I will be taking a challenger to create the best anti-meta synchro monster ever. First one to 3 votes wins. Victor gets 2 reps from the loser. Also, the loser must give 2 100+ word reviews to 2 of the victor's submissions (of the victor's choice). Any challengers? Contestants: 1. Sora1499: 1 vote 2. Kvn523: 3 votes Submissions: 1. When this effect resolves: send this card to the graveyard. When your opponent special summons a monster(s): you can special summon this card from your graveyard. Like 0.00000000000003% more. Cetacean Wings: I like the card because its an easy summon and effect can come in useful. It also has a pretty cool name. It has a nice drawback, OCG is perfect, and the whole idea is just great. Its also EXTREMELY awesome for fairies. Nice job... Zaneros Maestrov: I like it too. The name is kinda weird cuz it sounds like a french villain but thats really not important; at all. The picture is reeeeeeaaallly cool and I'm interesting to know where you got it from. However, for a level 5, I would bump down the ATK to like 2100 or 2000. The OCG is great and the effect is very well-balanced.... Verdict's decision: Sora's. The reason I picked his is that it would become a whole lot useful in the game whereas Cetacean Wings would be useful, but not much. Sora's card is like Doomcalibur which I LOVE. I would be surprised if it was ever used as a Tuner instead of for its effect, which is a cool, "Cold Wave" for Special Summons. I don't know, there is just something about it that makes me feel like it would never be used. It might be its Level being 2; actually, that's probably it. I don't like that if I had to choose between a Formula Synchron and this, I'd pick Formula without question. Anyway I feel like it should get an average score. 7/10. [color=#666666][font=tahoma, helvetica, arial, sans-serif][size=3]Zaneros Maestrov[/size][/font][/color] This is far too overpowered. It's a generic Level 5 Synchro with a selective "Doomcaliber" effect that you can get off twice easily using nothing but this card. If it was a one-off deal AND it got banished upon removal from the field then maybe, but as it stands it is too overpowered for my liking and deserves a score to reflect that. 5/10 My vote, as you can see, goes to Kvn523. Sander Posted October 7, 2012 Report Share Posted October 7, 2012 I'd have to vote for Kvn523, as his card is pretty interesting, I must say, and pretty balanced as well, other than the fact that it's effect can be activated once per duel. Sora's card, however, as stated before, is far to broken and cannot be defined as anti-meta. Why? Because it has crossed the line where anti-meta is considered as meta. Then, you tribute it for the effect. Bummer, there went that, and only 1 turn of no specialing. plus, only 1[sup]nce [/sup]per duel. I can only see it used as a synchro tuner. Its art is great, and its stats are nice for a level 2, but in the end, its to unstable. Too much costs, not enough benifit. 6.5/10 Maestrove Unlike the other, I kinda say this card is OP. It not only is super easy to spring, its a double doomcal. It goes, derp on everything. Then, it floats. With all the banish summoning support, I honestly say it is far too broke.
