Name: Akuma Chishio
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Allegiance: Neutral
Duelist Type: Number Hunter

Personality: On one side of the coin, Akuma is shown to have a motherly personality, but the flip side shows a darker, more brooding evil about her. It all depends on the emotions that are being shown around her at the time. But one thing remains the same: unlike the other Number Hunters, Akuma won't go round claiming other Number Cards aimlessly. She has specific Number Cards that she's after, and if the Number Holder or Hunter she's dueling turns out not to have the Number Card she's after, she won't hesitate to banish the Number Cards there to the Balian Sector. Akuma also has the same gleam in her eyes as the Number Holders who have been possessed, which she can use to fool others into thinking she's a mere Holder.
Background: Since she's become a Number Hunter, Akuma Chishio has learned to be deceptive, as she was well aware that most Number Hunters had become hated over the years, and currently works for neither side. To aid in her deception, she has gained the ability to acquire the same gleam in her eyes as those possessed by the Numbers, fooling others into thinking she was only a mere Number Holder, and has mastered the use of four different decks, on the off-chance that she felt like using a different Number. Akuma has grown a second power as well through becoming a Number Hunter: the ability to either absorb the Number Card(s) from the Holder or Hunter she has defeated, or banish the ones she doesn't want to the Balian Sector with the dismissive wave of her hand. So far, no-one has been able to access the Numbers that Akuma has banished, not even Akuma herself.

Something seemed... off with the WDC, at least as per accordance to Akuma. Perhaps it was because all the Number Cards were said to be gathered here. Whatever the case, it seemed as though there was another job for Akuma to do: absorb whatever good numbers were there and banish the remaining so that they couldn't cause any harm to the population. Naturally, she signed up and started practising... not only her dueling skills, but the arts of her deception as well. However, she remained unaware for so long that it would only be a matter time before she'd have no choice before she had to reveal herself as a Number Hunter.
Deck Type(s): Akuma currently has 2 different Decks: A Yugi-themed Deck and a Frog Deck. Both decks are designed to accommodate a Number Monster that she has at the moment.
Number(s) in Your Possession: Number 11: Big Eye, Number 14: Serpens Incantator

5 Level 2 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Number 14: Serpens Incantator" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) This card cannot be destroyed by battle unless it attacked or was attacked by another "Number" monster. This card gains the effects of any monsters whose original (printed) type is Reptile-type. (You must detach 1 Xyz Material in order to activate Flip Effects or effects that activate upon being Normal, Special, Fusion or Synchro Summoned.) You can detach 1 Xyz Material Monster from this card to take control of 1 monster on your side of the field. Then, if that monster is in face-down Defense Position, flip it face-up (Flip Effects maybe activated as if you are the controller at this time). Neither card can attack during the Battle Phase of the turn you use this effect. During the End Phase, if the targeted monster was not a Reptile-type monster, return control of that monster to your opponent. If there are no non-Reptile-type monsters on the field other than this card, while you have 2000 Life Points or less, this card gains ATK and DEF equal to double the difference.

Hopefully them cards aren't too OP'ed (the first two shouldn't be, it's just the last one that I'm concerned about).

Personality: He is kinda what you call a know it all. When dueling, he can spend minutes thinking what would be best to play, or correcting his opponents. This never got him many friends, but if he gets to a point where he can call someone a friend, he protects them like family. He tends to go over the top when dueling, making up a summoning chant for most of his cards.
Background: Leon was the typical "A" student: quiet, studious, nerdy. The only way he had to express himself was by dueling. When he came in contact with Number 2, he changed completely: he became more assertive and talkative. Upon hearing rumors about Number Hunters, he decided to enter the WDC, in order to beat every Number Hunter that destroyed cards like his. Leon can hear his Number speaking, as well as to sense other people's Number. This has helped him avoid unwanted encounters with Hunters.
Deck Type(s): Neo-Spacian, Poker Knights, Gamble, Kuriboh. (all with some customs)

3 Level 4 monsters
You can detach 3 Xyz Material from this card and banish 5 monsters from your Deck with Levels 1 through 5: destroy every other card on the field, then reveal the top card from your opponent's Deck and if it is a Level 5 or lower monster: Special Summon it to your opponent's side of the field in face-up Attack Position. It's effects are negated.

Number C2: Royal Straight Flush Joker

5 Level 4 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Number 2: Straight Joker" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) You can detach every Xyz Material from this card and banish 5 monsters from your Deck or Graveyard with Levels 8 through 12: destroy every other card on the field and on both player's hands. Then, both players draw 2 cards.

Name: Chris Cortez
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Allegiance: Good
Duelist Type: Number Hunter
Appearance: A young Hispanic man with spiky black hair forming back into a short mullet that goes down to the end of his neck, polarized sunglasses that are normally placed on his forehead, brown eyes, tan skin, a black sleeveless jacket with a grey "Screw the Rules, I Have Money" T-shirt underneath, grey, slightly-worn out jeans, black Converse shoes, and a sword with a red scabbard on his back. Overall, he looks like a younger anime version of Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park. He also has an odd futuristic Duel Runner, and his Duel Disk is a silver and gold version of Yusei's customized Duel Disk.

Personality: Chris is rather headstrong and stubborn, but his heart is in the right place, and he has a very strong moral compass, as well as a noble sense of honor and justice. He can get a bit cocky when he thinks that a duel is going his way, but he learns relatively quickly and can try to adapt and overcome. Also, he is rather polite, and, even though he is technically a Numbers Hunter, he only has 2 Numbers in his collection. However, his main flaw is that he isn't the best duelist in the world, and occasionally makes mistakes or blunders into traps. Fortunately, he isn't at Yuma's level of dueling non-expertise, but he does need help every now and then from others.
Background: Chris is not from this world. Instead, he is from what he refers to as the "Real World", an alternate reality where the events of this universe are nothing more than a semi-popular roleplaying game on a somewhat obscure Yu-Gi-Oh! fansite. He was originally a college student at Dartmouth University in Vermont, until his best friend somehow managed to teleport him all the way to a nearby universe, where he met Atsuko and joined her in her quest to find the "Key of Solomon". He has been slowly adjusting to his new life as a traveller of space and time, but has decided to take a long-deserved break here after three months of adventures. However, his peaceful siesta is about to get a rude wake-up call in the form of the WDC.
Deck Type(s): X-Saber Deck
Number(s) in Your Possession: Number 48: XX-Saber Twinbladeknight, Number 66: X-Saber Bariza, Number CC114: M-X-Sabers United (not yet unlocked)

Name: Atsuko Fudo
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Allegiance: Good
Duelist Type: Normal
Appearance: Atsuko is a total tomboy, simple as that. She has dark blue eyes, crimson hair that is pulled back with a black scrunchy, though it causes the hair to stick out like a pineapple with some strands are loose. Her body is lithe and skinny, though she doesn't have breasts yet, much to her chagrin. She wears a mixture of clothing from different famous duelists, possessing Yugi's leather collar, but red, Jaden's shoes, though with black sections, Yusei's undershirt, but with the colors reversed, Yuma's belt and deck holder, albeit gold, the Tag Force Player's jeans, but grey, and a red and black jacket that resembles Aki's Duel Runner outfit. Her Duel Disk is a red Duel Pad, though she doesn't need the D-Gazer to duel. She also wears an old golden brooch with a perfectly circular green emerald in the center that has some sort of odd symbol that faintly resembles an eclipse. The gem in the brooch is known to glow on occasion.
Personality: Rambunctious and hot-headed, Atsuko is rather impulsive and unruly, being a bit of a delinquent. However, she is a savant, being surprisingly good at dueling, and having knowledge and wisdom that a girl of her age normally wouldn't. When calm, she can easily calculate how to win duels and solve problems, but Chris' occasional ignorance will get under her nerves. She may seem like she dislikes Chris, but she actually holds a bit of begrudging respect for the sword-wielding, motorcycle-riding duelist. She also gets homesick occasionally, wishing she was back with her mother, but she uses her tough attitude as a mask for her real feelings.
Background: Atsuko claims to be the granddaughter of Yusei Fudo, which would be impossible in this universe, due to Yusei and Akiza never getting together, but since she is from an alternate reality, like Chris, such a thing could have happened. Furthermore, like her grandmother, she possesses psychic abilities, but she has to take some special medicine regularly in order to keep her powers under control. She stole her mother Itsu's time-traveling amulet, and set off to find the "Key of Solomon", an artifact that can potentially save her mother from a situation Atsuko doesn't want to talk about. She and Chris decided to take a break in this universe and relax, but the WDC has decided to interfere with their vacation...

Yay reboot!

Name: Gregory J. Kalem (Greg)
Gender: Male
Age: 13
Duelist Type: Number Holder

Appearance:
Greg has red eyes and lightly tanned skin. He stands at 4'03, with a slight build and pale orange hair that comes down to his neck. For dress, he normally wears a red shirt, with a black blazer with red trim over that, black pants with blue trim, and black sneakers with white laces. When dueling with 800 or less Life Points, the trims of his clothes begin to flicker and alternate between red, blue, and white. His D-Gazer is red with an orange frame. His Duel Disk is a red, orange, and blue-colored version of the old Battle City model.

Personality:
Gregory is normally optimistic and enthusiastic, though shy while around most people. When duelling, he usually retains his enthusiasm, though more often than not his view on his chances of winning are bleak. When playing his Number card, however, the opposite is true. He becomes arrogant and cold, often completely dismissing his opponent's skills and threats.

Background:
Since opening his first Starter Deck when he was 9, Gregory has always had his Number card. It wasn't long, though, before changes where reported during his duels. Duels his Number was involved with began making both Gregory and his opponent(s) take actual damage. While nobody died, there was a fair amount of people who had been hospitalized. Despite this, Greg has had a connection with his Number, when dueling or not. It had been his Duel Spirit since he obtained it. Even before he got it, Greg began having strange dreams. He was completely oblivious to the existence of other numbers, until he began hearing rumors of other cards that could cause damage and actually harm people, and when more rumors surfaced, claiming that these cards would appear at the World Duel Carnival, he signed up.

Deck Type: Steelswarm, Omni Fighter

Number in Your Possession:

Just asking, what's a heroic deck?

@Damage: neo spacians=combo with my E-heroes.
@Nexus: masked heroes=ditto.
The only E-Heroes Neo-Spacians use are Neos and Neos Alius, which should be fine. Manga Masked Heroes have their own support and stuff, so they can stand alone.

BTW, my app will be up later today, probably.

We should have. BTW,
Name: Sylvia “Blazey” Blaze
Gender: Female
Age: 16 (Her and Mikey are twins)
Allegiance: Good
Duelist Type: Normal Duelist
Appearance: In most ways, she looks like Elemental Hero Lady Heat. She has her hairstyle, face, and body structure look like her. Of course, she doesn’t wear her armor. He wears a white jacket, opened to reveal a red shirt, and white skinny jeans. She wears white tennis shoes with a fireball design on them. Her D-pad is red and shaped significantly like a round fireball itself, as is her D-Gazer.
Personality: Blazey is pretty hot-headed. She charges headfirst into most situations without really thinking. She can get ahead of herself most of the time. She is a feisty individual, and also can be a little demanding. She could also be classified as your typical teenage girl. She tends to get jealous as well, but she’s always paying attention during duels.
Background: Blazey and her brother Michel are twins. They’ve done everything together since they were born. They’ve dueled together, entered tournaments together, and everything else. Michel tends to be better at most things than Blazey, so her nature leads her to becoming jealous. They go to Heartland High together, and Michel surpasses her in grades and popularity. Of course, she can never stay mad at him. When the two learned about the WDC, they instantly decided that it was meant for them. She doesn’t know anything about the Numbers, but she’s heard rumors and doubts their existence. Beyond her dueling skills, she has no powers, but sometimes she has strange visions involving her heroes. In these visions, she is usually confronted by Heat or Lady Heat, but sometimes by other heroes. These visions are very uncommon, and she usually blacks out before receiving them.
Deck Type(s): Elemental HERO
Number(s) in Your Possession: None

Name: Michel “Mikey” Blaze
Gender: Male
Age: 16 (Him and Blazey are twins)
Allegiance: Good
Duelist Type: Normal Duelist
Appearance: Mikey is tall, around 5” 10’. He wears a red jacket with yellow sleeves over a white shirt with fire designs on it and red jeans. He has medium-long orange hair, the same shade as her sisters. It splits into two downward spikes when it reaches his neck. He wears the same tennis shoes as his sister. His D-pad resembles his sisters, but more ridged, as with his D-Gazer.
Personality: Mikey is not too much like his sister. He is more like a voice of reason than Blazey’s ‘head first, no judgment,” attitude. He surpasses her in most fields, including dueling, but he always tries to make her better. He picks his sister back up when she’s feeling down, and does the same for most people. He’s a really caring, kind guy. He acts like the protective older brother, even though he and Blazey are twins.
Background: Mikey and Blazey are twins. Blazey tends to get down when ever Mikey surpasses her in anything, but he always finds some way to make her feel better. He mentors her in dueling and pretty much any other subject as well. He learned about the WDC before Blazey by word of mouth, and relayed it to her as quickly as possible. They decided they had to join it and prepared instantly. The two work well as a team, but are still pretty good apart. They two go most anywhere together, but are still found apart sometimes. He, unlike his sister, believes in the Numbers and has his own theories and believes in certain rumors. He, too, occasionally recives messages from his mosters, but doesn’t black out as much as he simply zones out completely. It’s usually Heat or Lady Heat, but it is different heroes sometimes.
Deck Type(s): Elemental HERO
Number(s) in Your Possession: None
I think its necessary to post the images of the monsters I based them off.

EDIT: That's 'Mikey' as in 'Mikey Mouse'. Its not pronounced 'Mickey'.

My other claim to fame is that I have played a Mary-Sue SUCCESSFULLY before.
Multiple times.
Look of Itsu on this forum and go down.
I'm not saying I'm the best roleplayer on this forum. Far from it.
Evilfusion over on the TCG forum used to be a damned good RPer back in the day.
And I can name more names. Hydra of Clocks got his modding gig because of how good he is.
What I am saying is yes, I am good, and I've been around this forum for almost 3 years, so I know how it works.

Duelist Type: Number Holder
Appearance: Thomas is rather tall, standing at just a couple inches under 6 feet. He has short blonde hair, and bright blue eyes. He's very muscular, and generally athletic due to his martial arts training. He normally wears a plain black tank top under a blue hoodie, and simple jeans and sneakers. His D-Pad is a red version of the standard model, and his D-Gazer is red with a light blue rim. But that's just him normally. As Neo, he wears a skintight mostly white suit with blue lines running around his chest and along his limbs, and a red circle in the center. His mask is connected to it, and covers the top half of his face, excluding his eyes. The mask has two red lightning bolts going off the back, similarly to Thomas's favorite super hero, the Flash. His D-Pad as Neo is shaped like a blue lightning bolt, and it appears on his arm when he enters a duel. His D-Gazer is a tatoo-like outline that appears on his mask in a pattern the same as his normal one.
Personality: Thomas is generally one of the nicest people you could meet. He tries to help everyone who needs it, and also has a good sense of humor. He also has an obsession with superheros- so much that he becomes one. He has a very strong sense of justice, and is he thinks something is evil or wrong, it's nearly impossible to persuade him otherwise. He loves dueling, and has become very good at it. However, he normally hides his skill and only plays casually, only showing his power when he's Neo.
Background: Thomas grew up reading comic books. His parents both avid comic fans, had him hooked on them at an early age. They always told him that he should try to be as just as the heroes in the stories. Like many young boys, Thomas aspired to become a superhero himself. And there's the main difference between him and others- he actually did. Of course, he had no special powers, but he knew that the world revolved around dueling. He found that he was skilled and Duel Monsters, and realized he could use it for heroics. At age 16, he was able to get an advance ARV projector from a friend at the technological giant Yasulu Incorporated. It allowed him to don a hero suit and even prepare to duel by pushing a button. He also got a very high-tech white motorcycle he named Striker, and D-Chains (like those used by Team Satisfaction in 5Ds) that could hold people and force them to duel, and even destroy their duel disks when they lost if Thomas felt like it. With this equipment, and a lot of Tae Kwon Do training, he became the dueling superhero Neo, although of course he kept his identitiy secret. He started out slow, but eventually became somewhat known after defeating a few violent duel gangs, and stopping a bank robbery by beating up the two armed robbers.

Awhile after he became Neo, a friend of his who had little regard for rules found a strange card. After he got it, he acted like even more of a rebel then he already was- even dueling a school teacher and beating him up after he won. Thomas, as Neo, dueled him to try to get him to calm down. Then his opponent summoned the card he had found- a Number. Thomas realized that the card had possesed his friend and made him do things. Enraged, he won the duel, and took the Number. He tried to destroy it, but found himself unable to rip it in half. So he kept it, managing to control it and not fall under it's influence. So far...

After he heard about the WDC, he decided to enter as Neo for two reasons. First of all, he wanted to be better known. Second, he thought the fact that the card was a single "Number" could mean that there were more that could turn up in a big tournament, and he wanted to stop them from doing what they did to his friend.

Deck Type(s): Evols (as himself), Masked Heroes (as Neo), possibly Vision Heroes later
Number(s) in Your Possession: Number 32 - Shark Drake

Yes, I did reference Taio.

And holy crap, my bio is LONG.
