After a while, one more Barian Emperor deck appears. This time the often overlooked Gilag appears, powering through with a complete "Hand" archetype that focuses on effect negation.

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Banishing 2 "Hand" monsters from your Graveyard. Once per turn: you can Tribute 1 other "Hand" monster you control; look at your opponent's hand, then if possible choose 1 monster in their hand whose ATK is equal to or lower than the Tributed monster's, and send it to the Graveyard.

If you control a "Hand" Xyz monster: destroy 1 card on the field, then deal 1000 damage to your opponent.

Pressure Point

If you control a "Hand" Xyz monster: negate the effect(s) of 1 monster on the field, and reduce its ATK and DEF by 1000.

Choking Grip

Destroy 1 monster on the field whose effect(s) are negated and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Hand" monster from your Graveyard.

Hand Power

Banish 1 "Hand" monster in your Graveyard: target 1 monster you control; that monster gains ATK equal to the Banished monster's ATK until the End Phase.

When your opponent attacks a "Hand" monster you control: change the attack target to a monster your opponent controls, except the attacking monster. If the attacking monster is the only monster your opponent controls; destroy the attacking monster instead.

When your opponent activates a Spell Card, Trap Card, or monster effect, if you control a "Hand" monster: Banish 2 "Hand" monsters from your Graveyard; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.

You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; draw 1 card and reveal it, and if it is a monster, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. You can target 1 "Number 58: Burner Viser" that is attached to this card as Xyz Material or in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; destroy all cards equipped to that target and equip this card to it, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. The equipped monster gains 800 ATK, inflicts Piercing battle damage, and when it inflicts battle damage, you can destroy 1 card your opponent controls and if you do, inflict 800 damage to your opponent. A monster equipped with "Number C58: Inferno Viser" cannot be equipped with any other cards.
