The last thing Sara could remember clearly was her training in the rehearsal rooms for at least 3 hours. They had to prepare for the upcoming performance on the weekend and as usual, getting the steps down properly at that point was the absolute deadline in order to avoid a catastrophe. Since their performance on Saturday would require dancing in heels and, towards the final, dropping feathers around like a fancy burlesque-ish show, they had already been rehearsing in full primetime attire.

Now the very last thing she could remember was everyone laughing after one of the members accidentally hit her neighboor’s face during the chorus part again and the main dancer questioning their stylists’ choice of putting her into rather unflattering clothes for her small, muscular body frame. Sara herself had never found much of a reason to complain, since she usually ended up getting the most colourful or visually attractive gear. Let's be honest here, she was more or less the face and the sexy image of the group, although her dancing left much to be desired and the trouble hitting notes during live performances couldn’t be unheard.

This time, she was wearing short black pants with large pockets and small white buttons on both sides, semi-opaque black tights as well as a soft orange-coloured shirt with a wider round neckline that left the right shoulder bare. Heck, she even got the stylists to agree on adding that pretty red fur stole to fit the party theme, so it was all fine…until then.

However, as she realized with a bitter aftertaste, these clothes were absolutely not suited for the Arctic temperatures she had found herself in.

“Gosh, what was that now?”

First a big flash of light coming out of nowhere, then regaining your senses just to find yourself in a completely unknown surrounding. This was definitely not her day. At first she had followed the instinctive reaction of rubbing her eyes and attributing the whole thing to a lack of sleep. It wasn’t so rare that she starting hearing or seeing things for a short moment after 10 straight hours of training.

However this was…different. The cityscape around was just as real as the rehearsal room where she had been listening to her trainer’s instructions just a minute ago. Judging from the dark billboards and shop windows, it seemed to be fairly late and her eyes were just slowly adjusting to the lack of light around her. However it was impossible to check, since the agency didn’t allow trainees to wear watches during the training hours, out of fear that they wouldn’t focus enough on their tasks.

What the hell was going on and why did everything look so…real? As if someone had just pulled her into a time-and-space machine and sent her to some random country. Of course she could just be dreaming, but then why did the pains and muscle cramps from the rehearsal feel so real?

As she tugged her hands deeper into her pockets and tried to cuddle her chin against the fur stole, she noticed a small piece of paper lying on the ground.

“Oh cool, someone thought about bringing love letters?”, she commented with a sarcastic grin.

As usual, she first pulled her mid-thigh-length shorts a bit higher and looked around in order to not give potential passengers an unexpected view. However, this was as empty as it could get, there wasn’t even a single sign of life or a stray cat roaming the streets.

She bowed down and grabbed what turned out to be a plain envelope.

((Sorry for posting in OOC but I just have to say holy crud that's ironic.))

Xero blinked a few times, getting used to the light, or rather, lack-thereof. The last thing he remembered was looking down at the almost-whole of Fang from atop the castle's tallest peak. He was trying on some fancy duds like the royal advisers suggested, but they either looked weird or felt weird. Eventually, he had enough of it. He put on his jeans, kept on just his t-shirt, and went to the castle's highest tower. And there he was, on it's roof. He always liked being on a roof. Not just for stealth reasons, but just because it made him feel like he could see the world personally, yet not really get involved in it.

Actually, that was wrong. The last thing he remembered was Terra climbing up onto the roof with him. The last thing he remembered was looking into her eyes. Then, BAM! Cityscape. Confused and alone, he looked around for any signs of life. He couldn't hear the softest of melodies, if they were there. He tried calling out Terra's name, to no avail.

He took a step forward, and heard a faint crunching sound. It was a slip of paper. He reached over, picking it up from the floor. Hopefully it explained some of this nonsense.

"Aargh..."

A suppressed scream -or rather a cough- broke through the darkness, as Sara meticulously tried to bow down to pick up the letter. Getting bossed around by the dance instructors all through the evening had definitely beard its fruits, and the cramps in her thighs and calves were the results of it.

If there was one thing she had learned during her childhood travels, it was the difference in people's attitudes and the way they dealt with pressure. Years ago, she had followed her parents through London and Tokyo among others and had often picked up some local habits, much to her family's entertainment. While the busy centres in Tokyo definitely bore some similarities to Seoul, it was the seemingly more care-free attitude of the Londoners that surprised her. Sure, things could never be very calm when you had to follow a successful businessman through the globe and even got a glance into the world of modelling, when her mother took her into the backstage space on rare occasions. One day however, some classmates were having a conversation about school systems and the astonishment when Sara brought up evening schools in Korea could be seen on their faces. Granted, it was the image of that busy, dynamic country of fancy mobile phones and hard-working people all over again; yet she couldn't help but feel relieved when the evenings didn't consist of late courses, but inviting friends and only studying with the occasional private teacher back then.

This didn't have a large influence on her attitude however and while Sara found some things strange, the "do your best and don't settle for anything less" attitude inherited by her parents had been present all through her days as a trainee. When the pressure became too much and she felt like more effort would make her faint, the usual habit was to retire into a neighboor room under a silly excuse and waiting until things cooled down a little bit.

However, this was a different kind of situation. There weren't any managers or trainers or senior members around so she could as well sob and complain openly, as she bowed down to her knees and reached for the piece of paper.

Feeling a bit numb to the ears, she took the letter and tried to whipe any dust from it with her bare hands. It was a simple white envelope with no adornments and, as she noticed with surprise, not even a stamp or address written on it.

"Secret lover?", Sara mumbled half-heartedly into the fur, as she got back on her feet.

She could barely feel her legs anymore, though the sounds of feet tapping were clearly coming from her.

They say that moving keeps you warm, she thought to herself with a bitter smile, while her shaking hands proceeded to lift the lid part and grab whatever content the envelope would hide.

(OOC: Nya, I forgot about that kind of stray cats :D
Sorry if this is dragging along and full of no-one-cares, but I'm waiting for everyone to check in before the lights go on :/)

(OOC2: Oh and if I mention fur, we're talking about fake fur of course ;D Incase some people were wondering ;))

Jericho leaned casually against the railing of the ship as it slid over the ocean under the glow of a full moon. There was no sight of land for miles, only sleek black sea with the silver moon reflecting off its surface and the pin-pricks of stars in the sky. As the ship sailed towards its ultimate goal, the Pirate's citadel, Jericho couldn't help but dream of what they'd find there; treasure, adventure, stuff to shoot. A wide smile grew across the girl's face as she watched the waves lap the edge of the boat beneath her, life couldn't get much better than this.

Suddenly the peaceful moment was interrupted, Jericho wasn't sure how, why or even what happened, all she knew was she had been almost blinded and felt as if her brain had been smashed out with a slice of lemon wrapped around a large gold brick. She staggered in place for a moment, trying to come to grips with what she'd experienced before she realized she was standing on wood anymore but on stone, the smell and sounds of the ocean where gone and replaced with...Silence. She began to look around her in amazement, finding herself in a street unlike anything she'd seen before, with buildings higher than she'd ever seen (not that she could make much out in the gloom) standing either side in a uniform state, large windows decorating the fronts. Instead of dirt on the road it was some strange, soft black stone. As she looked at the surface beneath her she noticed an envelope at her feet and stooped to pick it up, flipping it open and reading the content inside.

Her face went from puzzled to slightly confused and then amazed within the span of a minute as she read the letter several times, informing her that she had been plucked from her native dimension and put here for god knows why for some kind of celebration. Jericho figured it must be something big to drag her all the way from the ship to a whole other world entirely. Suddenly a smile broke across her face once again as she realized the possibilities suddenly presented to her; a once in a life-time opportunity to experience what nobody else had ever experienced.

"Just rip the card in half?" Xero said to himself. He was actually tempted to do so, just to see what would happen, but decided against it. After all, the card said no fighting. It didn't say no stealing. Xero then took a good look at his surroundings, or at least what he could make out of it. Many tall, dark buildings, some dimly lit street lights, the darkest road he could have imagined, all of which were of a material he could not recognize (except the street lights. They were clearly made of metal). Xero took a step forward and was greeted by an explosion of lights. The buildings suddenly became illuminated with many colorful lights. The street lamps grew bright. The road was still dark, but Xero guessed that it was supposed to be black. It looked rather sleek, actually. Even the night sky seemed to have materialized countless more stars. The aura of the entire area was pretty festive, albeit foreign. Xero could see, at the tallest building in what appeared to be the center of the city, a ball, opalescent and bright. It was stunning.

After a few moments of staring at the lights, Xero thought it was time to get a move on. He couldn't be the only person in the entire damned city. There must have been other guests. And who knows? Maybe he could even find out who this "QB" is...

((OOC: Sorry if I'm not supposed to set the lights off or if it's too early or whatnot.))

((OOC2: I don't care who meets me. Just someone: meet me. :D))

The last thing Hubris remembered was standing outside gates of Twistopia. Her friendly and welcoming permanently painted on smile would remind the visitors that they were always welcome at the beloved park she worked so hard to help maintain. She gave a polite nod or a quick giggle to every passing patron, and would freely point them in the right direction when asked.

Just as she was swallowed up by light, she was juggling 6 live hand grenades at the park entrance. As the light faded, Hubris found herself in a mostly green area, surrounded by trees and what looked like a lake a bit further away. Closer by were a bunch of buildings. Overall however, there were no people. The girl was unsure of what to do, though her face would hardly betray any of the confusion she felt. Not knowing much else, the tiny girl in the jester's outfit continued juggling, a light giggle every once in a while. It was only after about a minute or two that she realized no one was coming, no one would be there o lavish her with attention like she so desperately craved.

She gave a quiet giggle, her face not changing in the slightest throughout the whole ordeal, still appearing as an eternally happy girl but the thought of no people around was rather troubling. What good was a performer without an audience? She stopped juggling, laying down her hand gernades upon the ground.

As she placed her grenades down, she spotted a paper on the ground, and casually picked it up. She stuck it down the front of her shirt, mostly to dispose of it later as she didn't want the place to become full of litter.

She gave another quiet giggle, before her eyes spotted a change to the scenery. Bright lights came to life and one could begin to see the outline of more buildings.

Lights usually meant people. She gave a polite nod then quickly ran towards the direction of the newer lights. She scaled buildings easily and quickly, a parkour style to her travel to shave a few precious seconds off her time, easily clearing 20+ feet getting from rooftop to rooftop when needed. At last she had arrived at the scene she had seen from a distant.

The blonde haired girl survived the scene, spotting a tiger-like creature nearby. Was he her audience? Or was he her fellow performer? Hubris had been a wild lion tamer for a while, so she wasn't particularly frightened by the large cat. But she felt her presence should still be shown.

She placed a hand on her chest and with a quick 'snapping' motion, she produced another hand grenade. She looked around, not particularly wanting to destroy the scene that had been arranged for them. She pulled the pin and threw her projectile straight up, easily clearing the building. The grenade soon exploded, high in the air and causing no damage to anyone or anything, but most likely alerting others of her (and the tiger's) presence.

If there were other people here, she had to be sure she had a full audience. All the while, the expression on her face hadn't changed one bit.

((Do not die, Monsieur RP.))

Xero was running on all fours when he heard an explosion from up above. He stopped in his tracks, looked up, and saw the explosion in the air. It's fire was floating above a building, but more intriguingly, above a young girl. The girl was dressed in strange dark circuswear, lots of black and purple and painted tear drops on her face. She would look rather creepy if she wasn't too busy looking adorable. Xero guessed that she was going to perform for him and the other guests, and that the explosion was a sort of firework. Xero looked for a tree to hang out in to watch the show, but couldn't find one. This city is practically all metal, glass, and stone. As he was searching, however, Xero spotted another guest. At first glance, Xero thought he was another tigerman, but he looked too... off... to be one. Xero still decided to greet him. "HEY!" He yelled to the man, walking towards him.

Sara’s mind was still boggling as she read the mysterious letter for the second time. As it was her habit, she usually flew over the writing first and tried to puzzle the key words she grabbed to a consistent picture before actually reading it on a second run.

It was all blurry and confusing, involving pan-dimensional things and unknown messengers and whatnot. However, at the word “party”, her eyes lightened up in surprise. She liked partying – no, actually she loved joining the crowds whenever she had the time! It made her feel electrified, even after a busy day.

As she took a step forward, wondering where the party might be at, hundreds of lights exploded. Sara’s eyes first closed abruptly, blinded by the sudden change of situation. Advertisement panels and display items started popping out in bright colours and the high buildings left and right were bathed into neon lights. The ground under her feet suddenly didn’t look so troubling anymore, but revealed a rather clean path leading to a building further ahead, but that could nonetheless be seen from her position. On top of what Sara guessed to be the tallest building in the surroundings, a large disco ball greeted its visitors with its metallic shine and quite imposing presence.

The low temperatures outside made her hands cold, but it was alright. This city didn't look like one she had seen before, but being so similar to the world she came from, it couldn’t be bad.

Not at all, she thought to herself with a delicate smirk and started following the large ball on top of the building.

----------------------------

A loud explosion in the air gave the petite girl a shiver through the body. The source of it couldn't be determined yet, but judging from the powerful noise, it definitely came from nearby and sounded like...fireworks? But fireworks meant festivities, so Sara decided to follow the noise, sing-sanging her way through the long street in a mix of heat and tension.

On her way to the mysterious party, she finally spotted a human presence among the various high buildings. A tall figure with what looked like a feline mask was walking past her, barely noticing the red-haired girl, and seemed to greet someone he knew.

A few steps further, a girl was juggling in front of what seemed to be a clothing boutique. The first thing Sara noticed was the hair - she loved hairstyles - and hers was kept in two cone-like buns. She was wearing some vivid pink eyeshadow that ended with a teardrop on both cheeks, suiting the black-pink scheme and various star, checker and bell motives she wore on her body. Sara found that the creepy-cute mix fit to the slightly younger girl and, as she realized after a while, the latter definitely mastered her skills.

Sara looked around and apart from the jester girl and the feline-like man, there weren't any other guests nearby. The scene seemed very inviting, but maybe it was too early to drop the ball yet. The singer took a few steps towards the juggling girl and bowed down slightly with a polite smile.

Wondering if someone had been trying to get his attention, Alexander removed the headphones from his ears and turned to look behind him. "Oh, hello! Sorry, I was listening to some music and didn't realize...." He trailed off a bit, taking a moment to read the card that he had somehow come into possession with, then continued, "Anyways... you're... not a lombax, I presume?" He looked the stranger over, noting that he was feline-esque in his features, but did not possess any of the normal lombaxian traits (big striped ears, tuft at the end of the tail, etc.). "Just curious," he continued, collapsing his headphones before stuffing them into his pocket, "what universe do you come from?"

(OoC: u no die RP D:)

The cold was creeping up Sara's back and causing her to jump from one feet to another, as she usually did when the temperatures weren't exactly tropical anymore. She was watching the jester girl juggling with surprising ease, but it was time to move on and see what the evening had prepared for her. Actually, a little corner with more pleasant temperatures would have come well at that point.

Sara realized with pleasure that the main streets started to be filled. More people were arriving from every direction, some inspecting the scenery in delight, others with a large confusion written on their face. Soon she could also see the shiny disco ball right from below and spotted an entrance on the South side of the afore-mentioned building. The white, slightly opened door suited the rather futuristic look of the tall building and a yellow banner was hanging inches over her head. The flashing red letters were welcoming her to "the YCM pan-dimensional party", enhanced by blue, red, green and orange lights hanging from the words. But most of all: There was music coming out from inside.

Her eyes opened up in delight. One part of her would have loved to know what the letters "YCM" could stand for and who this mysterious QB was. But packaging her mind with endless questions wouldn't change anything and it's not like she cared all too much. The bass of the music made her heart beat faster and tomorrow was another day.

First the party, then we're going to deal with potential questions.

----------------------------

The inside was bathed in neon lights and abundantly decorated with various colours, motives and some accents that seemed to be cartoon elements. A garland with yellow, green and hot pink cards was hanging down on the left. Sara couldn't quite pin them down, but she was sure that she had seen those in Japan. The DJ was adjusting his tools while wearing large, round headphones and banging his head softly to the rhythm of the music on the other left end of the room.

The red-hair spotted a blue-haired young man and a girl with a purple hat and a band logo shirt walking towards a large table filled with food and drink bottles that was exposed next to the DJ right on the opposed side. The two looked as they were engaged in a lively discussion, so Sara decided not to interfere.

The few people that were already in the room seemed to be as multi-coloured as the lights set up all over the place. Some were wearing rather fancy costumes and the petite girl would have sworn that she had seen a sword somewhere.

"Such awesome style!" Sara gave a soft giggle while grabbing her hands together on chin height. After the feline man and the jester girl she had seen on the street, it didn't surprise her and she suddenly didn't feel overdressed anymore.

Whoever had arranged this had done a copious job. The countless lights were bathing every corner of the room into a bright, multi-coloured field. Beats from what sounded like standard Techno music were coming out of the numerous boxes set up high on the walls, but Sara thought it was sufficient to bring some party feeling up.

But there was one issue, the idol girl thought with a hint of sadness.

There were no people on the dancefloor...

(OoC: Ima let some YCM people make a cameo :'3)

((Catching up, must be done))

"If my universe has a name, I wouldn't know it." Xero said in a relaxed tone. He was still kind of anxious about being in some interuniversal dimension, but it he wasn't one to sweat out the details. "Although, I am from a nation called Fang." Xero then realized that his acquaintance doesn't know anything about what he's talking about. "So.... I'm guessing you are a 'Lombax', and not a beastman." Xero examined his friend once again. He could pass off as a tigerman at a glance, but no dice. Xero then noticed the strange device on the 'Lombax's' head. "What... is this?" He asked, poking at them with a claw.

""Fang", huh...?" Alexander mused to himself out loud. "Don't think I've been to a dimension with a continent by that name before...." He then noticed that the "tigerman" was gesturing to the headphones hanging around his neck. "Oh, these? I suppose your world doesn't have headphones, huh?" Alexander took another look at the tigerman's attire; making an educated guess based on knowledge of other similar dimensions that he had once traveled to, the lombax deduced that the stranger's world was not as technologically advanced--or rather, did not possess the same technologies--as other dimensions that were more "modern".

"Headphones are a device used to listen to things, like music or speeches, while not making as much noise for others to hear," Alexander told the tigerman, trying his best to explain what headphones were. "Here," he said, taking the headphones off of his own person and placing them on the tigerman's head, adjusting it so that the speakers covered the ears. Alexander had not turned off the mp3 player that the headphones were connected to, so the tigerman could immediately hear the sounds of a piano playing as soon as the speakers were placed on his ears.

The concept was simple enough, but how someone could record sound and hear it exclusively was beyond him. Xero was hesitant to let the Lombax put the headphones on his... head... but did when he could hear a familiar sound. The headphones were adjusted, and Xero could clearly hear the soul-sinking tones of small hammers hitting strings. "This is a piano." Xero said, getting excited as one would expect people from the past to be at future technologies. "I can play piano. I could probably play this..." Xero trailed off, pressing the headphones into his ears.

"Ah, so we have something in common after all!" Alexander happily replied. "I play the piano, too." It took a small pause before Alexander realized that the tigerman probably couldn't hear him with the headphones being pressed against his ears. He waved his right hand toward the tigerman, while using his left hand to lower the volume on the mp3 player a bit. "What's your name, by the way?" Alexander asked, raising his voice a bit just to be sure that his acquaintance could hear him. "My name is Alexander Abernathy. Feel free to call me "Alex", though."

The lombax caught Xero's attention by waving his hand, but Xero did not want to relinquish the headphones. He was so tempted to steal them, but he assumed this 'QB' was omnipotent, and would not like it if Xero did so. Also, it would be rude. Xero gave up holding them when the lombax lowered the volume of the music with his strange device. He handed the phones back to his friend, named Alexander. "Well, Alexander, my name is Prince Terra Graemjor Varrun Furi Track Yssere Jvaris Haemstod Desperado Ryuku Fusion Roxas Rinne Opal Josh Armadi-PFFT" Xero broke off. When he began making up names, at Desperado, he couldn't keep a straight face. His laughing settled after only a quick moment. "Seriously, though: My name is Xero. Pleasure."

Xero suddenly noticed the semi-dramatic rise of guests in the city. Not enough to even remotely make this town look full, but it was definitely not empty. "Looks like the party's about to start. More visitors are arriving." Xero then noticed that there was a crowd closing in on one of the taller buildings. One with an illuminated sign welcoming them to the YCM transdimensional party. This place likes acronyms, he thought, what with QB and YCM. He was somewhat annoyed with them. It's like QB was saying, Ooh, look at me. OMGWTFBBQ. Don't know what it stands for? What a shame.

"I'm going to go inside," Xero said to Alexander, "to see if I can meet anyone from my world. I mean, we can't be the only ones from our respective universes, can we?" Xero smiled, and took off at a reasonable pace. "Later, Alexander," he yelled, waving back. Xero was one for parties, when the time was right. And this time, it was right. Unfortunately, he did not think so soon after entering the building. The place was packed, there were weird colored lights and a strange scratchy music that (metaphorically) made his ears bleed. There was an open middle area, but it felt like Xero would be the center of attention if he stepped there. He decided to avoid it, not knowing any of these people's customs.

At one point, someone stepped on his tail. Xero yelped in pain, turned to the miscreant, and per instinct, was going to strike at him. But, bumping into so many people when he turned, he lost his balance, and fell over, onto a young woman of a small stature. When he got his bearings, he was over her, on the floor. He lifted himself off, but didn't quite get up. He was distracted by her beautiful face.

"Hi," he said, simply.

((OoC: Dat be Opal's character. I wonder how she will react when she realizes it's not a mask...))

Sara was moving her body to the beats, making wavy arm moves while walking towards the middle of the room. She wasn't exactly the most outgoing person, but when it came to celebrating, this is where any shyness left went over board. The young man with the teal blue hair and the girl with the band logo shirt had filled their plate on the buffet and were walking away towards one of the high tables set up on the far left and right, while still conversing happily. Next to them, Sara spotted a larger group of people that had just arrived and seemed involved into some secret discussion, staying only among themselves. Some of them were wearing katanas and other weapons tied on their back, while two or three were spotting very intense hair colours.

The music had become a bit more lively now. On the music table on the other side of the room, there were 2 people now who were seemingly argueing about something. The idol girl could only grasp a handful of words, "no, Metal!" and "oh no, video game music!". She couldn't help but giggle at the sight of them, one holding what looked like a CD case under an arm and defensively putting the other arm apart, the other guy attempting to take it away from him while holding his own CD case in one hand. The beats and lively melody coming out of the boxes seemed to announce that the first person had won the battle for now.

Sara had taken what looked like a semi-moonwalk back and forth, moving between her starting point and the entrance and she had almost reached the middle of the room when it suddenly happened. The idol girl had barely had the time to look up and yell in surprise before a large presence fell over on her and pulled her to the ground.

"The tiger man!"

It wasn't hard to recognize him. Now the striped face that looked exactly like the one of a tiger was barely a few inches above her own and she could feel the furry arms against her skin. First she didn't react, just starring at each other in surprise, but seconds after, she was already screaming, gesticulating and pulling him away in panic. It didn't take long until she was halfways on her feet again.

"That...face..."

For a moment, she had thought that it was a real tiger, hanging only inches over her face and ready to attack. But as she noticed the fairly...human-like clothes and the fact that she had seen him walking on two feet, a bell rang in her head.

Her fearful face changed into sheer surprise, as she quickly regained her senses again.

"Sorry... I'm so sorry", she mumbled in her broken English while bowing down several times. "Sorry sir..."

(OoC: Half-assed post because I'm logging off now. But glad that someone joined, thanks.x) And where is everyone else?x|)

Well. Xero wasn't expecting that. The girl shrieked in terror and pulled him away from her. She knocked him on his ass, and he just sat there, staring at her in shock until she finished her fit of terror. The other guests barely even noticed; the music was either too loud or they thought she was having a blast. Her terror quickly shifted through realization, shock, and then regret. She began bowing and asking him forgiveness. Xero didn't really care for an apology; he was more worried for her. "Yea... it's okay. Are you alright? What's wrong?" Xero stood and approached her again, holding a paw out.

Whenever things were getting weird and she found herself in a situation she couldn't make heads or tails of, Sara's first reaction was to grab on things that seemed familiar to her.
And this was definitely unexpected.

It wasn't really the clothing style that had put her off, as it was the case of many other guests in the room. The look of her conversation partner wasn't eactly otherwordly - he was wearing a pair of wide pants, combined with a light-coloured shirt and a belt. Yet the skin and body features were definitely the one of a...tiger?

Sara hoped that the slight shiver she gave at the thought wouldn't be noticed too much. Now she could see it clearly, as he held a paw out, which made her squirm in surprise again, and asked about her condition.

The red-hair didn't quite know where to put all of this, so after a minute or so of staring at the tiger paw she had only seen in some chidlhood documentaries, her face brightened up a bit.

"Oh...yes. I'm fine." She tried to put up a smile and responded to the hand gesture while trying as hard as possible to avoid the face of the tiger being. The vision of it being only inches away from her own face had triggered the alarm and the first thing she had thought was that she was about to be eaten up. Plus, the widely-opened eyes at the moment of the fall didn't quite help.

To her own surprise, the inner side of the paw had an incredibly smooth touch. That is, it had that smooth, pleasant feel in this particular case of a tiger walking on 2 feet and apparently holding the same social habits as a human.

Sara took a deep bow, while assuming that her conversation partner was actually older than herself. "I'm sorry that I was in the way when you fell. But I hope you're alright now."

"I think you got things the wrong way around," Xero said, with the slightest of chuckles, naive to the fact that he would probably make things worse. But he wouldn't know that, on this girl's world, tigers are non-anthropomorphic. And vicious. Because on his world, tigermen are generally considered to be very loyal companions and lovers of action and combat. But this girl wouldn't know. "I fell over you. I should be the one apologizing." Without really knowing anything, Xero bowed just as low as she did, assuming that it was a custom from her world. Xero got back up and held out his hand to shake. "My name is Xero. And yours?"
