Effect: This card only gains the following effect if the player hums "Sorcerer's Apprentice" upon summoning it:
When this card is normal summoned, search your deck for a spell card and add it to your hand. When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can discard a card to remove it from play instead of sending it to the graveyard.

To be fair, when I designed these, 1) They were cards that were meant to be used in an actual set I made. I decided after making them to change the names and make them Disney spoofs. 2) They're weaker versions of cards that are already out. They're Disney picture was an afterthought of the actual card creation. Mushu is a weaker version of Slifer, and Mickey is a weaker version of DMOC.

Well Dark Magician of Chaos gets banished if removed from the field, so you should have the same apply to Mickey as well

Its interesting, but if you were planning on making Mickey more like he was in Fantasia, I would suggest that instead of the bring a magic card, have him summon "Broom Soldiers" either tokens or other cards.

yeah but the Broom Soldiers can keep multiplying themselves like in the film when Mickey chopped it up with an axe

therefore, a Brood Soldier card should have the ability to summon another one ot the field and so forth

That kind of multiplicity could present a challenge, until the opponent gets a monster that can attack all your monsters, or even negate abilities. I guess it's a valid stall tactic, assuming the Broom Tokens can be summoned in defense mode as well (because otherwise they'll just cause you to lose lifepoints as they're destroyed).

Well to fix that, I think it would be just fine to have the tokens respond at the endphase of the turn the others are destroyed. It would make sense, seeing that in the movie the Broom Soldiers ony came back after they were hacked to pieces.
