Can I plz get some constructive feedback or comments on my first archtype?

My grammar may not be perfect, and these are not all monsters I have made for this set (these are only the "Demon Sentinel" monsters), but I just want feedback on my "Demon Sentinel" archtype. Is it a NO or a GO? And by the way, are they balanced enough? I do not own any of the images.[/b]

Once during each of your turns, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:
- Inflict 300 damage to your opponent; and if you chose this effect add 1 Dark Counter to this card.
- Increase your opponent's Life Points by 300; and if you chose this effect add 1 Light Counter to this card.
Only 1 "Demon Sentinel" monster effect can be activated during each turn, and this card's chosen effect is only activated until the End Phase of this turn, but it is still treated as an Effect Monster.

Once during each of your turns, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:
- Look at 1 face-down card your opponent controls, then return it to its original position; and if you chose this effect add 1 Dark Counter to this card.
- Show 1 card from your hand to your opponent and return it to your hand; and if you chose this effect add 1 Light Counter to this card.
Only 1 "Demon Sentinel" monster effect can be activated during each turn, and this card's chosen effect is only activated until the End Phase of this turn, but it is still treated as an Effect Monster.

Only 1 "Demon Sentinel" monster effect can be activated during each turn, and this card's chosen effect is only activated until the End Phase of this turn, but it is still treated as an Effect Monster.

- This monster gains 300 ATK; and if you chose this effect add 1 Dark Counter to this card.
- Increase the ATK of 1 "Demon Sentinel" monster on your field by 300; and if you chose this effect add 1 Light Counter to this card.
Only 1 "Demon Sentinel" monster effect can be activated during each turn, and this card's chosen effect is only activated until the End Phase of this turn, but it is still treated as an Effect Monster.

Once during each of your turns, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:
- Switch 1 monster from Defense to Attack Position on your opponent's field; and if you chose this effect add 1 Dark Counter to this card.
- Increase the DEF of 1 monster on your opponent's field by 400 until the End Phase of this turn; and if you chose this effect add 1 Light Counter to this card.
Only 1 "Demon Sentinel" monster effect can be activated during each turn, and this card's chosen effect is only activated until the End Phase of this turn, but it is still treated as an Effect Monster.

Once during each of your turns, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:
- Halve the ATK of this monster and it can attack your opponent direclty; and if you chose this effect add 1 Dark Counter to this card.
- You take damage equal to half of this monster's DEF Points; and if you chose this effect add 1 Light Counter to this card.
Only 1 "Demon Sentinel" monster effect can be activated during each turn, and this card's chosen effect is only activated until the End Phase of this turn, but it is still treated as an Effect Monster.

They're not to bad, they seem quite interesting. Might I inquire what the counters are used for? As far as I can tell from what I can see, getting Light counters is absolutely pointless as the effects just aid your opponent. So, unless there is some reasoning as to why you would actually want Light over Dark counters, it would seem that Dark is the way to go and Light is just taking up space in your effect box.

As for the Counters, they are going to be useful for Trap, Spell and Synchros. I'm going to post a few examples soon^^

Each time a monster with "Demon Sentinel" in its name activates an effect, add 1 Dark and Light Counter to this card. Remove 2 Dark Counters: From your Graveyard, choose and activate 1 "Demon Sentinel" Effect Monster's effect. Remove 2 Light Counters: Draw 2 cards and discard 1 card. Remove 3 Dark and Light Counters: Special Summon 1 Fiend-Type monster from your Graveyard. Remove 5 Dark and Light Counters: Gain 1000 Life Points and destroy this card. Once per Duel: You can decrease the Level of 1 monster in your hand or your field by 1. The selected monster cannot be Normal Summoned.

Destroy 1 monster on your field. All "Demon Sentinel" monsters can activate two effects until the End Phase of this turn, as long as they have 1 or more Light Counter(s).

All Dark Counters that are added to monsters are added to this card instead. Remove 3 Dark Counters and destroy this card: Special Summon 1 "Demon Sentinel" monter from your Graveyard. It can activate two of its effects the turn it was Summoned. If the Summoned monster does not gain 1 Dark Counter until the End Phase of the turn this card was destroyed, destroy it.

Remove 1 Light Counter from 1 of your monsters: Negate 1 attack and switch the attacking monster to Face-Up Defence Position.

1 Fiend-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Fiend-Type monsters
All Dark and Light Counters that were on the Synchro Material Monster(s) used to Synchro Summon this monster, are added to this card. Once per turn: You can choose and activate 1 of these effects:
- Choose 1 of your opponent's monsters and remove all Dark Counters from this card: The targeted monster loses 300 ATK for each Dark Counter removed.
- Remove all Light Counters: Destroy 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. If you removed Light Counters from this monster this turn, it cannot attack until the End Phase.
