Lord Smeagle
I have a mediocre Trap Monster deck that seems to be very good at A - stalling B - making my friends go WTF It stands to reason that adding Final Countdown to capitalize on A + murdering people with Gustaph Max Spam for extra B = PROFIT Suggestions? Monsters: (11) x3 Koitsu x3 Mother Grizzly x3 Mask of Darkness x2 Trageodia Spells: ( 3x Magic Planter 3x Soul Reversal 2x Fires of Doomsday Traps: (21) 3x Metal Reflect Slime 3x Imperial Custom 3x Tiki Curse 3x Tiki Soul 3x Zoma The Spirit 3x Magical Hats 3x Waboku Extra Deck: 3x Gustaph Max 12x generic synchroes
Uhhi222
This deck only has one word that can describe it. what.
DARKPLANT RISING
Choose from either Trap Monsters or Final Countdown, then we'd actually start talking.
The point is that a combination of Tiki Soul/Tiki Curse/Imperial Custom/Magical Hats, believe it or not, stalls like nobody's business, so I don't see why I can't Countdown. If the Trap Monsters + Gustaph don't get them, the Countdown will.
This Account is Unplayable
Monster Gate is @1. Deck idea is absolutely horrible, do what Darkplant said.

If you want to be taken seriously, and get better at this game, pick from one of the 2 themes I listed.
Lord Smeagle
Well, I was asking for help with this deck, not your deck, so thanks for nothing.
The point is that Final Countdown only ever works as a card in its own deck. In all other cases, it becomes a near-useless secondary win condition, and one win condition is nearly always better because you can focus your deck better on ding certain things. Lord Smeagle
Don't really care what the point was, he's being a condescending prick. If I wanted to get "better at the game" I would shell out for a meta-level deck and cookie-cutter-Netdeck that s*** like everyone else. For the sake of argument, let's assume I drop FC. How do I Gustaph better?

Lord Smeagle
Ah! Trageodia completely slipped my mind. Thanks! Alright, I could run Fires of Doomsday to make Trag more consistent but that seems wasteful somehow At any rate that'll give me 8 Xyz Materials for Gustaph. Also I can't Zealgigas, that'd take a total deck overhaul.
evilfusion
Why are you running Koitsu? I mean, I get the Level 10, low ATK Water with Mother Grizzly, but if you actually draw the card, it's completely useless. And you dont actually need Fires of Doomsday for Tragoedia, because it SSes itself if you take damage.
Lord Smeagle
General consensus is no Koitsu but that leaves me with only 5 Gustaphparts. What can I use that's more helpful?
