Requirements: The Challenge is to make a "Number C" version of a preexisting "Number" monster. That monster may not already have any "Number C" version (i.e. Utopia, Shark Drake, etc.) Its effect must be related in some way to that of the original "Number"

Card A:

VdOKorD.jpg

Lore:

3 Level 4 monsters
When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, decrease its ATK by 500. If this card has "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect.
● Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card gains 1000 ATK.

Card B:

Number C50: Midnight Cornucopia

DARK/Rank 5
[Xyz/Effect]
4 Level 5 Plant-Type monsters

If this card has "Number 50: Blackship of Corn" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect.
● Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; destroy all other face-up monsters with equal or less ATK than this card, and if you do, inflict 500 damage to your opponent and gain 500 Life Points for each one destroyed this way. You cannot attack directly the turn you activate this effect.

ATK/ 2600 DEF/ 1000

Card A is a very balanced beater, but suffers from just that. It is yet, just another beater. That is the main problem with Number 17, and why people hardly ever go into it anymore. Boasting 4000 may seem pretty good, but it took 3 cards to get there, and won't stay there for long considering the amount of answers. It has to attack, it has no utility.

Card B is a Barian version of a card that seems like it'd never get one (out of place, not needed, already good enough, etc.) However, the effect relates really perfectly to what Blackship does, and boasts great utility like Blackship does. It is overall more playable, and since that decides it over flavour,

Card B has my vote.
