If I could post again just to spite you I would. Valuing the top of the page is ridiculous. <3

True enough, but keeping things at the top of the pages makes everything cleaner, so everyone notices it instead of skidding past it.

Oh well. Nobody post after Mugendramon, because I'm preparing my own post, m'kay~?

FFR, why didn't Matthew and Nero not respond to Tsunugai. My last post clearly was meant to get their attention. Just Sai- *shot*

Okay Merciful, you had a point. I'll try to stop.

I just made a post.

Well, I decided that keeping a demon summoner to only 1 demon is quite a stupid idea (and made the point of being a demon summoner moot), so I decided to update Kazuya's application with additional demons. Also, edited a bit of Tenshi's application to give some more clearance on some of her abilities.

[spoiler=The Girl of Neither Perception or Non-Perception]

Application:

"A celestial descends onto Earth to give advice. Buuuut, for me they're all advice that can't be put to action."

Username: Renko Usami

Name: Tenshi Hinanai

Age: Unclear, more than 100 years old to be sure

Gender: Female

Appearance: [spoiler=Image]konachan-com-150917-animal-bird-blue_hai

Origin: http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Tenshi_Hinanawi

Biography:

Another calm day in Gensokyo. Everything was going really well until the people of the moon, the Lunarian, declared that they will purge the land covered with filth and promptly started an invasion. As the protector of the land, Reimu Hakurei, marched to face the invading army, a dimensional rift opened nearby and sucked her precious artifact, the Hakurei Yin-Yang Orb. Without it, Reimu couldn't stop the invaders from purging the land from imperfection, killing many of Gensokyo's residents.

The Celestials and the Dragon God of the land decided to do something extreme to stop the conflict; they decided to lift the keystone that held Gensokyo together.. That action created a huge catastrophe that managed to remove the threat of the invaders, but left the land uninhabitable, and the heaven barely standing.

Tenshi then was frustrated that she had no other choice but to stick with a land devoid of life and excitement. She even thought to discard her Celestial identity and just stop living in a world that can only bore her. In her unclear state of mind, a lady bearing the name Isamy appeared in front of her, offering a chance to recreate everything, making a world without boredom, something that Tenshi had always desired. She immediately accepted the offer without any second thought.

Personality:

Had a sheltered upbringing. Selfish. Top of the world.

She is very earthy for a celestial, and lacks charisma.

That's not surprising, however, because she became a celestial only because the entire Hinanawi family became celestials when her father became a divine spirit. Therefore, she lacks awareness of being a celestial.

An overly well-endowed environment obviously had a negative effect on Tenshi's childhood.

She doesn't consider what her actions mean to other people, for one.

She has absolute confidence in her abilities, and gets mad if someone insults them.

Faction: The Divine

Important Artifact Stolen: The Hakurei Yin-Yang Orb

Powers/Equipment:

-Manipulation of Earth and Soil: Tenshi has the ability to invoke or suppress an earthquake. Although the effective area is quite small, she can cause an earthquake in several remote areas at once. This ability also allows her to cause disasters such as subsidence or mudslide. The earthquake does not need to happen in the actual surface of earth, she can invoke an earthquake in almost all solid platforms, except organic structures that do not directly contacts stone, rock, or soil platforms. This power is also useless on a metallic platform.

-The Sword of Hisou (緋想の剣, Hisou no Tsurugi, lit. Sword of Scarlet Perception): A Celestial relic. The spiritual nature evoked by the sword takes the form of weather, which is why it somehow looks flexible. Also, spirits slashed by the sword and the mixture of the emotions of all living beings in the sky are manifested by the sword as scarlet mist. This mist can be used to influence and control the weather. The shape-shifting properties of the sword mean that Tenshi can keep it anywhere on her body without taking up space. And yes, she can summon weathers indoors, but the weather will disappear sooner compared to outdoors.

-Tenshi is quite skilled with the sword, but compared to the actual sword masters, she lacked a lot of skill. Her main strength came from the continuous juggling between waves and waves of projectiles and close physical assaults, while manipulating the battlefield to her own interest.

-From the scarlet energies released and gathered from her sword, she can create blasts of scarlet energy to inflict grievous wounds to her opponents, and she can gather the energy into a gigantic laser-like stream of scarlet bullet, but this took a lot of focus and drains her energy by a lot.

-The Keystone is a holy object that can (among other properties) invoke or suppress earthquakes. It is heavy object made of black granite.

Tenshi uses keystones in a number of ways, including: as projectile, as a cushion to sit on, as a bludgeon to attack with, and also as a familiar-like weapon. Due to her not being in Gensokyo, Tenshi couldn't summon the bigger keystones, but the smaller one is still somewhere in her arsenal.

-Being a Celestial, Tenshi is quite resistant to physical attacks, and her blood is poisonous to demons. Though, the resistance often made her too reckless in fights, and she's prone to taking more damages than necessary because of that.

[spoiler=The Champion of Balance]Application:

"..................."

Username: Renko Usami

Name: Kazuya

Age: Physically 18, actual age is around the 50 or 60s

Gender: Male

Appearance: [spoiler=Image links]http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120921120531/megamitensei/images/0/05/Kazuya_render.png (casual)

http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120921125152/megamitensei/images/0/0d/Kazuya_render_2.png (mission)

Origin: http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Protagonist_(Shin_Megami_Tensei)

Biography:

One unfortunate day, Kazuya was doing a mission to subjugate some demons in a remote dungeon, along with several of his trusted companions. Unknown to him, there were several traitors among the ranks, with the mission specifically to kill him.

When the party was resting inside the dungeon, the traitors launched a surprise attack, killing Kazuya’s entire retainer, and left Kazuya to bleed to death. Kazuya could then hear a faint laugh, continued with a conversation among the traitors on how they will take control of Kazuya's city from him, and how they will start enacting YHVH's grand plan of creating the One-Thousand Year Kingdom, basically tuner all that Kazuya had done until the point meaningless, as humanity would once again lost their sense of self in the hands of Heaven.

Drowning in hopelessness as he started to slowly fade away into oblivion, someone suddenly appeared in front of Kazuya. A man with an almost woman-like slender figure, dressed in the apparel of a king, a king of the legends to be more exact. The man, with a feminine yet a deep and dignified voice, introduced himself as Arturia, and he then offered Kazuya a second chance to save his world, in exchange for his help defending the multiverse.

At first Kazuya was hesitant, but with him being almost dead and having no other choices, he accepted Arturia's offer. He was then immediately warped out of the dungeon.

Personality:

Quite a silent fellow, he prefers actions over mere words, He disliked popularity and admiration, thinking that it'll only ruin someone in the end.

A firm believer of neutrality, he believes that the human race shouldn't be controlled by any other otherworldly power, and that they should be able to decide their own fates. This is one of the reason why he kind of hated the idea of helping the king figure at first, though by realizing that this might be a way for him to actually removes outside power from affecting humans in his world once and for all.

He's the type of person that will not stop at anything to reach his goal, no matter how many life he should take, no matter how many bonds he has to break to achieve it. He didn't quite liked company, preferring to do things alone, mainly since his two friends ended up being his enemy and has to be killed by his own hands, and the string of betrayal that often happened to him.

He's quite skilled with using speech to persuade both humans and demons alike to join his cause, and this is something that made him survive most of the trials in his life.

Faction: The Counter Corps

Important Artifact Stolen: The Angel's Ring and the Devil's Ring

Powers/Equipment:

-Demon Summoning: Kazuya's main strength. He can summon multiple demons using his COMPs, and he can fuse them into a stronger demon, but that function is lately has never been used. Though, he usually summoned his dog fused with a demon, Pascal. Due to the dungeon accident, he had lost access to most of his other demons due to an error in his COMP.

[spoiler=Demon's stats]

Pascal: Pascal is the loyal dog that has been with Kazuya for all of his life. Pascal excels in Physical attacks and has a higher than average physical durability and speed, though his defense for magic is quite miniscule. He has a crippling weakness to ice attack, but fully immune to Fire and Dark-based attacks. He can also use fire magic, but not quite strong at that.

Beelzebub: The lord of the flies. Beelzebub is capable of unleashing really powerful attacks, and it excels in using instant death spells, that quite effective against holy enemies. Despite its massive power, Kazuya cannot summon it for a long period of time, due to it needing a lot of magnetite (demonic energy) to maintain.

Kikuri-hime: The goddess of love, live, and bindings. She’s a total supportive type of demon, and has the capability to use potent healing spells, and ability to cure many diseases, curses, and negative statuses. She even has the access to reviving spells, though most does not have the ability to revive an actually dead human to life. She’s really frail though, and one strong physical attack is quite enough to remove her from the equation.

Odin: The Allfather in Norse mythology. He has access to powerful ice, wind, and electric elemental attacks that can hit a wide area. Odin is quite dependent of his spiritual energy, and will ran out of it quite often.

Michael: The field commander of the army of God, and pretty much hated Kazuya's guts after his bitter defeat in the Cathedral of Tokyo, but now he's on a barely functional alliance with Kazuya. Really powerful, fully immune to LIGHT and DARK based attack, resistant to most elemental attacks, reflects fire based attack to its source, and onl weak to Ice. Most of his attacks are unresistable, or obscenely powerful attacks. Same as Beelzebub, Kazuya cannot maintain summoning him in the bounds of his COMP for too long.

-Negotiation and translation: He quite excels at negotiating with anyone and anything, persuading them to give him items or joining his cause. Though, ones in the more extreme sides can resist his offers quite easily. This can be achieved through his COMP, which has an built-in automatic translator, that worked even for demonic language.

-Hinokagutsuchi: His strongest sword with an elemental affinity to Fire. Made from the fusion of a demon and a legendary divine sword, the sword can pretty much devastate anything it hits, and being quite light, Kazuya can use it for many maneuvers and combinations attacks.

-Peacemaker: His strongest machine gun. Its terrible hit percentage is offset by the fact that it's really strong when it connects, and the fact that it has practically infinite ammunition due to it being made from the lingering demonic energy made physical.

-Item usage: As the attackers forgot to take away his items, he has loads of healing items for his team's use.

[spoiler=Item List]-Soma(Full recover HP/MP single target): 5x

-Hiranya(Recover HP/MP single target): 6x

-Hand of Asura(Recover HP all allies): 3x

-Nyorai Statue(Revives self when dying): 1x

-Indulgence(Escapes an enemy): 2x

-Hangon Incense(Revives and Fully heals an ally): 2x

-Pentagram(Casts a magic-reflect barrier to allies, last for one hit): 2x

Can't wait to start exploring the 'planet' and entering into conflicts. But, just curious. So far, how many CC members that already jumped into the portal? Seems like most are still in the castle.

Just you, I think. I can see the Champion app fine.

...

Anyway BOOM. Next arc's started--- wait what do you mean there aren't any maps? Erm, yeah, an unexpected problem just popped up with the two sphere map thingies I prepared. Turns out that Windows XP on a four-year-old laptop really is superior to Windows 7 on a brand new computer, so no more computers for me. But on the minus side, I'll have to make the maps again, and my laptop doesn't load the necessary thing fast enough.

Until then, I'm afraid you guys will have to run with nothing but the knowledge that the two sides are assigned "Day" and "Night", and that both go down to E7 in terms of panels ^_^;

I'm a bit confused about the location 'tiles'. Is it similar to chess, or is it something completely different? (on an unrelated note, XP is always the best windows version ever).

Not really, they just show location. So you know where everyone else, how to reach them, how close they are to you, and the distance it'll take to reach them (each tile is around a few kilometers in length, ). That way, things don't get cluttered and everyone doesn't end up confused.

In the maps, there was also supposed to be a mini-ocean (more of a lake) and a kind of ravine, but since I can't remember where I put them anymore, you'll have to use your own imagination for now while I start all over again.

I'll split up my character most likely, though I'll want to know about the map.

  A B C D E A B C D E
1[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]1
2[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] N[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]2
3[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]D I[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]3
4[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]A G[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]4
5[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]Y H[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]5
6[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] T[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]6
7[ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]7

If say, Shannon leaves A1 on the night side of the map heading up and right... where does she end up?  I'm just curious as to what kind of projection you used, that's all.

Cool.
Also, Mugen, Clerano is able to keep track of the spells that he had cast. If he uses something else aside from himself to cast the spells, he can track that item, but only to a general area, after which he has to use other means to find the spelled item.

It's kind of like Shadow's ability to track down the chaos emeralds, but less specific in nature.

If Shannon were to go upward from A1 on the night side, she would end up in E1 on the day side, or the other side. Then, since she's going right (from her POV), she'll go further into the dayside north pole, going from Day E1 to Day D1.

Imagine them as two different sides of a coin if that helps. If you''re on heads and you flip it upside-down, you get an upside-down tails. To be honest, it is a little complex to include the poles in this.
