One of the most Underrated Counter Traps ever. I know that most decks special summon a lot this meta, but really card is good. It doesn't only annoy by returning the monster, it negates the summon for no cost. Discuss.
Tourmaline
I-is this worth running? I could see this stopping opening plays such as Tour Guide, Venus, a Gadget or Tengu, I'd think. Or does Tengu still work, since it's saying the card is being returned to the hand?

Tourmaline
It's been some time since I looked into this sort of thing, my apologies. Anyway, this seems relatively viable. Actually, looking at this now, I want to run it and test it.
Master Hyperion
Compulsory Evacuation Device is better. And CED is horrible this format.

Master Hyperion
Reloading your opponent's Agents/Tour Guides isn't going to win you games and CED can hit bigger monsters as well, although it really isn't a ideal play this format. Mine is the opposite, CED is worse since it only returns and can be countered unlike this since it negates and its a Counter Trap, Weird I feel like I already said this before
El Majishan
CED is more versatile. It can return ANY monster at ANY time making it the better card.

People are all obsessed with the more versatile cards and this special little card is forgotten now =/
CDDRodrigo
Card IS overlooked, but for good reasons that were stated above already. You already have Solemns. Why run this? Not even Counter Fairies or Van'Dalgyon decks need this.
Ieyasu Tokugawa
This was once viable when everything was Normal Summoned. Now the only good targets would be tribute summoned monsters like Caius, but you still go -1 either way.
DARKPLANT RISING
Guys, this and CED have completely different purposes. This pretty much "stuns" the Normal Summon and alows you to peek into your opponent's hand. It's an anti-normal summon card. On the other hand, CED is mainly (no, always) used on Synchros and Xyz, and nothing more. Most Synchros require a normal summon, so they're both good in that sense. The problem is the fact they're overall outclassed/unneeded.
Synchronized
CED allows for more versatile plays, and it's chainable so if your opponent baits it with MST, you can just activate it and use it at any time. This isn't chainable and only works on Normal Summons, leaving it a pretty big drawback and not with the space in a fast format.
NumberCruncher
Forced back is decent, but it doesn't do anything a different card can't do better.
