Therrion
One of my cards that I just made. I am trying hard to perfect my OCG XD Hard though, everyone says something different.
Discard this card: Negate the activation of a Trap card and Set it. When this card is Special Summoned: Select 1 card on the field; return it to the hand.
Made it to fit nice into my Level 1 Relinquished Chaos deck ^,^ Kinka-Byo Summon, bounce Owl itself, could be nice tech. Or just Kinka-Byo Summon, bounce opponent monster, attack with alot and win XD
ragnarok1945
shame the trap negation only works via discarding I kind of hoped you would use it for tributing on the field for the trap negation, but then that might make it too much if combined with Icarus Attack
Therrion
Well, as stated, it was made with my Level 1 deck in mind. Kinka-Byo in particular. Summoning Kinka then SS this from grave, and use its effect to return itself to hand for easy reuse
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
Actually it's pretty playable. I'd like it as a Tuner, but this is also good. Penguin is still on top of this but this card is good. Like you said Kinka-byo could troll this card, level 1 Xyz for fun. It's actually pretty playable although that self loop might pose an issue. Although I dont think so. Good good.
Dr. Lecter
I agree wonderful card haha, I think its well thought out, and 10/10 just for the troll logic of it
Therrion
Thanks Its only a loop with 1 card, it is way inferior to other loops. The negation doesn't destroy the Trap anyways, would just iritate those who play Traps with costs XD
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
Loop is 2 card and its iffy because you can infinitly negate trap cards such as Warning Judgment and Seven Tools, that require a cost and it keeps your opponent paying while unable to use it. It's basically a more usable Royal Decree when used with Kinka-Byo.
Therrion
A Royal Decree that would take my Normal Summon each turn. Plus, they would just stop playing it when they know the card is in my hand.
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
I'm not saying this is only against Cost cards, this also negates all traps. Also, decks made primarily of Level 1's benefit from Ultimate Offering. And it's not every turn, you still need to discard this for you to work with Kinka-Byo, but that's just me nit picking. Mystic Piper would also be a funny use for this. Anyways, I'm not saying this card is broken or anything, just identifying a troublesome loop. Therrion
What would Ultimate Offering do? Mystic Piper is in the Level 1 deck I made The only way this is abusable is with Kinka I would believe, it is like a once per turn Shi En without the destruction (and only for Traps). If you see another mass abuse, tell me.
Blake
It's so-so. Not broken, not bad. Dropping it is funny, but it's too slow to stop the most important Traps. SS effect is rather ineffectual, as well. It's playable, not great.
Archelaus
Loop is 2 card and its iffy because you can infinitly negate trap cards such as Warning Judgment and Seven Tools, that require a cost and it keeps your opponent paying while unable to use it.
You can't negate Warning, Judgment and Seven Tools with this as this card is Spell Speed 2 and those cards are Spell Speed 3. Basic game mechanics. ascriptmaster
Interesting effect, and creative too. Bouncing effect is nice if you have the right support to use it, too. When a Trap Card is activated: Discard this card; Negate the activation and Set it. When this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 card on the field; return that target to the hand. I wasn't sure about the exact wording for re-Setting the Trap, so I left it as-is. Remember for next time: When you're negating an activation, it needs the condition of when that type of card is activated, etc. Also, costs are never placed before colons, only semicolons. (Your cost for the first effect, to discard Messenger Owl, had a colon after it.)
