Cybreem archetype - Cyberpunk style.

First of all: A huge thank you to Tormented, for both his outstanding image design, and for coming up with the concept in the first place. I owe you one, pal.

Secondly: This is a set of cards focusing on a Futuristic, Cyberpunk theme. As such, I tried to work an idea of upgrades and enhancements into the effects and general flavour, which equated to an LV style system, and a a sort of discard = complimentary effect.

They have a wide range of aggressive effects on offer, and I hope they're balanced and versatile.

As usual: Reps for feedback!

You want a review, you've got one. =3
Sifter: He seems pretty straightforward, nice high ATK and an effect giving you the ability to quash the standard Lv4 or below monsters and stomp your opponent's Xyz opportunities out early. I like that. That last effect is interesting, but since this is the first card I've read, I'll make a general analysis of that in the "Overall" spoiler.

Blaster: I am getting the feel these monsters are heavy on attacking, as well as "discard for battle phase perks" which is an interesting concept to say the least. She'd enjoy Sifter's bonus obviously. Right now, I am thinking that these'll need a Draw engine in order to sustain their effects.

Bruiser: His name is misleading; I would've expected even more attack! XD Anyway, his effect is certainly flavourful and could come really helpful in a pinch, leaving 400 ATK bruises on his opponents.

Striker: He's this Deck's staple, as his effect will offer your monsters the protection they need to resist the Battle Phase backrow threats. Very nice and standard, no real issues there. Solid ATK and reasonable DEF for his level, I like.

Strifer: You probably know that the "Attack Direct via effect" perk is always a touchy area. I'd advise not allowing this card to target herself. Otherwise, she's absolutely gorgeous and would be very supportive for her comrades.

Slicer: He's possibly as staple-worthy as Striker in this archetype, as being able to fish out new soldiers or fodder is interesting. I could see this as potentially dangerous, but on its own and in this set he's pretty nice.

Stalker: He's very interesting. His effects are A-OK, and he's balanced. While being able to Special Summon him from the Deck in 2 turns is worrying, and his recovery effect when destroyed might be risky, he does act as somewhat of a Draw engine and banishing this with, say, Dimensional Prison acts as a suitable counter-effect. He's good. He's also an Xyz enabler which is always fun.

Pilfer: He's definitely on the "Very Good|Broken" fence. His first effect is an OTK enabler, since it allows all of your already very strong monsters to attack twice (as well as having ATK that can run over many boss monsters in this Meta) as well as being able to reinforce your monsters by bringing out Sifter who might be able to satisfy the ATK loss. His last effect is okay, an can miss a target, but I would advise either removing an effect, or nerfing him with a clause or something. He's very powerful, potentially broken.

Sabler: He's a lovely card, what more need be said? Potentially staple-worthy even outside this Deck.

Slasher: Again, his attack might be too high to deem this card balanced. If he lost 100 ATK, that'd be fine, but I'm just not sure at the moment.

Overall I like these guys and find that, coupled with some "The Fabled" tuners could provide some very devastating combinations that not only enable competition in the current metagame, but also could bring Synchro Monsters back into the game. There are very few worrying cards that need to be addressed, and that is always bound to happen with stronger cards, but otherwise this set is very flavourful, very aggressive and very interesting to say the least. I enjoyed reviewing them, no doubt about it.

1291131680_two-thumbs-up.jpg
Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. I'll definitely make a couple of changes; I'm sure you'll agree that it's a delicate balancing act for some of the bigger cards. I think a bit of toning down for the big hitters will work wonders. I hadn't thought of Fableds, but that's a great point. I'll nerf Pilfer, and generally clean the up. I'm glad you like them, and thanks again.
