Actually seeing as she took both congress and the senate she could in theory do it legally I don't know of anything that would stop it and if there was she might have done it in her first term. The problem is that she would need the supreme court in her pocket because when she got rid of the constitution they could call it unconstitutional and thus negate it, but the fact that she pretty much had her own army waiting in the wing means she probably had ways of getting past that. What I'm wondering is why other countries aren't getting involved in all this shtuff.

Okay, I wrote up the whole thing for a Code Geass RP. But, who is interested? It's sci-fi anime-esque. Any fixes? Any ideas or suggestions?

[hr]With the abolition of nobility and Areas as well as the fall of the 99th Emperor of Britannia, the Holy Britannian Empire became a much kinder and peaceful place to live. Empress Nunnally vi Britannia proved to be a compassionate monarch, unlike the tyrants of the past, but some viewed her good will as an opportunity to break free of Britannia completely. Half a year after the completion of the Zero Requiem, separatists began to act. The former Areas wished to break free completely of Britannian rule and be established as their own nations and be subject to their own rule.When their petitions were denied, they then refused compromises and turned to violent means of protest and outright rebellion. They managed to obtain Knightmare Frames and other weaponry and forcefully took over government structures and held important figures hostage.

A tall, thin, young man in his teenage years, of Oriental descent, walked into the large government building which served as the temporary residence of the Royal Family as the Palace was being rebuilt and would take at least another year. He came up to the front lobby desk and kindly asked the woman working there to allow him to see the Empress. She creased her eyebrows, puzzled. “Sir, one cannot simply ask to--” The teen’s red eyes flickered for a moment and she stopped. “Yes, my lord,” she said and she picked up the phone. The teen smiled graciously and returned his orange contact lenses onto his eyes.

Not much later, the young man found himself facing the Empress in person. Beside her was her brother, Prince Schneizel, and on the other side: the savior of the world, Zero himself. I know why the separatist organizations are acting so and I am here to help this case come to a resolution, but I request the aid of Britannia and... to reform the Black Knights.”

[hr][spoiler=Plot]For half a year, the world was at peace. The Zero Requiem was successful in directing people’s minds and hopes towards the future, to a better, more peaceful, world and focus everyone on solving problems such as world hunger and poverty rather than creating more problems with war.
But such happiness could not, would not, last. The peace within Britannia is broken again as the former areas wish to obtain independence and govern themselves. That in itself, perhaps, may not have been a terrible thing or a great problem, but Britannia caught upon more sinister and selfish workings as some wished to obtain power for themselves. They refused to separate but offered compromises instead. Those were completely denied by the separatists. What was even more strange was that some that appeared to be about to accept abruptly disappeared and were replaced by one who was not so eager.
There is a powerful organisation at work with the intent to take over the world as Lelouch had done. Their leader is called K.K. (pronounced K2), an immortal woman, completely and utterly incapable of dying, and also has the ability to grant the Geass to her subordinates.
The Empress, Nunnally vi Britannia, has called the Black Knights together, with new recruits, and they are to work under Zero to bring this threat to light and to justice. What is the Geass? It is a power which manifests in one’s eyes, taking the form of a red eye with a bird-like symbol (see below). At first, it only manifests in one eye and only shows up when the user wants to use it, but later on it shows up in both eyes and becomes permanent, one cannot turn it off.

Many Geass require eye contact to activate, looking through glass or reflecting through a mirror counts, however, looking through a video feed will not. Though, there are some which do not require eye contact such as Mao’s which is always active and Rolo’s which simply affects everyone around him.

The Geass manifests one’s wishes, such as Lelouch’s, which made anyone obey him, reflected his manipulative desire while C.C.’s (before she became immortal) reflected her desire to be loved and made everyone around her fall in love with her. Geass can do pretty much anything.[spoiler=The Code]Little is known about it, but it is what renders one completely immortal (cannot die of age, cannot be killed, limits are unknown) and unable to be affected by the Geass and allows one to grant the Geass. It also gives one a mysterious ability to induce a hallucinatory trance upon contact with a person (either direct or indirect, though not through the ground). Once one has obtained the Geass in both eyes, a person with the Code can grant that person his/her Code, but it will result in him/her dying. I will consider the possibility of a maximum of one immortal player character, but very very likely not as having the Code would be more or less godmodding, though perhaps as the RP progresses someone may obtain the Code (don’t worry, I won’t make my character get it).[/spoiler][/spoiler][hr][spoiler=Technology/Weapons]If you want pictures and/or more details, it would kill you to Google it.[hr][spoiler=Knightmares/Mechs]Okay, Mechs in Code Geass are called Knightmare Frames. The most recent mass-produced Britannian model would be the Seventh Generation Knightmare Frame called Vincent (link has specs). Everyone will get a Knightmare Frame to start, because this is how people in Code Geass generally fight. I suppose it IS possible to fight outside a mech, as Suzaku was able to dodge bullets while running straight at a Knightmare. Custom Models are also possible, they are often much, much more powerful than an ordinary one. Notable examples include Kallen’s Guren and Suzaku’s Lancelot. It shouldn’t be too much of a stretch to have a Custom, but your character has to be someone important or rich enough for the expensive manufacturing and custom designing.[/spoiler][hr][spoiler=Sakuradite Weapons]Sakuradite is a pink mineral with extremely explosive properties and it is what powers Knightmare Frames and other weapons, including the F.L.E.I.J.A. which is a massive controlled bomb which rivals a nuclear bomb. Sakuradite can also be used to shoot lasers and whatnot.[/spoiler][hr][spoiler=Shield and Float System]Shield System is simply a colored Force Field that consumes battery. Large ones have large polygonal patterns.
The Float System is some sort of unexplained anti-Gravity. It appears the same as a shield and simply allows one to defy gravity.[/spoiler][hr][spoiler=Other Weapons]There are machine guns, rockets, explosives. What else do you need? Every weapon we have today (with the exception of nuclear weapons) are in Code Geass. Radioactivity is also a weapon.[/spoiler][/spoiler][hr][spoiler=The World]I’ll write this up later... maybe even not at all, cuz it’s so long and much is irrelevant to the story. I don’t even remember everything myself. Google it. Code Geass Wikia should work. However, I am introducing another element into this RP that wasn’t mentioned in the anime. The Royal Britannian Military Academy.[hr][spoiler=Royal Britannian Military Academy]Just a military college. Learn military tactics. Learn obedience. Learn how to handle a weapon. Learn how to pilot a Knightmare Frame. Most of you will probably opt to be a student of the Academy. This will place you above ordinary soldiers, you will be sort of an elite. Students graduate at the age of 17 typically but there are always prodigies/geniuses.[/spoiler][/spoiler][hr][spoiler=Rules]All YCM Rules apply and you should know them, but I have to write them down anyway.

His hair is raven black and worn like Lelouch’s, rather long with long bangs. Despite being thin, Kongming is quite toned from relatively regular work outs.
He wears a long smooth black tuxedo top unbuttoned with very angular and pointed shoulders and a tight navy blue shirt underneath. On the shirt is the symbol of the Black Knights, in silver, a Geass Symbol with a Sword struck through the middle. He wears thin black track pants and featureless black shoes.
Personality: Jiang Kongming is cunning and ruthless, but outwardly he is very sweet, polite and kind. He is easy to get along with and actually has a sense of humor.
Biography: Jiang Kongming is actually the cousin of Empress Tianzi of the United States of China. During the reign of the High Eunuchs, the young and naive Kongming opposed them, seeing that they were the true political force in China and he wished to see them gone. The Eunuchs managed to frame him which gave them an excuse to execute him. However, the Emperor was lenient and Kongming got off with exile.
Wandering through the Areas (colonies) of Britannia, Jiang Kongming was struck by the extreme poverty and discrimination. Eventually, he met K.K., she had been seeking the world for suitable people to form a contract with and bestow the Geass upon. Thinking her a charming woman, he accepted her contract as she had phrased it as “uniting the world”.
For a long time, they worked together, doing underground deals and finding more suitable people. Many unspeakable things were done, but Kongming helped for the sake of justice.
However, it became apparent that K.K. was doing things out of her own selfish ambition to rule the world rather than for the sake of humanity and Kongming abandoned her, going to Britannia to get the power to oppose her.
Combat Ability: Jiang Kongming is a rather good Knightmare Pilot, though by no means excellent, he is easily outclassed by experts such as Zero and Kallen. He was granted a custom one which he called Guanyu. It is green and designed to look as if wearing ancient Chinese armor. Wielded with both mechanical arms is a large, extendable glaive (the polearm) with extreme cutting and piercing capabilities. On its back is a circular, halo-like Float System.
Geass: Jiang Kongming’s Geass is the power of influence and is similar to Lelouch’s. It is noticeably weaker but it can be used multiple times on the same person. The limitation is that he can only use it effectively 3 times a day, afterwards, it has little to no effect. It also doesn't last the way Lelouch's does, he cannot command someone to do something over and over after he leaves. Also, you must be able to hear his voice and look at his eyes for it to take effect. But, once he catches eye contact, you are frozen for an instant when he activates it.
Miscellaneous: Kongming has no qualms against indulging in food and drink.[/spoiler][/spoiler]

I thought so, too, but apparently Kallen's not part of them anymore, there's no point when the war was over anyway. I dunno wut is true. Well, I'm glad I posted it here for fixes.

 

Also, Lelouch was officially proclaimed dead, but it's a possible thought but... contradictorily (wow, that's actually a word) while it would be awesome if Lelouch were alive, it just would be so awesome if he didn't actually die. I purposefully phrased that confusingly, but you get the point?

 

Also, there really isn't a better Geass than the power of control. The limitations are different. It also doesn't last on people, once he leaves, it stops, so Kongming has to rely on charisma as well.

Okay so I redid the plot of the witch RP taking Rinne's suggestion of making the background more nebulous (while still giving enough details for applicants). I also added the point of Wicans (not sure whether they'll be PCs or not yet) which will be explained in the little summary. Also C4 I was planning on naming it Salem Witch Hunts.

 

 

The year is 2055 and the witch hunts have begun. In the year 2025 with the of the first woman president, Theodora Fides, comes into power winning in a landslide election against her Democratic opponent. That year also the Republican Party wins important victories effectively taking both the House of Representatives and the Senate, and on the surface this seemed to fix everything. The economy seemed to fix itself, poverty was wiped, crime decreased to zero within the year, and the death rate decreased substantially (because of course people were still dying of natural causes), America had become a Utopia. The Republican slogan became “to form a more perfect union, to form a perfect union.”  Everything seemed too good to be true… because it was.

 

The place known as once known as American no longer exists now called the Empire of the Holy Father, any who don’t conform to Christianity are murdered, the old government thrown out, and our kind hunted mercilessly by the Templars, an organization named after the medieval military organization dedicated to hunting witches. Witches were not the only ones hunted though Wicans, humans who are aware of the existence of witches and help them, are also in danger. The Templars hunt mercilessly not sparring man, woman, or child.

 

 Of course every new country needs a capital they couldn’t just leave it as Washington D.C., no the new capital is none other than Salem were the original witch trials toke place. It is not for that reason nor for religious purpose that that city was chosen, but the fact that the city of Salem had a very large witch population (had as what remains of witches either fled or were massacred by Templars). Not only that, but Salem is a huge center of witch power, the magical energies which gather there are enormous, and The Citadel, the new capital building, has artifacts dating from the beginning of witch civilization in the catacombs beneath it thankfully though the Pope nor Theodora have access to it yet. Now though the witches prepare for war, they will charge the city of Salem and either take it back and end the oppression of Pope Roland and Theodora or die trying.

I personally don't like Yugioh RPs that take place in the canon or similar world and would much prefer a fantasy or sci-fi world where they play Yugioh for life-or-death stakes rather than trophies or awards and I'm also tired of hearing of Astral or Barian World and Numbers. I could help with worldbuilding and plot ideas for something like that, I guess, but, I help host one in any way cuz I've got my hands full.

This one is set in Ancient China, during the final years of the Warring States period (Around 200 BC). Zhao Zheng, the ruler of the State of Qin, is desperate to finish off what his predecessors have failed to accomplish so far: the unification of China under one emperor. However, he was put at a serious disadvantage, with his state unable to afford to recruit the mercenary magicians of the western lands, who have the power of the Shadow Games from Eygpt. In desperation, he makes a deal with a mysterious entity known as Zhàyǔ.

 

Zhao is lent The Dragon Scion, a device that resembles the clock from the first Tomb Raider movie. It grants any non-magical user the unsurpassed power to control duel spirits and the Shadow Games. In return, Zhàyǔ states he will return to reclaim the Scion, along with the "Spirit of China". Bewildered but content with the deal, Zhao uses it's power to conquer China and crowned as Qin Shi Huangdi, Emperor of China.

 

Zhàyǔ returns, Qin plagued with old age and disease. However, drunk on the power he received, refuses to hand over the Scion. Zhàyǔ strikes down Qin for his betrayal, stating that he will not rest until he obtains both the Scion and the Spirit of China...

 

From there I'm not sure if we should remain in Ancient China and focus on the Shadow Games, or fast-forward to Modern China where we can use the familiar card game. Ideas?
