The new update can't be found by the "check for updates" button, because certain DLL files are needed. You'll have to download the zip file from the front page again. I barely seen it active as much unless it's the chatbox, tbh the chatbox is a litlte annoying tbh EDIT: Apparently the DP saying that the data is Null.
