As Kazuya flew through the air from the blows he received he kept his grip on his dagger tight, as his back collided with the other he flung his free arm out, touching the ground with it and pushing himself into a position similar to a very unorthodox crouch, watching Michael charge the ball of magic and appear in front of them with it in his hands. Kazuya's eyes quickly flicked left and right confirming the others' proximity to him before he pushed himself forwards slightly, "move" he then said quietly to the others, pulling the arm holding his dagger closer to Michael's hand in an attempt to make him flinch before noticing Michael's hand launched away by what appeared to be a playing card. As another magic Kazuya hadn't seen enough of to make any sort of identification of struck Michael in the face.

As Kazuya saw the opening in Michael's failed attack Kazuya brought his dagger up near the male's throat, not close enough for him to feel but close enough for the gesture to make Kazuya's intention seem lethal. "get him now.." he said quietly to the others as his red eye and his near golden eye looked into Michael's, Kazuya's rage he held towards Michael clearly able to be seen on his face though his voice had returned to sounding detached, Kazuya's hand seeming to shake very slightly for a second as he held himself back, forcing himself to not try to cut Michael. "Good thing this isn't my hand isn't it.. it means my law won't stop it" he then said glaring at Michael as he awaited the other two recruits who were with him to attack the male, Kazuya not wanting to hold Michael at such a position on the other side of his dagger for long, feeling the guild master likely to punish him for it along with making any chances of safety whilst Michael stayed near the guild much slimmer and seeing as he was part of the family who made the guild Kazuya didn't believe he would disappear somewhere all too soon.

The shadow of a grin crossed Luna's face as she approached Michael black lightning shrouding her fist as she drove it forwards, even without her stave there was no way she could miss this. As her fist was about to connect, however, something stranger began to happen as Michael vanished from sight.

"Wait, what the f-" Luna stumbled forwards, having to dodge Dune's attacks as she did so "Watch it retard!"

She turned about and spotted Michael at the other end of the room next to Kazuya, before knocking Kazuya so hard he flew the entire distance between them and knocking Luna aside, causing her to curse loudly once again. She got to her feet again, black sparks spewing from the corners of both eyes as she fought to keep her abilities and temper under control with little success. As she did so Michael appeared in front of them once again, preparing to take them all out with one hit. Luna braced herself, she wouldn't be able to use her defensive abilities in time and she wasn't even sure they'd be able to defend against a mage this powerful. Luck struck however as a playing card flew seemingly from nowhere and knocked Michael's aim off, causing the attack to miss completely before something else struck him in the face. Luna didn't have much time to work out what just happened as Kazuya went to hold Michael in place.

Her expression darkened as she channelled her abilities into both hands, her black lightning curving about her arms as she did so. She held her arms up facing Michael, mere inches from his face, even she couldn't miss at this distance. She held them there for a split second, savouring the moment before letting her powers loose and shooting two bolts straight at Michael's face.

Dune did his best to move the momentum of his whip in a different direction to avoid Luna as Michael teleported away. But it still shot at her and she had to duck away from it. He retracted it and let the balls fly around him once more. After taking out the symmetry guy Michael teleported right in front of them. He had also charged his attack stronger.
"Sh*t!" cried Dune. He didn't have time to get out of range. Michael was launching an attack. He raised a Quicksteel shield to supplement the spheres spinning around him, but he knew that he could not block it. But Michael's aim veered to far off and he was put off balance by an attack that seemed to have come from nowhere. Dune's quick reactions spared no time in gathering a supercharged hurricane of the spheres in his hand and it came smashing down on Michael as Luna's lightning struck.

Park stared at Simon and Chris, for a few seconds watching, to see if they were actually serious, when Henry charged his attack, she decided it would be okay for her to do the same. Fine, was all she said as several light butterflies surrounded Simon's face, attached by small threads to Parks fingers. Park toke her knife out of her thigh bracelet and cut each thread and quick decisive motion, which would have normally caused them to explode in Simon's face, but instead they exploded in Micheal's face. Park looked at the two brothers in surprise as she noticed both her and Henry's attacks on the screen connect with Micheal's face, and then the rest of the recruits launch a counterattack at him. Well that was interesting to say the least, now you must tell me how you knew that our magic would not hurt you, and why you seem to be unaware of your brother's teleportation ability. Then Park noticed Kazuya's knife at Micheals throat, and with the look on his face she could tell he has the intent to kill. Umm... sirs you may have a problem.

Simon couldn't hide his elation as he watched Michael proceed to get plummeted by a series of overtly powerful attacks. Though this was probably the most limiting handicap any of the three brothers ever had to deal with in a fight it was still just a pleasing sight. Also the new recruits were proving to be quite powerful: Henry's card being able to divert the Turn Back This Darkness, Park's butterfly light show, Kazuya's murderous intent, Luna's black lightning, and Dune's use of super magnetic hyper metal all just very good displays. He was so busy being ecstatic that he actually forgot to register Park's questions. But then he remembered what she asked. Oh we knew he could teleport all along and he should know very well about that little trick we pulled, but we didn't think he would use such a hyper technicality in a fight his malicious grin widened. And I think it'll take him a second to realize that we helped you all out in this fight. He then noticed the symmetrical boy with the blade at Michael's throat both him and Chris chuckled at each other because none of the new recruits could understand how frivolous that action was but the murderous intent behind it was quite adorable.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Talon was simply overwhelmed with joy as his new children were doing so well in combat against someone who was so vastly their superior. Even with the handicap Michael should've been able to defeat mages of their estimated power level with little effort, hence the handicap. Though something very different was happening, these kids were actually cornering him. He was about laugh maniacally when his son was about to get hit with that pincer attack, but then his blood relative surprised him with a teleportation move. OH, that's shameless of you my boy. He said with a slight chuckle though he was confident no one could hear him. His son then quickly gained the advantage again but that was to be expected teleporting might as well have been like cheating. Talon stroked his chin curiously as his son unleashed a signature technique that would sure kill the new mages. But out from the brinks of space Talon's eyes widened as the playing card and light butterflies attacked Michael, then he almost rolled on the floor laughing when the other mages followed through with their own attacks. He was banging on the table laughing as his son was getting hit by wave after wave of attacks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Michael was simply flabbergasted as he was literally shot down in a matter of seconds. The smoke cleared from Luna and Parks, unfortunately Michael was still standing. Surely there was a litany of metal spheres just embedded in his body and there was a playing card just stuck in his hand and his blood was simply spilling on the floor from his hand and face. He even coughed up a little blood and as he wiped it away he could only do one thing. He snickered in his typical insane and manic manner. He then looked at the kids with his eye twitching and he had made the executive decision inside his head that he should simply kill them all regardless of handicap. Die....he said at a whisper barely noticeable to all in the area and with that one drop of blood fell from his face and it landed in the pool of blood. This created ripples and those ripples spread outside the puddle of blood and everyone within this judgement zone could see the floor turn into what would be the emptiness of space. The floor beneath, Luna, Dune, and Kazuya was now just a possible radius for Michael's attacks. As the new recruits witnessed this development they were all ensnared by chains. This was simply going to keep them in place as no matter what they did these chains weren't getting loose by people of their skill level. Michael looked at his prey and he simply on thought of their bodies or their soon to be lack of bodies. It was then an that army of what would be know as spiked chains came from behind Michael and launched at the kids but once again death was imminent.

ACHOO!!! Talon let out a mighty sneeze coincidentally a massive bolt of black lightning struck all of the chains that were coming down on the kids and needless to say there were no more chains. Of course this snapped Michael out of his psychotic bloodlust and he realized what he had done. He went against the words of his father and that never ended well. Michael could only look on as his father "sneezed" once more and this time the black lightning shattered the floor Michael had created freeing the recruits from their imprisonment. Achoo! Achoo! Achoo! Black bolts of lightning crashed down upon Michael as he fell to the ground lifeless. Whoo I must be coming down with something Talon said comically from the side of the room wondering if the little whipper snappers could fully hear him. He walked into the battle area and Judgement zone and as he proceeded to walk he already broke rule #2 so he was immediately encased in the white punishment sphere. Naturally he kept walking and didn't even register the effect of the Judgment magic in fact his eyes twitched because he thought the whiteness was him going blind due to his age. He stopped in front of the now freed kids and so did the punishment. Hmm maybe this whole aging thing comes in and out like sparks or something.

Well that was a good fight children, I now think you can last more than ten seconds against him if I didn't cripple him so much, you deserve much praise! It was at this moment Michael rose up from the crater his father created and his face was clearly that of bitterness and blood. While he couldn't form words to insult the victorious noobs he was able to glare at them pretty intently. Talon only looked and shrugged the fight was over, but the kids probably didn't understand all of Michael's abilities so a explanation was in order. Well would you like to do the honors...Simon. Just then Simon appeared carrying Park in his arms in the same manner of teleportation that Michael used as did Chris with Henry. Gladly father he said as he scowled at Michael. It was then that Michael actually put two and two together and realized where that card and light show came from. It was you two! You did that! Well, yeah don't tell us you just figured that out. It doesn't matter you started this anyway by using house magic against guildmates. He never said I couldn't you old piece of wormstool! Its house magic available to everyone so we just balanced the odds. You know when they leave this house we'll finish this. Like the last 27 times right? Glares and murderous auras were shooting back and forth between the two brothers.

Anyway Chris interjected as he was clearly going to be the one to explain everything. He let Henry down on the floor gently and he took off the top half of his robe and revealed his perfectly chiseled 8-pack abs but over his chest was a tattoo. This is the symbol and mark of the guild, not the most friendly image ever but still this how we are represented. All members of this guild have this mark on them somewhere and with it comes certain benefits well at least while you're in this house. First when you're in this house you cannot die, well of anything other than old age that is. Second this house is your home you can willfully go anywhere you like inside it with just a thought. Talon explained. Yeah we originally hooked up this magic because the bathrooms are not as close to the dining room or bedrooms as you would like especially when father is cooking. Its called colon cleansing, you should learn to appreciate it. The attacks we made disappear are also a version of this teleporting magic inside the house and the only thing we really use it for is mail...and the occasional game of "death and seek." Its quite fun unless dad gets in on the action. Undisputed champ four years running. These magic would've been available to you too but you weren't given a mark yet and I guess our brother took advantage of that fact.

However you all did splendid considering the circumstances and it is my pleasure to give all of you the mark of Chimera Soul. Talon's finger glowed and the mark appeared on various parts of the new recruits body but it didn't necessarily take the form of a tattoo like it did on Chris. Henry's appeared in the form of a ring with symbol embroidered on it. The magic I use for this symbol reacts to the person aesthetics that way if you are a morally opposed to tattoos it doesn't force anything upon you. Its not that Henry was against tattoos its just that the topic never came up when he was with his family. So he didn't have a real place for it. His personal aesthetic was for this one ring his father always wore it made him seem so cool in Henry's eyes so naturally this was the emotion and memory that fueled the tattoo magic. As the ring was formed on his finger the symbol on it glowed and all of the damage on Henry's body was healing and restoring itself to normal. Soon he was back to his happy normal dancing around self and he couldn't even hide his elation. THIS IS TOO EPIC! he screamed in glee.

While the light of Chimera Soul was welcoming its newest members Simon and Michael stopped launching death stares at each other to bare witness to this sight. Simon smiled like a proud parent, Chris nodded in approval, Michael still bitter scoffed, but all three of them said at the same time (different tones mind you) Welcome to the Family.

Luna couldn't help but grin as her attack met its target along with those of her companions. However it was soon wiped off her face as Michael emerged from the assault still standing, though admitely a lot worse for ware. Luna quickly retreated a short distance back, smart enough not to stay within arms reach of the now severly pissed off mage. She didn't manage to get very far though as chains suddenly sprung from nowhere to wrap around her legs, anchoring her in place.

"What the crap!?" She yelled, distinctly remembering that Michael had been forbidden to use his chains "You f*cking hax!"

As Michael prepared to attack them however a bold of black lightning struck his chains, obliterating them and taking Luna completely by surprise, that definitely hadn't been her. Her gaze moved over to Talon Bane as he apparently began sneezing, black lightning striking every time he did so and breaking the chains binding Luna and the others in place as well as practicaly driving Michael into the floor. Luna looked at the beaten up form on the floor and then back to the guild master, making a mental note to not piss him off...Ever.

She remained silent as Talon walked towards them, congratulating them on their performance and not even noticing the effects if Kazuya's magic as he accidentally set it off. Michael seemed to be on the opposite end of the spectrum, his expression looking ready to kill them as he got up from his little Michael shaped hole in the floor. It was then that the other two brothers appeared and began explaining about the 'house magic' that Michael had apparently been using to teleport around. She gave the tatoo on Chris' chest an mildly interested look before Talon granted them their own.

Luna felt a slightly tingling sensation on her upper left arm and rolled her glove down to examine the mark now decorating it, she already had 2 other markings on her face and back as a result of her own abilities so having a third didn't really bother her. She examined it for a moment or so before rolling the sleeve back up, hiding the mark beneath the black fabric.

"Yeah, a disfunctional family," she muttered under her breath, though it was still miles better than her own.

Kazuya watched as the others attacks struck Michael, the smoke caused by which clearing a few seconds later to revel that their opponent was still standing, though as he noticed the pool of blood Kazuya wondered why Michael had laughed, wondering if such wouldn't impair him. Kazuya's hatred towards Michael clearly noticeable as the latter quietly said 'Die', this directed towards him and the others with him as the floor seemed to disappear, into an emptiness of space below them from which chains appeared, these chains wrapping around Kazuya who had then attempted to throw the dagger at Michael, his hand caught by the chains which restrained him before he could release the weapon from his grip.

Kazuya had then noticed the mass of spiked chains moving towards them, feeling as if the main might truly be going to attempt to end their lives before he heard a loud sneeze, a lightning bolt of black magic having destroyed the chains before another sneeze was heard and another bolt hit, these continuing a further three times as on the second occurrence they broke the space holding the recruits prisoner and on the final three they struck Michael. Kazuya then noticed the guild master saying something before he began to walk towards them, the Judgement magic not restraining him to the spot, a feat which it had yet to fail with those affected, a sign of the man's power. Kazuya then began to write in the air forming the word 'unbind' before the golden laws he made dissipated the magic no longer in effect as Kazuya sheathed his dagger.

He then watched as the other brothers appeared, this causing a relatively short argument between them and Michael before one of the brothers removed part of his robes, revealing a tattoo that was the sign of the guild. Kazuya listened as both Chris and Talon, the guild master, explained the house magic the Tattoo granted members of the guild within the household, he then watched as Talon's finger began to glow as he bestowed the recruits with the symbol of Chimera Soul, Kazuya's appearing in mirrored duplicates as tattoos on the back of each of his hands, Removing his gloves slightly to examine them before placing them back on properly. As the three brothers welcomed the recruits to the family, Kazuya at this time replacing his eye patch which he took off earlier, his natural almost golden eye once again hidden away with only the red contact lens one visible. As Kazuya placed his eye patch back on he seemed to have calmed considerably, though still glancing around the room as if the lack of a pattern to the destruction the battle had left in it's wake still annoyed him, the hatred he showed towards Michael previously gone from his face as he faed the brothers who had just seconds ago welcomed him into the family.

Park had been teleported again to the room where the fight was going on, at least the fight had been going on. Micheal was now part of the floor, which Park raised an eyebrow to. It was then that Micheal rose from the hole in the floor, and started bickering with his brothers, and Park rubbed her brow what the hell did I get myself into, after the bickering had finished Chris, while taking off his shirt, began to describe the house magic, interesting was Park's only thought on this. Talon said something about being the champion of something four years running, and Park thought about how closely he resembled her grandfather, in personality anyway, but Park had tuned him out, and was paying attention to Chris's explanation, so she hardly noticed the symbol of Chimera Soul place itself on her back. She only noticed it when Henry screamed out in glee, and Park looked for where her tattoo might be. After getting a glimpse at the top half of it on her back she turned to Henry and thought what is wrong with this child, he is acting like he's two. Finally the brothers welcomed Park and her guildmates to Chimera Soul.

Noticing that all the guild mates have acquired their new markings or symbols Talon stroked his chin and looked at his five new potentials. Well seeing as its still early morning I guess you all should start earning your pay around here. So time for some more explanations. As you came into the house you would notice that there were two boards Chris started to explain but he was interrupted. Ah shut up this is my job right asked Michael coming from behind Chris? Look those two boards are this guild's mission boards and it is my job to make sure everyone gets their fair share of work. You gimps are clearly the gimps and those missions shouldn't be that difficult for you, then again I'm pretty sure the five of you combined couldn't get a cat out of a tree. Simon slaps Michael across the head. Ouch you dick! Anyway we are the pimps and those nicely labeled and laminated missions are for us three don't try them because you will die and I will laugh.

Hmmm I guess we could teleport to the two boards but we can teach you to appropriately use that magic later. For now let's just bring them to you. Talon stuck out his hand and what looked like three seemingly floated in front of the children. So kids, here are three jobs that you all should be good enough for. Just know the basics the more reward money the tougher it is and you'll all be going on the same mission till further notice. So you all have to agree on which one you will do.

[spoiler: Floating missions]

Now choose wisely Talon said laughing slightly.

Dune grinned with satisfaction as his attack fully connected with Michael. He marvelled at Michael's power and resilience, most people would have been pretty much smashed to pieces, their bodies imploded with the massive external force applied, much less still standing. Dune growled as the chains appeared. "You cheat..." No matter how hard Dune struggled, he couldn't move the chains one inch, much less break free of them. Black lightning struck and broke him free as well as crushing Michael and creating a massive crater. He looked suspiciously at his Guild Master. This man just crushed a monster that all of them couldn't even knock down with complete ease.
Dune nodded to himself as the teleportation was explained, he had detected extra magical residue and increased amount of Eternano all over the house. The Guild Master and his sons spoke more. Dune looked down in pleasant surprise at the sudden appearance of the tattoo on his chest, over his heart. It was partially visible, half of it was covered by his vest.
The mission boards appeared. He was disappointed he wasn't allowed to try the S-Rank missions. But seeing his deficiency against Michael, he supposed he should get much stronger before that. However, there was the consolation in the "Survivor" mission, he ignored the other, deeming it not worth his time, though the thieves were right in town, and perhaps he could stop them on the way out. The "Survivor" mission did have quite a nice reward, 2,000,000 (apparently approx. 20,000 USD), as well as a rare item. Dune liked a challenge and definitely wanted to try this one. "So... what is this rare item?"

Kazuya stood quietly as they explained about the guild boards, ignoring the majority of Michael's explanation as it was insults, finding out that the bvoard he had been organizing the one labeled 'gimps' was meant to be for them. As Talon teleported three pages showing missions Kazuya looked at each feeling the first a simple task much below the standard of the mages inside the room with him, the mission being one that they could complete on their way out. Kazuya then noticed the highest priced mission being a rare item with the tile 'Survivor' reading what he coulod of it he decided that woulod be the main one to do, both to extend knowledge of the guild to others and get them more missions along with allowing himself to test his abilities, the other mages in the room with him however seemed to all have abilities that were completely offense or atleast aggressively orientated where as his judgement without the punishments would not be an act of aggression but rather placing terms on people movements, however if accepted as such by others he had very little clue of.

"Could we not handle the lowest of these missions on our way out of town to one of the other two whichever we decide to do, would give us a bit of money we could use to get stuff that would help in our mission or to get through areas easier, money is something that speaks to people" he then said quietly just before Dune asked about the rare item. "The rare item does seem like it would be interesting, do we have anything else about the mission?" he asked having extracted the basics of it from his read through of the mission apparently one to save some politician's daughter from another country without instigating a war, a task which if his laws were accepted as not being aggressive could prove simple if planned out right.

Michael annoyed at the two boys and their constant barrage of questions hem and hawed loudly before getting another glare from his older brother. Look brats the most expensive is time sensitive, this land and the land of Roodpart are seemingly at war and there are armies amassing. More importantly all guild of Fiore received this mission so that prize money is up for grabs. Priorities are a little backwards there aren't they Simon stepped in and continued. If you choose the most lucrative mission we'll be flying you there immediately as in there will be no time do other missions. Second the Survivor mission as its called is all about executing a plan which I will be reporting and guiding along the entire way. As for the rare item we don't know what it is. It could be something to help the guild out or it could be something that will kill you on contact. Ugh anyway you only get payment after the service is done you don't get anything if you don't complete the mission. Also don't worry from the looks of it these other two missions are an ongoing event so they most likely will still be here when if...you return.

~~~~~~~~~~
Henry was thrilled looking at his new missions it was proof that he was finally in a guild and now he can work for the guild. Though as he listen to the other to boys ask questions he wondered just exactly would have to be done. Well if we don't know what we're getting I guess that just makes it all the more fun and it can't be that dangerous otherwise it would have been a mission that you three would have to do. So I say let's go it. With all of us here and with all of our many talents this should be fun. We'll probably be able to to do the other two missions on our way back from this one. I guess long story short I pick Survivor! Henry pointed to the shiny floating "Survivor" option with a big smile on his face.
Dune grinned. "Sometimes, I like competition. Besides, if we complete this mission before other guilds, we'll be making a name for ourselves. I agree with the guy with the weird hat. I wanna go on this mission and I'll do the other two on the way back. Who's with me?" he said, looking around at his guild mates. He had made a slight name for himself in the country he was in before he came to Fiore, he was hoping this time to broadcast his presence to everyone around. "If every guild received this mission, that means the big shots Sabertooth and Lamia Scale are out for the prize as well, right?" He had considered those guilds before deciding on this one, hearing of their power. But Dune didn't want to be just another strong wizard in a strong guild, or even a particularly strong wizard in an already strong guild, he decided that helping a guild become famous would be better.
Luna examined the missions briefs with obvious skepticism, her expression remaining perfectly unimpressed as she read through all three, though her gaze did linger a moment on the aparent 'rare item' which the brothers soon explained meant that other guilds had also recieved it and where likely to accept it as well. She paid no attention to the discussion between the others, unless you counted rolling her eyes at their enthusiasm.
"Fine, whatever," she sighed "Let's dive into the risky, dangerous and incredibly delicate situation with absolutely no care in the world, no idea of what we're doing and no backup plan in the very likely event that you all bugger everything up."
Luna might be stubborn and moody but she wasn't stupid, the mission already seemed delicate enough without the added possibility of other guilds barging in halfway through.
"I'm going to assume you actually have a plan," she addressed the brother called Simon "Because I highly doubt these idiots have enough brains to think of one themselves."
Kazuya heard about the highest priced mission being time sensitive, also that Simon had said we would be executing a plan he had though of finding the question soon after from Luna to show that she didnt hear that part of his segment of the conversation. Kazuya had noticed two others havbing chosen the Survivor mission before Luna had started to talk, the male who sat next to him and the one who had the small metal balls he used for his magic. "Before calling us idiots you should notice that you missed him telling us we would be executing a plan which he would report to and guide us through on the way, perhaps you are the lesser one here rather than us" he then said quietly. A detachment from emotion able to be heard in his voice despite how soft it was, only being loud enough that the female would just be able to hear it enough to make out the words.
"I choose the Surivivor mission, and seeing as without the punishment side my judgement magic is mostly passive it should be seen as such rather than an act of aggression shouldn't it? which would make this much easier, or would they just use it as an excuse to start their war?" he then said quietly stating the mission he had chosen siding with the other two for a total of 3/5 votes for the survivor mission and voicing his thoughts about capability of using his powers to help resolve the mission. Kazuya then moved his eye patch around seeming to be placing it in a certain position so that his hair on his fring that hung over his face would hide most of it from the sight of others.
Actually, your still idiots. I agree with the dark user, we are rushing very recklessly into a very sensitive situation. I can tell you why your idiots to because, this is something that requires stealth, and I don't know about you but for me black lightning and giant floating balls aren't exactly stealthy. We to subtle, the smalledt changes could get us caught. Plus we are talking about a bunch of barbarians who are looking for an excuse to start a war. We need to stay out of sight and out of mind, but I'm assuming all of what I'm saying here doesn't matter anyway as majority rules, just thought I'd give my two cents. Having given her opinion Park moved to chair and sat down, hoping that maybe they could come up with a better plan.
In the middle of the debate, the doors to the hall burst open, revealing the silhouette of a massive man in the sunlight. As he stepped through the doorway and his features became clear, a few of them stuck out. For one, the tall, tapering, orange mohawk that sat above the upside-down bright blue sunglasses. Another was the cocky smirk he wore on his face as though the world was a deer in the headlights of his life's road. He wore nearly nothing on his upper body, save some criss-crossing white suspenders with a compoundeye emblem with a pupil made of runes at their intersection and a belt that matched. His lower body was donned by gladiator-era sandals and navy shorts that went just past his knees with a green cape-like garment wrapped around the upper extreme of the shorts. He carried a large weapon in his right hand but leaned it against his shoulder.
After his entrance, the conversation had stopped as they had all watched him saunter over to the group. Upon arriving, he looked to the two boards and quickly checked up and down on everyone already there before asking, This is the guild, right? Chimera Soul? ...The name's Le'Crux.
Luna turned to glare at the boy, black sparks dancing dangerously about her eyes as her expression darkened.
"You want me to jam that eyepatch up your a******, retard?" She retorted.
Further unsults where halted however as the doors to the dining hall burst open, drawing Luna's attention away from Kazuya and towards this new person, and what a sight he was. Luna's rage subsided as she observed the insanely dressed individual as he crossed the room like the owned the world before finally introducing himself. She examined the newcomer a moment longer, a look of utter disgust across her pale face.
"Who ordered the stripper?" she spoke loud enough for everybody else to hear her and quickly glancing at Michael.
Is that your way of asking me for a lap dance? Hate to break your heart, Little Miss Charming, but you couldn't afford me. Le'Crux glared at the girl who made the attempted insult before shrugging off her animosity. He returned his gaze to the older looking members of the group and repeated his question Will somebody tell me if this is Chimera Soul or not? Le'Crux tried to hide it, but he did not appreciate the girl poking fun at his native dress. However, he had a reason for carrying the green hawaiian shirt around his waist. In an effort at what some would call appeasement, he undid it from his waist and put it on. However, in order to continue feeling the air on his skin he did not button it up, electing to leave it open down the middle of his rotund torso.
Dune sort of sat back from the conversation. He was thinking of what Luna said. He had, in fact, thought of it, his magic could be used stealthily, but still aggressive. The condensed magnetic power in each sphere could easily knock someone out without a ruckus, but, of course, a knocked out person would be found, or if concealed, the missing person would be reported and be highly suspicious. The only possibility for non-aggressive magic he had was the Magnet Bullseye, which would allow his spheres to follow it, he could design it so that it wouldn't actually allow the sphere to hit the target and Dune could track his spheres. It could be used to track down agents of the abductors. But no other possible magic came to mind. He supposed that he would just be extra muscle on this trip.
"So do we know where she is being held? Any clues to her location? The identity of her abductors? Anything?" he asked Simon. "If we have her location, we could just go take out the kidnappers while disguising as agents of another country or something like that and sweep her out of there."
Right then, the door burst open and a big man walked in, asking if this was the guild, Chimera Soul. Le'Crux, he said his name was. Luna shot an insult, Dune supposed it was second nature to the girl, and the man simply shrugged it aside. "More like bounced it off his mass of flesh," thought Dune, observing the man's big frame. "Ha, he would crush her if he tried lap dancing." Dune spoke up, responding to Le'Crux's question. "Great navigation skills, big guy. Yes, this is Chimera Soul. A latecomer, hm?" After he finished speaking, he, without warning, shot one of his small metal spheres straight at the big guy's face and stopping it half an inch in front, testing the newcomer.
(OoC: testing to see if the guy would flinch, block or be fast enough to move out of the way... or i suppose maybe ur guy can detect/sense Dune's intent)
Park was examining Luna, and was taking bets in her head whether Luna would attack Kazuya, and who would win when the man known as Le' Crux walked in. Park watched him intently as Luna made her comment about strippers, and Dune through his ball in Le' Crux's face. Are you dimwitted Mr. Le' Crux Park said his name like it was a bad taste in her mouth then again you don't even deserve the title of Mr. so would you like to inform us with that unintelligible mouth of yours why you are here, because if you are here to join the guild, well let's just say I would enjoy watching you in a fight. Let's just start at the beginning of why I already dislike you. Number one you are an arrogant fool, which is obvious by your disgustingly large muscles, and the blatantly rude way you just barraged into this house. Number two is your disgusting aforementioned muscles, which show that you obviously have superiority complex, because you obviously need to have those large things to feel better than the rest of us. Either that or you just like working out. Number Three you insulted Miss Luna by saying she couldn't afford you, and well if you were a stripper you would not be desirable one as you would probably crush who ever you did a lap dance for and secondly as far as I'm concerned you are worth dirt. With that Park sent her knife flying behind the boy's head, and wedged it into the wall.
Le'Crux was relieved someone finally answered his question. The boy with the necklace of metal spheres seemed far less foreboding and hostile than the insult-hurler. As the big man nodded his head in thanks, the Arcane Mantis Eye on his suspenders saw an object come flying from the same boy. A metal sphere, it seemed to be. Reacting at a far nimbler rate than a normal man of his size would be able to, he hopped just out of the way and swung Termite at the sphere, willing the hammer to increase in density while keeping its velocity, using the magic embedded in the mystical weapon. The sphere felt surprisingly heavy on contact, but Le'Crux was a large man carrying a lot of strength and his hammer was heavier. In accordance, the ball was sent rocketing back the way it came as the big man smirked and said Is that some kind of test? I may be big but I am not stupid, nor particularly gentle. Be wary, magnet-man. Turning to the whole group to address them, he was suddenly taken aback by a knife that accelerated past his face before embedding into the wall. After a moment of shock, he recovered his composure and retorted Jealous, much? Muffled, not-quite-inaudible laughter could be heard in the background. Le'Crux turned back to the group once more and addressed them I'd like to join. One question, why so much hatred amongst you? I have done nothing to deserve such hostility.
Dune raised an eyebrow in surprise. Such a big guy like him was fast enough to jump aside and smack it back? Dune clapped twice, partially applauding the big guy and partially for effect as his magnet zoomed back into its container. "Nah, not all of us are. Really just the two chicks here... and sometimes me. And some other guy as well." Dune glanced at Michael. "If you feel insulted, feel free to just go on and insult back. We mind." He didn't wait for Le'Crux to respond. "At any rate, you happen to be just in time, we're gonna be off on a quest. Think..." Dune extended his magic out. The air suddenly felt tingly and static, giving occasional shocks. Normal people would have found it hard to breath with the amount of Eternano in the air. "... you can handle it?" He withdrew his aura and smiled a somewhat friendly and somewhat menacing smile.
Kazuya watched silently as Luna glared at him, ignoring her insult as he pulled his dagger out, holding it in a way that didnt seem aggressive though could easily turn to such, using his grip on the blade to help keep detached and not let him get angry at her before he heard the doors open. As the doors opened Kazuya turned noticing the large male who walked through them asking about the guild, seeming quite unaffected by the insult Luna had slung at him as he entered.Kazuya then silently watched as Dune sent a magnet ball towards the mad, it knocked away with what looked to be a large hammer with the blade of an axe on it's opposite side, noticing a knife hitting the wall behind him after such and guessing it was from the other female who had just sent a barrage of insults towards him.
Kazuya then stepped towards the man slightly still holding his dagger between his hands as he observed the male as if wondering if he would react to his approach. As he asked about hatred among them Kazuya was about to speak before hearing Dune doing so from behind him waiting for him to finish, "As he said it's mainly the two females who seem to hate everyone, and I'm pretty sure one of the original guild members does too, the rest of us aren't too bad without any provocation from what I've seen so far, and aslong as you don't bring up any memories you won't have much to worry about from me."
The cocky grin that so infuriated the two female members of the group resurfaced on Le'Crux's face after the little display by Dune (whose name he did not know, but I'm an omniscient third person narrator atm so don't worry about it). Animosity, reassurance and/or respect were pieces of evidence proving the effectiveness of his intimidation tactics, after all. The big islander nodded at the boy with the knife. How could he not be pleased with the bunch? The only wild cards were the older men, who seemed to pay him little enough mind and demonstrated only indifference. He also made a mental note about the magnet-man, Do not let him become a living, breathing bug zapper. As he didn't want to delay the mission or make himself the target of interrogatives any longer, the big man switched the subject back to the matter at hand. Isn't there some sort of formality or ceremony for my induction? Can we skip it? Additionally, tell me about the quest. Regardless of the details, I'm in.
