Slinky Posted January 12, 2014 Report Share Posted January 12, 2014 If your opponent controls a face-up Xyz Monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Special Summoned from the hand: Target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; return it to the hand. Situational, but it can be normal summoned. Its also a WIND Machine. So you have Gigant X and Chidori access. That S/T bounce definitely doesn't hurt either. Also works really well in Gadgets (they run Tin Goldfish don't they?) Discuss. The decks that can efficiently use the hippo to their advantage is definitely the better option (IE: Zombies and Heraldics) Zombies because, if you play your cards right, their only targets will be Pyramid Turtle and Goblin Zombie, and they wouldn't want to summon those, they either give you a +, or they leave themselves open.
