The fact that you can't Normal Summon Wight Knight severely hampers its playability; the Effect Monster protection isn't useful if your King doesn't have at least 3000 ATK. As for Lie, it's rather "winmore", since you're trading +1000 ATK for an opposing -infinite ATK. But it is a Quick-Play, so that's cool.

I had to balance it's high atk somehow and considering how easy it is for zombies to be special summoned I figured it would be alright and it can be set too. Would destroying it if it's the only zombie-type monster on the field like Malevolent would be ok?

I think the effect monster protection is always good even if your king is at 2000. It prevents your opponent from targeting King and they'll probably kill wight knight instead. If so that's another 1000 you get, also if you have both him and a lady in the wight on the field with king you have 2 monsters that can't be destroyed by battle or be effected by effect monster cards.

Lie is perfectly fine, I just don't imagine it actually being used. Not many would sacrifice 1000 or more ATK. Besides, there are other cards that can help clear the opponents field with less cost. (Lightning Vortex, for example could actually strengthen King)

I like how Knight is like the opposite of Goblin Attack Force with some surprise. Though it can't be Normal Summoned, it CAN be Flip Summoned; and even if your opponent destroys it before you can flip it, its just another +1000 ATK.
