Once per turn: You can reveal 1 Level 4 or lower "Archfiend" monster in your hand; send the revealed monster to the Graveyard, and if you do, this card's Level becomes equal to the Level of that monster in the Graveyard. If this face-up card you control is used as a Synchro Material Monster for an "Archfiend" Synchro Monster, you can use "Archfiend" monsters in your hand as non-Tuner Synchro Material Monsters.

 

 

 

Sorry if the second line seems a bit wonky; I used T.G. Cyber Magician as a reference.

 

 

Hmm... should I add a clause to this card, or another effect?  Or is this fine as-is?

As for the card, It seems effective enough. It's nice to attempt to make Archfiends a thing. I think it's pretty fair, a discard for a level gain is pretty usual, is it not? The hand summon is also nice, and means you can easily play it into mostly anything. On reflection, it's actually pretty powerful. all in all, nice. As for the OCG, I believe that's the correct way to do it. Don't take my word for it though.

The Synchro Material effect FEELS a little strong but with all the swarming Xyzing archetypes going around, there's no harm in boosting Synchros. Currently aren't there less than 5 Archfiend Synchros(at least 1 of which is a psychic)? Props for supporting Archefiends, but I think you may need just 1 more stipulation for the hand Synchro(LP cost maybe?)

No other stipulation is needed, even with the new coming Archfiend support, this card would be a fair enough backup for Archfiends.

 

On topic:

The card seems legit and, as I said, a good backup for Archfiends. I can't see it being abused and with the coming Archfiend support, they're more oriented to Xyz Summon. In all, it will commonly summon TRA or RAD. Chaos King and Scrap would be a better option thought, they deal with huge monster (Chaos King with it's effect and Scrap with it's ATK).

 

The concept is pretty good but Archfiends are in need of more support than this card.
