Lore: Cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned into face up defense position by removing from play 3 "Mutant" cards from your graveyard. This card's name is treated as if it had "Mutant" in it. If this card should be targeted by an attack or effect you may instead target another eligible "Mutant" on your side of the field. Once per turn you may activate one of these effects: Discard a "Mutant" from your hand to special summon as many "Mutant" tokens (Atk/0 Def/0) the field may allow, loosing 1000LP for each token. Tribute one "Mutant" to special summon any "Mutant" from your hand,deck, or graveyard.

Note: I am unsure exactly what I was getting at but I wanted a way to swarm the field w/o being completely unbalanced.

Lore:This card must attack first if possible. After attacking flip a coin. If you call it right you can tribute a "Mutant" on your side of the field (besides this card) to attack again. If you call it wrong switch the position of this card into defense position and end the battle phase.

Any more ideas for mutants would be appreciated and I have more on the way I'm working out the details for.

lone mutant: what about giving your lone mutant the effect: As long as this card is face up on the field one of your monsters can attack twice.

mutant brute: veeery weak! negative effect (switching eventually to def position) and the tribute and attack again effect isnt that strong for a 5 star monster with only 2150 atk.

mutant psjik: 2000 atk is very weak for a lvl 5 monster.

sewer mutant: okay.

mutate: maybe too good? you can destroy an opponents monster with NO COSTS and you even get a more or less strong monster for it! compare dark core or raigeki break for example.

If this card should be targeted by an attack or effect you may instead switch the attack or effect to another mutant you control or special summon one mutant into defense mode and switch the attack or effect to it. That monster is destroyed at the end of your opponent's turn. Once per turn you can activate one of the following effects: -Discard one "Mutant" to special summon one mutant from your hand in attack mode. Don't conduct your battle phase the turn you activated this effect. -Discard "Mutants" from your hand to the graveyard tloosing 500 life points for each one. Then draw cards equal to the "Mutant" cards you discarded.

Lore: This card's name is treated as if it had "Mutant" in it's name. Tribute this face up card to target one of your opponent's monsters. Equip this card to that monster. Equipped monster loses 1000 atk as long as this card is equipped. When the equipped card is destroyed by battle between it and one of your monsters, receive any resulting battle damage.

Lore: If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase, and its battle position cannot be changed until the End Phase of your next turn. Before the end of the battle phase, you can switch this card into attack mode by discarding one "Mutant" card from your hand to the graveyard.

Lore: Once per turn, by discarding one Monster from your hand to the graveyard you can increase the attack and defense of this card by 100x the level of the monster you discarded until the end phase. During the end phase of the turn you activated this effect switch this monster into defense mode.
