Delibirb
Suppose the following mechanics are added to the game. Shining Draw During your Draw Phase, while your opponent controls more cards than you AND you control a face-up "Number" monster AND you have fewer Life Points than your opponent: you can banish 1 "Number" monster from your Extra Deck, except a "Number C" monster, and skip your Normal Draw; add 1 Monster Card from your Deck to your hand. Barians Chaos Draw During your Draw Phase, while your opponent controls more cards than you AND you control a face-up "Number" monster AND you have fewer Life Points than your opponent: you can banish 2 "Number" monster from your Extra Deck and skip your Normal Draw; add 1 Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. Discuss? I'll start. Encourages comebacks by creating forced-lucksacking. The banishing Numbers is a thematic cost and, in a deck designed to abuse these mechanics, would not be a cost at all. I Hate Snatch Steal
What happened to Shining draw being for ZW cards and barian's chaos draw being for RUM?
Delibirb
What happened to Shining draw being for ZW cards and barian's chaos draw being for RUM? This is so any deck can use them potentially, but draws some inspiration from that concept. Shining Draw can only grab monsters, like ZW cards, while Barians can only get Spells, like RUMs. (Keep in mind that Eliphas used Shining Draw for all of his draws which implies it can technically, within that universe, be used to draw anything.) Toffee.
Thing is, though, with regards to Yugi just playing the game/Destiny Draw/Whatever Yusei called his/Shining Draw/Chaos Draw/etc...You can't emulate the dramaticness of such a feat to justify the payoff. Or at least, as far as dueling outside of the anime goes.Cuz', you know, Low Life Points in the actual are actual Low Life Points. IRL? Not so much.
