The Magical Shape-Shifting Cats Archetype:

Magical Shape-Shifting Cat

You take no battle damage from battles involving this card. When this card leaves the field, you can shuffle it into your deck instead. You can pay 500 Life Points to tribute this card and Special Summon 1 "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat" card from your hand or deck.

 

Sword Form

Cannot be Normal Summoned or set. Must be Special Summoned in attack position by the effect of "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat". This card loses 500 ATK during each of your End Phases. If this card's ATK is reduced to 0, destroy this card.

 

Shield Form

Cannot be Normal Summoned or set. Must be Special Summoned in defense position by the effect of "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat". This card loses 500 DEF during each of your End Phases. If this card's DEF is reduced to 0, destroy this card.

 

Bow Form

Cannot be Normal Summoned or set. Must be Special Summoned by the effect of "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat". Once during your Standby Phase, you can target 1 card on your opponent's side of the field. If you opponent has no cards on their side of the field when this effect is activated, inflict 1200 points of damage to your opponent. Otherwise, destroy the targeted card. If it has an effect, negate the effect's activation. If it is a monster card with an ATK of 2000 or higher, do not destroy it, and reduce it's ATK by 1200 points instead.

 

Ritual for Lion Form

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat: Lion Form". You must also banish (from your field or graveyard) a total of 3 Beast and/or Psychic type monsters including at-least 1 "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat" card.

 

Lion Form

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. If this card is Special Summoned (except by Ritual Summon), destroy it during the End Phase. You can Ritual Summon this card with "Magical Shape-Shifting Ritual". This card gains 350 ATK for each banished "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat" card. If this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat" from your hand or deck.

 

Ritual for Griffin Form

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat: Griffin Form". You must also banish a total of 5 Divine-Beast, Winged-Beast, Beast, Dragon and/or Psychic type monsters including at-least 2 "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat" cards and at-least 1 Divine-Beast type monster.

 

Griffin Form

Cannot be Normal Summoned, Special Summoned, or Set. Must be Ritual Summoned with "Ultimate Shape-Shifting Ritual". This card cannot be destroyed by battle by a monster of the same attribute or type as the monsters used to summon this card. This card gains ATK equal to the number of banished Divine-Beast, Winged-Beast, Beast, Dragon, and Psychic monsters x200.

first of all: if you dont review others, low odds others will review you.

secondly: divine beasts = :/ almost no one will like that, including me.

Thirdly: The idea is good, but basing a LOT of cards around 1 card is a hard way to play. Just like how E-heroes COMPLETELY depend on their fusion spells, this deck relies on the original cat; which can be neglected easily (aka: skill/soul/mind drains)

I was thinking of making a kind of impostor version of the original cat that can function as the cat under certain circumstances.

Here is a new card.

Pay 1500 Life Points and tribute 1 face-up "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat" Card. Then Summon up to 5 "Magical Shape-Shifting Kitten Tokens" (Psychic-type/Light/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). They cannot attack. They cannot be tributed for a tribute summon. You can tribute one of these tokens and pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon 1 "Magical Shape-Shifting Cat" card that is banished or in your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

The concept of this card, is very nice. Although I think 5 is quite the number to bring out. Of course, it's optional, so the player can choose. so, very nice.
