I'm gonna spoiler that just because this episode is so amazing it needs to be seen as a whole instead of just that glorious part. <3

My bad, still, so much epic in this episode. it even beat the manga in terms of WTF/EPIC! moments

I know! The music was used perfectly, imo. The whole thing was animated less confusing than the manga, from what I remember, which helps so much in the epic-ness.
CRAAAAAZY man.

Seriously, damn.

Good episode.

Mikasa was great with her moves and motivation, the traitor titan was great in kicking a*s, whole episode was just great.

I have a feeling this new titan might become the key in their rebellion though, and I feel like that's "cheating" almost. I still want civilization to come up with a better way to revolutionize and overcome the titans without outside help, but that's just me.

Oh, my God! That episode 7! Jeez, I felt like crying when Armin had to tell Mikasa about Eren and when she'd given up. And then that Titan that had the same eyes and such as Eren came in and the whole f*ckin' time, i could feel my heart in my chest. That shit was on another level, def becoming one of my favorite anime.

I'm sorry, this sh*t is just so hype. ಥ_ಥ
I'm thinking that the bigger, skinless titans are original titans and the human-like ones are titans that were produced after previously being humans who were devoured by a titan, and then somehow turned into a titan themselves. That would kinda explain how Eren turned into a titan. The shot thing his dad gave him might've been a thing for him to keep his mind after being eatin and turned. The basement the key goes to might be filled with like titan research or something by the doctor.
I originally thought the Titans might be machines with their hot temperature and indestructibility, but I'm starting to think they're spawned similarly to how zombie apocalypses are. Humans get devoured, then they get pooped out into Titans 8D

So maybe it's a disease or something...
Yeah. Mikasa was GREAT this episode. I really liked how she went from "I have nothing left to live for" to smartening up and continue the fight.

I think i might even prefer Eren as a mute titan. Mikasa can be the main character now.

I wouldn't say that she 'smartened' up. I mean, her entire family is dead, including the man she obviously loved, that would make me give up too, but deciding to live on isn't exactly the smart thing to do. I guess brave would be a better word for it.

And no, Mikasa would make a bad main character, she's too perfect.

I listened to people.
I started watching this.

I want my fugging episode 8, dammit!
I haven't seen the manga, but I agree with Fusion's statement and I saw Kaka's theory. Dammit, spoilers. D: But I agree with it.
This is easily one of my favorites.
dafuq is with all these good anime
i'm not complaining

Also, the two posters (live action version and original anime one) both look awesome. c:

Well, I took a look at the manga a long time ago, though for some reason, I didn't read it (I think I was busy or something and forgot about it), so I suppose I should be glad I didn't.

I'm actually kinda disappointed in the giant transformation, I was hoping for some way which humanity could beat the Titans without relying on supernatural means. I mean like, rather than humanity triumphing over the Titans, it becomes sort of like Titans overcoming Titans.
I actually tried that one show called DooDaDoo the Liberator or whatever, and it was neat, but it was basically just the first episode of Code Geass and a slight call back to the original Gundam anime.

Very, VERY generic.  I'll give it a few more episodes, but so far Titan is like the only thing that even remotely matters.
Also, guys, I am now watching Attack on Titan in 1080p on my 32" in surround sound.

Never going back.
