A few Finishing touches to Work with Skull Knight #2

Recommended Posts

Last year I had decided to make some support for the Skull Knights(mostly #2). Since then I have made some more supports that work pretty well actually(on Duel Portal at least). I'm bringing them here for some balancing of the newer editions.
Any monster that battles a Level 3 Fiend-Type monster you control is Banished after the Damage Step. When this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard: Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower DARK Fiend-Type monster from your deck.

concerns: the SS might be too general, but its also relatively specific
When you Normal Summon this monster, you can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower "Skull Knight" monster from your hand. If a card(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or by a card effect, you can Tribute this card instead.

concerns: ATK might be a little high when compared with its effects

You can Special Summon this monster from your hand in face-up Attack Position by Tributing 1 "Skull Knight" monster you control. When this monster is Special Summoned, you can add 1 Level 4 or lower DARK monster from your deck or graveyard to your hand.

concerns: does relatively little, but it has a pretty broad search that should probably be toned down.

0cW7wob.jpg
The Tribute Summon of this monster cannot be negated. If you Tribute Summon this monster by Tributing a "Skull Knight" monster, Shuffle that card into your deck, then draw 1 card. This card gains 300 ATK for each Fiend-Type monster you control, and 200 ATK for each Zombie-Type monster you control.

concerns: can get to a 3200 total, which is mostly unlikely.

1 Fiend-Type Tuner + 1 or more "Skull" monsters

When you Synchro Summon this monster, Special Summon 1 Non-Effect "Skull Knight" monster from your Extra Deck. While this card is face-up on the field, double any battle damage inflicted by Non-Effect monsters.

+ other than "Ride in on Nightmare" and "Authority over Death" from the previous archetype,

this might be the first support for the Skull Knight Fusion monster.

concerns: pulls a Level 7 Fusion monster with relative ease.

1 DARK "Skull" monster + 1 "Nightmare Horse"

You can Fusion Summon this monster by shuffling the above Fusion Material into your deck(you do not use Polymerization). When this monster is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Skull Knight" monster from your hand or graveyard. Your Level 3 Fiend-Type monsers can attack your opponent directly. If another "Skull Knight" monster(s) would be removed from the field by a card effect, you can Tribute this card instead.

4kRmXPz.jpg
If you Tribute Summon this monster the tribute must be Fiend-Type. Increase the ATK and DEF of your Fiend-Type monsters by 400. Your Level 3 and lower "Skull Knight" monsters can attack twice during the Battle Phase.

z5Mgqt2.jpg
1 DARK Tuner + 1 or more DARK "Skull" monsters
When your opponent activates a Spell or Trap Card effect inflict 500 Damage to them. Once per turn, when a Level 5 or lower "Skull Knight" monster destroys a monster as a result of battle, activate 1 of these effects:
* Target 1 "Skull" monster in your graveyard; place it atop your deck.
* Draw 1 card.

8eFPSJs.jpg
1 Level 5 or higher "Skull Knight" monster + 1 Level 3 "Skull Knight"
Must first be Summoned from the Extra Deck by Banishing the above Fusion Material from the field. Your Level 7 and lower "Skull Knight" monsters are unaffected by your opponent's card effects. If this monster would be removed from the field by a card effect, you can Banish 1 other monster you control instead
