Aix
Is the name supposed to refer to the fact that he can't take a punch? When this card is targeted for an attack: Destroy this card. When this card is sent to the Graveyard by a card effect: You can target 1 "Battlin' Boxer" monster in your Graveyard, except "Battlin' Boxer Glassjaw"; add that target to your hand. Anyway, discuss. Cute Rotten Yoshika
yes. especially in the anime, where he didnt have that sweet recycling effect. he got a huge buff for the irl release. p much all of them did. OT: its hard to call any one card the centerpiece of their deck (outside of leadblow cuz were talking main deck atm) because they all work so well together. which is good. its nice when cards are designed to be very synergistic. Premier Alexander Romanov
Yes. "Glass jaw" in boxing refers to the ability for a boxer to withstand blows, or, in this case, lack thereof. If you have a glass jaw, it doesn't take much to knock you out. Which is further exemplified by the silver section of his face. This monster literally has a glass jaw. However, Glassjaw joins a growing trend of "powerful LV4 beaters that destroy themselves, but turn that destruction into a bonus", like Heraldic Beast Leo. The de-nerf is what the card needed, making it a required addition to a Battlin' Boxer deck.
