Yu-Gi-Oh Arc of Conquest

OOC

The sun rises over Tatsunagi Academy island and as students are walking to and from classes going on there merry way. But today was the beginning of a major military campaign. While the students would be in class they would all here the resounding announcement from the fearless leader and commander of the armed forces, Nelly Muhammed. As students sat in there morning classes they would hear the morning announcements blast through the intercoms.

My fellow students, today is the day we begin our march towards victory. Today is the day in which we finish our conquest of all of the schools in the nation. There are only three schools who defy us and with everyone’s help we will put at an end to this finally. Enjoy your day of classes! Eat drink and be hearty, for tonight we shall paint the mainland red with the blood of our enemies. Today classes shall be cut in half so that all students will have the time to meet with your perspective clubs and you will all learn about your assignments. I look forward to taking the field of battle with all of you!

Needless to say that Nelly was nervous a little bit. These were the final three schools before his grand plan was to take fold and these would be the toughest. Each school is home to a fierce and powerful entity who is strong enough to take him down. He decided that he would not partake in classes today as he went to inspect the fleet of helicopters that the school was going to use for this first assault. While walking down the hall deep in thought he could sense that he was being followed.

Mr. ShaoHuang don’t you have classes to teach now? Without looking up he already new that the tall Asian T.A. was already walking behind him now. Of course Nantian was already used to this familiar tone that came from Nelly and now it was the most important thing for him to do. You know that all of my classes start in the afternoon and you’ve somehow cancelled all of the classes that happen in the afternoon. How do you even have all of this power anyway? None of it makes sense. Nantian asked in slight earnest. It doesn’t matter how I obtained this power, its what I do with it that makes a difference. And I intend to great things . The two made there way to one of the islands hangars and they both looked down at a fleet of helicopters ready to send all the students into battle. I guess this proves that we’re going to Kansai first then. Correct, by fighting the hardest battle in the present, we should be able to avoid future casualties.

Nelly then pulled out a set of files that seemed to come from nowhere and handed them to Nantian. While looking at them Nantian snickered. Students who are nor part of a club? What you want them as part of the Signer club?

Did you read them? One of them uses Infernities.

Oh so you think someone may have Void Ogre Dragon and not know it? And these other two. Watts and Claymores?

Well more the merrier right? Nelly and Nantian laughed as it seemed that the top half of the day will be about heavily recruiting.

When Jacob heard this, his heart skipped a beat. Apparently, he didn't know that his school was this intense about Duel Monsters. The only thing wrong with the whole "Half Day" Thing was that he didn't have the opportunity to turn in the monologue he wrote for his Drama Class, which somewhat discouraged him. He soon looked at his duel disk, and then took Emerald Dragon out while he walked through the hallways of the school. "I really hope we're going to obtain a lot of wins, Emerald Dragon.." Jacob said with not much confidence to his most prized card. He knew that if everyone except for him was this crazy about Duel Monsters, they were in for a long day. But Jacob kept his head up, because he knew about the Signer Club, and he always wanted to join, and so he decided that that was the first place he was going to visit. "I wonder if my Synchro Monsters are any good here.." he said as he soon put away his Emerald Dragon, and pulled out his Synchro Monster, Ultimate Emerald Dragon. He looked at the golden text atop of the snow white card. He then made his way through another hallway, almost bumping into everyone. He put the two cards away, and approached his locker. There, he would grab his stuff and head to Drama Class.

"Awesome. We're finally getting somewhere." Deneva pulled her red messenger back over her shoulder and stood up from a bench in a populated hallway. She turned and walked towards her first class. I'm not part of any club though.. I hardly know any of the clubs available. Argh... She began feeling somewhat aimless. Did she need to be in a club to obtain an assignment? Did she need an assignment to be a part of the military campaign and climb in its ranks? Surely, she'll be recruited somehow.

Passing some kid staring at a Synchro card, Deneva entered her first class, Drama, and took her seat towards the middle of the room. As soon as the class started, she planned on asking the instructor to be excused for a moment so she could speak to the Commander in Chief of the student-military body, Nelly Muhammad, or someone with connections to him. Her part in this school's conquest was far more important than theatrics.

Celia and her opponent stopped their practice duel for a while as they listened to the announcement made by the leader of the armed forces, Nelly.

"Already?

This 'conquest' thingy sounds quite stupid if you ask me..."

Celia never quite liked battles. She thought that battles were pointless, and true dominion should be reached with the power of mind, not arms.

"Waitasec, I'm a club president! Why does I have no idea about this assigment?

Uh, you..I forgot your name. I think we should end this duel now. I have somewhere important to go.

Cya!"

She immediately packed her cards, and left her opponent alone as she dashed through the hallways, only to bump into Shiki.

"Ouch!"

[Shiki]

Unlike Celia, Shiki was far more ecstatic about the upcoming battle, as it's a good opportunity to loot some more numbers to add into her collection.

Though, she remembered that she had not joined a club yet, so she couldn't get the assignment.

"Meh, do I really need to join a club? At this rate I'd have to-"

Her thought was interrupted when Celia bumped on her. Hard.

"Dammit Celia, watch where you're going!"

"Shiki! Please join my club, ok?"

"Uh...this is already the 3rd time you asked me to join your club today.

Do you have the word 'give up' imprinted in your head?"

Wait.

Shiki realized that this could be the easiest way for her to join a club without joining something that was too far out of her interest, or to join the damned Number club and blew off her cover.

"On second thought, why not?

I'll join."

Shiki said that half-heartedly.

[Celia]

After months of begging and nagging, Celia had finally convinced Shiki to join her club. It was definitely quite an achievement for herself, as she now could start do-

Oh.

Club president stuff was still a thing.

"Uh..yay! I'll do the paperwork for your application later, but now, I must go to somewhere important.

Though, you can follow me if you want to."

The next thing that happened was that the two of them ran into the student council room.

Drey smiled smugly. He was working diligently in the school's gym, a rather well stocked fitness center surprisingly; and his arms were feeling the burn with a nice set of weights. Each rise and fall pumped his arms nicely and it always flexed that one little muscle Drey was always so fond of but never knew the name since he didn't pay much attention in biology unless the teacher was talking about the female reproductive system; or when he was sniggering quietly during the male's.

Adel, on the more mature hand, was jogging patiently on a treadmill. Her face glistened with sweat that ran luxuriously down her alabastor skin that caused it to gleam in the lights. She was none too concerned with the announcement, as it was just another fanatical rant from someone whose head was clearly too big for his body. Either way, she gave a surly glance to the moniter and noted the 20 that shone on the screen.

She whacked one of the buttons and the machine slowed, even thought she jumped off before it stopped. Grabbing a towel hanging off one of the pieces of gym equipment she wiped her face thoroughly, and then gave a good scrub to her armpits. "I hear de Numbers Club and our club are part of de first assault" Drey remarked.

Adel snorted derisively as she sucked down half her bottle of water. "Oh joy, we get the first blood huh? No wonder really. The Numbers is basically the biggest club so it's ideal. I just wonder why he's putting in so much effort" she replied in a careless manner.

Drey shrugged as he released the weight. It fell onto the ground with a neat little thud as he grabbed his own towel to wipe away the funk. "I meant more about us, but it ain't dat bad. The Health and Fitness club are de strongest in the school; it's barely even an honour to be considered when it's freaking obvious we'd be in the front lines crushing dose wimps. We'll beat out dese other losers from the Numbers club. Why you even made me join is something I really can't... can't... can't" Drey rambled, his jaw grinding as he tried to pick up the word he lost.

"Recall?"

"Get. Why did you make me join anyways?"

"Because of the Numbers, obviously. We were guaranteed something, and both of ours can fit into our strategy."

"Fit into yours maybe. I can barely summon Lion unless I use my lowbies, and dey're better off in the grave besides Doppel. Your deck is so slow I'm surprised you win any duels."

"It's called Strategy. Maybe you've heard of it? At least my deck isn't about trying to OTK as fast as my dumb little brain can try to. I work on wearing down my opponents and then kill, like a patient hunter. Instead of a savage with a club."

"What, you'd rather use a mace?"

"Don't try to start that whole Warrior versus Spellcaster thing again. It's card lore, stop trying to make it mean something."

"You're de one starting it."

"Oh shut up."

"Whooaaa~ I had no clue why, but that sounded pretty cool.." Miki's eyes gleamed with wonder after hearing Nelly's statement. One to fancy himself as a king, he immediately started daydreaming about how the 'conquest' will be, completely forgetting the fact that he is still in the middle of chess match. "Conquest, huh..." Miki wonders loudly as he stares through the window. "I see why they announced it! They'll need my help to prove this school as the superior one! Ehehe~" Much to the dismay of his opponent, Miki continues rambling for two solid minutes before he finally gained the courage to stop him.

"E-er... Miki-chan.. I just moved my rook..."

"Oh, you're still here. Sorry, sorry~ Completely forgot. Very well then... Hmm... I'll just move the queen here, and... Checkmate~!" Without so much as thinking, Miki ended the match prematurely by completely lulling the opponent into a false sense of security.

"Well, this chess club isn't too fun... I guess I'll check in here once in a while when Signer Club gets boring. See you then~" Before her opponent can even try to check Miki's checkmate, he stood up and left the chess club room in a hurry, accidentally exposing his panties because of the running.

"U-uh... Was that a... N-no! Miki-chan must be a girl! I refuse to believe otherwise!"

Before he knew it, Miki was subconsciously walking towards the hangar, A favorite hiding spot of his, where he would sneak aboard one of the helicopters and imagine he's actually flying it.

---

When he got there, he heard two figures talking. One was Nelly, the head of the Student Council and a teacher he didn't know. Figuring that it'd be best to hide from them for a while, Miki hid behind the hangar.

".....proves that we’re going to Kansai first then."

"Kansai...? Are they talking about the conquest..?" Miki knew that if they found he was eavesdropping on them, he'd certainly be scolded to hell and back, but it was too good of an opportunity to pass.

"....part of the Signer club?"

"Did you read them? One of them uses Infernities."

"A new Signer Club member?!" Miki could be barely contain his surprise, and accidentally said it out loud. Luckily, the distance between him and Nelly was far enough so that it can be barely audible. Knowing this, he immediately covered his mouth with his hand and hoped Nelly didn't notice him.

He soon heard them laughing and decided it would be as good as time to get himself involved.

"U-um.. I'm Miki Hagane from the Signer Club. But.. I guess you two knew about that already, hehe..." He said while scratching the back of his head to reduce his anxiety. It was obvious that Miki was nervous, especially considering what just happened moments ago. "I heard about this plan to conquer the other schools, and I thought I would join in as well.. Or am I already drafted because I'm part of the Signer Club?"

Nathan leaned back in his chair. So, then today was the day. The day, where we would no longer be a school, but an army. The Maths Teacher in front of the class was hardly paid any more attention now, everybody around was focused on their decks or the clubs they were part of.

Nathan wasn't, he was instead scibbling notes about Stochastics. That was the only thing he could do, as he was neither part of a club, nor a strong duelist, so it made no sense if he rebuilt his Deck or anything, it would only make things worse. When class ended, he simply packed his bag and left the room, only to find dozens of hysteric people running around there, to get to their clubs president to find out about their assignment, or that had already recieved their assignments and were now preparing for them. He had no idea how this would go at last, if they lost, what happened if they lost or if they won and what happened if they won. But this wasn't the time to think about such stuff, it was a very nice day and if the trouble would come, there would still be enough time to think. With this thoughts, he sat down on a bench in the hallway and watched the people in front of him, while waiting, if somebody may came to recruit him.

Celia was quick to cut her duel with Blake short before running away in light of the announcement. "You know, I'm a club leader too. You don't think I would have liked to know about this?" But it was too late. The girl was already gone. Sighing, Blake turned away, his own responsibilities as a club leader calling him to the Astrology Club.

As expected, Blake was the only one in the room. The Astrology Club had been lacking in members, to put it mildly. Blake leaned back in his chair, considering the possibilities. He could either wait and see if, by some miracle, someone would join the club, or he could just leave and head to the Signer Club, which had slightly more members than Blake's did, in that it actually had people other than Blake and the club president.

Looking through his deck, Blake drew out Life Stream Dragon. Holding the card at a distance, he looked up at it, turning it in his hands. "I wonder what your friends are like," he said to the card, knowing full well it couldn't response. He draped his arm over his chair and looked at the door, hoping that it would open sooner or later. Five minutes, he thought. Five minutes, and he'll meet up with the Signer Club.

Impatiently, Deneva stood up before most of the class arrived, let alone the instructor. She couldn't stand of the thought of not receiving a vital role in their school's campaign. Grabbing her bag, she waltzed to the front of the class. With a piece of blank white chalk she wrote 'Deneva Harp - Student Council ~10 min'. Surely, the Student Council has a roster of the clubs in the school. Outside the classroom, a majority of the students were bustling from the excitement pride that the announcement had spawned. No doubt, they all attended a club, all of them eagerly awaiting their assignment.

But I don't even know what club to join. There's the Signers, but I'm not even sure what that means. They have a specific card or something. There's also the Numbers, but I don't own any of those. Hm...

She was near the Student Council Room now, so she began looking at the paper signs posted near or on the doors. Having glanced into the window's sight of a room, Deneva saw a lone kid. Curiosity subconsciously took hold of her, as she stopped forward movement. He was looking at a card he held in his hands. Discerningly, Deneva read the bulletin next to the door. 'Astronomy Club'.

That doesn't sound so bad.. Deneva peered into the window again, her lilac painted finger nails pressed against the space where the window and door meet. The kid was pretty in his solace, seeming to contemplate. Or be absentminded, she couldn't be sure. She groaned inside her head as she handled the doorknob. The room was empty. Maybe the other members weren't present yet? Or the club was unpopular. If the latter was true, would this club even obtain a great assignment? Maybe that didn't matter. Not before long, Deneva found herself cracking open the door.

"Hello?" She opened the door the entire way, revealing herself. She cocked her body to the right and raised a hand in a friendly wave, her red-orange hair falling over her shoulder. "Are you waiting for anyone?"

Jacob soon realized that, with the whole Duel Monsters commotion, he could have an opportunity to recruit for the Drama Club. This brought a slight grin to Jacob's face as he took notes, like the other people around him, on the person currently performing his monologue from his project that everyone in the Drama Class was assigned too. "It's just a shame that the musical's already over.." He thought as he twirled his pencil around his fingers, occasionally looking at the clock overhead the miniature stage. It soon seemed like the entire class was simultaneously staring at the clock, watching as each and every second passed by. "Geez, is the Signer Club really that great?" Jacob thought once again as he then continued to watch the presentation.

--

Soon after Drama was abruptly over, he then placed advertisements and other assorted bulletins about the Drama Club all over the school. Him and his other friends made the classroom theater look nicer, and set up a few tables with a sign-up sheet. He was now very excited about all of the other classmates storming through the other rooms, so he was more excited than ever! It turned out that Jacob has never really met anyone from the other schools, so this would be a new experience for him.

(EDIT: I didn't know everyone was signing up for clubs already. Sorry about that.)

"OH MAN!! CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP!!!" Cyan yelled as he bolted through the halls as he was late for his class...again. He was up all night trying to make modifications to his gem, Arcobaleno. He pulled out his deck from the deck box on his side, before pulling out Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus. "Wonder what awaits us today, buddy!" he said, as he smiled at the card...only to skid to a complete stop as he heard the intercoms go off.

My fellow students, today is the day we begin our march towards victory. Today is the day in which we finish our conquest of all of the schools in the nation. The intercom went silent after that, as Cyan just blinked for a moment, before looking over at the clock on the wall. Oh sweet!! Class should be over by now! Thank you very much! he thought as he rushed off to the club rooms. He was already in the Numbers Club, as he took both Number 44 Sky Pegasus and Number 17 Leviathan Dragon out from the deck box, as he looked at both of them. Strange cards though...and there's even more of you guys! Man I can't wait to see your friends!! Cyan thought, as he stopped at an almost empty room: the Astrology Club. He glanced at the club meeting schedules and smirked widely. "Oh this would get me out of Ethics in Duel Monsters easily! I am so in!!"

Without a further delay, Cyan walked into the room, placing his Numbers monsters back into the deck box as he looked around. "Y'ello? Anyone here?" he asked, before noticing one young man, Blake, being approached by a young woman, Deneva.

Nelly and Nantian looked at this person who had dared to approach him. Nelly simply looked at Nantian and then walked away expecting him to handle this. Nantian naturally knew all about Miki Hagane. As a member of the Signer club he makes sure that he learns everything about the people who are under his wing no matter how big their role in the club maybe. Miki Hagane however was very useful. The person who owned a Signer Dragon meaning that she/he will be pretty useful come the actual invasion. Nantian looked at his watch and decided that he didn't have much time to actually spare with her/him.

You hurt my feeling, no words for your club president? To answer your question though I ,and all of the club presidents, will be presenting the run down of the invasion plan. Just so you can prepare your deck and whatnot, the Signer Club is going to be the lead on this one. Meaning everyone will be counting on us and since you particularly have the all powerful Black Rose Dragon I'll be counting on you. Nantian gave a gentle smile and then went on his way. By the way I wouldn't worry about your Student Council president I'm sure he is simply very busy with this whole "invasion" plan of his. Honestly, I don't understand when high school became so serious. Nantian said exiting the hangar. He had people he needed to recruit.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nelly after leaving the immediate area with that interestingly dressed man/woman he was simply reviewing files as he made his way back to his own unhealthy large office. This is where he used to hold the Student Council meetings. His office is where all of the presidents for the clubs and organizations were to meet and basically listen to him ramble on how everyone could be better. While he was sitting at his desk he took inventory of all of the clubs that he would need for this assault on Kansai. So if the focus is the Signer Club then that means the Martial Arts, Health and Fitness, and Numbers club will act as my infantry groups. Following them should be who? It was then that a massive screen came up from behind him, but Nelly didn't flinch at all. What is it Muse? It seems that the president of the Esoterica Club, Celia St. Michaelis, and another student are on there way here. Nelly looked confused for a second as he didn't have any idea on how they would be useful. Then the thought came to him, the actual number of useful people in the Signer's Club is pretty low. They could use some reinforcements.
Muse, the students have had enough time to break into their respective clubs. Send out the message.
Yes Mr. Muhammed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

While young Nathan was waiting to be recruited a floating screen would appear in front of him showing several clubs that were accepting new members and clubs with very few members. Needless to say this was happening to every student who happened to not be apart of a club at this time. Everyone was being prompted into joining in a club of some kind. Due to the mystical nature of the offerings, the Number's and Signer's club were pretty popular. But other clubs like the Drama Club, Esoterica Club, Mythology Research club, and a great list of other clubs that are not that popular.

Greetings student body this is your humble security system Muse. Your mission should you choose to accept it is the invasion and capture of Fudo Academy located in Kansai. Our research shows, that located in Kansai is the legendary Signer Dragon: Shooting Quasar Dragon. The following clubs will lead the assault on the frontline: The Health and Fitness Club, Martial Arts Club, Kendo Team, Boxing Team, and Number's Club. The purpose of these clubs is to clear a path for the strike team. The Strike Team shall be composed of the following clubs and organizations: The Mythology Research Club, Esoterica Club, Astrology Club, and drama club. The strike team is responsible for ensuring the the safe passage for the members of the Signer Club to the lower levels of Fudo Academy. There the Signer Club will capture the signature creature and therefore will lead to the successful capture and assimilation of Fudo Academy. Good luck young students.

"My fellow students, today is the day we begin our march towards victory. Today is the day in which..."

Cordelia drowned out the rest of the announcement with some rock music she had loaded into her MP3 player, and descended grudgingly down the stairs. Why she had to climb them in order to get to her last class, she didn't know. If she had to guess, it would probably be because whoever was in charge of making these time-tables didn't get the memo on the car accident that Cordelia was involved in last year... either that or he or she couldn't give a rat's ass about her problems, one or the other. Regardless, Cordelia still had to climb back down the stairs in order to get to this stupid club that she was practically forced into. And that alone was a nightmare.

To make matters worse, someone had this bright idea to try and trip Cordelia up half way down. But Cordelia wasn't about to fall for that. Instead, she got this knee-jerk reaction to push the moron down the stairs herself. Typically this would get a laugh, but Cordelia wasn't in the mood for it; she just wanted to teach this idiot a lesson.

"Next time, pay attention," she stated coldly, as she continued walking down the stairs.

...

Eventually, Cordelia made it to where she was meant to go. Though by no means was she thinking that she'd enjoy it. She never did enjoy clubs. She always thought that they were a waste of time, and so far, they weren't helping to prove her wrong. But something was about to change that.

Walking out of his class, Ren opened the message he had just received, reaffirming what he'd already learnt beforehand as one of the club presidents. As he walked, he talked a bit to himself, passing the time it took to reach his own club room.

"It's a decent plan, using the smaller clubs to open a path for the Signers Club and leaving the capture of one of their dragons to them. This'll give me a chance to let my dragons run loose for a while anyway, so that's all good."

Upon entering the Mythology Research Club's room, Ren noticed that the rest of the club hadn't yet arrived, and sat down at his usual desk to wait, pulling out his Hieratic deck as he did to make sure it was in it's usual top condition.

A few minutes later the door opened again to let in another of the club members, the small girl walking in and waving across to Ren before sitting down as well. Unlike the club's leader though, Yuki merely pulled out a book to read while she waited, not finding any need to look through her own deck right now. In silence, the two of them just sat and waited, waiting for the rest of the club to meet up before they would head out to the briefing.

After waiting for a while on his bench in the hallway, which has gotten pretty empty by the way, he had enough of it and stood up. If the club presidents won't come to him, he would come to the club presidents.

But then again, he had no idea where he should exactly go. First, they were the two bigger clubs, the Signer Club and the Numbers Club. He knew, the Numbers Club was about Xyz Summoning Monsters, what would benefit him, as his strongest Monster, 'High-Voltage Dragon' was also an Xyz, although it required Synchro Monsters to Summon. He heard somewhere that the Signer Club was about Synchro Summoning, another Club his Deck would fit in. This was more difficult than he though.

"Well Boy, what do you like to do?" he asked himself and found this being a very difficult question, not because did not find something he liked, but because he liked so many things, too many to actually pick one or two things. He continued wandering through the hallway for a few minutes, until he made the decision to join the club he found at first, so he randomly stopped in front of one door. Drama Club. "Fine," he said when he opened the door and already saw a few people in the room, so he greeted them and grapped one of the sign-up sheets lying around there.

Jacob soon received the message about the battle tactics, but before opening it, he encountered someone who obviously seemed interested in the Drama Club. "Welcome to the Drama Club!!" He said kind of loud to the person grabbing one of the sign-up sheets. "We here at the Drama Club really appreciate the fact that you want to join here!" he said as he pulled out a sheet of his own, showing the roster of everyone currently on the team. "I'm sorry, but I would really like to know your name. You see, I don't really remember names all that well...sorry about that..." He soon replied as he clicked his pen to get ready to start making a depth chart on who would be leading and who would do support.

Hinako Sangako walked into the classroom a few minutes after Ren opening the door with her feet, having her hands full. She quickly shuffled over to the desk, half-placing, half-dumping her folders and grading papers down on her desk, before placing her briefcase and bag behind her desk.

"So," Hinako said brushing her hair with her hand like nothing odd had happened at all, "I take it you have the battle plan Ren?" Hinako took a seat logging onto her computer, then taking a sip of her coffee she continued, "I have some grading I need to get done, so if you wouldn't mind handling the agenda today, it would be greatly appreciated... oh and somebody closing the door would be great too!" Hinako talked in an off-handed manner, already focusing in on her work, but the same time she was somehow equally aware on everything that was going on in the club meeting room.

"You know that Nelly... he's always up to something..." Hinako sighed, "cutting my classes in half, do you have any idea how that effects my schedule..." Hinako talked indignantly, but her overall tone suggested that she wasn't all to perturbed about it. "Oh, right about what Nelly said about spilling blood during the conquest, yeah try to keep that to a minimum, I think I have to fill out paperwork if that happens."

----

Ririko quietly entered the entered the Fortune Reading Club room, it was a desolate room in a nearly untouched section of the school, tucked in a quiet corner of the Performing Arts Center that was quite easy to miss unless you were looking for it (really the only reason they were able to use it was because the room was never used). The only other members were the Club Leader Diana, who was a soft spoken person and shy, but you could tell that she legitimately cared for her other club members, she specialized in the occult and demonology. The other member was Diana's outspoken best friend Suzuka who always felt bad that nobody wanted to joined the club, but her brash and intimidating nature often scared people away, and she specialized in crystal ball readings.

Ririko and her maids were the only other members of the club, but the small amount suited her just fine, it was much easier to slowly integrate into interacting with people than to try and through herself into a large group, and in the year she'd been at the Academy her social skills had much improved.

"Really!?" Suzuka shouted with an angry look on her face, "I can't believe we were left out of the conquest attack plan. We could've done some major damage, and Nelly doesn't know what he's missing out on!"

"Really, Suzuka," Diana raised her arms in defense, "its fine we'll just assist one of the understaffed clubs. Perhaps that Esoterica Club, they specialize in the occult just like us, and I know for sure that they could use some help. In fact why don't we go down there now?"

"Fine, but I'm filling a formal complaint after this..."

-A few minutes later-

Before they even made it to the Esoterica Club's room they encountered the Club's leader; Celia, and another girl that none of the member's recognized.

"Hello, my name is Diana," the club leader said extending a hand, "would you mind if we joined your club during the conquest as it seems both our clubs are in need of members."

Blake looked up as the door opened. Much to his surprise, someone actually showed up. She seemed pleasant, but Blake simply shrugged in response to her question. "No one in particular. Honestly, I figured that nobody was going to show up. I'm Blake, by the way."

Before the girl could respond, another person entered the room, this time a boy. "Yes," he groaned. "Well, thank you both you for showing up. Now then, what are your names?"

Once again, Blake was interrupted, this time by a second announcement from the president of the student council. When it had finished, Blake rose from his chair, filing away Life Stream Dragon into his deck. He looked at the two other students and began to lead them out of the room. "Right, so… let's meet up with those other clubs, shall we? I'm a member of the Signer Club as well, so that makes it doubly important that you two help me get through the other school. That is, if the two of you are fine with that. I don't want it to sound you two are distractions, bait, however you want to put it, but that's how it is. Sorry."

"Mine's Dene-"

Deneva's introduction was interrupted a male student bustled in rather excitedly. Blake, as he introduced himself, gave him the same seemingly half-hearted greeting he did Deneva. Just as she was about to repeat herself, another message from Muhammad was distributed and received throughout the campus. It described the upcoming mission. Its objective: To invade and capture Fudo Academy in Kansai and obtain its Signer Dragon. Select clubs were chosen to lead the front lines, the Astronomy club not being one of those.

After its conclusion, Blake rose from his seat and walked away with what Deneva felt was an air of purpose. Feeling as though it was her only option at this point, Deneva followed suit. During their walk to join the ranks of the other clubs, Blake spoke and admitted he was part of the Signer Club, meaning he was to join in on the main force. This club wasn't a bad choice after all.

"Well, I'm pretty sure we can be a team. Actually rely on each other to get things done. Rather than just bolster you. Anyway, my name's Deneva, and I'm joining your Astrology club. I don't mind helping you through Fudo."

The words fell upon deaf ears as Cedric slept. He slept not from exhaustion, but from convenience. He was already a little bit ahead in the class that he would have been in at the time, and he was not required in any club at the moment. However, at the end of the announcement, at the call to action, Cedric's hands would begin to glow, an alien-looking 13 on his left hand, and a 31 on the right. Opening his eyes immediately, he appeared as if he had been woken by a nightmare for a moment, before shaking the expression off.

Sitting up slowly, he rubbed the bridge of his nose, stretching out his legs, "So... it has begun. This ought to be... tiring." Standing, he stretched his shoulders, reaching over to his side to grab his deck. He walked to the door, grabbed his jacket, and dropped the deck into the pocket. Looking down at his palms, and he closed his eyes, breathing deeply as they slowly faded away. "There... much better." He begins to open the door before stopping, stepping back toward the table, and grabbing his duel disk. Smiling slightly, he put it in his pocket in its folded position.

He opened the door the rest of the way, stepping out and making his way to the Debate Club room. Walking along, he glanced around, seeing nobody of consequence to him. Sighing, he reached the entrance to the Debate Club, walking through the passage. Noticing that he was the only one in the room, he walked over and sat at the single chair. "Thank you for showing up, fellow debate club members. What should we speak about? Nothing? Oh. That seems fair." Stretching out his legs and leaning back in the chair, closing his eyes once again, "I love debate club..."

"Roger, captain! Although, I don't see how this could fail if we're bringing in all of the Signer Club... Well, good luck with the recruiting, I need as many meat shields as possible to help me get through unscathed~" After listening to Nantian's explanation, Miki says an oddly grim line with his trademark smile still present, making him sound rather sadistic. With his piece done, Miki turned back and headed towards the school building to join up with the Signer Club and brainstorm some sort of rudimentary plan for the upcoming battle. Needless to say, he was visibly disappointed when he saw that nobody was in the Signer Club room. The room was pretty big - fitting, as it is one of the main clubs of the school. Almost as big and certainly as well-equipped as a normal classroom, including a blackboard with a crudely drawn picture of Blake with the caption "Jerk face" written under it. Needless to say, it was drawn by Miki.

"Feh." Miki sighed in disappointment as she puts up her leg atop his desk in the club, which was a complete mess filled with some (possibly) expired chocolate given to him by several other female students. "This is why I hate signer club... Either absolutely everyone is here or exactly nobody bothered to show up.." Miki sat down and waited for the others to come until, of course, he realizes no one was gonna turn up.

Thankfully, Nelly soon made an announcement detailing the plan for the Kansai battle ahead, which sparked an idea in Miki's head.

"So, absolutely every club will be included, huh? Hnngg... Ah, I see! Since the Signer Club'll take center stage, then it'll go like..." He rushed towards the blackboard and immediately started scribbling a scenario for the conquest.
Less than five minutes later, Miki has completely filled the blackboard with words and cartoonish images. In the middle of the blackboard is a picture of the Kansai School(?) burning in flames with a chibified Miki standing on top of it with the Shooting Quasar Dragon in his hand, the words "Smartest, Prettiest, Most Unbeatable Miki saving the day". Above the drawing of Miki is a helicopter with a similarly chibified Club President Nantian in it, looking somewhat happy. Other chibified students of the school can be seen cheering on Miki from the ground, while Blake is apparently beat up and unconscious, represented by having Xs for eyes. Despite the childish-like drawing, Miki also wrote down a much, much more detailed version of Nelly's original plan. It reads, paraphrased:

"The Kansai school should beweaker than us so there's no problem. H And Fitness, Martial Arts, Kendo and Numbers go and clear out the opening field, make way for strike team and Signers. Martial arts and Kendo stay upfront and beat everyone up, Heath and Fitness go clean up any injuries they have. When strike team is through, Numbers will go join them and beat up everyone inside. Split everyone up accordin' to the amount of branches inside the building, make sure not to leave anywone alive. Numbers club have most members and is most professional, so they go help us (Signers!) until the Shooting Quasar is located. Once it's found, there'll be the opposing Signer club left, so everryone else go beat them up while I, Miki, go and grab the dragon so we can all go home.

Backup plan? As long as I'm the strategist and we're flexible, we'll win. Easily."
Once everything is done, Miki slumped down and sat underneath the blackboard, looking visibly exhausted, but still with a cheerful smile on his face, as he awaits for the rest of the club to come in.

"Blake, eh? Pretty cool name!" Cyan chuckled, until he heard the speech over the intercom once again. This got him all excited, as he pumped his fists into the air. "FINALLY! Frontlines time!!" He yelled, only to have Blake and Deneva look at him funny. "Actually, I'll be apart of two lines for the assault!"

He smiled and pulled a small membership card, which looked a lot like and Xyz card, however it had his information on it. "Yeah, I'm part of the Numbers Club...but since I'm also joining this Astrology club...means I'll even get to allow the Signer Club inside the compound!" Cyan smiled widely as he put his member card away, before Blake began leading them out of the room. "Anyway, the name's Cyan Gray! And no worries Blake, no way will they even get near you!"

While she reached for the door to the Signer Club room, Cordelia remembered that other announcement that rang in her ears. Except this one just so happened to pique her interests... all because of three words: Shooting Quasar Dragon. The mere sound of that was enough to entice her into wanting the card for herself, but how could she go about tracking down its owner? And what if someone else got to that owner first? Cordelia supposed that it was something she couldn't allow, although that could mean deviating from the school's entire plan, which had its fair share of problems. But was the trouble worth dealing with just for a single card, even considering its rarity and her obvious desire for it? Cordelia wasn't all that sure for now, but it wasn't a question that some soul searching couldn't answer.

...

Cordelia could hear chalk being used, presumably to draw on a chalkboard. At first she dismissed this as someone just looking for an excuse to be a nerd, but when she got the chance to actually see the drawing first-hand... Cordelia shook her head, and just had to voice her disapproval.

"There's just one problem with you getting the Shooting Quasar Dragon, Miki; I highly doubt you're the only one that wants it," after saying this, Cordelia turned to the only other person in the room at that moment, assuming it was Miki (correctly in this case), "Perhaps you should've discussed it with the other students first..."

Less than a minute after he finished scribbling, Miki heard a noise from outside. While he at first seemed happy someone actually bothered to come to the club, and just in time to see his work, his smile faded slightly when he saw who it was, and it became even smaller when he heard what she had to say. While he's one to listen to other people's opinions, he's not one who would let someone take his "Treasure."

"Well, at least someone else showed up." Miki said, as he sprung back to his feet, leaving behind a trail of dust where he sat before. "I mean, I honestly don't care who holds the card after I get it, since I certainly won't use it. I just need.. Some sort of loot after a battle, y'know? Even the Celts used to take home enemy skulls, right? Since I'm really not fond of dead bodies, I figured I'd just take the thing they're protecting." As if making a lecture, Miki pranced around the room while saying it, moving ever so slightly towards Cordelia.

"I came there to win. That card is just as symbol of my victory. If you want it, I'll give it to you." Miki now stands only a mere two feet from Cordelia.  "But! That card will. Be. Taken. By. Me." His normally happy face suddenly turned to a grim one, although it returned back to normal in a split-second.

"Now then, time to wait what the others have to say about my genius plan~"

Nathan flinched when one of the guys came to him and greeted him in a very loud voice. But then, he grinned and said: "Nice to meet you. I am Nathan and I really look forward to have fun around here. And don't mind forgetting my name, if you do just ask me again." This guy seemed really nice to Nathan, although he had no proper experience in acting or something similar, he knew that he had chosen the right club. While he was filling the gaps in the sign-in sheet, a question arised in him: "Just one more question: Will this club be part of the assault, too, or will we stay here?" He first thought he should underline this question with a theatralic rage attack or something like that, to show that he wasn't here to be part in the fight, but because he really wanted to join a club, but then decided not to.
