I don't think any numbers have too much associated with their number :/ The Numbers' numbers are said by the creator/producer/whatever to not be random numbers, but have several possible meanings or interpretations for each. I don't remember the possible explanation for 39 and 96, but... Acid Golem is the third Number played by Kaito (the first Number he played was No.10, the second Number was No.20. I don't think any numbers have too much associated with their number :/ Hope I think was the 3rd Xyz Monster to appear and the 9th monster used in the duel. Or something like that. Dark Mist is called Black Mist in Japan, and 96 can be read as "Ku-Ro". In addition to being the 3rd multiple of 10 as evilfusion stated, "san" can mean both "three" and "acid". Best guess I have is it's the 6th Xyz associated with Michael Arclight, aka III. 36 comes from III's archetype, and is the 6th Xyz used by III. 33 (Machu Mech) + 3 = 36. 6 (Atlandis) x 6 = 36. 18 (Plain Coat) x 2 = 36 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
