On the topic of JJBA OST...
http://youtu.be/NUHnGi1KY2o
On an unrelated note, Mushishi, got it downloaded from animebytes. Been wondering when I should watch it.

Everything I've heard points to you should just watch it, but I'm not sure if I'd ever be up for it, despite that. Okay, not quite what you asked. Well then I wouldn't know, since I never watched it.

Welp, guess I'll put into my backlog, and gettin' to it sooner rather than later.

It's funny, cause Mushi-shi has been on Netflix for years, and now it's just started simulcasting on Crunchyroll. I watched the first episode, and I've heard pretty good things about it, but I never prioritized continuing it. As far as me, I'm currently following about 12 simulcasts (give or take). Trying to finish Fate/Zero and start Clannad After Story. I'm in for a busy season.

EDIT: Here's a list of anime I'm watching that you don't already know, followed by a brief opinion for each:

Hamatora: Can't say it left the biggest impression, but I'm curious as to how it plays out.

Engaged to the Unidentified: Seems charming. Kinda cute too, actually.

Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren (Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions): Adorable so far. The older brother/younger sister relationship is probably my favorite. Definitely continuing this, as it has a pretty epic imagination twist to it.

Onee-chan ga Kita: A short one. Step-brother/sisterly love (and possibly incest.) Why not?

Pupa: After seeing the PV for this, I thought it'd be an experience. However, with four minutes per episode, this show lost all credibility for that. Still, though, I'm pretty interested. But if the plot progression gets too tedious to watch at this rate, I might just drop it and binge it all at once at the end of the season.

Strange+: A lot like Bobobo, and quite honestly, I got a kick out of it. They went the right direction in making it 7 minutes per episode. Any longer would've been a stretch, I think.

Tonari no Seki-kun (Master of Killing Time): Now this is an anime I can follow with eagerness. It has no plot; just the same setting, but different stuff happens each time, and the supporting character adds just the right amount of tension to make it very fun to watch.

Might as well post my impressions of the season as well. Copied/pasted from my post from another forum:

 • Silver Spoon S2: Great new OP, very fun, lovely. Nice ED but the old one is better. Plotwise it just continues from the manga, no complaints about that.
 • Nourin: I was expecting something less comedy-like and more down-to-earth. Despite that expectation, I enjoyed it, the idol-obsessed guy makes his intentions clear, the homely girl who obviously likes him is obvious, the third smart expository guy is okay, and the idol girl looks potentially interesting.
 • Nobunaga the Fool: I have absolutely no idea what's going on, but yo that was entertaining. Everything is just so grandiose and stuff it just screams Valvrave to me, always a good thing. Do wish they explained the setting better, but overall I was into the episode.
 • Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta: Best romance of the season already, and it probably is going to get better from there. For a set-up episode I don't quite understand what's going on either, but I'm assuming they're exploring the world n the floating island as their base(Think Macross except the Zentradi aren't chasing them and the cast is exploring space, except in Koiuta it's the world rather than space). That opening is really, really good, made me hype. Sense this is going to be an epic of sorts.
 • Sekai Seifuku: I have no idea what this is either(For some reason this is happening a lot this season). What are those monsters? How similar is the world there to the one we have here? What's with the loli and what is world domination? Kinda feeling mixed on this, but it gives me a Penguindrum vibe so I'm sticking with it.
 • Mahou Sensou: Stupid, or so I feel. How is the bamboo blade surviving against that sword? Why isn't the protagonist freaking out at the girl pointing a GUN at him? Why do I feel the girlfriend character is going to be a bitch due to jealousy issues? What is the POINT of having a girlfriend character when I feel there's gonna be romantic tension between protagonist and the gun girl? Overall the whole episode felt rather pointless and I don't see the point of anything at all. The only character I liked so far is the dude with the big sword when he said something among the lines of 'Enough of this shit'.
 • Noragami: Kamiya, good job, your voice is great. That aside, the episode was enjoyable. The overall setup is interesting and I don't quite know how the thing's gonna proceed from here, but at least I wasn't feeling confused the whole episode unlike many other shows I've seen so far.
 • Witch Craft Works: I like the mechanic between the weakling protagonist and the tall charming silent protector heroine. No idea what is going on again, but the action was okay, the bunny army was unique so to speak, and witches and BDSM themes in the ED is cool.
 • Hamatora: That is some budget-y opening animation alright...That aside, I don't really know what to feel about this yet. I like the mystery aspect, but I don't really feel that the super powers aspect works here, nor does the bishounen-ish visual presentation. The white haired police guy aside because I like his design, I feel I would've enjoyed the show more if it had a less colorful artstyle and stuff.
 • Nobunagun: Reminds me of Girls Und Panzer for some reason. Historical figures are cool, and that is some crazy ass gun yo.
 • Space Dandy: Opening and Ending is great, giving it that. Don't really feel compelled by it or anything though. If what I hear about it being retroactive is anything to go by though, my interests might very much rise, but otherwise so far nothing amazing.
 • Sakura Trick: DEEN does not know subtlety, and I love that. Many much kisses and I hope it gets more extreme from here on.
 • Super Sonico The Animation: Sonico-chan is very...healthy, in more than one way. That aside it doesn't seem there's really anything going on, and Sonico is too perfect for my tastes. I was hoping perhaps the anime'd be about an idol who cosplays as Sonico and is well known for it, or perhaps 'Super Sonico' is an award given to the best pop idol, or something cool, but this? Don't really know what to feel about it, might stick for one more episode. At least the fanservice is nice, yo.
 • Mitakunin no Shinkousei: Again, on the fence with this one. Could potentially be funny, but can't really see right now. Gonna have to follow more to find out, I guess.
 • D-Frag: Comedy of the season, right here. Was laughing like a dumbass the entire episode. Thought it would've been some sort of stupid SoL comedy, it is exactly that, but god the jokes are spot on. Reminds me very much of Nichijou or Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou in terms of how funny this is.
 • Buddy Complex: Crap mecha designs, cool time travelling mechanic thing, typical Sunrise thing that I hope becomes wilder as it goes on.
 • ImoCho: Dropped after 10 minutes. I'm sorry, but censorship is not for me. Going to wait for glorious blurays(Which better not have censorship, damnit). Thing's pretty mediocre, but damn that is pretty extreme, I love that.

Still have Nisekoi and Wake Up Girls! to get to, which I will once decent subs for both are out.

I'm in for another huge season, stupidly enough, but this time, I definitely plan on watching less older anime. Not planning to mention everything I watch because of that, though.

Short things can sometimes be an experience. Encouragement of Climb was highly enjoyable for me even though I generally think of things with such lengths to go for comedy instead, so you'd have something you might be able to accomplish in that time. It is not so funny, but a pretty heartwarming slice of life, which I guess is why it would probably work better than something that has more of a plot plot, though, I guess. I'm really not interested in that though, so I can't tell.

Can't say I can think of anything better to say about Seki-kun.

Kay well my favorites so far are Mahou Sensou & Chuunibyo Ren, as I practically watched their first episodes twice already.

Mahou Sensou: Stupid, or so I feel. How is the bamboo blade surviving against that sword?

It didn't, really. The first one broke after all. I honestly found it ridiculously cool and seem to frequently have the ED on repeat. No complaints here.

I can emphasize with Rikka in Chuunibyo Ren when she realizes how hard it is to find an apartment. I can emphasize with that a lot.

You know, as for that girlfriend character, it doesn't actually make any mention in the first episode that they're in a relationship, and in the synopsis or what have you, it says they're a "fake" couple. Still, she probably is going to have feelings for him and it's probably going to say she's in a fake relationship with him sooner rather than later. In that sense (that she's probably going to be a useless character), I do agree with you about her.

 • D-Frag: Comedy of the season, right here. Was laughing like a dumbass the entire episode.

Why is this my exact reaction?

It still survived quite a few hits, which is itself rather unbelievable. A bamboo sword is moderately strong(Stronger than it looks),but against a metal sword of that size it should've have been able to block anything. The nano song is nice I'll give it that.

Actually, I think she does mention being his girlfriend. Either way, turning out it was a fake relationship still feels kinda stupid. At this point it feels like she's there to cause drama, and the drama hasn't even started...Well at least boobs-size-increase thing was cool.

D-Frag is stupid. So incredibly stupid. In such a fun way. Every part of the episode was entertaining. If it can keep it up like that it'll join my list of godtier animu, for sure.

You are highly contradicting yourself if you think it surviving a few hits is unbelievable, but believing it should have been able to block anything from that sword. It really shouldn't have, but I can somewhat believe it with the kind of power he now has. (making it sound like I think that's on purpose. Typos are things too)

Boob size-increase was pretty much the low-light of the episode, imo. It's just stupid when it's that large. Guess that is the one thing I can complain about.

Right, my mistake. Meant to say 'shouldn't have been able to block anything'. His power so far relates to foresight, and doesn't do anything to supplement the bamboo sword, so I feel it was still rather dumb.

I dunno, I've seen boobs much bigger than that in anime, that size is strangely normal to me(then again in real life that would be rather huge).

I don't remember that, but I will take your word for it. Strangely, you have the closest impressions as me (except for the parts where you reference other anime I haven't seen) I've ever seen.

The one exception is that last one. I don't actually mind censorship, because I don't really watch anime for... stuff like that.

One more thing I have to mention is I'm not watching as much as you, so most of them I'm not watching, but of the one's I am, what I said.

I kind of think that with the foresight it may be able to help a tiny bit. Severally stretching it, though, I admit.

That is the point, yes, but I am rather used to it so I guess it wasn't that bothersome.

Anything else I can think of. I agree on D-Frag. I mean I already mentioned it as well though, so yeah.

I think I watched the rips of the Crunchyroll subs for some things. I don't really mind it most of the time but there is something about even calling some of your classmates Mr like what happened in Nisekoi, if I recall. Ugh. Was typical shaft in visuals, so looks great, and while cliche it seems well executed.

With regards to Wake Up, Girls!

It wasn't until watching the movie (which I did do first, thankfully enough) that I realized it is a prequel considering it is the thing that goes into detail about how the group was formed. I can see same faces everywhere but it didn't bother me as much as I thought. It's funny when such little girls eat such large amounts of food. Yeah, that is what I feel like saying about this.

Welp, the movie, guess I should watch that at least, even if as a HS rip. FFF sure ain't getting to the movie anytime soon, or so I hear. Or was that Commie? Can't quite remember. The actual first episode of WUG though, will wait for a better sub group. I don't like having many shows by HS, and I already have quite a few(Ace of Diamond, Log Horizon, Nobunagun, etc etc etc)

I do recommend Macross, old, but a great classic that combines love songs with manliness with transforming mecha.

And yeah, again, first episode impressions, a lot of times they will change. I mean, I thought Samumenco was AOTYAY but now it's pretty crap aside from the new ED, or how say, Gargantia, first episode was some deep interesting sci-fi thing, then later it became a slice-of-life about human morals and values that made me like it even further, but then at the end it became serious again for the sake of plot which I didn't quite like.

I have heard Macross is good but I can't watch it anytime soon and I have a legitimate reason. I want to watch more anime by P.A. Works!

Maybe that wasn't the reason you would've thought, but I just finished True Tears and loved it, I'm going to catch up with Nagi no Asukara next and then watch Hanasaku Iroha.

That is true. That is pretty much my impression on Gargantia. I didn't watch Samumenco because I was mostly hearing about it from taking a look at the season topic on Tvtropes, and they didn't seem that into it.

 • Nobunaga the Fool...haven't really changed my opinion on it with the second episode. If anything it got even worse. It just really bites at my that they're like, "Oh, hey, it's a mecha. Why's that here? When'd you get it?" when five seconds before then they were like, "Da fuq is this? A watch? The f*ck does it do? F*cking West Star and their nonsensical technology." I'm sure there's some message about the greatest advancements in technology are made to kill eachother and yadda yadda but it'd still be nice if it didn't sorta blow. Looking like it's 10 years old doesn't help.
 • Still sorta enjoying Nobunagun. Not great but for a season of things with nothing that I find myself really enjoying it's basically another anime that manages to keep me entertained.
 • Finally checked out Mahou Sensou. I gotta agree with Michiru on some things and I'm not sure why they don't just make more people magicians if it means others getting a taste of their own discriminatory medicine or they completely lost me on something. The kiss was sorta dumb. What a dumb cliche.  I know in the synopsis it says the chick's a fake girlfriend but I sorta hope the pairing actually happens. It'd get away from the typical routine a bit. And I have a thing for blondes. Does anybody else get the feeling that everything was really focusing on the characters? I mean, really close. Not much environment to be taken in? The action was pretty solid though. So it's got that going for it.
 • Hamatora I again agree with Michiru on. By that, I mean I like the mystery angle. The powers I don't mind since their existence is actually incorporated pretty well although the foreshadowing may not be as effective when these two mysteries took up one episode and what was being implied showed up five minutes later. I still felt it was pretty well done though. Humor is actually pretty solid. The hypothetical running out on a bill gag ran on just a little bit too long if you ask me but was still funny.
 • Still watching Magi, Kill La Kill, Samurai Flamenco, Log Horizon, and Tokyo Ravens. Not sure why I'm still watching the last one. Some would say the second to last one too but it at least has politics and that's...fun, right? There might be something else I'm forgetting though. I did nearly forget Log Horizon.
 • K was still a huge disappointment. Never forget.
 • Noragami is probably ending up as my favorite of this season along with Chuunibyou but Noragami gets special mention for not already being established as something I love. Chuunibyou does get internal squealing though.
 • Space Dandy's pretty good but I don't seem to be as hyped up as a lot of people. Not when I still like Deep Space 69 a lot more.
 • Also, in order to maintain my new year's resolution of watch more anime I finally picked up Toradora. 10 episodes down today. The remainder...eventually. I'm not watching this alone so it might be a while. Really good so far though. Afterwards will be Fate/Zero.

I can emphasize with Rikka in Chuunibyo Ren when she realizes how hard it is to find an apartment. I can emphasize with that a lot.

You could always move in with m-*shot.*

Pretty much. I'm kinda surprised I never found it boring, but pretty much.

I have a place to live. But it's pretty bad which is why I've been looking for so long.

 • Let me just say that with regards to ImoCho, even considering the fact that it is an imouto anime, it was pretty boring with the 2 episodes I watched, so I won't watch more. I don't even care about whether or not something is censored, actually sometimes I may rather things be censored, because

I don't really watch anime for... stuff like that.

but if you like ghost girls molesting imoutos, Onii-chans walking in on imoutos, and things like that, then by all means, watch it, but I can't really see why anyone would.

 • Z/X Ignition is probably next on my possible dropping. I don't have any reason to drop it, as it is pretty cool, but the first episode hasn't really given me a reason not to. It looks cool, animation is fairly fluid, but, that is just that, and it just wasn't that engaging. Guess we'll see.

Oh snap and lol, after episode 2 I guess I can go for more.

 • I guess Nourin is more what I am thinking now. Ordinarily, I think I would like this kind of thing, but with the addition of a retired idol, I am not so sure, given my love of idol anime. At least she seems the cutest girl to me.

If the disappointment
"how did Shiro become him?"
, it wasn't all that confusing at all, and I really can't think of anything else that could have made it a disappointment.

I guess I just ended up enjoying something you were way more hyped for more than you, which is something that probably only happened once.

but if you like ghost girls molesting imoutos

When you put it that way...

Onii-chans walking in on imoutos, and things like that, then by all means, watch it,

Doesn't that happen in anime like this?

but I can't really see why anyone would.

... you can't? =o

Like I said, that happens in anime like this. Maybe not the ghost part, but for the most part it is kind of generic, so I'm sure there are people with imouto fetishes that can enjoy this.

So, c'mon, "anyone"?

Get real. :D

No, I definitely followed it fine. I just got super hyped for animation and fights and then all I got was...eh. That video pretty much had all the cool stuff. Everything else was just...eh.
