Toffee.
This image sucks: Concept was "somewhat" of a game breaker when they first came out, just for shenanigans with Zombies, Chaos monsters, etc, etc. Their engine: Charge + Recharge-spam, is still viable every now and then. They still have a pretty amusing monster lineup: Ryko has Hamster+others, Lyla is an endless Breaker, Ehren laughs at walls, Lumina is a Zombie Master, Celestia is basically a Monarch, etc... Their "boss", ironically, turns the whole deck into a 1-Trick-Pony and holds it back. Despite all this versatility, your main focus is just dropping JD without caring what your monsters can and cant do. -Just for arguments sake, and despite the image, JD doesn't exist in this topic- Discuss Lightsworns, as a whole.
The Hounds Of Anubis
Lightraysworns are a legit decent deck and with the right threat density they aren't nearly as sacky as people make them out to be.

Sora1499
The objective of Lightsworns is to self-mill for various advantage (the most prominent of which is dropping JD). By that definition, gragonith would be the "main boss" of lightsworns, because they all build up to him being at full power. Except, he'd be an extremely mediocre main boss. The fact remains that dropping JD and the lightrays is the main goal of lightsworns. Without beefy powerhouses, like those, the deck can't really do much. Sora1499
So you're saying that they have synergy as an archetype? That may be true, but that synergy is pretty loosely connected.

b0b3rt
Lumina has Synergy. Duh. Also cards outside the archtype that want to be in the grave. Ban JD, put Lumina to 3, SHAZZAM!

Sunshine Jesse
I like LS as an engine but as a standalone deck I despise them A lot of people build them terribly too (see: Wulf)
Aerion Brightflame
I've been testing Lightraysworns for a few days now, and it's actually quite fun. The sheer number of bosses is frightening. It's a shame that people run Wolf, but really after you max all the other good LS... he is the best of the bad bunch. Teching at 1 is the absolute most that should really be run of him.
Sora1499
Wulf would be amazing as a 19 beater if he dropped the nomi clause and did a 2-mill.
-Doodle
The last few comments really surprised me; I never actually played LS but I thought Wulf was one of the good cards, despite it being 'situational'. I thought Lumina would deal with any dead wulves anyway, like all the other 'dead-in-hand' cards LS run(\ran?). Is it a relitively new insight people suddenly had? -- The pic in the OP made me lol. oh, you
