I've been away for a while. What's going on in the castle? I'm asking because I talked with TF and I think we're ready to enter the fight.

(Also, how's Xeta doing? Still getting his butt handed to him?)

But, Arc 1's almost over .-.

Oh well, it doesn't really matter~ continue your own plans as usual, and once Eria/Jin's battle with Gagagigo/Professors breaks down the secret wall, I'll just interrupt every single subplot that's currently going on.

>:/  I'll kill you both.   I'm kidding, but NO T-REX KENPACHI.  . . . .maybe.  . .  .possibly. . . . okay it can happen.  But only if I get to eat someone.

Alias: The Renegade Joker
Age: ?
Gender: Assumed to be male
Date of Birth: ?
Blood Type: ?
Faction: The Divine
Origin: Jokers Underground Link
Important Artifact: Soul Gem
[spoiler=Appearance]The Renegade Joker's clothes represent his state of depravity, which is shown in his black cloak, with vivid purple patterns over the forearm area of the sleeve and on the sides of the bottoms. His eyes now glow occasionally, adding to an even more unnatural and disturbing look. The Joker usually keeps the hood down to conceal his appearance, and the shade created by the hood makes a terrifying contrast between his glowing eyes. The cloak has a dark gray zipper down all the way to the bottom, with two collar strings on wither side, and a band of metal around the neck portion of the cloak. Black gloves can be seen over his hands, made of some formfitting fabric, and he wears fitting black boots out of what appears a soft but shiny, black leather with metal bottoms. A strange collar is seen to be worn, but can only be seen when his hood is down, and it appears as if it's made out of some otherworldly black metal that seems to ripple slightly when he moves about…

[spoiler=Personality]The Renegade Joker is rarely seen or met by anyone, but sometimes, you might feel an eerie sensation of being watched, but find no one there when you turn to look. He lurks around, gathering information, and rarely speaks.

When he does deal with a few people every so now and then, he usually does all his work through his powers and gestures. Even the high-ranking people he deals with are treated with disregard though, and the Joker couldn't care less who he talks to with the same apathetic, uncaring attitude. Although nearly everything is hidden under the hood covering his face all the time, the Joker can have sudden flashes of deadly anger, and those who repeatedly bother him, or worse, try to pull his hood off can be on the receiving side of that anger.

Those who deal with the Renegade, as he is called know naught to try to ask or pry anything of him, which is a wise choice, because those who happen to tend to go missing. The Renegade isn't necessarily a tyrant, but has a silent and deadly well of feelings and power that would be much scarier than any tyrant one could probably imagine. A tyrant might be a towering dragon, but the Renegade is the corrupt snake that could be its worthy match…

A fight occasionally breaks out between the Renegade and somebody else, but unless the other being has a fair amount of power, the battle, if you could call it that, lasts only a couple of seconds, before the loser chokes on their own blood and dies.

The extremely few fights that happen between someone of power and him are a spectacle to behold, because the Renegade is matching someone of an actually notable amount of strength, and the cruel anger that erupts from the cloaked figure is absolutely terrifying, almost to the point that the very air feels oppressive. The Renegade has yet to fight someone who could beat him, but this is more or less due to the fact that only new beings and fools are the ones to challenge him, and they do not have very much power, even if they have a somewhat decent amount. The contempt and sinister depravity can be seen through the style and power he wields, and the ever glowing red eyes of this enigmatic figure strikes fear into the hearts of his enemies.

The motives of the Renegade are not well known, but it seems he has some kind of urge for revenge against something…

[spoiler=Biography](Nobody but the Renegade knows of this, and even his memories are starting to slightly fade, to his distress)
The Renegade Joker was a normal person like any other guy on the block back in his home world once. The Joker was a male named Mashiro, a white-haired 17 year-old who had been held back once for violence after bully had provoked him. The only thing that was really eye-catching were his vibrant red eyes and a black collar with cords that led into his ears, besides his aforementioned white hair. He was a rebel of sorts, but managed to maintain a good grade, and had a few friends which he held very closely, as these were true friends that would stand together for anything. However, these friends didn't live nearby him, but unfortunately, a group of bullies did, and unknowingly set in motion a change that would turn the friendly but wary 17 year-old's life upside down.

(Warning: Sort of a short story-like form and is pretty long. Also, no one but the bullies themselves and Mashiro know of this, as neither could or would report it, and Miara couldn't either. Note: It is a copy-paste from the PM.)
[spoiler=Circumstances of Death]Mashiro doesn't trust easily, but his one exception was his downfall, you could say… Mashiro was pacing home from high school after one day, and he took a quick break to grab some lunch, and was sitting out on a bench, when a little girl who appeared around 9 ran up to him and took the sandwich he happened to buy, and quite predictably, Mashiro became annoyed and stood up wearily to go take it back. Looking for the girl, she was already disappearing around the corner, and Mashiro started pursuing her, because although he could buy another one, he wasn't the type of person to give up, or give away free food for that matter either.

Eventually and expectably, Mashiro caught up with her, and realized she already consumed the sandwich and became quite a bit annoyed, but wondering why she was just wandering around in the first place without any parents, he asked a few questions. Her name was Miara Uchidome, she was 10, and she didn't have any idea of what parents were, saying she never knew her parents after Mashiro explained what they were. Considering the situation, Mashiro went to turn her in to a custody where they could handle it after orphanage procedures or something.

Arriving at the police center, he notified the police of everything he remembered, and turned around to hand over Miara to them, when he realized she wasn't there. After looking for her for a couple of minutes, the police laughed at him and told him to stop wasting their time, so, annoyed, but relieved that he didn't have to take care of her or whatever, he turned and went home.

Mashiro slammed his apartment door shut and lied down on the couch, rather tired from having had to follow some random little girl around and walk all the way to the police department just to realize she was missing when he heard a quite rather familiar voice. Opening his eyes, he saw the girl's face hovering right above his and yelled, sitting up, and yelling again when their heads collided. Really starting to get tired of this little girl following him around everywhere, he picked her up by the scruff of the neck and started to walk her to the department again, when she started to cry when he said he's leaving her. In a moment of good-heartedness, he decided to take her in because he really didn't think he'd be happy with just getting a kid torn from him and put in some orphanage, because in that short time, even if he hadn't gotten friendly, she made a noticeable impression on his life. Also, she did provide some happiness, and wasn't biased or anything about his disability or such, and that was more than he could find in most people.

Taking her in, he took care of her, leaving her with some books and food while he was at school, and feeding her and playing whatever games she wanted to to keep her happy. Mashiro would've steadfastly denied it, but he enjoyed the feeling of a companionship, in truth.

However, it just couldn't have gone perfectly, could it? Around a couple of months after he first met Miara, he ran into an old and unwelcome face, who happened to belong to a rather violent bully while walking home from school later than usual due to some delays with the bus traveling. Mashiro would've probably been able to take this bully, and was moving to do so when he realized two of the bully's oversized gorilla friends were also there, and realized he probably wouldn't. Never the type to give up though, he still got ready to fight, and was about to start pummeling the bully, who once again wanted money. Knowing the bully though, Mashiro would've still been beaten had he given the money. Mashiro had beat the bully up respectively quite a few times for repeatedly troubling him, and the bully wanted revenge.

As it seemed, fate itself seemed to have been having a bad day, because just then, Miara had walked out of his apartment looking for Mashiro, clearly calling out his name, loud enough even all the bullies could hear. It was a simple situation for them. Obviously, this punk kid would know this little tiny girl, who's vulnerable. So, hold the girl as hostage as leverage over the punk. The bully's two friends weren't going to do anything more than just rough-up the two kids, and neither were their ringmaster, but what happened afterwards changed all their lives… forever.

Getting in a rage when he saw that they were going to hurt Miara, he charged at the oafish leader who's name was Dezmond. With a sudden blinding punch, he smashed Dezmond's face with a rather strong punch, and in turn, enraged Dezmond. The key part to what would become a major event was surprisingly, Dezmond's birthday. Being 18, his parents decided to get him a revolver, but gave strict instructions to never use it badly or take it outside of the house, but unfortunately for the parents, they never knew of their son's bully-like side. When Dezmond received a sudden blinding pain from having his nose broken, he threw away his plans to just rough-up the two, and took out his revolver which he cocked and held up to Miara's head, to the surprise of all 3 other people. He demanded Mashiro stand down, and in what seemed an indefeatable situation, he appeared to stand down, just long enough to make the three bullies relax their guard. Yelling suddenly, he startled Dezmond with a lightning-fast kick to his ribs to try to knock the wind out of the bully to kick the gun away… and in his sudden shock… the bully's finger jolted…

Every moment was burned into his memory permanently. In what seemed like an eternity, the events all replayed… Mashiro lunging forward with a kick that would've knocked Dezmond's breath out, to get the gun out of the way… Dezmond yelling… A sudden gasp… A bulky finger suddenly twitching in surprise… a piece of metal being pressed… a spring being released with a tiny, minuscule sound… a hammer striking a metal cartridge with a surprisingly loud sound… the hiss of a spark… an explosion split seconds later… the softer explosion of gas short after… a mild keening sound from the bullet spinning against grooves… the bullet leaving the barrel… tearing through the air… inching closer… closer… closer… kissing the side of Miara's head… the side of her head exploding in a gush of blood, gore, flesh, bits of skull and brain out of a hole bored by death… the bullet driving through her head… the other side of her head  tearing open as the bullet rips out… A stunned expression flashing across all five faces… Dezmond dropping the revolver and Miara… Mashiro's face tightened… Yelling out her name… "MIARA!" … Catching the falling body just before it hits the ground… The 3 bullies' faces turning white… Expletives ringing through the air from the two helpers at their leader… Dezmond collapsing to his knees… Mashiro cradling the body… Blood pouring down all over Mashiro's clothes and onto the ground… An empty face, unable to accept what happened… Dezmond yelling suddenly, and picking up the revolver once more… Aiming at Mashiro, before shooting… Mashiro turning to see a bullet aimed at his forehead… Eyes widening… The bullet smashing into Mashiro… sending him flying back… thudding into the ground… two pools of sanguine… Dezmond turning and fleeing the scene… the two accomplices soon following after…

(Again, only known by the Renegade himself)
[spoiler=How He Became the Renegade]After he had died, Mashiro woke up with a gasp in Limbo. He was a Spirit, fully retaining all memories of his former life. Knowing of what happened, he desperately looked around for Miara, but to no avail. Asking around the other Spirits and Devils, he questioned on how to become more powerful, as to be able to not let something like this ever happen to him again - and one day, hope to revive Miara as she was before all this had happened. Led to a Spirit that had halfway decayed into a Devil, with his darkness curled around him in the form of a dragon, Mashiro once again pleaded to him. The being was actually also a Joker as well however, but a very cruel and corrupted one, hidden behind a kind face and honeyed words. After listening to his pleas, the Joker granted him a portion of his soul, as to transform Mashiro. However, knowing how this could influence him, he gave Mashiro almost his entire soul, filled with pure darkness, leaving behind an empty husk of the original Joker. As Mashiro consumed it, the effects resounded through his body, filling him with agonizing pain as the darkness threatened to overtake him, and he knew he had been taken advantage of at that moment. Screaming with raw anger and power, a black and purple explosion rocked that area of Limbo, decimating everything nearby and blowing the nearby beings away. In the center of that crater, a new being of almost pure darkness emerged, formed from the hellish fusion of the two souls…

Combat Information

[spoiler=Weapon]Hand Sonic: The Renegade Joker is able to summon - from either arm - a solid ink-black blade that appears from matter that he can draw in to create it. The blade attains mild properties of what was used to draw it in. For example, if it was taken from fire, it might burn or set alight what it cuts.

The following listed things may not be considered strictly as weapons, but combined with other things, it could be counted perhaps by some.

Collar Device: A strange device made out of a metal that gleams like obsidian, but exudes a feeling of hatred and causes those who come near it to feel an uncontrollable sensation of fear. When the Renegade Joker fights, it seems to glow with a crimson hue around the edges. It seems to provide the Joker his power, but this is unknown, but some say they had seen the device repeatedly last around 15 minutes while fighting, and then the Joker seems unable to fight, or somehow disabled for around 30 minutes before being back to normal. However, with no credible proof, this is unproven.

Intelligence and Cunning: The Joker has a high intelligence from what is seen, and can be undeniably cunning when it needs to, setting up elaborate and deadly plans which usually result in its target's destruction.

Fighting Style: The Joker can move around fluidly, and has no hesitation against fighting dirty when it so benefits him, and can and will utilize all sorts of tricks such as feigning a surrender then attacking when the person's guard is down.

Marksmanship: Extremely proficient in firearms, he can finish off a round of practice in 70 seconds with his weak hand. A person has overheard once that reloading a gun in 2 seconds with one hand was too slow for him, but the person is not available for interview.

Machine Ingenuity: He is competent with various technologies and machines, able to create things and modify things to his likings without many flaws.

There are probably more undocumented things, but none else have been noted so far with credible proof.

[spoiler=Powers]Phasing: As a Joker, it is able to utilize Phasing to go between the two realms at will. Strangely, unlike the usual phasing by just disappearing after a while, it seems to focus for a short while (around 10 seconds) before a smoky black substance spreads out in a roughly oval shape around his feet, and it swirls up and around him, before disappearing in a column of the same substance which dissipates after a short while, and the Joker himself vanishing. It is not known if it is just a portal, or he goes with the ashy substance itself into the air.

Spatial Shift: A common ability among human and spirit Jokers, this power allows for Jokers to perform extraordinary feats of acrobatics such as jumping incredibly high and far, dodging speeding objects and attacks, levitating and flying, and even instant teleporting by means of manipulating space. When using Spatial Shift, a Joker displaces his/her position in space and shifts himself/herself to a new part of space. This shift can be gradual (a high jump) or instant (teleportation) and will appear accordingly. A Joker can also suspend his/her position in space (levitation) and continue to move while still being suspended (flying). Each shift (except for suspended shifts) is accompanied by the flickering of a golden luminescence under a Joker's feet. Strangely, unlike the usual Joker's Spatial Shift's flickering, the glow is an ugly purple-black, writhing under his feet.

Vectorizer: This Joker is noted to have the power over the vectors of things, which are the properties of magnitude and direction. The Joker can use this very fluidly, almost as if it was part of his body - which it could arguably be. Without hesitation or falter, the Renegade can utiilize the moves he has with deadly power and precision. It seems the Joker doesn't know it himself, but there is much more potential he can unlock with this power, but so far, the only ones he've achieved in his current level are listed below in bold, but even those he's achieved are at a low level only and for short periods of time depending on the drain required.
[spoiler=Achieved Vector Manipulation Powers]Mugen Sokudo (無限速度 Lit. Infinite Speed): Although it is not literally an infinite speed (as of yet), it could potentially go to that if it weren't for other limiting factors as of yet, like his collar restriction and his power level. However, he can still achieve deadly speeds by manipulating the magnitude of his movement, so with something as simple as a small jump, he can fly through the air like a bullet. It is unknown whether it actually is around the speed of a bullet, but rumors say it surpasses it. This is a drain on his collar, but not too much, but still a noticeable amount (around a minute to go ~150 feet in around 1-2 seconds).

Kami no Te (神の手 Lit. God's Hand): He utilizes his control over the magnitude vector, and uses miniature scale moves like gently kicking the ground or stomping gently, then accelerates the vectors to create lethal effects. With enough force, he can kick something, for instance, a train trail and send around a 10 feet section of it ripping out and flying towards the enemy, pinpoint. This is what appears to be the most used active skill, and it creates about the same drain as Mugen Sokudo does.

Tenshi no Tate (天使の盾 Lit. Angel's Shield):  Using his control of direction vectors, the Joker can redirect all vectors that would hit him if there were no shield like this. This barely drains at the Joker's strength in the human world mostly, as bullets are most common, and he can escape if he somehow manages to get into a situation where bigger weapons come into play. Bullets from almost any kind of handheld gun can be deflected to the point they fly back just as fast in the exact same direction. Unarmed fighting has no effect, as the harder they attempt to hit, the harder they will get hit back, and the base power of a physical blow is minor compared to a bullet, which the Joker can easily deflect. However, this seems to drain at the Joker's strength much quicker if the attack is a supernatural one. Supernatural attacks such as those by other Jokers or Devils or other such beings can be withstood for what seems to be around 2-8 minutes theoretically, given the strength of the attack. However, due to the fact this is a subconscious ability, if one can somehow attack him and withdraw the attack right before it would hit him, the rule would mistakenly reverse the vector, therefore making it hit the Joker. However, the Joker believes he is more or less safe because he is confident weapons won't be able to do that fine precision stuff reversing, if at all, and he believes he could deal with living threats. Also, he obviously wouldn't reveal this and most people would think it was an invincible shield, and the Renegade Joker uses that belief as fear as well. This is a seemingly passive skill he usually keeps on a default whenever he enters a battle, but can manually control it as well if needed. Note, this doesn't drain at him while it is not being used. So he can keep this in default all the time, even when he's sleeping or such, but the drain only occurs if the Shield starts being tested (weapons or other such things that are unwanted).

Purazuma Shūsoku (プラズマ収束 Lit. Plasma Convergence): Focusing on his direction and the magnitude vectors, the Renegade Joker can compress the wind into a single point at incredible speeds to create a sphere of plasma. He can then use this plasma as needed, in a single large sphere, narrowed to lances, split off into multiple projectiles, or whatever else the circumstance calls for. However, it takes around an entire minute or two of concentration for the sphere to become roughly 25 or so inches in diameter. He can still do other things during this charge-up including talking, guarding himself with a slightly weaker form of Angel's Shield, or other minor things, but he can't attack or move around as he normally would otherwise. However, if someone can manage to disrupt it via wind manipulation or attacking and actually having an effect on the Joker himself, or something of the sort, the plasma will start to disperse, although with a fast enough retrial, it can start back off with no major loss.

Maindohakkā (マインドハッカー Lit. Mind Hacker): He can manipulate the electricity in a person's body to control memories and personality, but this is not used at all almost. This takes an extremely long time (10 minutes-ish) of direct uninterrupted contact, and it requires him to use all his focus, and even his redirection is put down for that duration if he uses this, which is an extreme vulnerability. This is assuming the person in question is not fighting or resisting.

Dai Uchū no Hametsu (大宇宙の破滅 Lit. Macrocosm Ruination): Utilizing the massive amount of energy found inside the planet's rotation, he can redirect this energy into something sort of like a blast, which would theoretically be able to massacre every living thing on the planet. However, this takes an extremely long time (around 15 minutes) with his Redirection at half strength, and even if he can move around, he cannot do much else, and this is the only way to utilize this unholy power. Rumors say that this was once put into action, but was stopped later for some reason.

[spoiler=Darkwing Awakening]Only in the most desperate of times and very rarely, Mashiro can trigger this. When this happens, his Vectorizer ability updates itself and overwrites it into something that should be by all means impossible. He can control vectors that shouldn't exist, such as dark matter or heavenly energies. The wings which are constructed of a special sort of substance which appears to be pure black energy give him the power of an angel. During this "Awakening", Mashiro can speak in the voice of angels, and starts to negate magic in the vicinity. Allowing him to control other powers once he understands them - very quickly - in this state, he can start to manipulate them. When this transformation occurs, 100 small black wings form a general large wing 100 meters long which can disintegrate matter upon contact, that he can control to the very limits, including flying with them. In this state, he can also partially control divine beings as he gains understanding of them, and can tank blows without using his vector redirection. Normally, he could only withstand a blast as strong as a nuclear bomb, but now, he can take on a blow which could vaporize Eurasia. After this ability dissipates, Mashiro can still retain some of this power, albeit at a very downsized version, adding to his already immense power. He can negate magic attacks within a close vicinity and partially manipulate divine beings, although these are weaker versions and cost a lot to use.

Other various smaller things manipulatable by magnitude and direction are not listed here. (Including reversing somebody's blood flow to kill them by touching their wound, ripping skin off with a touch, igniting dust to create dust explosions, or other things which aren't technically a full sub-ability and just small manipulations of vectors. He can also fly by manipulating gravity or wind when in his regular state. He can magic by analyzing how it is done and using his own power for the input, but for some reason, this appears to harm him greatly and he will not use this often.)

[spoiler=Special Attacks]Chō Onsoku (超音速 Lit. Supersonic): By scraping his 2 Hand Sonic Blades together, deafeningly loud waves of sound boom and wash over the enemy, meant to drive the enemy to their knees. It affects the Joker as well apparently, but only to an extent of sounding uncomfortable. This is a less used skill though, and this is more for a group confrontation, which he usually solves with other skills.

Inazuma Kyo (稲妻卿 Lit. Lightning Master): He smashes his two Hand Sonics together, creating a massive spark, which then he coaxes with his Joker powers to arc forward in a style of a black lightning blast from where the Hand Sonics meet. This sounds frightening to all non-supernatural things, and it should be because it is super powered lightning, but this is more of a regular attack on a supernatural level, and this is his regular attack. The beam goes more or less straight forward and remains for around 1-2 seconds before dissipating. Unfortunately, it seems the Joker cannot move this blast around, and this can only go the direction it is pointing. This appears to be the Joker's main move that isn't derived from his Vectorizer ability, and he can use this more or less regularly to be a deadly combatant.

Muchi (むち Lit. Whip): The Renegade flicks out a Hand Sonic or 2, and they loosen up and then elongate into a whip he can use for different purposes, depending on whether he makes the whip sharp or blunt or etcetera. This is a less commonly used skill though, and he only uses it when he needs extra reach.

However, this is a very tolling power from what has been seen, and he cannot use this too often, and often uses it only for cases in a harder battle to gain an edge. After several uses, a blood mixed with speckles of a black fluid starts trickling from parts of his body such as his nose. After a few more uses, his eyes'll start to bleed, along with his fingernails and other openings. The Joker is never shown to stray beyond that, because it'll presumably start to rupture blood vessels and damage him severely, perhaps even to the point of death, if such a thing exists for Jokers. It seems the Joker doesn't know it himself, but there is much more potential he can unlock with this power, but so far, the only ones he've achieved in his current level are listed below in bold, but even those he's achieved are at a low level only and for short periods of time depending on the strain required.

Personal Information

Username: Seraph

Name: ?

Alias: The Renegade Joker

Age: ?

Gender: Assumed to be male

Date of Birth: ?

Blood Type: ?

Faction: The Divine

Origin: Jokers Underground

Even the high-ranking people he deals with are treated with contempt though, and the Joker couldn't care less who he talks to with the same apathetic, contemptuous attitude.

I'll make a more thorough analysis of your app later (I'm a little sleepy right now xD), but could you make a little more detailed explanation of Phasing, since I have no idea what the 'usual' is supposed to be?

Plus, as your characters' powers revolve around spatial distortion, keep in mind that they may not work like you intend them to. Spacetime is really unstable right now, and twisting it further may prove to have disastrous effects. For one, you may accidentally split an atom or two and unleash vast amounts of nuclear fission energy. Or, you may splinch. In any case, just be careful when manipulating space. The other characters are alright since they're drawing their power from predetermined aspects, barely scratching the surface of space when they teleport every now and then, but when you start messing with space just to achieve minor results, the consequences will not be pretty.

Just remember that Spatial Shift can easily backfire in an RP like this~

So we have another top tier, along with Sephiroth, Jecht, Sora, Kenpachi, Jin, and Byakuya I think.

Quite possibly, but honestly, it depends on how his vectorization ability is treated. If it's like a magical power, then there's nothing stopping him from getting to top tier, but if it's a spatial distortion, then he's pretty much in the same situation as Itsu Fudo. Extremely powerful, but with far-too-dangerous drawbacks.

It's a magical ability of sorts. It's based off science but tremendously amplified and changed by magical input to make it stronger and better.

Edit: I know about the Spatial Shift being trouble, it's just part of being a Joker in his universe, as well as Phasing, so I included the two. SS is not going to see much use. Neither is Phasing. Phasing is passing between the living world and Limbo of his universe. The usual is just fading after a while, but his is different, as described in the app. Technically, as for his power, he could hold back the blast of an atomic bomb, but if he didn't do something about it, the lack of oxygen would kill him. He can match on par with top tier quote easily, I don't know anything about surpassing or all, to be fair.

Alright then. Looks like we have another top tier character. Remember to keep him under control, okay~

Oh? If that's the case, then he shouldn't be capable of Phasing, since that technically goes into the category of interdimensional travel. Apart from eldritch abominations, Isamy, and Emiya, it should be impossible.

I think it's accept-worthy, but I won't accept it just yet - not until Arc 1 ends.
