lord_ratatosk
well the art on most of the cards doesnt really have that yugioh feel. most of the pictures dont even have a background color just white or black. Stalker Machine has an sort of high attack and defense for a level 3 along with his effect which could give him 500 atk because it is not specified in his effect wether he is included or not. Gearbox #001 seems to have pretty good ocg but at the same time im not understanding how you would get it on the field if it cant be normal summoned or set, what spell, trap, or effect is there that can summon a level 8 monster. maybe make a specific way for him to be special summon ex. Sacrifice 3 machine type monsters on the field to special summon this card. and then this card has a sorta op effect not only can he not be destroyed by battle once per turn but you can also special summon a level 3 monster from the graveyard? you could instantly play stalker machine with its op effect , atk, and def. Neo break seems fine to me its atk and def are to high while its effect keeps machine monsters from being destroyed he himself is not invincible so hes balanced. while aerostrike may seem a little op he really isnt too bad considering junk synchrons effect which allows you to special summon and open up all these different paths you could take. Forest fire has a really nice effect and his attack and defense arent to high for missle shaft he may be a little difficult to summon but his effect should be like this card can attack you opponent directly if you halve its attack 1500 directly every turn is a little op imagine having swords of revealing light up and him thats 4500 out of 8000 lifepoints your enemy just took or game over if youre playing with 4000 lp Luck sender is actually pretty good it has an effect that is useful but not over powered by only limiting it to the battle phase, but instead of saying in the battle phase it would say [During the Battle Phase.] demon generator has a sorta op effect if you special summon him you can basically summon 4 monsters in one turn i guess its balanced cuz of the fact that it can only be special summoned or normal summoned but not set. shifters effect makes no sense if hes getting destroyed why tribute him? the only 4 i didnt do seem fine but i only glanced over them cuz its 3:20 in the morning here haha
caiustheshadowmonarch788
Some more metallic junk. Gearbox #788: Magic Wielder: Water Rust: Nuts and Bolts: Imperial Mecha Wall: Gearbox Chamberlain: More on the way! Thanks lord ratosk, I know a few of them are a little bit overpowered, so I'll consider changing them. Gearbox Shifter's effect means you can tribute a Gearbox Shifter other than him (I guess I should put that in) but anyway thanks for the advice as I spent quite a while on these. Dankies to you my friend.
caiustheshadowmonarch788
Surprise, surprise! Some of these have been changed by suggestions by lord_ratatosk. The Keys to the One Machine: UPDATED Gearbox #249: Neo Break: UPDATED Gearbox #404: Aerostrike: UPDATED Gearbox #773: Missile Shaft: UPDATED Gearbox #777: Luck Sender: UPDATED Gearbox Shifter: Gear Shooter: I think that's almost enough to make a deck. I'll probably add more cards though. Boop!

Toffee.
Assuming Gearbox monsters are the main set; I didn't really see anything drastically overpowered with them.Except maybe Forest Fire, if only for the fact its also a walking lockdown, given the nature of it's effect. I would fix that, since the whole "The Opponent looses a card in their hand to the top of their Deck" has no real drawbacks/strings attached, and can lead to some crazy plays. Also Soldier shouldn't be able to Summon other copies of itself, since 2 copies of them and Cyber Summon Blaster is a 3 card OTK. caiustheshadowmonarch788
Thanks for the tips. I tried to base Forest Fire's effect off Wattchimaera. BTW what does Cyper Summon Blaster do? Anyways, Dankies to you, my friend. Boop!
lord_ratatosk
Looking Good my friend your ocg on the Xyz is a little off instead of putting , at the end of cards (like this Cards,) put (like this Cards;) they use semi colons at the end of certain sentences but youre on the right track. Delibirb
And, probably the most powerful card; The Gearbox: And what card could go better hand-in-hand than: Virus Detected!: Virus detected would also cancel Gearboxes ability for its ATK, which would just make it 0, so if you want that you will need to work harder on specifying that effect of Gearbox. Additionally, that is way too powerful given the power Gearbox can potentially gain. I think it would be better if virus detected made it so it A) Can only attack defense monsters while equipped with Virus Detected, and/or B ) Does not inflict battle damage to the opponent. BTW what does Cyper Summon Blaster do?Anyways, Dankies to you, my friend.Theres a difference between attacking directly via it's effect in order to cause the Opponent to place a card from their Hand on top of their effect, and outright being able to use it any number of times during your turn without any gimmicks/drawbacks attached to it. Forest Fire's issue is that bit of it's effect alone. And Cyber Summon Blaster deals 300 damage to your Opponent each time you Special Summon a Machine

Actually, Virus Shield is supposed to be used with The Gearbox and Virus Detected!. The whole reason I made it was because I noticed The Gearbox would then have 0 ATK. But thanks for actually commenting and suggesting. It's quite special to me. Boop!

PandaBlackOps
Each Gearbox monster seems to have a role in the deck, but they don't have a common theme. A Few Example: Dragunity - Equiping monsters for synchro/effects Malefic - Special Summon high ATK monster, but can only have 1 on the field Monarch - Getting strong effects through tributes Madolche - Endless Resource from your deck Etc. caiustheshadowmonarch788
Gearboxes are based around lvl 3 monsters being summoned from the graveyard.
PandaBlackOps
Well if that's the theme i think you can improve the deck by adding cards that will send Gearbox monsters to the Graveyard. It seems that early part of a actual duel gearboxes would have problems getting off their effect if theres no Gearboxes in the graveyard yet. Something like:Hand Traps, Armageddon Knight, Trade in would help the deck out.
