(The following plot point takes place a week after the recording of Dr. David Numero's final journal entry was discovered.)
Harbinger of the Xyz Discovered ~ Special 6am News Bulletin

*Generic News Intro Music*

"Good morning, Chance Tiburon here, reporting to you live at 6 o'clock on the dot. And we start with a special news bulletin. Now, as those of you who've read last week's paper may know, our coveted Xyz Monsters are under threat by a mysterious force, and many of our own people are dying as a result. Last evening, however, we've managed to capture on tape what just might be one of the beings responsible for all this chaos and destruction. Unfortunately the footage has been damaged, but our technicians have been working all night fixing it into a presentable state, and now... we play it for the first time..."

*Static, then image fades in with female reporter Diana Reeds on camera, with a 2-on-1 duel going on behind her*

"...and this... thing behind me here seems be in the middle of dueling two people at once here; the uh... son of Dr. David Numero in... James... and what some of you may recognize as professional duelist Maverick Iwanage. Not only is he holding his own, but he's slowly, but sure-... worryingly, gaining the upper hand. Let's just hope these brave duelists can turn things a-... Huh?"

*Machine Emperor Ignis is summoned, and slams on the ground*

"Um... guys? I... think we've... worn out our welcome here. Let's just shut everything down; we've got everything we neeyAAARRGH!!"

*Hemisphere of inferno, followed by static, then image of the studio fades back in*

"James Numero and Maverick Iwanage have since been treated at New Domino City Hospital for some nasty third degree burns, and even as we speak, doctors are doing everything they can to keep the two of them alive. But for now, if we may give a moment of silence for Diana Reeds, and those of our camera crew who died that night getting this footage..."

YCM rules apply, as does the Advanced Clause. You know what they are, so follow them.
There will be a 5 Strike system in place. Each time you break a rule, you'll be given a strike (or 2 strikes if you break the above rule). See Watchlist for the effects of each advance in strikes.
I have the final say at all times. And no, I don't care how adamant you are in wanting to have or not have something. That is my decision, not your call.
My co-hosts have the second-to-final say at all times. Only I get to disobey them and/or override their decisions for whatever reason; the rest of you will be striked if you even dare.
Do not complain about any strikes that you do in fact get. You'll only get another one :I
Approval or denial of applications can be made by myself or my co-hosts for any particular reason. One of us may also add on to the reasoning of another as we think of them. You are free to fix your application based on our reasoning, but don't argue with us on that front.
Shortposting will not be tolerated. You have 2 hours to lengthen any IC Posts so that they reach the bare minimum of 4 lines (I have a wide-screen, so if you don't, you might want to shoot for 5 or 6 lines on your end so that it reads 4 lines on mine), but if you refrain from doing so, you will be striked for it.
Oh, and don't copy Numbers or Machine Emperors, or steal Numbers so that you can make your very own monsters either. The only time you can make an app that shares the same Number is if the character you're apping for was in the predecessor RP (and you own it of course) and if the RPer who originally apped for that number hasn't finished his or her app, or if the app has been denied. Characters from the predecessor RP take priority.
Finally, we'll be using the following ban-list. Exodia wins are off-limits, since they're the epitome of god-modding.
EDIT: We are no longer accepting applicants, and all reservations will be denied on the spot. The reason for this is because I have accepted enough characters (and players) so that the RP run smoothly and effectively, and I don't want it to be too crowded. BUT, and this is a big but, the following exceptions can be made below:
- If you have made a reserve or started on an app BEFORE the cut-off, you're more than welcome to finish it off. However, once(/if) I deny the app, the entire character is scrapped, and you'll have to make a new one from scratch if you still want to get in.
- If you insist on having one (more) character in the RP, you can fill out the app sheet, which is now edited and located below, and send it to me via PM only. You can only send 1 app this way, and it'll be a first-come-first-serve approach. Once I deny the app, that's final.
Name: (Derp)
Gender: Male/Female
Age: (16+ please)
Faction: Number Holder/Number Hunter
Personality: (6 lines minimum. Try to shoot for a unique personality, and please refrain from the 'cool, calm and collected' type; it's overdone.)
Biography: (At least 6 lines per paragraph please, or 8 if you're only intending on just the one to give a quick back-story. I personally recommend at least 2 anyway, since in-depth history matters.)
Appearance: (4 lines minimum. You can add a picture as well if you wish, but the manual description is mandatory, as it's key to character development. Place any pics you decide to use in spoilers.)
Theme Song: (Optional. If you opt against running one, please remove the entire field.)

Deck Type: (Lists are unnecessary, and only serve to ruin your surprises <_<)
Strategy: (Any particular strategy that your character undertakes. Even if your character uses the deck like they're supposed to, go ahead and just say so... practically.)
Ace Cards: (You can have up to 5 Ace Cards, not including your Number(s) or Meklord. They are applied separately.)
Number(s) in Possession: (Number Holders and Hunters only. Holders can only have 1 Number at all times, but Hunters may start off with up to 3, and build up their stash of Numbers over time. Effects and things aren't necessary for canon Numbers. (Well, at least not the ones that have been fully revealed.)
Chaos Number in Possession: (Number Holders and Hunters only. You can only have ONE Chaos Number during the course of entire RP. Number Hunters can opt against running a Chaos Number initially, allowing them to absorb a Number with a Chaos counterpart later in the RP. If you decide to go this way, please remove the entire field. If you have 32, then you don't need to provide anything for C32 if you intend on using it.)

Reason for Applying: (A paragraph or two on what you believe your character will bring to the plot. WARNING: The shorter and less detailed your paragraph is, the more likely the entire app will be denied. I suggest you put in the effort.)

This section is pretty much proof that I am keeping an eye on all candidates. As I stated in the rules, there will be a 5 Strike system in place. Once you break a rule, your name will be added to this watchlist along with 1 strike, or, if it's already on here, an additional strike will be added. Down below, you will see the effects of each advancement in strikes, just so you understand.

1 Strike: Pretty much the effective equivalent of me shaking my head and wagging my finger at you. If you have just one strike, then your name will be removed after 24 hours, or upon making 10 IC posts without further incident (fixing a shortpost doesn't count as "not an incident"), whichever takes longer to transpire.
2 Strikes: You must “like” the post that specifically tells you of the infraction before you may continue making IC posts. If you do not, you will be striked again.
3 Strikes: A temporary ban from the IC Thread, that will last for 24 hours. Post any sooner and you'll be striked yet again, twice if you break one of the main rules in the process.
4 Strikes: I will shell out all the details of your actions to a moderator via PM, while you receive yet another temporary ban, this time from both IC and OOC Threads alike. This ban will last for 72 hours, and may be placed on top of any punishments the moderator sees fit.
5 Strikes: That's the last straw! Banned from the RP for life, and if you've reached this far from 3 strikes, I'll shell out of all the details to a mod. Now please... bugger off.

Note that these effects are global, and will carry out through any future RP's hosted by myself. However, unless you have all 5 strikes, the number of strikes you'll start off with in the next RP will be cut in half and rounded down. If you go down from 4 strikes to 2 this way, you'll receive a new rule, which I will explain in the next RP I make if anyone gets that far. Now, let's see who's on the watchlist, shall we?
None.

- Supreme Gamesmater made the recording in the link above specifically for the predecessor RP made by Thunder End Dragon. Credit goes to the former for taking the time to do so.
- In all due respect of the predecessor RP, I've not made any significant changes to the plot. The piece you see below the title is more of an update than anything.
- Characters from the predecessor RP can be viewed here. Provided that you own that character (I'll check that myself), you can either copy-pasta it to this RP or remold it to suit with current events.
- Reservations can be removed without warning, and are especially at risk when a predecessor character comes into play, or if you screw up your Meklord user in the case that you're apping for one (in which case it'll be removed without questions asked). Remember, predecessor characters take priority.
- Diplomacy of the three factions in this RP are as follows:
Number Holders: Good (These are the guys that are supposed to group together and save the world)
Number Hunters: Evil/Chaotic Neutral (They have a greed problem and they want to hog the Numbers for themselves)
Machine Emperor Users: Evil (They've got the mighty Xyz-killing Meklords, what do you expect?)
- Life Points are set at 4000LP for all dueling characters, since that seems to be the amount that everyone likes. The only exception to this rule is if you're a member of the "underdog team" in an uneven Tag-Team Duel (i.e. a 3-on-1, 3-on-2, etc), in which case your LPs will increase to match the total of the other team as closely as possible (to the nearest multiple of 100). These types of Tag-Teams will be conducted Paradox style.
- Numbers can't be destroyed in battle except with other Numbers, but otherwise they have their IRL effects. If the wikia states that Number's effect is unknown, you can probably just make it up for the purposes of this specific RP as you go along; just don't make it broken. (You can also fill in additional blanks for the purposes of this RP as needed)
- All three of the Machine Emperors' users are from Astral's race, and ergo, are not human. Try to make a Machine Emperor user a human and your app will automatically be denied. You only get one shot with Machine Emperor users, and only the best apps will be used for these characters. Also, the Machine Emperors are down below (their effects are reset for this RP, in case you wish to make any changes). We'll start the RP when all three Machine Emperors are filled in (I'd like to see a female user here, since we had one in the previous RP) and we have a sizeable number of Holders and Hunters.
- The Numbers in the following spoiler are from the predecessor RP, and do not clash with the ones in this link. You must keep their name, Rank, Type and Attribute if you wish to use them, but feel free to change their ATK, DEF and effect, and even their Chaos Form if you wish. But don't try to steal their Numbers and make a brand new monster out of them. *inb4reminderthatrulesmakethisstatementredundant*

28 + Armors ~ TheFinalFan

Controlled By: Admiral_Stalfos19 (i.e. myself)
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Personality: Being used to have to wait for his goals to truly come to motion, Maverick is surprisingly patient, even more so than most others his age. However, he's also stubborn, and, although he grows frustrated with any lack of progress, he'll still continue to hack away at his goals until he sees them through at the very end. This stubbornness tends to carry through even when things look bleak. But just because he's stubborn doesn't mean to say he's a one-trick pony; he can think on his feet if he needs to, and will even changes gears completely if there's the slightest chance of netting a better result. All in all, Maverick is a fighter, and as long as there's hope for a better future, either for himself or his friends, he'll continue to fight on until he draws his last breath. He'll even fight through any physical pain that he has suffered if he must. Maverick starts off the RP having amnesia of the 2-on-1 duel with James and Salaginto, but slowly remembers the duel over the course of time.
Biography: Once upon a time, Maverick Iwanage was more than content with his part-time job working for Dr. David Numero, as he too was fascinated by how the Numbers worked. In hind-sight though, that wasn't such a wise idea after all, as now all it seems to have achieved is Salaginto being after his blood. Speaking of which, Maverick's first duel against him never went well: not even with his good friend James Numero at his side were they able to put much of a dent in Salaginto's defenses. It was clear that Maverick had underestimated him, which he even realized and admitted about halfway through the duel. But he pressed on regardless, determined to see the duel through until the end, like he always has. Despite being warned by James about the Machine Emperors, Maverick constructed an Overlay Network to Xyz Summon Gem-Knight Pearl, thinking that he couldn't afford to wait for a Fusion card and needing immediate power at the time. He planned to sacrifice it the next turn, but couldn't do so before Ignis reared in onto the fray and absorbed it. This in turn costed Maverick and James the duel, as Salaginto blasted the both of them back with a hemisphere of inferno from Ignis' main effect. Maverick was fortunate enough to fall straight into a pool of water, this extinguishing the flames that consumed him, but is now being treated at New Domino City Hospital for third degree burns.
Appearance: You can see the burns just by taking a closer look at the front-side of Maverick's body. Despite having taken the brunt of the damage, his left arm is mostly clean, as this was somewhat protected by the Duel Disk when Maverick was struck by the hemisphere of inferno cause by Ignis. The right arm, however, is singed to down to the bone. His chest is also burned, as are his legs, but neither of these areas are burned as badly, and both appear more as if they were merely sun-burned. Maverick has a new Duel Disk situated on his right arm, over the part that was badly burned.
Deck Type: Gem-Knights/Rocks
Strategy: Since being defeated by Salaginto's hand, Maverick has tended to rely more on the Gem-Knight Fusion Monsters than any of his other monsters, even his own Number. However, he still techs Megarock Dragon as back-up, or sometimes just as a finishing move. Maverick starts off defensively for the first few turns, giving himself time to study his opponent before taking the offensive.

Number in Possession: Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction
Chaos Number in Possession: Number C30: Acid Golem of Oblivion

Controlled By: Time Psyduck
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Personality: On the surface, Jane projects the impression of herself she wants others to have. Having to learn to control the emotions she was feeling gave her a pretty good understanding of them, and thus allowed her to fake them. Beneath the mask she puts on, however, she's rather emotionless. She still cares for people and will do what she can to help them, but she refuses to let her emotions influence her actions, and much prefers to think rather than feel. As a result, she can seem rather cold, and indeed those who spend time around her can find her lack of apparent emotion somewhat creepy. Locked within her, however, she does feel. She is somewhat lonely, despite having quite a few friends, since she dares not let anyone get close enough to get past her stoic 'inner mask'. Worse, however, is the constant sense of terror burned into her soul. Nothing has quite shifted that feeling, giving her unease any time she lets her emotions run free.
Biography: Jane was the only child in a rather wealthy family, and seemed to be an ordinary little girl, until she started talking about events that no-one could see. Jane had psychic abilites, the most powerful of which was Postcognition, which was allowing her to witness events that had occured previously in the same location. The ability to witness past events was tied into the emotions of those present, and with no control Jane simply saw the most emotional events to occur in that place. This resulted in her seeing a lot of crimes and other things that would disturb an adult, let alone a child too young to comprehend. The final straw came when her parents moved, and placed her in a bedroon where, unbeknownst to them, a girl Jane's age had been murdered. Witnessing a murder through the eyes of a victim was problematic enough; that victim being in your own bed was the final straw, and it broke Jane. She barely slept, was catatonic when awake and had stopped eating almost entirely.

She was fortunate to have attentive parents. They quickly moved her to another room, and got her the councilling she needed, but with the wider world still skeptical of her supposed gifts, she was treated for a psyciatric disorder she didn't have. The medication they gave her did nothing - only the sleeping pills helped, by forcing her to sleep, and even then she still suffered from nightmares. Finally, after much searching, her parents found Team Arcadia, a dueling team formed of others with similar abilities. Upon appealing for their help, the team took on Jane as an 'associate member', teaching her to control her powers, and in the process training her to be a successful duelist in her own right. Not wanting to pursue it as a career, however, she instead set herself up as a private investigator, putting her abilities to good use in solving crimes. Whilst her visions aren't admissable in court, they do allow her to locate evidence that is, and so she's been brought in on occasion to assist the police.

The current crisis has brought her to work for what could be considered her own interest (besides the pay) for the first time in her career. Most of Team Arcadia is dead, and the lone survior has set down his deck and left. Her parents, away on business, have appealed for her to join them, but Jane is certain that whatever it is that's killing duelists won't stop until it's either finished it's task or is destroyed, and that running will not help. Instead, she has decided to undertake her own invsetigation into what is killing the duelists with Xyz monsters, and either take it down or find a way for others to do so. Now, if only she could remember why she's so certain this threat is global...
Appearance: Jane is around 5' 5", but has a slight build, which makes her seem taller than she is in isolation, but when seen with others makes her seem small. She has dark hair, cut around 4 inches below her shoulders, and generally worn loose. Her eyes are grey, and seem to have a dead look about them, as though she has seen too much for anyone her age. In contrast, the rest of her face makes her look younger than she is, which coulpled with a body which has only a little in the way of feminine curves tend to mean she can pass for a teenager if she wants. Generally, she wears a black wasitcoat and trousers along with a white shirt and black boots, along with a brown overcoat and hat for cooler weather, but will vary her clothing if she wants to give a specific impression.

Deck Type: Banishing Psychics

Number in Possession: Number 36: Warp Horror
Chaos Number in Possession: [acronym='Yet to be unlocked']Chaos Number 36: Warp Nightmare Emperor[/acronym]

Controlled By: Beginning446
Gender: Male
Age: 45
Personality: Bailas Gale is a firm practitioner of Zen Buddhism and yoga and believes that everything can be solved by find its balance and its center. Through deep breath and meditation one can find the true answers to all of life’s mysteries. He does not believe in anger for it can possibly misalign your chakras and your chi flow. Due to his intense meditation he believes that all things are best when they are quiet. Noise clutters the air it pollutes your senses and because of such it too contorts your chi flow. Thanks to his beliefs it is hard for him to socialize with the younger crowd or be it loud people in general. This is most likely because he has a bad habit of completely tuning out all noise once it gets over a certain decibel. This especially goes for loud people talking and though there is no malice in his actions people do take being tuned out the wrong way. Therefore most of his friends are yoga buddies who meet at a neighborhood gym mostly the same age and mostly the same interest.

Bailas believes that there is a use for everything and that everything has a purpose in life. If it doesn’t why would it exist in the first place? Bailas constantly searches for use in what others would deem useless leading him to spend many a time trying to help people find employment or learning about softer spoken people. When actually playing the card game he surprises his opponents with his intricate knowledge of the game. It’s not that he is overtly smart it’s just that he can keep up with higher level terminology like game state, replays, or foregoing priority. This is clearly do to his own deck of little creatures that are oddly worded and may or may not miss timing therefore he learned about such.
Biography: Bailas Gale was born in a Temple located in the middle of a foreign land much similar to Tibet. There he raised on the simple lifestyle of meditation, yoga, eating the bare essentials of life. As a child he was always taught to respect everything and everyone. There were no initial problems because that is how everything was in this humble village simple. There wasn't any noise pollution unless it came from newborn babies, but that wasn’t truly noise it was the gift of life. It was in his early childhood that Bailas found a strange attraction to the Lotus flower. A flower that took a legendary amount of time to bloom, the epitome of patience and virtue, yes this is what he aspired to be as an adult. Of course this temple was entirely old school meaning that Bailas wouldn’t be introduced to the finer points of living until he would leave the temple and start his own journey at the age of 18 (roughly when one would graduate high school).

As he matriculated through higher education he immersed himself in the popular activity of card games. And due to his peaceful yet disciplined up bringing he was quite good at mechanics of the game. Unfortunately people have a certain knack to pick decks and play cards that suit them as a person. Bailas did not have such luck. Most cards were extremely wordy, too overtly powerful, or combined to make a series of rather depressing loops that did not foster any creativity and bought out the worst in mankind. He then decided to try to use cards that no one else really wanted and it seemed that everyone looked down on level one monsters. It was then he discovered his “Birds” and their beautiful bird like goodness. Needless to say his university years were filled with epic card making conquest.

As time passed he lived what he would define a peaceful life, he found someone to love fathered a couple of children and made his way in life. It was one day that he was walking in his peaceful neighborhood and he saw some kids playing in the park. Doing like kids do they were trading and bragging about card games. One kid got so noticeably mad that he threw his deck on the ground and walked off with the other students angry. This naturally disheartened Bailas seeing as all things organic and inorganic had a purpose this meaning. The majority of his collection excluding his deck was given away to the underprivileged there was no need to ever have such waste. Bailas naturally went over to the discarded cards after all the kids cleared the area and just began to look at them. Oddly enough it was Mystic Piper deck centered on level one monsters. He chuckled as this brought back memories. Eventually he came across a card with a number on it and he could feel the weird energy surging through it. With a warm smile he noticed the number 56 appear on his hand. With that he decided that he could at least try to incorporate some of these cards in his old deck and make sure the rest have a decent home somewhere.

It wasn’t long till he realized this incident about people dying with one card from their Xyz decks missing it didn’t take long for him to realize that there was someone going after people with “Numbers” though he didn’t know that was the proper name for them at the time. Still he was prepared for the worst so the best thing to do is to meet the problem head on and fly to this land of Xyz killings such negative energy may disrupt his flow of calm energies but that is almost expected.
Appearance: Bailas a tall (6’1”) Indian looking man with dark, olive skin, slate-grey eyes, and short, white hair with two braids that are adorned with beads. He keeps his head wrapped in a plain turban and wears a green sherwani with a yellow and white sash over plain churidars. His hands and feet tend to be quite callous thanks to his constant need to go barefoot when he is doing you and the vast amount of training he underwent from his days at the temple. His skin though does not look apparently wrinkled for someone is age. Most likely due to the fact that his constant meditation and need for quiet and serenity lead to a pretty stress free life. For accessories, he wears silver hoop earrings and a decorative bindi. His duel disk is actually one of the first old retro battle city duel disk that had to be retrofitted to be compatible with the standard technologies of modern day dueling.

Strategy: Swarm, spam, swarm, spam, swarm, spamfest. Seriously the deck is completely centered around summoning as many level one “birds” as possible and possibly using them for some method of extra deck summoning. The secondary strategy is the amalgamation of “Feather Counters” that combined with the field spell add a beatdown to the mix.

Controlled By: Chaos Sonic
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Personality: A noble, kind-hearted, and ambitious teen: three words that would fit Zack's personality to a "T". His kind-hearted nature is one that will let others quickly befriend him, and vice-versa. With his noble attitude, he won't let anyone fall behind in anything. Zack does what he can to encourage those around him, having a bit of a leader trait hidden within him. He'll never quit to achieve his ambitions, which is to keep his promise to a fallen Numbers Holder and to stop the Machine Emperor threat that plagues the city. During a duel, Zack gets very serious, as if nothing else matters at that point and time. Having a strong sense of freedom and justice drives this young man to keep going, not stopping no matter what. However, he may not seem like the type to get pissed easily, but that's just what happens. If you get on his bad side or want to pester Zack non-stop, you may just end up getting a fist in your face.
Biography: Zack Holmes, a bright young man who always thought of justice and freedom as being something important. Perhaps that is what led him to choose the E-HEROs as his dueling deck. But we're getting ahead of ourselves. Best to start at the beginning.

Zack was born in the U.S., where he stayed until his early teens(around fifteen or sixteen). About that time, he decided to have his parents send him to Japan where he could go to Duel Academia. However, when he arrived in New Domino City, the Duel Academia roster was already full. So he stayed in New Domino City, upset with not being able to get into the Academy. However this did not stop him, Zack went off to different card shops around the city, dueling and showing his stuff. This went on until he was eighteen, about the time David Numero returned. That's when things went a bit psycho.

About the time when James and Maverick were dueling together against M.E. Ignis, Zack was scrambling around as he ran into Neo Hikari, the holder of 17 & C17, who was against a Numbers Hunter. Zack couldn't look away as Neo dueled with all his heart, losing in the process. But he didn't lose because of the way he played, no, he lost because he sacrificed his own life to save the Number Hunter's life from huge pieces of debris from a building. As he was struck by the debris, his Number 17 & C17 were taken by the Hunter, who left him there for dead. Zack however, rushed towards him to try and help, but it was no use...Neo was slowly dying. But as if fate brought them together, Neo handed Zack his duel disk. "Take these...at least try to survive...hopefully the others could use someone...like you." was the last thing that Neo said before he passed.

A few days later, as he finally turned nineteen, Zack Holmes was chosen as a Number Holder. The number that appeared to him was Number 37 - Flame Hero. With his new Number and Duel Disk/D-Gazer, Zack finally had the chance to help out...and keep his promise to the dying Neo.
Appearance: Zack's hair has small streaks of black hair, offsetting his natural red hair and his eyes are steel-gray. His has the choker in the picture above, however he rarely ever wears it. He wears dark blue jeans and wears a pair of black tennis shoes. His jacket is black, matching the black Duel Academia Duel Disk he was given by Neo Hikari. He wears the disk on his left arm, the same side as he wears his dark red D-Gazer (looks like Yuma's, but a bit more epic). His right fingerless glove does have a printed "37" on it, indicating what Number he holds. On his left hand, Zack wears a sterling silver ring with a black fiery pattern around it, this happened to be his grandfathers and he wears/keeps it as a keepsake.

Gender: Female
Age: 23
Personality: Like Kaiba, Aivea commands respect as a high ranking duelist. And like Kaiba, she has a cold, stony exterior personality, although once it's broken, she can feel the hollowness seeping from her heart. That's where the similarities end, however, and differences largely begin to emerge. While Kaiba detests duelists that use his own cards against him, Aivea only scoffs at them for resorting to such a tactic, as she believes that's where true weakness lies. And although Kaiba eventually comes to grasp with the supernatural, Aivea completely trashes the entire concept of it. This makes her come off as a hypocrite though, considering the supernatural abilities that she's capable of. First off, unlike many mortals, she can actually see Duel Spirits, and this also includes the spirit of her number, 85, who appears alongside her from time to time. Aivea also has an aura around her that seems to intimidate and unnerve commoners, and in addition to this, she can absorb a memory from someone just by locking eyes with him or her for about 10-15 seconds. When looking at her own reflection, however, she "remembers" things that have happened to Kisara, instead. Speaking of which, Aivea still glowers over Kisara's death from time to time, and will sometimes take it out on anyone within earshot of her, even when one has done nothing to provoke her. She maybe hypocritical, but at least she doesn't seem to be arrogant or egocentric.
Biography: Ever since her mother in Kisara Kaiba lost her life to hypothermia, Aivea Kaiba has struggled to get over it during her childhood. Her memory absorbing powers didn't help; in truth, they were forcing her to relive Kisara's last moments, even right up to the point that she died. Unfortunately, Seto Kaiba wasn't able to do much to comfort Aivea, as he still had to keep KaibaCorp up and running on top of that. However, on Aivea's 7th birthday, Kaiba had given her a [acronym='technically an old one for the purposes of this RP']brand new duel disk[/acronym], along with an entire briefcase of Duel Monsters cards to jump start her collection. Aivea was left speechless, but as a second 'present', Kaiba had taught her everything she needed to know about Duel Monsters. From there, Aivea had became the youngest professional duelist ever, even beating Rebecca Hawkins' record. She never did forget about Kisara's death, but at least dueling helped Aivea take her mind off it for a time.

After a decade or so, Kaiba decided to take Aivea on a trip to Egypt, using his Blue-Eyes White Dragon Jet to get there. Once there, he lead her inside a pyramid, which had presumably been there since the ancient times. At first, Aivea couldn't care less, but something inside there was calling for her, insisting that she explore further, and find the heart of the pyramid. Fearing for her safety, Kaiba practically had no choice but to follow, and when the two of them made their way into the center, they were presented with the Hieratic cards, along with Number 85: Holyciraptor. Curiously, Aivea picked them up and examined them, but the second she took them off the pedestal that they were on, 85 had opened up a rift beneath her feet. Anticipating Aivea's attempt to evade this rift, it had also paralyzed her before she could move a muscle, and despite Kaiba's attempt to save her, she was dragged into her future, where the Machine Emperors are threatening the very lives of the citizens of New Domino City. Now though, 85 faces a difficult task of getting Aivea in the right mindset to save these citizens.
Appearance: Aivea is tall for a young woman, standing at 5' 11", and is highly well endowed as well. Her left eye is very mysterious indeed, but most of the time, the pupil is an equal size to that of her normal right eye. It's only when it's absorbing a memory from another person that the pupil of Aivea's left eye shrinks to the size shown in the image below, only to grow again when it's finished. Underneath that sweater lies only a simple black T-shirt, and as for lower clothing, Aivea tends to adopt blue denim jeans. So far, Aivea only has 1 tattoo; a large image similar to the one on the Monster Reborn card, which covers her entire back. However, she has 3 long steel needles across her left cheek, and a multitude of small spikes across her eyes that are arranged to appear as eyelashes. Her breasts are also pierced.

Personality: [acronym='he prefers to just go by Foster, as no one outside of a military academy graduate would know who Cincinnatus was']Cincinnatus[/acronym] is a career soldier through and through. He is a rather noble individual, believing that there are certain men who are to go to war so that the civilians of the country they serve do not have to, and fighting to protect those behind their lines. Trained by the Green Berets, he specializes in unconventional warfare and counter-terrorism tactics, and is as skilled with his fists, a knife, or his mind as he is with a gun, though he rarely wishes to resort to violence unless required. A cool, calculating, and rational individual, Foster hates the stereotype of gung-ho soldiers that shoot first and ask questions later, and instead prefers to subdue the opponent using nonlethal means to subdue his foes, which is why he has taken to dueling like a duck to water, though sometimes a little CQC is needed to complete his objective. Foster is currently rather happy to be back in a field position, but he considers himself to be rather old due to his experience and true age.
Biography: Foster has served the United States of America valiantly in an alternate reality. He was raised during the Reagan and Bush Sr. years, during which he developed a keen sense of honor and protecting those who couldn't protect themselves. He joined his high school's JROTC back in Arizona, and not only graduated salutatorian, but he was recruited into his state's National Guard, where he served for a few years until the events of September 11, 2001. In a patriotic decision, he decided that the best way to serve his country would be to bring the fight back to the terrorists, and he signed up for the Green Berets, becoming a part of the 5th Special Forces Group, which operates in the Middle East. After carrying out various official and unofficial operations in the region for the good part of a decade, he was put on the officer track, much to his chagrin, and made his way up to being a Colonel in the Air Force.
After an event involving a comet made out of Orichalcos and a brief guerrilla war in Detroit, Foster was offered a commission into a special organization called "Neighborhood Watch", an umbrella operation across Foster's universe and many others, protecting his local multiverse. Realizing that not even his world was safe from extradimensional threats, he accepted, and he faked his own death. He was subsequently physically regressed back to his prime thanks to medical nanites reversing the gradual decay of his DNA, thereby curing him of the disease commonly called "old age". Foster became an integral part of the new Neighborhood Watch initiative dubbed "Alphabet Soup", which collected the best and brightest from across the multiverse to assist in Neighborhood Watch's various activities, from interdimensional research and monitoring to paramilitary operations. He was assigned a team of several operatives and has been deployed to this universe to secure a valuable asset to Alphabet Soup, though he will not divulge what this asset is as of yet. Unfortunately, he and the rest of Kilo Team did not count on being drawn into the conflict of this Earth.
Appearance: Foster appears to be a very fit man of African descent in his mid-20s, standing at 6'7" and weighing in at over 250 pounds of muscle. He wears a black beret on top of his bald head with a green band around the edge, and a black patch with a silver "&" overlaying a stylized clock stopped at 11. He has black fingerless gloves over his hands, a grey short-sleeved shirt, a red bandanna around his neck with a pair of goggles on top, also around his neck, a pair of urban camouflage pants with dark-brown combat boots, and a belt around his waist, as well as two straps, one on either shoulder going down to his waist, that all have various equipment pouches. Around his left arm is a black and green standard D-Pad that has silver and gunmetal card slots. On his back is a backpack-like device that contains Pip, a small wheeled drone a bit larger than an RC car with a spherical blue eye, six wheels, a battery pack, and an antenna. Pip's container has solar panels for him to recharge in, as well as a small repair bay in case the little drone gets hurt.

Age:
Personality: Odysseus tends to act cold and analytic but in reality is quite caring often taking care of others which is at contrast with his appearance. Though his form of care tends to run in the vain of tough love where he pushes people to be their best and doesn't deal well with overly emotional displays like an overly friendly person or a crying child though he will try to help with the latter. When it comes to work Odysseus is extremely cold not letting anything get in his way but he will be flexible if it will not affect the outcome. Odysseus' favorite motto is "You should only fight fair if your strong enough to defeat everyone in existence with one arm tied behind your back," meaning he'd rather enter a fight he knows he'll win then risk losing something important.
Biography: When the numbers returned to the earth an uproar broke out in the Barian World and after investigating what happened they realized they had to act or their world could suffer destruction. There was much debate of what should be done by the Seven Lords of the Barian World some wanted to bargain, with the enemy others wanted all out war, but eventually they decided to send a member to the earth to aid the humans in their battle so that the Barian World would not have to get involved directly. So it was decided that Odysseus would be sent to the earth to aid the humans in their struggle against the Meklords which had come to destroy them.
After reaching the earth Odysseus located the area that the attacks were taking and decided to try and find powerful duelists who could control the power of Chaos Xyz monsters and after some observation has decided to test a group who may be able to grow strong enough to stop the invading forces.
Appearance: In his human form Odysseus has marble white skin, black hair that runs down his back, and green sharp eyes, when he duels his left eye turns completely green. Odysseus has a lean muscular build and wears a red jacket with a black T-shirt under it along with blue jeans and black knee high boots. Around Odysseus' neck is a necklace with the Barian Symbol on the end of it and he uses a red version of Astral's duel disk, his deck box is on a loose belt he wears around his waist.

Number in Possession: Number 66: Shadow Chaser

Controlled By: AixDivadis
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Personality: Nina Oscuri seems, on the outside, dark, cruel, vicious and confident, partially from the influence of her Number, partially as a outer shell to protect herself and hide her inner self. She has an air of regality, holds herself upright and walks as if she owns everything. She will often survey her surroundings like a queen surveying subjects and is quite observant.

Nina seldom talks, her voice is quiet but intimidating nevertheless and has an menacing edge to it. When, she does talk, it often is to make mean remarks or boast (not in a loud way, however) and when someone talks back or defends themselves, she will laugh at them, a light evil giggle, telling them that they are ignorant and deluding themselves.

Her Number will influence her more during moments of exhilaration or triumph, to the extent where Nina will appear downright sadistic, her words becoming more venomous and taunting and she will seem to enjoy her opponent’s despair. Her eyes will glow ever so slightly.

During her moments which she thinks she is alone, she turns out to be a sad and lonely girl. Her voice becomes soft and caring. She has a particular weak spot for cute animals, her secret home is full of her pets. Her hobbies include painting, playing her harp and singing for her animal companions. She turns out to be incredibly protective of those she calls friends.
Biography: Nina Oscuri was born the child of a madman and an unwilling woman. Needless to say, she had a traumatic childhood. Nina’s father, Leon Oscuri, was a mad scientist and Duelist who took other people’s cards (and souls) after he defeated them. In some point in time, before Nina was born, Leon defeated Nina’s aunt, June Winterreise, who was a professional Duelist at the top of the world, and was going to take her cards kill her when Nina’s mother, Eliza, intervened. Leon saw something special in the woman which he believed would help his experiments and made her marry him to spare June.

Leon’s experiments involved trying to turn Eliza into a Duel Monster, in fact, the ultimate Duel Monster that would allow him to almost instantly win any Duel. Over the years, the experiments became more and more brutal and dangerous. Eliza would be, at the end of each day, almost drained of her life. Leon was about to give up on Eliza and he settled his eyes on his own daughter, who he apparently discovered that she met the requirements of his experiments better. He began doing painful experiments on Nina. Each day, as he failed, he would then subject his wife and daughter to abuse, blaming them for his failure, going into a demonic rage.

Finally, Leon gave up on Eliza and was about to dispose of her. Nina, having no other way to stop him, activated a cannon that was supposed to transform a being into a card and shot it. Miraculously, it succeeded. Leon and Eliza disappeared, on the floor were the two cards “The Insane Scientist” and “Eliza, Invincible Fiend Knight”.

Nina was left all alone to survive. She wandered alone, taunted by the rich kids of New Domino and barely evading capture by police who were to send her to Satellite. During this time, her only companions were the stray cats and dogs, as well as other small animals. Nina stole to survive, but it was not quite enough. Most security in New Domino City was too well designed for Nina to even attempt to get past them.

One day, when she was thirteen, by great fortune, she was found and taken in by June. June had suspected that her niece was alive and had gone great lengths to find her. Unfortunately, Nina only got to live with her aunt for three months, before her aunt fell prey to a Numbers Hunter, her soul taken. Her aunt was growing old, and couldn’t Duel quite as well anymore. Nina, in the heat of the moment and out of sheer rage, jumped in and challenged the Hunter. The Hunter was amused by this spirited little girl. He accepted but was defeated and from him she acquired Number 21: Mystical Cosmic Hurricane.

Nina decided to take up the mantle of a Numbers Hunter and seeks the Numbers in pursuit of power. She has so far taken 1 more Number from their unfortunate holder: Number 44: Gravemaster.
Appearance: Nina Oscuri is a beautiful teenage girl of medium height and a thin build. She has rather pale but healthy-seeming skin and contrasting shoulder-length dark hair with a tinge of bluish purple. Her eyes are a deep blood red. Under her left eye, where she wears her black Duel Gazer with a red vine design, she has a red tattoo. She wears a form-fitting black vest all the way zipped and three belts strapping it tight around her waist. There is no clue as to what she wears underneath (to all dirty-minded people, she does wear a shirt and a bra underneath, not just nothing). She wears black jeans, tied with a fourth belt, which there is a chain that holds the case she puts her Deck in. It has a DNA sensor on it which would deliver 0.07 amps (1/10 of the lethal amount and more than three times than most tasers) to anyone who would try to steal it. She wears thin black leather boots with many straps that go up to her knee. On her arms, her left arm especially, she wears lots of decorative black bands and bracelets as well as real silver chains.

Gender: Male
Age: 35
Personality: James is a decently sensible person, having needed to develop some patience to deal with a bunch of teenagers interested only in duelling. Outside the classroom though, he tends to be rather rash at times, and often just follows his own instincts on a matter, rather than listening to someone else. He has a habit of talking to himself when alone, and is also addicted to coffee, not being able to last a day without at least 1 cup of coffee, and more usually having a few. He is also quite shy, a trait he has less than before, thanks to having a job as a teacher, but will often let others talk and just listen to the conversations mostly if there’s more than 2 people. Overall James is a fairly quiet man who keeps to himself and acts on his own decisions rather than being overly influenced by other people’s decisions. He’s also quite touchy about his lack of height, and will get angry at those who mention it. He’s recently also been obsessed with killing the Xyz ‘scourge’ as he calls it, wanting to duel and beat as many of the Xyz wielders as possible, and remove the Xyz from this land, so he can go back to the good days where he could use a fabled synchro deck and still have it be a powerful archetype.
Biography: James comes from a fairly quiet neighbourhood, growing up friends with all the kids living around him, and taking an interest in duelling from an early age. His first deck was actually a fabled synchro deck, from before the arrival of the Xyz monsters, which he used to win several competitions and then took with him to a duel academy. At the academy, since everyone else seemed to already be in groups of friends, he was quickly cast aside by most of the students, despite being one of the better duellists in the academy, and ended up with his only friend at the academy being a girl from his year who had similarly been cast out because she didn’t know anyone there. Through their years in the academy, he ended up quite shy, after being constantly rejected by the other students, and ended up having to decrease his own presence in the academy to avoid being teased.

After making it through the academy and graduating, he left to go through a university course in teaching so he could come back and teach that which he enjoyed doing most, duelling. After being hired by a rival academy to the one he’d gone through, he quickly made friends amongst the teachers at that academy, and ended up with more friends than before. He lost contact with the girl he’d been friends with though, regretting that since, and saw the incoming of the new Xyz monsters right at the start, and at the time predicted that they would take over from synchro monsters, leaving behind his fabled synchro deck to take up a deck that possessed a lot of anti-Xyz capabilities, jumping at the chance to get a couple of rare cards that would hurt the oncoming advent of the Xyz monsters.

When the Number Xyz monsters started to appear, he managed to acquire Number 9: Dyson Sphere which he managed to use well with the capabilities of Photon Satellite as an easy way to summon Dyson Sphere. When he found out about the other Numbers that existed, and ran into a couple of other wielders, he decided to hunt them down and take them to try and obtain more power to fight with, and increase his abilities, particularly against xyz monsters. Managing to capture two of the particularly anti-Xyz numbers, Number 15 and 69, he turned his attention to the wars that were raging on between the Number Holders and the Machine Emperor Users, and decided to join in to try and take as many numbers as he can out of the whole affair to use. His Chaos Number is yet to awaken for his use.
Appearance: James is a small man, standing only at 5’4” and with a bit of a belly that comes with indulging on that he likes over the years. He has wiry black hair, which is starting to turn grey and is taking on a more salt and pepper sort of colouring, as well as receding off his forehead. He keeps his beard clean shaven, as he finds it inconvenient, and has a pair of soft brown eyes. He usually wears a brown tweed coat, taking on almost a professor sort of appearance, and a pair of long brown pants to go with them. Underneath the coat he wears a long sleeved shirt and a bow tie, which is seen uncovered as often as covered by the tweed coat, as the coat is often taken off when he gets too hot. His shoes are a pair of slip-on, brown, leather shoes. He wears a pair of corrective lenses, set into a black frame with a pair of knobs attached. The first of these darkens the lenses, acting basically to turn the glasses into sunglasses if he needs, and the other turns it into a double lens duel gazer, that allows him to see what’s happening in duels without needing a separate duel gazer.

Strategy: Summoning Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and using him to decimate against the Xyz monsters or using him to summon Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. Also, he often uses Galaxy-Eyes or Photon Kaiser with Photon Satellite in order to summon his main number monster, Number 9: Dyson Sphere. Basically uses various effects within the archetype for Photon shenanigans. The deck also makes use of some anti-Xyz support.

Gender: Male
Age: [acronym='He's walked the earth for over 10,000 years, however']Unknown[/acronym]
Personality: Ever since being caught on camera by a news reporter, Salaginto has put a lot more emphasis in haste with his mission of destroying the Xyz Monsters, figuring that if it can't be done stealthily, it must be done quickly. That doesn't mean to say that he'll start throwing caution to the wind, however; he'll certainly at least take the time to calculate the risks involved and determine whether an action is worth doing or not. He'll even advocate for something that may take a while, but shortens the time the mission takes in the long run. But he's only patient when he believes he has to be, and strongly dislikes it when something takes longer than he deems necessary. Anyone who stands in Salaginto's way will be belittled to the utmost extent; he'll even going so far as to claim that doing so would be suicide, and discard any idealism that states that he's doing the wrong thing. The worst thing one could possibly do to Salaginto for their sake is rile him up, because unlike with any human, getting Salaginto angry only allows him to focus his thoughts more effectively.
Biography: It all started with a vision: One that would see the Xyz Monsters tearing Salaginto's universe and many others asunder. His fellow race would continue to use these monsters, unaware of the certain destruction that would unfold, or perhaps even completely oblivious to it. No-one would heed Salaginto's warning... except the Machine Emperors, Ignis, Aquel and Sunnel. Salaginto approached all three of them, and explained the situation, before requesting that Aquel and Sunnel find two worthy beings to add to his side, whilst Ignis remained with him. It wasn't until these three Machine Emperors reunited that Salaginto began the assault on his homeland, taking down several of the spirit-like beings that opposed him, and carrying out his mission to destroy the Xyz Monsters. Before he could get far with this mission though, he was challenged by none other than Astral, and out of disgust for what he considered a betrayal, accepted the duel. Astral and Salaginto's duel was exhaustively long, as the two pushed one another into corners. But Salaginto became victorious in the end, shortly after summoning Ignis, and destroying Number 39: Utopia.

However, Salaginto's victory was in vain. While he and Astral were duking it out, the other spirit-like beings had gathered all the Xyz Monsters that were left, including the Numbers, and launched them off into deep space with the technology that they had. Enraged by this, Salaginto ordered his comrades to pursue the Xyz Monsters, while he himself turned to scold at the other beings, swearing that he'd hunt them down to the ends of the multiverse if he had to. He then caught up to his comrades, and learnt that a wormhole of some sort had transported the Xyz Monsters to another dimension, and through following this wormhole, that they had landed on Earth, more specially in the outskirts of New Domino City. There, he located the Numero Industries building, and co-ordinated the destruction of the entire building, along with as much of the information that it withheld as possible, before seeing the comrade that he had co-ordinated this with off. He returned moments later, and opened a blast-proof safe that seemed to have survived the explosion, only to take out what seemed to be a payroll list for all of Dr. David Numero's employees, and burning the rest of the information inside.

Using the payroll list as a list of "targets as a hit-man", Salaginto ventured off into the night, executing each of these employees that had not been in the building when it blew up in the others' faces. He'd also killed a random Number Hunter along the way, and destroyed the Number that he had on him, along with a myriad of other Xyz monsters. However, Maverick Iwanage, who worked in David's research as a part-time job, had eluded Salaginto for the longest time, until he ironically approached the latter as he was killing off the last other employee on the list. Salaginto immediately challenged Maverick to a duel, but James Numero had just arrived at that stage. Maverick insisted that James stay back, but Salaginto quickly changed his mind, instead offering the both of them to face him in a 2-on-1 duel, which Maverick hastily accepted. It wasn't until half-way into the duel that Maverick started to come into terms with Salaginto's true power as a duelist. Both he and James were low on Life Points, but Maverick had Xyz Summoned Gem-Knight Pearl in a desperate attempt to turn things around. A news crew managed to capture the duel on tape, just as Salaginto began his next turn. He was merely toying with the two duelists beforehand, but quickened the pace the minute he realized he was caught on top, first by ramming one of his monsters into one of James', allowing him to summon Ignis, and then absorbing Gem-Knight Pearl and using him to blast away the last few Life Points they had. The flames caused by Ignis had pushed Maverick and James into a pool, and burned the film crew alive, but Salaginto left the scene completely unharmed. After his victory, Salaginto had a vision that the two duelists would survive the burns... but left them for dead nonetheless.
Appearance: Underneath Salaginto's helmet is a face that appears vastly similar to Astral's, but always of which seems more aggressive and intimidating. Salaginto's body also glows gold instead of cyan like Astral's, and his irises change from their original colour in diamond white to ruby red and glow according to how angry he feels. This ranges from a dim glow when he's merely pissed off, to a blindingly bright glow when he's absolutely furious! Salaginto is rarely seen with his helmet off, and even when it is, he'll always hold it by his side until he decides to put it back on again.
Strategy: Aside from taunting his opposition as he goes along, Salaginto tends to play both defensively and offensively, sometimes both at the same time. He also tends to focus on forcing misplays from the opponent; as such, he will sometimes just summon something, allow the opponent to use up his or her Torrential Tribute or Bottomless Trap Hole, and then use Double Summon to summon a more worrisome monster, or attack, and then suddenly chain something like Zero Gravity to his or her Mirror Force, rendering it useless.

Machine Emperor: Number ∞: Machine Emperor Ignis

Controlled By: Merciful Idiot
Gender: Male
Age: Due to the chaotic nature of Spectral, his age can never be confirmed.
Personality: Spectral is a bit of a complex character, or entity, or whatever. He can be highly insane at times, and has a liking to describing how exactly he plans to sadistically torture his opponent in the near future, which may or may not involve their relatives and friends. But despite this, he's actually rather clear-minded and is quick to point out all and any flaws in one's own plans. There are times when he can be empathic and show mercy, but he only does such things when his enemy appears to have accepted their defeat or death, which he despises. The more afraid his enemy becomes, the more sadistic he himself becomes, though it's hard to tell whether this sadism is fixed. As he is literally incapable of neither fear nor pain, having never felt them in his entire life, he can prove to be exceedingly annoying and noisy even to his colleagues, as nothing had ever successfully subdued him.

He also likes to do unnecessary things, and if left unchecked could do a whole lot of things that don't benefit Salaginto's plans, and even make them worse. It can't ever be certain how he views life, whether as a game or a serious matter. And how he views himself is even more different to be ascertain of, whether he thinks of himself as a god, an ordinary Astral being, a freak. He rarely makes sense, and may from time to time make up random riddles or poems with seemingly no meaning, and then assign them a meaning after they've already been made. Because he has never felt pain nor fear in his entire life, he has no true grasp over the concept of 'morality', and finds no difference between good and evil.

He acts playful a lot, somewhat like a spoiled yet innocent child. He also has a strange attraction and fixation on human females (only humans, mind you, he doesn't show the slightest interest in duel spirits or others of his kind), and may tend to ignorantly point out embarrassing facts about them without hesitation.

However, do not be fooled; he can usually surprise other people when he suddenly reveals his understanding of the situation. Although he can be ignorant, especially underneath acid rain or when The Great Satan itself decides to have a chat with him, he knows how things work and will always provide his own opinion and suggestions on the matters at hand.
Biography: From his very 'conception', the being now known as Spectral had been strange. It was only natural, as he was not truly of the Astral World despite being of the same type. He had been concepted and raised within the Barian World for years before being sent back to his 'home world'. Perhaps they had intended him as a spy of some sort, or perhaps they had just gone tired of him, but whatever the reason he had by now forgotten, along with his real name. It is even debatable to this day whether he is merely a corrupted Astral being or some sort of half-Barian hybrid. Certainly, he possesses powers that correspond to both worlds, but...

When he arrived at the Astral World, it was only natural to say that he had not been warmly welcomed. Reluctantly, they accepted him in despite his [s]inhuman[/s] strange behaviour, but constantly tortured and belittled him under the hope that someday he would make the choice to leave them on his own. Truly, this is evident of their choosing to name him 'Spectral', a name he immediately adopted as he took a liking to it. Unfortunately, since he was incapable of both pain and fear, such negative actions only registered into his mind a little bit, and went by unnoticed to his distorted mind.

Why Aquel chose Spectral of all entities is beyond anyone's guess. But apparently the Machine Emperor had chosen correctly, and Spectral's unpredictableness had been vital in Salaginto's assault, preventing an early instantaneous defeat. And thus, he has continued to aid his two comrades in their quest to save the many universes from being destroyed by the threat of Xyz Monsters...though it's hard to tell whether he actually cares about the destruction itself.
Appearance: He appears somewhat similar to Astral, possessing similar markings and overall body structure. His color is a light purple, more focused to blue than to red. The 'hair' on top of his head falls down to give off a slightly emo-ish feel, although shorter and cleaner. His eyes are irregular, deviating from golden on white sclera to magenta on black sclera. The white version tends to appear more often when he acts sadistic, while the black version appears more when he's more normal-orientated (sympathetic, playful, things like that). Therefore, he appears the most normal when he's at his most heartless state, while the most inhuman when he's kind. Ironic. He also has the ability to sprout out crimson wings from his back, though this does nothing more than increase his speed a bit, and mostly he does it only as a prop to make himself appear more menacing.

Deck Type: Toons
Strategy: Spectral tends to focus on swarming the field with his Toon monsters, made greatly simpler thanks to Toon Realm, and always aims for direct attacks. His strategy would've been flawless had it not been one that swiftly eats through both his hand and his Life Points, after one turn already at a mere 500. Therefore, he has to also focus on gaining Life Points via many different methods, and has difficulty keeping his own hand in check.

Usually whenever he brings out his Machine Emperor, it's unintentional, though he may choose to destroy his own Toon Realm for it if it fit the duel.

Machine Emperor: Number ∞: Machine Emperor Aquel

Name: Sephora
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown
Personality: If one had to describe Sephora in one short sentence it would narcissistic, sadistic, and nihilistic. Sephora’s is so narcissistic that she actually refuses to believe that the multiverse could actually go on without her, and that she is the supreme force of beauty in this world. She believes that she is perfection in and of itself, and anyone who beholds it will should instantly fall to the ground and worship her as if she was a goddess. This also brings up the point that Sephora has a God Complex. Though Sephora often compares herself to stars, which are credited for their boundless beauty, during all parts of their life and seem ageless in all their majesty. Even in their dying moments stars give off a breathtaking, but deadly beauty, and even the nebulas in which they are formed are almost as beautiful as the young stars they are nurturing within. Like stars as well she believes that nobody can get close to her without getting burned, or blinded by the majesty that is Sephora. Though Sephora loves beauty, she cannot stand to see anyone, but herself hold its secrets and power hating anyone who is thought of as beautiful, or even pretty. Sephora though she credits much of one’s beauty to be on the outside, even she admits that without a pure soul, even with a perfect body, one can never truly be perfect. Sephora’s definition of a pure soul though is much different than the common definition of it. What makes up beauty of the soul to Sephora consists of three things, knowledge, focus, and power of which she has all three; in fact she uses them to the extreme. Sephora surrounds herself with books, scrolls, anything that might have or store some sort any sort of knowledge. She strives to anything there is to know, and is easily infuriated if she finds out there is something that she could possibly not know. She can also become easily distracted by the prospect of furthering her knowledge, and it is within her nature to be curious on just about everything. Focus is Sephora’s second part of spiritual beauty is focus, as one can be truly perfect if they cannot focus on something. At times Sephora can become so focused on something that she will ignore any and all other outside forces. This also ties into goals, if one does not have a goal how do they expect to achieve perfection, as to reach perfection you had to have been striving for it; one does not just come into the state of perfection. Finally Sephora’s final piece of spiritual perfection is power, pure power, which can be in relation to comparing herself to a star. Stars do not meekly just go out like a light bulb, no they are things of immense power, just as Sephora does not ever do anything quietly, and seeks to always draw attention to herself. Sephora also never shows any form of weakness, be it physical or spiritual, which brings one to the next aspects of her personality, which are somewhat related to this one.
The second aspect of her personality is sadistic, and enjoys watching the pain of others, as she feels that all are inferior to her, and deserve nothing less that pain. She seems to feed off of the suffering of others, and at times even thinks it’s funny to watch others writhe in pain. Sephora will go out of her way to give others a hard time, and enjoys messing with people. During duels she will play mind games or bluff her opponent, this combined with the fact that she is already quite intelligent makes Sephora a very deadly opponent. Sephora cares nothing for who or what she has to stomp on to achieve her goals, and if that didn’t already make her cruel, she will not only stomp on anyone or anything in the way of her goals she will utterly destroy them until it is as if there was never an obstacle to her plans at all. Some say that within all villains there is some shred of good within them, this is not the case with Sephora. Sephora’s heart is filled with nothing but evil, she is the definition of pure evil, if any compassion had ever existed within her it is long gone shriveled up from never seeing the light of day. Sephora despises any thoughts of love or goodness, and thinks them to be trivial weaknesses not worth being added to the equation of perfection. In fact Sephora despises the entire human race for one thing, their humanity, she does not understand it, nor does she care to. To Sephora it is only something that makes them weak, and by being weak they are imperfect. Sephora laughs in the face of death and destruction, a disturbed being on the edge of being psychotic, and anyone who dares travel into the depths of her psyche, if one could possibly do that, would come back distorted and disturbed. Her thoughts a myriad of darkness, her soul distorted and her heart a withering crushed thing, whose only love is death.
The final and probably most disturbing part of Sephora’s personality is nihilism, but in a different sense of what most people think it to be. To her the physical means nothing, it is only something that deters one from perfection. To Sephora you must be born with bodily beauty, and altering one’s self in anyway is a mark of imperfection to her, but spiritual beauty was something that must be achieved. To Sephora all others mean nothing unless they are perfect, a few deaths that are nothing, 3,000 deaths is a statistic, and the death of an entire species is an achievement. Sephora is self-serving and unable to contemplate the subjects of love, or how people can feel emotional pain, they are all weaknesses and keep people from achieving perfection.
Biography: Even from conception Sephora was a dark and hateful thing, which even led to upon her birth the death of her mother. From early on Sephora rejected that people like her family could be related to her, as they to her were imperfect. Sephora remained cold and distant from her family, and being young had not set her standards for complete perfection yet. She was a vain and petty child, and Sephora now older, often compares herself at that time in her life to the generic b*tch. She had also not yet gotten her macabre enjoyment of death either, but still had many disturbing practices. Sephora though found that something was missing in her perfection, she needed more. For a while she tried more and more to feel superior to others acting very aloof. All the more she tried though the less and less she felt that she had achieved perfection. Sephora strived for more grasping at anything that might make her perfect, but still she could not achieve perfection. During her adolescence Sephora began to develop the standards she now uses for achieving perfection.
During this time Sephora also began to take on her more disturbing interests, but was not yet nihilistic. Sephora absorbed herself in her studies to gain intelligence, she strived to learn more unable to comprehend that there was something she could not learn. No matter how hard she tried though Sephora always found that there was something missing, and so Sephora set out to find a power that could truly make her perfect. No matter how hard she tried though one thing always stood in her way, and that was her soul, and by extension her feelings. That’s when she found what she was looking for, the power she sought rested in the Meklords, and she was chosen by Sunnel. To her Sunnel spoke that she was worthy to hold him, and then Sunnel offered her the answer to her perfection. She offered him her soul, which Sunnel accepted and Sephora made her transcendence into perfection.
After selling her soul and achieving the power of her Meklord Sephora traveled to Earth, and immediately had a hatred for humanity and its total imperfection. Sephora immeadiately got down to business on destroying the number monsters… which unfortunately for her have been in vain though she has succeeded in getting rid of a few Xyz monsters. Though Sephora is well aware that her comrades goals are not to destroy the human race (as far as she knows anyway) to her it doesn’t hurt to kill a few humans here and there(which she has) as long as it’s all for the sake of destroying the Xyz monsters.
Appearance: Sephora is similar to Astral in many ways, but many things also differentiate between the two. First off Sephora’s body is much more slim, and fitting to someone of her gender. Secondly her body is colored a soft lavender color, with strange markings similar to Astral dotted throughout. After that her body begins to match her personality, Sephora’s eyes are a golden like Astral’s but unlike Astral’s Sephora’s eyes are a pale gold, that seem to boar into and suck your soul. Sephora’s Sephora’s wears a long midnight blue trench coat with a hood, a short frilled dress, and a pitch black high-collared shirt. The high-collar can be pulled up to hide her face in case she wishes to not allow someone to know her identity.

Deck Type: Elemental
Strategy: Sephora’s strategy is to quickly get Doriado onto the field to fuel her monsters effects, also allowing a myriad of other plays at her mainly element focused deck. She will also use Chaos Infinity to revive her Meklord Emperor Sunnel if it is destroyed. She will also use Element Absorber to halt her opponents attacks along with Scroll of Bewitchment to make sure her opponents monster’s attributes remain the same as her own.

Well, since my predecessor number is still open, I guess I'll have to revive the character from last time. I just want to check though, are synchro monsters allowed? They're not going to be the major force they were before, but the deck I want for the character is Synchro based so I want to make sure they weren't supposed to have all been destroyed or something.

Reserving number 36 and a Psychic deck.

ClearAngel: You can still reserve Sunnel. Just remember that you only have one shot with a Meklord user app, so make it count (remember to make it a spirit race like Astral, make sure the appearance, bio and personality are long enough to read the requirements on my end, yada, yada, yada....). Reserve for now.

AixDivadis: As you can see above, custom Numbers are perfectly fine. Just make sure that if you want to use 13, 37, 59 and 85, then you have to stick with the names and stuff that were already decided by the predecessor RP (you can still change the effect, stats and Chaos Form though).

[background=transparent]Name: Nina Oscuri[/background]
[background=transparent]Gender: [/background][background=transparent]Female[/background]
[background=transparent]Age:[/background][background=transparent] 17[/background]
[background=transparent]Faction:[/background][background=transparent] Number Hunter[/background]
[background=transparent]
Nina Oscuri seems, on the outside, dark, cruel, vicious and confident, partially from the influence of her Number, partially as a outer shell to protect herself and hide her inner self. She has an air of regality, holds herself upright and walks as if she owns everything. She will often survey her surroundings like a queen surveying subjects and is quite observant.[/background]

[background=transparent]Nina seldom talks, her voice is quiet but intimidating nevertheless and has an menacing edge to it. When, she does talk, it often is to make mean remarks or boast (not in a loud way, however) and when someone talks back or defends themselves, she will laugh at them, a light evil giggle, telling them that they are ignorant and deluding themselves.[/background]

[background=transparent]Her Number will influence her more during moments of exhilaration or triumph, to the extent where Nina will appear downright sadistic, her words becoming more venomous and taunting and she will seem to enjoy her opponent’s despair. Her eyes will glow ever so slightly.[/background]

[background=transparent]During her moments which she thinks she is alone, she turns out to be a sad and lonely girl. Her voice becomes soft and caring. She has a particular weak spot for cute animals, her secret home is full of her pets. Her hobbies include painting, playing her harp and singing for her animal companions. She turns out to be incredibly protective of those she calls friends.
[/background]
[background=transparent]
Nina Oscuri was born the child of a madman and an unwilling woman. Leon saw something special in the woman which he believed would help his experiments and made her marry him to spare June.[/background]

[background=transparent]Leon’s experiments involved trying to turn Eliza into a Duel Monster, in fact, the ultimate Duel Monster that would allow him to almost instantly win any Duel. Each day, as he failed, he would then subject his wife and daughter to abuse, blaming them for his failure, going into a demonic rage.[/background]

[background=transparent]Finally, Leon gave up on Eliza and was about to [/background][background=transparent]dispose[/background][background=transparent] of her. Nina, having no other way to stop him, activated a cannon that was supposed to transform a being into a card and shot it. Miraculously, it succeeded. Leon and Eliza disappeared, on the floor were the two cards “The Insane Scientist” and “Eliza, Invincible Fiend Knight”.[/background]

[background=transparent]Nina was left all alone to survive. She wandered alone, taunted by the rich kids of New Domino and barely evading capture by police who were to send her to Satellite. During this time, her only companions were the stray cats and dogs, as well as other small animals. Nina stole to survive, but it was not quite enough. Most security in New Domino City was too well designed for Nina to even attempt to get past them.[/background]

[background=transparent]One day, when she was thirteen, by great fortune, she was found and taken in by June. He accepted but was defeated and from him she acquired Number 21: Mystical Cosmic Hurricane.[/background]

[background=transparent]Nina decided to take up the mantle of a Numbers Hunter and seeks the Numbers in pursuit of power. She has so far taken 1 more Number from their unfortunate holder: Number 44: Gravemaster.
[/background]
[background=transparent]
Nina Oscuri is a beautiful teenage girl of medium height and a thin build.
[/background]
[background=transparent]
It will be some dark and scary song, but don’t have one yet.
[/background]
[background=transparent]
Deck Type: Diabella. DARK Spellcaster-Type girls/witches.[/background]
[background=transparent]Strategy: Costs for the effects of “Diabella” monsters are generally banishing “Diabella Jewel” Spell cards which have effects that activate upon banishment.[/background]
[background=transparent]Ace Cards: Diabella Lunia, the Magician; Diabella Jewel - Lunia’s Treasure; Dia Mundus; Diabella Dragon[/background]
[background=transparent]Number Cards: Number 4: Diabella Obsidia, the Shadow; Number 21: Mystical Cosmic Hurricane; Number 44: Gravemaster.[/background]
