I've mixed an idea for for a Yugioh Duel School RP and Captain Earth/Yugioh RP

The city was founded by Stellar Industries a company who went from weapon manufacturing to duel monster's technology and space travel for the purpose of giving back to people for the damage that weapons like they used to manufacture have caused. One of the main contributions Geo Stellar City has given is the public stadiums where normally people can participate in Entertainment Duels and a large planetarium and one of the largest telescopes in the world.

In Geo Stellar City there are many Duel Schools where young people learn both normal and Action Duels, the biggest of which is Geo Stellar Academy or GSA where students can learn all types of dueling strategy including unusual types like Mil and Spirit monster decks. Other duel schools tend to lean towards a specific strategy or type of card like Synchro, Fusion or Xyz monsters. Duel schools do not take the place of normal educational institutes so they normally open after normal classes end, GSA is the only exception as it has both normal curriculum and dueling classes for their students.

Recently GSA has developed a new type of card known as Pendulum Monsters which is used to Pendulum Summon and have promised to release it more publicly but for the time being only members of a special course of their school can use it, in the shadows rumors of another new summoning method have also surfaced. Along with this there are many rumors and strange occurrences in the city and it will take the young students of the various duel schools to figure this out. On a brighter note the Junior Youth Championship will be coming up so students will be giving their all to try and get in and make it into the pro league.

I'm thinking of remaking my 'Princess Cronus' RP with more defined factions and such. The last one didn't go so well as the OoC was pretty inactive due to long waits for character submissions, causing the IC too have few posts as well.

The three main factions are:

Typhon Faction - to return Cronus back to his/her original glory and allow the second Titanomachy to occur once more.
Janus Faction - to protect Cronus and also prevent her from causing the second Titanomachy by guiding her.
Susanoo Faction - to destroy Cronus and prevent the Titanomachy for good.

Basically the main plot is Cronus being reborn as Saturn, a little girl with anmesia, and once she regains all her memories, she will bring forth the second Titanomachy.

The Janus faction is lead by Janus and Amaterasu. While they do want to stop the second Titanomachy, they do not wish to harm Cronus. Thus, instead of waiting for Cronus to regain her power and memories back as an ancient evil, they want to guide Cronus so that she will become a more benevolent deity and leader even after regaining her power back.

Just casing interest for a future project I've been wanting to do.

 

Nothing concrete yet, and I probably won't be doing too much work on it until Sigil and/or Reverse of the Earthbound Immortals finishes, but I have a few basic ideas already.

 

Anyway, It'd be a real robot(the genre of robot anime that most gundam series fall into, focusing on the mechs as realistic weapons of war) mecha rp, with a heavy emphasis on paying homage to real robot anime of the 1980's and 90's in the plot and setting, meaning you should expect politics, philosophy, some real science (with a good deal of justifying technobabble throw in), and outer spaaaaaaaaccceeeeeee to be in play. Possibly aliens, horrible hairstyles, and/or psychics too depending on where i want to place the concept on the Moh's Scale of Sci-Fi hardness. Might not be centered around a military cast, but its a possibility. Also lots of giant robots, obviously.

 

Would definitely need a co-host for this, someone who can administrate well and knows a decent amount about this stuff is preferred, but i'm not picky so if you think you're up to the task, be my guest.

I managed to conjure this up in a few hours. The goal of this RP is to stray away from the magic, the super powers, and the dueling on motorcycles-esque stuff etc. and go for dramatic and comedic, with it being centered for realism in America’s newest boomtown.

 

The Poor Kids Out of Wesley

 

Plot - In the not so distant future (2020-ish), Michigan’s economy completely tanked, leaving the youth of a little town named Wesley to venture off to the booming town of Rinehart in Pennsylvania. Deciding to stick together throughout all hardships, the young adults know each other as family and friends. Although, it quickly appears that they are not welcomed to the town, they brush past it, and decide to open a bar named “The Wayward Hat”. Though, the police are not fond of their new drinking establishment or their own presence, and will do anything in their power to rid the town of the newcomers, in order to keep more jobs for what might be another great depression.

The Dreams of Midland

Synopsis: The august kingdom of Midland was once the greatest in the world, owing its prosperity to the mythical Tears of the Goddess, magical gemstones that were said to bring wishes to reality. Suffering from a great drought, the neighbouring kingdoms invaded hoping to procure the legendary treasures, but as they lead their armies into Midland's capital, the gems were nowhere to be found. Blaming each other for stealing the gems, an even greater war broke out all across the continent. 10 years later, the fighting rages on with no end in sight. The drought has long ended, but the land continues to be ruined by war. The surviving members of the Midland royal family find themselves all across the continent, doing what they can to survive, when one night, they are all gathered together in a dream. Each night from then on, they find themselves reunited in Whitegold Palace, their lost home, and vow to each other to one day restore Midland to its former glory so that they can meet again like this in real life. Unique in execution, the majority of each IC post will take place in their dreams where they can recount the experiences of their day or otherwise interact with one another, and focuses on character development as well as a grand-scale Game of Thrones style plot.
Setting: A Game of Thrones/Berserk-esque fantasy world.

Gonna be doing my own Grand Crossover RP of sorts, in that I'll be doing a Super Robot Wars rp. Hi again.  Looking to start a scratch rp, with a different flavor to it.  My ideas are thus:

 

• The main antagonist, "Dream That", has stumbled upon a source of magic power from his fictional world, and into the world of the living.  His goal is to lead a new world order, but he feels glum and downhearted about chasing this.  As such, he has gathered an audience.  He's a bit off his rocker, but most of the time, riddled with glee.  In accordance to his own way, he has set a series of "stages", much like in a play.  The starting locating will be Uganda, and each Act of the play will take place in a different location.  He will also be streaming the events of the play, it's "actors", and it's accidental participants to the world.  Oh and uh, when I said he had set stages, he literally has set stages up.  I'll cover details if I can get this off the ground.  And if you're wondering, "Dream That" is his name.
• Among his legion of henchmen are his four "children", each with unique abilities.  They will play out Act closers, and often be an obstacle of the protagonists.  That being said, they won't be the only threat.
• I've intended for there to be unique characters for players, and expect "super powers" or "magics" or what have you, to be used.  My intended theme for the role-play is fantasy / horror / psychological / action.
• I intend to use some real life events and persons of history for reference and plot, so I'm hoping that will hype this up a bit.

That's the gist of it.  I already have locations picked for each Act that I don't want to spoil, and stages will be revealed upon players traversing to the next Act.  I'm hoping to create maps so that players will have a better idea of the stage instead of relying on the physical world map of these real time locations.  To simplify, real life locations will be used ONLY TO SET UP THE STAGE.  THE ACT BEGINNING WILL TAKE PLAYERS TO A FICTIONAL WORLD INSIDE THESE REAL WORLD LOCATIONS.

 

Character creation will look something like this:

 

Character Standards (name, background (up to recent history), age, weapons, powers, & equipment, allegiance).
