Transition Siding

The act of using the side deck to completly change the deck you used in the previous duel, thus surprising the opponent that's not expecting to face a different deck.

I just wanted to hear some thoughts, opinions, possible ideas and so on.

Smokescreening is when you shuffle your whole side deck into your deck and you take out 15 cards to effectively side out, so your opponent doesn't know how much you're siding out

Are you sure? I even searched the internet about it prior posting the thread, and the results that came up where what I said :O

I've only ever seen or heard of it being used in Rabbit Decks to switch over into Dino Rabbit.

The Side Deck is as, if not more, critical than whatever archetype you're running in Main. This is not a good idea.

 

Unless you have basically no bad matchups you need to deal with, nor do you need extra Spell/Trap destruction.

 

in which case, why would you not use the awesome, uncounterable Deck you already have.

A long time ago I had a Cydra fusion deck that sided into DDT. It's not a good idea for winning tournaments, but it's a really fun gimmick.
