Welcome to Earth-7, one of the 52 universes within the DC Multiverse. It is a world very much like our own. The grass is green and the majority of the world's population breathes oxygen. However, unlike our world, the existence of meta-humans is not a secret. Humans are beginning to develop special abilities, a phenomenon caused by an active meta-gene. It is this meta-gene that grant a certain few great power.

Power is not inherently evil, nor is it inherently good. It is those that wield that decide its fate. Unfortunately, there were quite a lot of the former. Evil has spread across the world, causing those with the strength and courage to fight, to stand up. Heroes are emerging, some meta-human, some not.

It has been a long time since the first superhero appeared, and since then things are no longer about vigilantes acting outside of the law. A league has been established. The Justice League. However, the next generation of heroes and villains are beginning to make themselves known. The Justice League needs to think about the future. You are a part of the future. You are a part of the Young Justice Initiative.

You are a member of the newly instated Young Justice Initiative, a program designed to teach youth with heroic aspirations how to properly safeguard humanity and fight on the side of justice. Your abilities have caught the interest of the Justice League and they have placed you with a group of other young heroes that have a promising future as potential members of the League. Whether you are a boy or a girl, upstanding citizen or ex-con, human or extraterrestrial, none of that matters. You are now a member of Young Justice. You are now a hero.

The database is an agglomeration of important terms and information that will aid in your assimilation into this world. The Database will be updated periodically. Make sure to check back every so often to stay up to date.

Earth-7: Young Justice Initiative: The name of the RP

Earth-7: One of the 52 universes in the DC Multiverse. It is the home universe of the events in the RP, Earth-7: Young Justice Initiative

Young Justice Initiative: a program instituted by the Justice League to recruit youth with heroic aspirations in order to train the next generation of heroes.

The Team: the group of young heroes established under the Young Justice Initiative.

Base of Operations: The Team's...well...Base of Operations. It is more commonly known as 'Ops' and located on an uninhabitated island off the coast of Florida. Hidden from most any form of radar and not on any map, very few actually know about the island itself, let alone what is on it. Equipped with state of the art technology, Ops is perfectly fit to keep the young heroes alert to dangers of the world, as well as fit enough to fight it. The island Ops is on is fairly small, but does provide a nice outdoor scenery for members of The Team to escape to when feeling overwhelmed.

Zeta-Tubes: Zeta-Tubes are a form of teleportation technology that the Justice League and The Team uses to move its members and allies from place to place. Zeta-Tubes have been fitted in most of the major cities around the world, also included on The Watchtower and in various places around Ops. There is of course a certain level of clearance to access the Zeta-Tubes and the different locations that they are connected to.

The Watchtower: The Watchtower is The Justice League's base of operations. No one outside of The League has been on board. The Watchtower is one of the only orbiting satellites with the technology that is able to bypass the security measures put in place that hides Ops. No one aside from the Justice League and a few select individuals know the existence of the orbiting base, it is one of the most closely guarded secrets of the League.
I'm fine, I swear!
Personal Information:
Name: Adrienne Verone
Aliases: So far has no supername, but Open to a nickname
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Punk_girl_by_Manjimaru.jpg
Adrienne is about 5'7" and 100 pounds. She dresses in cool-pseudo punk clothes, such as jean shorts. She also very much likes band merch and such, as she has really taken a liking to it. She shows off her curves as much as she can, since she knows a little sexiness can get you among way. Usually she wears shirts that are tight and show off her stomach, frequently completely exposing her stomach. Her ears are pierced, and frequently wears earrings. She has scars, but no active cut, on her wrists that she covers with anything she can. Headphones or earbuds can be found around her neck, running up through her shirt, or on her ears at all times

Adrienne has been through some s***. She has lost everything she loves and she has committed acts that would put her in the chair. But yet, she puts on a strong front. She appears that she is just going with the flow. She smiles and laughs along with life. But deep down, she wants nothing more than to end her life. The only reason she hasn't found another way out is that she feels indebted to the world because of her crimes. She knows that she can't die without repaying her sins.

When the stress of the world becomes too great for her, she turns to headphones for support. She listens to a wide variety of music, from Pierce the Veil, to AC-DC, to Eminem, to Foster the People. But her favorite band of all is a small band out of her hometown of Coumbus, Ohio, called Twenty-One Pilots. When it comes to her powers, she wants nothing to do with them. She wants nothing more than to get of them and move on with her life so that she can hurt no-one else. But since that I not an option, she instead has decided to get the most out of them so she can save as many people as possible. She has the opposite of a fear of heights, more of an attraction to them. She can be found on rooftops during her freetime, lost in the infinite above her and the infinite inside her brain.

Adrienne lived the average American life. Her father was gone and had been since she was about four. She went through the phase of searching for him, and she had given up. Her mother was never home, she was always working and trying to make ends meet, no matter what she had to do. She loved her children, but they could never feel it. Her mother figure, her older sister Sabrina, was the only thing Adrienne truly loved. Don't get her wrong, she appreciated everything her mother did, she just never felt love for her. But Sabrina was battling her own battles. She was depressed and struggled to stay out of heaven. But she fought for Adrienne, but it was a battle lost from the begining, Sabrina could do nothing but try to hold on long enough to teach Adrienne how to survive.

But she lost the battle too soon. Adrienne was devastated when she found her hanging from the ceiling. She fled the house, without leaving a single word. Next thing she knew, she was on the streets, malnourished and starving. She lived off the kindness of strangers, and kindness was a scarce resource. Her life was changed again when a man ran into her current residence, the alleyway off of 33rd Avenue. He held a single package, and police sirens were blaring far off, coming closer with every tense second. The rain was falling heavily when his eyes fell upon the face of Adrienne, 14 years old, starving and wishing nothing more than death for her. He dropped the package on the ground and ran. Adrienne, drawn like a moth to fire, touched the package as the sirens blared around the corner.

She remembers nothing but an energy flowing through her body and exploding into the area around her for fifteen seconds. She blacked out for a short time. When she opened her eyes, horror met her eyes. All around her, it looked like a war zone. That would be if the human race was at war with the earth itself. Buildings were destroyed, with huge towers of graphite exploding through them. There were people crushed and dying, others who suffered quick deaths delivered by sharp jags of rock. She knew she was the cause of it all, and fled.

She wanted nothing more than to dissapear, to become no more than a blot on the face of the earth. They labeled the event as a super-villain act of terror, and Adrienne accepted the fact that she was a terrorist. Preferring to be dead, she tried to take her own life. As she fell, she found herself being engulfed in earth. "No!" She screamed. "No more!" But her meta gene did not listen. She landed hard on the ground, but other than bruises, came out of it uninjured. A civilian saw the event, and made the connection between the attack and her powers.
When the Justice League came prepared for a fight with an unnamed supervillain, all they found was a young 15 year old girl in tears. None of them had the heart to fight her, so instead, they clipped her handcuffs on her, and she left her past behind flying through the air in some strange green craft (I'm assuming there is an equivalent to Green Lantern). She soon explained herself. after many tests by the abundance of mind-reading heroes, she was found to be telling the truth. Not wanting to put her back on the street, they took her in. She studied under (IDK any heroes in Earth-7, and can't find any, so imma make one up) Gammafist, learning how to focus her powers and learning the difference between Good and Evil. She learned that accidents happen, and that no-one can save everyone. When the Young Justice Initiative, she was17 and one of the first to volunteer. She had seen a few of the other younger heroes around, and she longed to meet them, but was too busy training to meet an of them.
Combat Information:
Meta-Gene Activity: Active
None, besides her cellphone
[spoiler-Powers/Abilities/Techniques]
Adrienne has the ability to terraform, which is the forming of rocks and dirt to create weapons or armor. She can also use the ability to blast a large amount of pebbles or luanch bowling ball sized rock at her opponents. As of right now, she can create a full body armor that Augments her strength but slows her down.

Adrienne is a tank. She puts up defenses until the correct moment to strike comes, and she makes sure she makes those strikes count.

Told ya I'd make him better...and I did. That and the fact that Earth-7 had like...NO other superheroes listed anywhere...making this was even better!! B)
"Time to hit the stage! Protect the innocent...LIBERATOR!!"

Personal Information:

Name: Jaden Kudo

Aliases: Liberator

Age: 20

Gender: Male
Being at 5'10'' tall and weighing at 160 lbs, is Jaden. He has piercing sapphire blue eyes and a rusty copper hair color, which is almost always spiked up, as if he has bed head. He is only slightly tanned, as he doesn't want to turn too dark and ruin his image of himself. Jaden, most usually, wears a pair of black jeans with matching black tennis shoes, along with a stud belt with a white and blue belt buckle with a bright ruby in the dead center of it. The upper side of him, the young man wears a black t-shirt with a nice dark blue jacket, made of a strange dark blue leather fabric. He wears blue fingerless gloves that look similar to these along with this blade resting in a sheath upon his back.

When he becomes his hero-self: Liberator, he becomes a wearer of this armor. At first glance, it may look heavy and unable to allow Jaden/Liberator to move fast...but that is not the case. In all honesty, the armor isn't quite THAT heavy, allowing Jaden/Liberator to move swiftly.

Jaden is a kind-hearted young man, with a true knight's attitude and sense of justice. He also is quite knowledgeable in certain situations, picking up a few things from studying with his father to become a detective. He does what he can to help his teammates and even the civilians, making sure they are all taken care of. Sometimes he even tries to have a laugh with those he cares about, not to the point of practical jokes, but trying to get them to laugh about some stupid stuff when he can. These traits are often poured into Liberator whenever Jaden becomes his persona, though when he's as Liberator, these feelings become stronger than they were before. And even as Liberator, he takes things others may say about his friends and dismiss it without a second thought, making sure people know what is true about his teammates and what isn't.

Born from a famous detective, Ban Kudo, young Jaden followed in his father's footsteps in becoming a detective, learning the deductive arts straight from him. Who knew that it would be useful to him later...

During a visit with a friend of Ban's in Arizona, a murder took place. Being there, the Kudos went to be of service and what they found was even larger than they had originally thought. The victim in question was known as Wesley Shepherd, one without a criminal past or anything illegal...but his house and room was full of symbols and notes of something known as the "Knights of the Order". The name of this group was indeed foreign to both Ban and his son, but they investigated this murder mystery deeper. Whatever the killer wanted, he couldn't find before the cops had originally arrived on the scene. Thankfully Jaden noticed something etched into wall behind the victims bed in a numeric and cryptic code. It took only a couple of minutes for Jaden to decipher the code, but what he found were coordinates for a patch of barren desert land and one spot in particular.

Upon finding the coordinates, the Kudos stood in the right spot, when the ground began to collapse around them, as the sun reached its highest point. The two fell into the fissure, only to find a hidden castle ruins beneath the desert, with the same symbols and markings that they found at the dead Wesley's home. Upon exploring the ruins, Jaden separated from his father...to find a chamber...no...a tomb of some sorts. In the middle of the room, he saw a casket with the inscription: "Take thy blade and be joined...". Jaden would only look at the blade as he slowly grabbed it, once he did, however...the inscription morphed and changed. "Protect the innocent...Liberator...". He read this...and his first transformation into Liberator was initiated. But was it his last...no...

A few months later, Ban and Jaden would get a house call...from the Justice League. Specifically from two specific people: Jackdaw and Nightingale, Earth-7's daytime versions of Batman and Nightwing. The explained that what Jaden stumbled upon was greater than even he was aware of...and that the offer of joining them was open. After some consideration, Jaden accepted and joined the duo...then becoming a protege under Nightingale. Under his teachings, which were passed down from Jackdaw himself, Jaden's skills grew even more than they had already.

Then the day came...the Justice League preparing to activate a new cell within Earth-7: the Young Justice Initiative. Jackdaw looked to Jaden and offered...at which point he responded with the only thing he could: "Heh, seems like fun. Where do I sign up?".

Meta-Gene Activity: Inactive
-The Royal Blade: An ancient blade that was said to be used by a great paladin, uncovered by Jaden and his father upon investigating the remains of the rumored "Knights of the Order".
-Paladin Gloves: Invented by scientists by request of the Justice League. These were given to Jaden after the discovery of The Royal Blade. The gloves allow the user to control a specific element that the user needs. For the Paladin Gloves, the Justice League used mythological gems that were uncovered after a stray meteor hit the Earth. These gems are implanted into the gloves, which allow Jaden to control the element of Light.

Deductive Arts: Being the son of a detective, Jaden learned about the art of deduction and the methods that go along with it. Through his life with father, he picked up tips and tricks along the way. However, being taught under the wings of Nightingale, his level of the deductive arts increased.

Swordsmanship: Jaden, ever since he obtained the Royal Blade, he's been practicing day in and day out to up his game with his swordsmanship. Right now, he is on an above average level of swordplay than most swordsman, as his experience with his sword has increased due to the blade and its power.

Light Manipulation: With the aid of the Paladin Gloves being infused with the mythological gems given to him by the Justice League, Jaden is able to control the element of light with only certain applications that can be used with them:

 • Generating light armory and weapons (such as shields and weapons that his allies or himself can use)
 • Quick flashes of light (to which can blind the opponent for either a quick get away or an ambush strike)

Liberator: Jaden's persona which is invoked by the Royal Blade. Using the trigger phrase: "Protect the innocent...Liberator!", his transformation is initiated and with this, his swordsmanship along with the powers of his light manipulation skill are increased quiet brilliantly.

Jaden/Liberator fights mainly with his blade as he is a swordsman. However, in certain situations, he can fight hand to hand, along with using the Paladin Gloves to help with the light element as well (using them to shield his allies and himself, etc.).
Other Information:

Jaden's Theme | Liberator's Theme

 • Jaden still searches for clues that link him to the fabled "Knights of the Order", the cult and group that Liberator was originated from.
 • Jaden keeps in contact with his father Ban and Nightingale at all times (Ban to ask for certain advice, and Nightingale to help speed up a search process with evidence or case files).

I thought you wanted to change his name to Judai...?

Anyway, obviously accepted.

---

Will more than likely turn this post into the character roster in time.

I was planning to change his name to Judai...but chose not to, mainly cause in hindsight, it sounded way to strange when written out xD

But regardless, thanks for the accept ^^

Completely re-created my character, bout to hop into the necessities, as I call them.

As it stands, I am a bit underwhelmed with her powers and abilities. They are pretty basic and uncreative, in my opinion. That isn't to say that the app won't be accepted upon completion, but I was hoping for something a bit more original. Similarly, I don't think she is going to need a pair of powerful swords on top of a widely diverse power of shadow manipulation and transformation.
"I owe this to her. I will fight to protect what she protected. I will stand for what she stood for."

Personal Information:

Name: Cynthia "Sin" Allen

Aliases:

‣ Superhero Name: [acronym='pronounced 'ink'']!nk[/acronym]

‣ Nickname: Sin

Age: 19

Gender: Female
Sin stands at about 5'6", a more or less average height. Her eyes are a light grey, however, she often wears colored contacts and her true eye color is rarely ever seen. Sin cuts her hair short, reaching only the top of her spine in the back and slanting slightly forward as it follows her jawline around front. Her normally black hair has been died platinum blonde and usually contains a streak or two of color that she changes at whim. Her angular face is often adorned with striking make-up, most commonly dark, glittery eye shadow and dark, scarlet lipstick. Her nails are always painted either black or a deep red(or a combination of the two). Sin wears a pair of heeled combat boots that zip up to her mid calf. From there, she wears a pair of fishnet stockings and a pair of black shorts that reach to her mid-upper thigh. Up top, Sin wears a black tank-top and a black leather jacket. Occasionally she is seen wearing a pair of leather, riding gloves.

Sin also has a multitude of tattoos all over her body. These include, but are not limited to a pair of geometrically designed wings that wrap around her upper arm and start in between her shoulder blades. The remainder of her arms are covered in a variety of hexagonal patterns. Spiraling around Sin's neck are seven wasps. Around her wrists and moving into the palm of her hands, Sin has a pair of tattoos of brambles and thorns.

Sin works hard to appear cool, collected, and indifferent. She struggles desperately not to show emotion to keep up with her appearance as a bad girl, but in all reality she is hot tempered, easily excited, emotional person. However, to avoid any mishaps she does her best to keep her emotions in check at all times. This makes it so it is nearly impossible to get to know the real Cynthia, and instead only leaves room for the altar ego that she has created for herself, Sin.

Don't get me wrong, Sin is apart of Cynthia just as much as her hair is attached to her head. However, the person that she wishes to be she views as an impossible dream blocked by circumstances. This is the dilemma that she is constantly faced with and often ponders when she is alone. Is all this worth it? Should she have to give up herself to protect the world? Of course, she eventually comes to the conclusion that she must just as any hero would.

In regards to battle, Sin has no trouble mixing it up in the fray. Rarely does she run into a moral dilemma that forces her to hesitate or hold back. That isn't to say that she is aiming to kill, but she definitely isn't going to jeopardize her own safety or that of a teammate by having a moment of mercy.

As a whole, Sin is sarcastic, apathetic, and collected. As far as she is concerned, there isn't room in her life for her to reveal her true self.

Sin grew up in the slums of New York. Her father abandoned her as a child and her mother was a drug addict that could barely keep a job at a dingy, old diner. As such, she was forced to at least try and make some money herself. So, at the age of 14, she managed to snag a job at a local tattoo parlor. Of course it was illegal for her to be officially employed, let alone actually give tattoos to people, so she kept up with the cleaning and minor book keeping and was paid in cash. Her boss, a woman by the name of Aisha Moon was kind and protective. Sin began to view Aisha as more of a mother figure than her actual mother. She began to spend more and more time at the tattoo parlor. As she did, she began to notice some strange things.

The first being that Aisha disappeared every night for no rhyme or reason and returned in the wee hours of the morning. The second, Aisha occasionally accumulated various bruises and minor wounds that when Sin asked about them she grew nervous and quickly changed the subject. During this same time, a minor crime fighter had appeared in New York. Rumor had it that this crime fighter, a woman, went after various gang leaders and drug dealers that stalked the slums around where Sin lived with Aisha. Pandora, the crime fighter, was said to be able to conjure ghastly figures from her mind to attack her targets.

In time, Sin connected the dots, coming to the conclusion that Aisha was Pandora. When she confronted the tattoo artist about it, she was not met with the denial she was expecting. Aisha admitted to it all, and began to explain to Sin both how and why she did what she did. Knowing that Sin would not let the issue rest, Aisha then extended an offering to Sin to study under her tutelage. From there on, Sin learned everything she could from the self-taught vigilante Pandora. She took the name !nk and took to cleaning up the streets.

It was a day in December that Sin discovered that Aisha had disappeared. No warning, no note, no sign. Just gone. For awhile, Sin tried to figure out what happened to her teacher, but there was no evidence to be found. It was not too much later that she was approached by the Justice League to take part in the Young Justice Initiative. She hopes to use the expansive resources that is provided the The League to The Team to perhaps find some evidence on what happened to her mentor.
Combat Information:

Meta-Gene Activity: Inactive
Equipment:

‣ Bo Staff: Sin carries a Bo Staff and is adeptly trained in its use. Perhaps not as skilled as Robin, but more than proficient enough to deal with gang-bangers and minor villains. It is crafted of a titanium, acrylic alloy, unfortunately its structure does not allow for it to be retractable and thus must be carried at its full length of 6 feet. It is carried on Sin's back, forming a diagonal from her left shoulder slanting to her right.

‣ Notebook: Carried in her pocket, Sin carries a small notebook of Aisha's that contains all her knowledge of spells and spellwork as well as several theories and suspicions about various people and organizations. It is arguably her most prized possession.

Inventory:

Aside from what Sin carries on her person, what she owns is pretty basic to a teenage girl. One thing that is important to her is her art supplies that she keeps in her room. Apart from that, Sin has the necessities of the average teenage crime fighter.

‣ Magical Talent: Sin is naturally gifted in the mystic arts. Unfortunately, there is something about her personality and psychological state of mind that holds back her true potential. It is unlikely that this obstacle will ever be overcome. As it stands, Sin's primary branch of magic is the animation of the tattoos on her body. By concentrating and channeling her energy, she is able to conjure life in the depictions and make them take shape. Currently, Sin finds it difficult to animate too many tattoos at the same time. Similarly, it is hard to animate them in rapid succession. This magic is largely based on her emotions and if she were too lose her head, it is very possible the tattoos would start to animate on their own. It is an incident she wishes to avoid at all costs.

‣ Emotional Void: Sin is able to hide her emotions with practiced ease, making her poker face downright infallible. Every expression, word, and pitch is planned without the hindrance of emotion.

Sin primarily uses her wings to gain advantage in the majority of fights and uses the extended reach of the Bo Staff to keep out of enemy range. If an assailant or target has a medium-long range weapon, she often takes it out before getting too involved in the conflict. In more intense fights, Sin will animate the dangerous wasps to pester her opponent, causing painful distractions.

Defensively, Sin animates the hexagonal patterns that cover her arms to act as a time of shield. Likewise, they can be animated individually to be used as projectiles.

When in particularly sticky situations, Sin uses the bramble tattoos as grappling hooks, ensnaring equipment, and retrieval mechanisms.
Other Information:

Main Theme

‣ Almost no one knows Sin's real name and for the most part refuses to answer to it.

‣ Sin is an incredibly talented artist but rarely shows off her work.

Not only that...but I am worried with the name choice. As you realize, there is already a DarkSeid and having another one with a similar name...may cause some confusion as to if this character can be trusted and is on the right side.

That isn't to say that the app won't be accepted upon completion, but I was hoping for something a bit more original. Similarly, I don't think she is going to need a pair of powerful swords on top of a widely diverse power of shadow manipulation and transformation.

I simply meant for the swords to look badass, nothing more or less than that. They're pretty basic swords that can also be daggers. And i thought that the shadow abilities were original, as it's a relatively underused concept, and one that I love. It's hard to come up with ideas that haven't been done before, and seeing how this is literally one of my favorite powers, I thought, why not? But if I need to, I'll change it.....
hgy71.jpg
“Let me show you why money is the best superpower...”

Personal Information:
Name: Oliver Strider
Aliases: Kaiser
Age: 19
Gender: Male
With a height of 5’9 and a weight of 165 pounds, Oliver is only slightly shorter than most boys his age. Due to his training, he is extremely fit, sporting surprisingly cut arms, as well as broad shoulders. His eyes are brilliant green, but often hidden behind a pair of sunglasses, which he uses to hide his identity while in public. Oliver’s dirty blonde hair is usually a tad messy, due to his habit of scratching the top of his head while in deep thought. Despite his wealth, Oliver usually wears very simple outfit that consists of a white collared shirt, along with a pair of fitted black jeans, which cover his only slightly expensive black wingtips.

Given his vast amount of wealth, one should not be surprised to find out that Oliver is very cocky.Though he tries his best to maintain a "Cool guy" image around his peers, Oliver can be quite sensitive, making him extremely easy to offend. He values his pride above all else, and will accept any challenge thrown his way, if he feels that his skill is being called into question. A firecracker, Oliver has a terrible habit of losing his temper, and jumping headfirst into dangerous situations. Most would dismiss this recklessness as stupidity, but those who know Oliver are aware that he is far from an idiot, and that he is more than capable of thinking himself out of most situations he finds himself thrown into.

Due to have spending the majority of his child hood in a laboratory setting, Oliver has never had many friends. This means that he will go to great lengths to protect the few that he has acquired, and would never leave an ally behind, regardless of the circumstances. Oliver takes great pride in the tittle of "Hero", and is always eager to prove his strength to the League, as well as his father. Unfortunately, because he takes every mission as seriously as he does, he can often times be blinded by his objective, causing him to miss the big picture.

The only son of the famed weapon designer, Steven Strider, Oliver has lived what should have been a very enjoyable life. His nannys would cater to his every need, and every toy he even so much as mentioned would appear in his room the very next day. It seemed the only thing that Oliver couldn't have was time with his father, who spent the majority of his time working in his lab.  Steven Strider was a very busy man, and it appeared that he could not effectively balance raising his son with his work. Unfortunately, the latter ended up taking the higher spot on his list of priorities. Reducing young Oliver to a minor distraction, that would occasionally sneak into the lab during the day and pester Steven with question about his creations.

As the years went on, Oliver became painfully aware of his father’s lack of interest in him. So at the age of  11, he decided to begin studying his father’s trade; in hopes that it would eventually help forge some kind of connection between the two. Steven was at first opposed to the idea, but after seeing his son’s natural talent, he began to show traces of approval. For the next couple of years, the two worked on many projects together, most of which involving gear and weaponry that was specifically made for meta-humans, and vigilantes. It was around this time that Oliver took notice of his father’s fascination with the meta-humans. Whenever he came into contact with these people, Steven’s eyes would become bright with the interest and admiration that Oliver had been starved of for so long. Having never showing any signs of meta-gene activity, Oliver was forced to continue growing as an engineer, using their time spent in the lab as a way to grow closer to his father.

At the age of 17, Oliver noticed that Steven appeared to have begun losing interest in him once again. He would now frequently leave Oliver to handle the main projects alone; while he himself would work on something he called “The Kaiser”. For this, Oliver began to harvest resentfulness towards his father, until one day Steven revealed to him the product of his labor; a suit of armor that would allow a normal human to preform feats that were equivalent to that of the meta-humans that Steven found so fascinating. What surprised Oliver most about this sudden reveal, was the fact that the suit appeared to have been designed specifically for him. Steven explained that one of his high-profile costumers had informed him about the Justice league’s plans to start a junior initiative, and that he expected Oliver to wield the K.A.I.S.E.R unit as one of its members.

Initially taken aback by his father’s sudden desire for him to become a super-hero, Oliver soon came to the realization that this was the perfect opportunity to permanently earn his respect. The training started almost immediately, and though those two years were of the hardest in his life, he pushed through them; swearing to himself that he would join the ranks of the heros his father so strongly admired, and prove himself to be among the best. When it came time to join the Young justice initiative, Oliver was beaming with confidence.
_690747_orig.jpg

Oliver's father's life work and legacy, the Kaiser unit is designed to augment Oliver's physical abilities, allowing him to preform feats equivalent to that of a Meta human. Constructed from depleted promethium, the suit is extremely durable, without sacrificing the wearers ability move swiftly during combat. The Kaiser Unit will only respond to those of the Strider family, and will be virtually useless in a hands of anyone else.

energy_handgun_by_peterku-d3cfpl5.jpg

Two semi-automatic pistols that were crafted from the same promethium as the K.A.I.S.E.R unit.  These guns are Oliver’s primary weapons of choice, and it is extremely unusual for him to not have at least one his person at any given time. Making use of an experimental energy system; the Kaiser Blasters form bullets for themselves in a way that is very similar to that of the lantern corps.

These rounds can vary greatly in strength, and their intensity is decided by how long the user decides to hold the trigger.

As stated above, the Kaiser blaster’s batteries are still very much experimental, and will overheat if the blasters overused. During this period the Blasters will be rendered useless until given time to cool down.
R.M.C- A very high capacity wrist mounted computer that reassembles a large wristwatch. Oliver is never seen without this device, and uses it primarily for hacking and storing/researching information. The R.M.C also functions a way for Oliver to remotely control the K.A.I.S.E.R unit, but offers nowhere near the amount of combat potential as actually wearing the suit.

Margret- An advanced A.I that was gifted to Oliver for his 14th birthday. She is hosted in the R.M.C, and serves as a digital servant, as-well as partner for him in combat. Hacking, monitoring the K.A.I.S.E.R units vital information, organizing his schedule, and generally keeping Oliver's life in order, are just a few of the things Margret is tasked with on the daily.
[spoiler-Powers/Abilities/Techniques]

Kaiser’s Dirge: Oliver’s last resort, and assumed final move. He overrides the suits safety settings, allowing for the Kaiser unit’s core to release 100% of its stored energy. He then channels this energy into a single concentrated blast of raw power. The Kaiser unit will enter hibernation mode after use of this attack, and will no longer augment its wearer’s body. It should also be noted that the heat that the suit generates from using this attack is substantial, and will leave the user’s body covered in severe burns.

Royal Guard: The Kaiser unit shoots off of Oliver’s body in pieces, and then reforms itself around the target ally, protecting them from incoming damage. Note: This can also be used to restrain criminals.

Shoulder Mounted Micro rockets: Hidden in the suit's shoulder plates, these small rockets pack quite a punch, and are aimed via a targeting system located in the helmet.

Technological genius: Acquiring a love for technology at young age , Oliver has spent a very large part of his life learning about weapon design, in hopes of gaining his father's approval. He is a capable engineer, as well as hacker, and is able to spot design flaws in even the most intricate security systems.

A front line fighter, Oliver uses his augmented speed and strength, as well as any accessible technology in the environment to overwhelm his opponent. He tends to use the Kaiser unit's long range weaponry as a way to close the gap between him and his targets, before beating them into submission with is preferred style of combat, the close quarters kind. While he does prefer not to kill criminals, Oliver is a realist, and believes that  there are some people out there who are beyond redemption.

His main weakness his short temper, and the spontaneous out bursts that come with it. These make him somewhat predictable, as he is extremely easy to bait into attacking, and will always try to exact revenge on an opponent. Oliver is also heavily reliant on his A.I, Margret to monitor his surroundings, as well as the suits vital signatures , and will take some time to adjust if she is somehow disabled.

You don't need to necessarily change it, but in all reality it really isn't that original. Shadow manipulation is found all over the place, Shikamaru on Naruto, for example, Nico di Angelo from the PJATO series, Brain/Zero from Fairy Tail, Trigon and Raven from DC comics, Darkrai, etc. In my opinion, it is akin to elemental manipulation of any kind.

Still have a lot of work to do... I'll just put this up to show interest.

Raven and Darkrai are the only ones on that list I actually could identify. Would it be better if I altered her to be more weapons based but kept the stealth aspects?

If you are wanting that kind of character maybe forgo the shadow aspects of it and go with camouflage type skills or powers. Maybe give her an invisibility cloak or something of the like?

I might get something in for this, but I really can't be sure, as I am ridiculously busy as of current. Either way, this looks pretty freaking sweet, so I hope it turns out well.

We would still love to have you. I, as well, am going to be having a number of busy days coming up and I am the host, so I am sure we can work around your schedule. Worse comes to worse, Chaos or I can take control of your character until time you are able to regain control.

What are we aiming for on power level? About what was shown on the show, or what?

That is probably a good gauge. Leave room for improvement and definitely allow your character to have some pivotal weaknesses(either in their character or in their power) that will allow the RP to explore their story more thoroughly.

Well, I managed to get some time free tonight, so I decided I might as well get this together.
xOm6xRk.jpg
Everyone is a puppet. I'm just the only one who shows it.
Personal Information:
Name: Mary Stratford
Aliases: Marionette
Age: 17
Gender: Female
KDiDaAV.jpg
At first glance, Mary hardly seems to be alive. Her skin is pale and cold to the touch, her body appears thin and frail, and her face remains expressionless. Even when her eye opens, it is a dull, almost chilling blue that veers toward the spectrum of grey. To describe her in a word would be doll-like. She spends much of her time in an open-shoulder dress with long sleeves, despite whatever the weather may be. When she walks, it hardly resembles the way people typically move. Though she does not trip or fall (her movements are quite graceful, in fact) it almost appears as if she is being suspended just off of the ground by a puppeteer's strings. Adding to her appearance of a doll, her stature is quite diminutive, standing at 5 feet, 2 inches (157 cm), and weighing only 103 pounds (47 kg). On her nearly perfect, untouched appearance one flaw is glaringly obvious: a bulky gray patch covers her right eye, breaking the symmetry of her porcelain figure and creating an unsettling vibe.

Mary has a harsh view of the world. Everyone does what they do so that they can achieve some goal or another. The "heroes" she sees do not do what they do out of the goodness of their hearts, rather, they all have some reward in mind, may that be fame, fortune, or, in her case, revenge. In her mind, the only way that she can be at peace is if revenge can be achieved. This goal then leads to her motivation for being a hero. She truly does not care about how many people she helps, about who she saves, or even about her own teammates. Her plan is simple: be a hero, do what they do, and eventually she will be put on an assignment where she faces off against Deadshot. Then she will be able to exact her revenge, to kill him, and to go on with her life. Of course, such an attitude is far from ideal by the view of the League, so she tones down her rage and instead displays it as a passion to defeat evil, acting enthusiastically in fights and otherwise, though there is always a particular darkness that is apparent about her.

Mary grew up with a very privileged life. Her family was rich, due to her father's extensive research of the meta-gene that he found lying dormant within his own daughter. He made history with his research, discovering how, although the power itself is granted by the presence of the meta-gene, the nature of the powers themselves is determined by the recessive, typical human genes, which could theoretically allow the selective inclusion of genes in the future to give an individual powers. Since he only needed a single DNA sample from Mary, the research was not painful or harmful to her in any way, and as a matter of fact allowed them all to live comfortably. Unfortunately, that all came to an end when more powerful individuals caught wind of his research. The distribution of the meta-gene could prove problematic to their plans, so they sent an assassin to kill him. If it was a regular assassin, there may have been a chance of Mary's father escaping and surviving the incident. Unfortunately, the assassin was the renowned Deadshot (who in this universe is Oliver Queen), who had already been known to have never missed a shot. There was only a flash of light, and her father was gone. A hole punched clean through his forehead. It was at that moment that Mary's meta-gene activated, and she attempted to attack the assassin with her Meta-Threads, but when she latched onto a wall to pull herself toward him, the wall broke, as shrapnel flew back at her and damaged her right eye severely, to the point where it needed to be removed to prevent infection within the skull. After that day, Mary's remaining family, with her included, was placed under League protection, as various heroes, notably the Green Lantern, assisted her in learning to control her power. When the Young Justice Initiative was created, she was an early candidate to join, and was placed in it immediately. Her mother, though severely mentally scarred from the loss of her husband, supports Mary's hero status, secretly hoping that one day revenge can be enacted on Deadshot.
Combat Information:
Meta-Gene Activity: Active
Mary carries no sort of weapons or equipment with her, but through the use of her Meta-Threads she can weaponize most nearby objects.

Meta Threads: The resultant of her active Meta-Gene, Mary is capable of generating up to ten threads, one from the tip of each finger, of pure energy, not unlike what is done by the lantern corps. The tips of these threads can latch onto objects, from debris to people, and through hand and arm movement she can manipulate the object. The more threads that are attached to an object, the more precisely she can manipulate it, and the more force she can use to propel it. The force that can be exerted upon the object is approximately equal to the force that she could exert with a single arm, multiplied by the number of threads attached. Additionally, she can use the threads to latch onto stationary objects, and use them as a means to move herself around, similar to a rope swing.
Mary's fighting style is is largely projectile based, using her meta-threads to hurl objects at enemies, as well as using them to increase her own mobility and avoid being hit, moving in an unorthodox and unpredictable manner.

coming back into RPing after a while having disappeared, been somewhat busy though its cleared up a lot more now

posting up the WIP of character mainly for clearance of the ability, just to make sure I'm not going too over the top or weird with it, will flesh out the gene-based Metavirus inheritance part a bit more in the Bio/Backstory if ability doesn't need to be changed too much

(Dragon personality is run more on instinct, when Personalities are done this will be somewhat more apparent, becomes a weakness of that ability [as instinct based combat can be outsmarted relatively well if reactions are observed] just putting this here to show weakness of the ability changing personalities, so that it's somewhat more balanced i think)
Personal Information:
Name: Draco Brandr
Aliases: Transformed Alias: "Dragon Kin", Alternate Personality: "Drakon"
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Normal: http://imageshack.us/a/img835/434/5tms.png
Draco's normal clothing generally consists of a white shirt with a section that comes up over his mouth, covering it from view, a black Jacket over this, holding black leather gloves on his hands, having a black tie that trails down to almost the top of his pants still in theme of black clothing over white of his undershirt. Similarly in theme are his shoes, black at the heels and front ends with a stripe of white across the mid-section matching colors with his socks. Draco's skin is currently a light reddish tinge fading to a more grayed color along his sides, and lightening in shade towards the center of his face and center of his mid-section, these scales similar to that of his Dragonic form though much less tough and more numerous with less mass per scale. His irises are an orange like hue that seems to glow from within, another trait held from his Dragonic form, a strip of black like a reptile constituting his pupil, with the outside edges of the eyes being red. His hair is a dark shade of gray, only slightly lighter than black, with it trailing fro full width at his neck, to thinning into what would appear to be an overgrown ponytail down his back to just below his waist, this hair constantly spiky whether by design of his dressing or naturally that way, with the only time it is ever seen flat being while it is wet. Draco whilst standing comes in at a height just over 6 foot and 1 inch if you do not count his unorthodox spiked hair adding a couple extra inches to this height, weighing roughly 90 kilograms this weight more than his average due to added weight from his semi-transformed state.

Draconic form: http://imageshack.us/a/img839/6714/ld18.png
Draco has separate from his normal attire an armored suit, which only just fits after the expansion of his scales, worn when he transforms into his Dragonic form, often worn per-emptively if he believes a fight is to soon break out that would require him to change. Whilst transformed the scales that were normally small are much larger individually, closer resembling the scales of a dragon, his pupils also turning red with only a thing dot at the center remaining black. In his transformed state his nails on both his hands and feet lengthen, growing into claws with his hands and feet expanding to more match the appearance of a dragon and to be capable of holding the claws now grown upon them, a rough tail long enough to be held above his head having grown from the bottom of his tailbone, the same shade and covered in smaller scales, compared to those at that area of his back. The armor worn whilst in this from consisting of a black undercoating of material similar to Kevlar in make, on both his top and leggings, then covered with strips of strengthened metal painted white, with a emblem heavily resembling the head of a dragon painted in red on the middle of the chest piece's of metal [like this without the handle in it's mouth]. In this from Draco has grown wings which are often kept inside of his armor, small sections along the back having been extended to hold the adequately without damaging them or the clothing, able to be released with removal of the chest piece which undoes much like a jacket, these wings spanning a few inches longer than his arms length and and being at their ends, 3 times the size of his shoulder blades where they are sprouted from, the hair that would previously have trailed down below this having somehow sunk back inside the scalp, withdrawn as his body changed, this hair re-appearing when he changes back. The transformation into this form along with changes to his appearance also hold physical changes to his height and weight, increasing his height by four inches, and his weight by 30 kilograms, the difference in weight surprisingly much for how little change there is the the amount of room took up by his body.

Draco: Draco would to anyone on the ouside appear to be a kindhearted soul, often trying to help others he thinks are in trouble and seemingly cheerful, with a mostly gullible personality this personality he holds on the outside being one that he held since he was younger. There is a darker personality inside of Draco brought about by his past, the damage his gullibleness had caused him, making him seem more cold and detached whenever he enters that state. During battle he often keeps a facade of his gullibleness whilst fighting, sometimes even falling for tricks himself before realizing it was a trick. During a fight however if someone attempts to shoot him it can cause him flashbacks of his past, of the even that triggered his meta-gene and thus his darker more detached personality, at that point turning from trying to disable his opponent to wanting to break something, at this point most likely to give in to Drakon's personality and lose control. His past having caused this darkness within him and due to what happened to him he always feels the need to save others, so they don't turn out like him, losing himself at ties to the anger his near death brought about and nearly incapable of truly trusting most people without extended time living amongst one another, wanting any he saves to have as normal a life a possible for themselves.

Drakon: Drakon is driven by instinct with a small amount of sentient reasoning, often outwards appearing a feral beast in his attitude, a point that at times can be true. Whilst around others outside of combat if in control Drakon attempts to restrain himself, his instincts constantly urging him to lash out at any he feels are powerful, however if he believes them friendly he will attempt to overcome this instinct, such being a task for him and is shown by how strained it would seem for him to speak. Whilst in battle Drakon gives in completely to instinct, allowing his instincts to guide him as he charges his opponents, from air or ground with his clawed hands, feet and tail all being controlled as instinct dictates to attempt to take out his target opponent, often trying to restrain himself enough to keep them alive once he realizes he has struck them, this restraint caused by his sentience and the kindness he often feels radiating from the hosts personality.

Draco's lifestyle was originally held back from the outside world, raised in his families complex which was barred off from the world outside by the design of such and where the house was situated in a mountainous region. Draco grew through most of his young childhood with quite a high degree of ease. The only difficulties found in his life in the complex owned by his family had been in his learning techniques passed down his family. The only talent passed down to him from his father's side of his family that he picked up on relatively well from these teachings was that of Kenjutsu. Draco learnt a unique variation of nitōryū, a style pertaining to the use of two blades generally with a katana and a shorter wakizashi, one long blade and one short both used in unison, however the style held by his family and passed through their lineage being one in which the user would perform with two equal length Wakizashi's the blades shorter and treated as if enxtensions of one's arm. The other talents attempted to be taught to him, coming off mostly unsuccessful, Kyūjutsu, an ancient martial art to do with the wielding of a bow, was one such thing that seemed to pass off of him and no matter how often he was taught never seeming to take hold, his lack of skill in such fields often bringing scalding at his lack of focus.

As Draco reached the age of 16 he left the complex with three of his cousins, each skilled in a different field, not leaving for war however but to experience the outside world, something they knew very little about anc which was often held from them, their personalities each being as gullible as the next with such lack of knowledge. Within the first month of their experience outside of their complex they were tricked out of their money which was to last them nine months before they were to return, leaving them with no money to survive off of they went out to search for a job to obtain money to live off of as they learned the ways of the world outside. The job they found however being another lie told to them which they despite all reason not to still believed, having unknowingly brought themselves in with a gang that worked in secret, remaining hidden from the Justice League and other groups of justice purely through lack of information, each member only receiving letters with their jobs from another member who never revealed their name, these hand-offs in areas without any sort of surveillance. This way of being run allowing the gang to perform their objectives whilst keeping the members who did the jobs for them outside incapable of revealing any other members that they did not work with directly, The four cousins believing the men at their face value that there was easy work that would allow them to be paid, often only being sent on simple deliveries of packages. They continued these deliveries leaving them at marked locations without seeing the person who was taking them or their contents and being paid using the money to find themselves a temporary home and provide for themselves at least enough to eat.

As the three months of the boys trip into the outside world was brought to an end they returned home, not realizing what they had gotten themselves into and believing after notifying the man who recruited them that they could just leave. The boys life at home after their return was filled with stories of intrigue at the outside world, wondering why people seemed to act so different to their way and seemed to be so unhappy whilst they remained gleeful. After a month of living back in their home without a worry about the outside world, seemingly without any harm coming to anyone, the gang which they had been working for sent after them, during the night the entire complex was found to be alight, flames having been started at various places, one of his cousins and his father escaping outside after waking him and the others, but due to the structures shape once the fire had burned through a supporting column the roof cave in trapping them inside the room with the fire. As the fire was about to consume them Draco's body changed, growing larger and scaled, wings seeming to grow from his back as he attempted to protect his cousins from the fire, not knowing what was happening but believing it may help, having heard stories of other members of his family becoming dragon-like warriors with the power to protect others fro harm. as the rest of the house burnt down he remained below, struggling to remain in control, a instinct inside him telling him to run, to escape, this instinct eventually winning out as those who survived the flames would find a dragon-like creature with bipedal form flying out from the ashes and burnt wood of the house. This instinct taking him far, off into the woods with Draco no longer in control, Drakon having took control as he finally was given form, prowling a jungle that he had found and claimed, taking whatever prey he could to feed himself one day to the next.

Drakon eventually lost his control over the body as it began transforming back, this transformation however not being completed, Draco regaining control after what he assumed was a nightmare and woke to find himself in a body similar to his own but with his hair having formed into clear spikes and his skin having become scaled. Draco eventually found his way out of his jungle as he slowly regained his memory of how he got there, seeing the events that happened as Drakon had took control of him, remembering a vehicle that looked like the one owned by the man that gave him and his cousins their job, a feeling of hate growing within him, and something that he wanted revenge on, however knowing nothing else about the man he knew he wouldn't find him. Draco wandered into a nearby town, his mind slowly suppressing the traumatic experience he had been through, the citizens of the town recognizing him as unusual straight away and attempted to call for help, believing him a monster, the help that arrived at the peoples fleeing and terror at him being in the form of an envoy from the Justice League, their first goal being to find out Draco's intentions after finding him seeming to not be causing any harm. After discussion between him and those heroes that had arrived he found himself a member of the Young Justice Initiative, a group seemingly for young people with powers of this kind or that whose goals were to become heroes, wanting to protect others and keep anyone unable to defend themselves from harm, values he found within himself during the discussion shortly prior to being invited to join, after which he found himself suitable clothing before leaving for the Young Justice Initiative accepting the offered invitation.

Combat Information:
Meta-Gene Activity: Active
- Training Wakizashi x 2: a pair of wooden swords shaped similarly to that of a wakizashi blade, often used in practice of Brandr Nitōryū, the unique two sword style of Kenjutsu that had been passed down through Draco's family, Draco had found these in the jungle after his return to near humanity, the blades having been caught in the claws of his feet and holding a hole in the center of each. After finding them Draco had sharpened them slightly on nearby rocks, neither of them holding a point where they could fatally harm a creature but being sharp enough that they may if angled correctly defend from the blow of a real blade, such as thing however extremely hard to do with swords made of wood and is something that is very unlikely if there is strength behind a blade striking them.

- Bipedal Dragon Statue: A wooden statue Draco carved out whilst he was in the jungle during resting time in his days of wandering, attempting to create something to the likeness of his transformed state from what he saw of it reflected in the water, the statue striking a small likeness to his form however lacking the detail to be able to show that it was to represent him and not an obscure dragonic being. Draco often keeps this statue on his person if capable having added a string to it from which he can hang it from his neck, the statue being the only other possession than his training swords which he cares for the condition of.
- Gene-Based Metavirus (form of ability acquisition)
Draco's Metagene is unique from some others in that it is a trait that is passed down through a family tree, possibly skipping awakening in some generations though always being the same and always inherited by those born of one with the gene. Draco is the only member of his currently living relations that has awoken this gene, though it's nature of inheritance from the family line will cause any of his children and any of his close families later generations to inherit the abilities he has. This is due to the Metagene which holds these abilities having formed similarly to an experiment created Metavirus, an ability capable of being passed from host to host via touch, this ability however instead of passing via touch spreading through genes, having a near 100% inheritance rate though an extremely low rate of being triggered unless directly related through the firstborn line of a previous Metahuman who had awoken the gene, the firstborn children of each having the gene's most powerful form spread to them. If awakened the Dragonic Beings related to the Draconic Morphing ability possessed by this Metagene awaken, becoming in essence a split personality held specifically by the power, this split personality being created by the human mind attempting to hold the senses and capabilities of the two forms and their instincts separately, sealing off the control of the Draconic form within its own separate state of being.

- Draconic Morphing (active, only capable to a very basic extent, unable to fully control)
Draconic Morphing is the ability of transforming ones body into a for similar to that of a Dragonic Being (Similar to a Dragon though appearing more Humanoid), this transformation allowing the user the strength of the Dragonic Being's heightened senses, muscle mass and even its armor-like hide however they also slowly gain the weaknesses of such beings such as their greed-filled distractions when it comes to pure gold if such is seen, this greed however rarely coming to face and the user normally transforming back before being overly affected. Draco can currently transform himself to a human-like Dragonic form, his skin becoming tougher and more scaled than his average, a tail of strong muscles growing at the bottom of his tailbone, with large wing forming from his shoulder blades. His fingernails in this form growing into claws, a pair of black horns (though small) growing from his head as his hair seems to shrink in length only covering his head and no longer its normal long-flowing form. When transformed he gains some increase in muscle mass, this form granting him slightly better senses though nowhere near the full extent of a Dragonic being's. The most radical change being the growth of a sac inside his body holding a flammable liquid and rock like sections within his throat, able to create what would appear to be breath of fire, this ability though drastically weaker than it appears in it's current state, the heat of the flames incapable of severely damaging any it hits only leaving low level burns to skin exposed to it. whilst in this form a separate sentient personality being that of his Dragonic Being rising up and eventually if left in this state for an extended amount of time, able to take control temporarily. Due to the difference in forms of the Dragonic Beings which this form can take Draco may eventually grow in skill enough to take on another Dragonic Being inside what he is capable to morph into holding a different element, an example of such being the element of water with pressurized water capable of being used as a weapon. Draco's current skill with this ability is less than perfect able to transform into a more full form as described above but incapable of becoming completely human again, retaining the scales and having his iris an orange color and seeming to glow as if holding some kind of flame.
Draco: Draco prefers to fight using Brandr Nitōryū, his family's unique two sword style of kenjutsu, the style filled with various techniques though holding a common theme, these technique often beginning with a weeping strike than can then be changed into any other number of strikes, each technique being able to transfer into one of three others due to the similarity of the majority of them, with little to no stabbing motions within any. If disarmed Draco will rely on his very limited skill with hand to hand martial arts to defend himself until a time when he can retrieve them, often attempting to use his powers at this stage though trying to keep from losing control.

Drakon: Drakon's fighting style is commonly full of openings, these openings created by his limited capacity for thought whilst within combat, often focusing on using his physical advantages which would be overwhelming to an average being such as a human. Drakon often attempts to Headbutt his opponent if capable due to his hard bone structure making such a more effective attack once he has someone within his grip, otherwise swings at them with his clawed hand and tail to try to press the offensive and force a surrender, something which if he is lost in the fight he may not notice the appearance of.

Other Information:

- Fire Tasting: Due to his scaled body being incapable of being damaged by heat until extremely high temperatures and the inside of his mouth still retaining its morphed state which allows similar protection Draco has acquired an unusual quirk in which he will attempt to taste flames if from a different source than himself, often finding no resulting taste though continuing to try as if he means to find edible fire..
