Machina Gadget feat. Redox

So, I've been running Machina Gadget variants for nearly 3 years. I've always loved playing with this theme, and I thought that, once Dragon Ruler and Spellbook would be weakened, I'd be facing a glorious format where Gadgets actually had the potential to win consistently.

 

However, over the past few weeks it became clear to me that either the Deck became less viable this format, or I'm playing a completely wrong build in a completely wrong way. This is why I need some tips to improve my Deck. Please do not just randomly correct stuff, but explain your reasoning as to why you think I should change things.

The premise of this Deck is relatively simple: you toolbox into Rank 4 Xyz Monsters to control the game and get rid of major threats using Fortress or the rank 7 Xyz Monsters, while maintaining hand control using the Gadgets.
