Delibirb
Ill be honest, this is sort of an experimental "What are the possible things that could be done here?" archetype. This is because it introduces four Xyz monsters (Which are identical save for name and rank) that require only 1 Material. I did this because I wanted to use masks and the overlay mechanic was there so... Anyway, its all derived from The Phantom of the Opera, most specifically Masquerade. Most of the names are in German or derived from German instead of French, because I like German better. ;P

1 "Operatic" Tuner + 1 or more "Operatic" non-Tuner monsters This face-up card is treated as an Xyz monster for the effects of "Operatic" Xyz monsters. Once per turn, you can target 1 "Operatic Mask" monster you control; It's name becomes "Operatic Masque". When an "Operatic Masque" monster you control is destroyed, you can Special Summon the Xyz Material that was attached to it from the Graveyard.

1 Level [X] "Operatic" monster If the only other monsters you control (min. 1) are "Operatic" Xyz monsters, this card can attack your opponent directly. Once per turn, you can return this card to your Extra Deck. When this card is returned to your Extra Deck, Special Summon this card's Xyz Material(s). You can only control 1 "Operatic Mask" monster.

This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material, except for the Synchro Summon of an "Operatic" monster. If you control an "Operatic" Xyz monster, you can return it to your Extra Deck to Special Summon this card. You can only Special Summon 1 "Operatic Princess" this way per turn.

When you Normal Summon an "Operatic Princess", you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If you do, this card gains the following effect: •While this card is face-up on the field, "Operatic" Xyz monsters cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects.

Once per turn, you can target 1 "Operatic" non-Xyz monster and 1 "Operatic" Xyz monster you control; this turn, treat both of those monsters as having the same Level as the non-Xyz target.

If this card is used an an Xyz Material for an "Operatic" Xyz monster, it gains the following effect: •When this card is Xyz Summoned, draw 1 card for each "Operatic" Xyz monsters you control. You can only gain this effect once per turn.

Destroy this card if you do not control an "Operatic" Xyz monster. This card gains 900 ATK for each "Operatic" Xyz monster you control.

All "Operatic" non-Xyz monsters gain 400 ATK and DEF. Neither player can target "Operatic" Xyz monsters for attacks. During your End Phase, if you did not Xyz Summon an "Operatic" monster this turn, destroy this card.

This turn, when an "Operatic" Xyz monster inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent; inflict 900 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points.

If an "Operatic" Xyz monster(s) would be destroyed, you can detach those monster(s) Xyz Materials instead.

Thoughts/Suggestions/Praise/Hatred? Delibirb
Realized it was literally impossible to get off the direct attack effects of the Masks, so Operatic Phantom is now treated as an Xyz monster for their effects.

Delibirb
their pics seem more like machines than warriors if you ask me That's because they are, art-wise. You'll notice they aren't all the same Type or Attribute. While the art depicts them as sky vessels, they are not typed as such, but instead relating to their respective character in the play. Phantom/Spellcaster-Type = The Phantom is a magician, among other things Prinzess/Spellcaster-Type = Christine's voice enchants the audience and the Phantom. Vicomte/Warrior-Type = Raoul fights to save and protect Christine Kronelt/Machine-Type = This is the Chandelier, actually. Tanzer/Warrior-Type = Madame Giri, primarily relating to her profession than her personality Sopran/Warrior-Type = Carlotta has a fighting spirit, but unlike Raoul, she fights for her fame. The Masks/Rock-Type = Just having to do with the fact masks are made of plastics/metals/porcelain/etc., as seen in the Masquerade. The Operatics are archetypal in their name and the relations between the ATKs and DEFs, not the Types or Attributes. Now, some actual responses to the cards as a whole in their functionality and balance would be much appreciated.
