the chopper. Get up and move along. I will not be ressposssible for leaving anyone who doessn't follow ordersss."

He looks down seeming harsh and ready to ditch anyone on the battle field that doesnt follow his orders, but he thinks quite the opposite. He knows that anyone let behind can mean more deaths due to to less warriors meaning less protection.

Even with the sniper rifle was aimed at his head Age wasn't the slight bit worried. "What if I just want to rest" Age responded calling the bi-oid's bluff. He knew that if he would get shot, that the bi-oid wouldn't get away with it. "I think I'll just rest here for a bit" Age then put his hands behind his head and closed his eyes. "What am I saying" Age said. "I'm in need of good fight. So I'll go, but just for that reason. Don't think that I'm going to listen to you from now on." Age stood up and walked out leaving the bi-oid in the room. He then got on the "chopper".

Do to Strix's Sensitive hearing, he was easily able to hear Gyr's coment, but he did not react in the slighest. He was to preocupied with the upcuming mission, that and he wasn't even sure who Gyr was talking about. "That figures." He knew that he would have no problem keeping up with the chopper but long distance flying always took a tole on his wings. His training kept him from voicing his complaints, and his pride was more than enough to keep him from using the seats. Strix sighed as he spread his wings out as far as they could to stretch before, what was definately going to be, a long flight.

Mace wrapped himself in his wings in a very bat-like fashion, covering his body in his winged hands. He walked over to the side of the copper where Age was sitting.

"See what I mean about trusting people? How is this mission supposed to go right if you and me have to keep checking our backs in case a guy like that decides to turn?"

Mace did a high front flip to land on the one of the blades of the stationary helicopter, hanging upside down in wait for the mission to begin.

"This does not bode well..."

Sevrin walks out of the compound after his unrealistic threat and to the helicopter. He puts one foot on the rail touching the ground and another on the top of the helicopter. He looks around at all of the bi-oids and pulls looks at his other hand reading a list. He looks from the list to the bi-oids several times before he speaks up.

"Where isss the Tiger?"

He looks around at the other bi-oids in the helicopter waiting for an answer and making sure is side facing seat wasn't taken. He stabs one of his daggers into the head of his seat and the small snake around his waist uncurls itself and slides into his seat to mark it as he heads back into the compound to look for the missing bi-oid.

"This is going to be fun." Strix folded his fings back up after streching them and looked around to see how many other flyers there where. The first one he noteced was Mace, hanging upside down from one of the chopper blades. "I wonder if it's wrong to hope that Those blades start spining while he is hanging from that thing." He laughed under his breath at this thought. He then noticed Gry, the first thing that poped in to his head after seeing her was 'How did the scientist ever get there hands on angel DNA'. Sadly this was a serious thaught and he made a mental note to ask about it later. "A vampire, an angel, and an owl man." He said as he counted with his fingers. "Sounds like this is gonna be one hell of a fun flight."

Gyr looked around at the team. Small but effective. She thought. She looked looked over at Strix again, her eyes kept moving towards him. She then looked at the Bat guy as the blades of the chopper began to slowly spin. She yelled up towards him, "Don't get dizzy!"
Gyr then looked at the ground, figuring the high. She then took three steps back before running forward at full speed, jumping off the building. Gyr let herself free fall twenty feet before opening her wings and regaining altitude. Gyr returned to the top of the building and looked at everyone. "Come on, let's get this show on the road."

Tigre slowly oppened his eyes, looking around the empty room. "Huh? Where did everyone go?" he muttered to himself. He looked around at the pitch black room, noticing only a small light coming from a patch of stairs off to his right. He slowly walked over to it, as he did he saw a shadow move quickly from the light to right in front of him.
He heard a voice hiss at him. "Get up the sssstairsss now, or I'll blow your head off your shoulders." Tigre wasted no time after hearing the phantom voice, quickly heading towards the light and up the stairs to the rest of his team.

At the sight of seeing Mace hanging from the spining blades, Strix couldn't help but laugh. "This guy is gonna end up dead before we even get there." He smirked. He then jumped off of the building after Gyr and immediately started beating his wings to lift him up. "Hey, batman, if you dont hurry up then we're gonna leave you behind." He flew a bit higher and then started flying east towards Romania.

As Jin watched Strix and Gyr fly around he was glad that he was bred from a shark, rather than a bird. He would hate to have to fly all the way to Russa with a pair of wings. With that he climbed in to the helicopter for the Beta Squad and waited to head out.

As the blades of the helicopter began to spin, Mace release his grip and dropped to the floor on his hands and knees. He then stood and stretched out his wings out as far as they could go. He looked over at Strix and forced out a large, awkward smile, revealing his four enlarged canines.

"Ha....Batman...T...That's a good one...haha..."

Mace gave one last wave to his friend before he proceeded to run full speed off the platform, free falling head-first for a few seconds before untucking his wings and catching the air. The rushing air current pushed him forwards and up, helping him to quickly catch up to the other flyers. After a few seconds of flying along side them, he spoke up loud enough for them for hear him over the rushing wind.

"So..." Mace said in an uneasy tone. "I'm Experimental Bi-oid 011-A...or Mace...which ever is more convenient..."
