This game was pretty much my childhood and I am glad that with the release of Awakening, a lot more people are getting to know this fantastic series. I haven't played Awakening yet but I have heard great things about the game. To Awakening fans, I am sorry to disappoint but this Set will not be featuring characters from Awakening. It will feature the DLC characters like Ike and Elincia however (eventually). Help with OCG would be much appreciated, enjoy!

Magic Damage

If this card attacks an opponent's Attack Position monster and the monster is not destroyed by battle: The opponent's monster loses ATK equal to half of this card's original ATK; if its ATK is decreased to 0 this way, destroy it. This card cannot be destroyed by this battle. You receive no damage from this battle.

Armor Damage

If this card attacks an opponent's Defense Position monster and the monster is not destroyed by battle: The opponent's monster loses DEF equal to half of this card's original ATK; if its DEF is decreased to 0 this way, destroy it. This card cannot be destroyed by this battle. You receive no damage from this battle.

Casualty Damage

If this card would be destroyed by battle: You can decrease this card's DEF by 1000 (exactly) and it is not destroyed.

Laguz Ability

This card receives Casualty Damage. During each of your Standby Phases, if you are able and this card has no Laguz Counters: Place 1 Transform Counter on this card (max. x). This card inflicts Armor Damage while it has a Transform Counter(s). During your Main Phase: You can remove x Transform Counters from this card; place x Laguz Counters on this card (max. x). Trying out a new concept with Secret Book and Energy Drop where these cards give additional effects when used to pay the cost of a card effect. In game, these items are supposed to be stat boosters but I wanted to try a creative approach to their effects instead of just a monster gaining ATK or DEF. Energy Drop is a standard effect but Secret Book gives you a little bit of freedom instead of just drawing the top card of your Deck.

Added Volke and Boots. The reason behind Volke's possibly broken effect is that he is an assassin in the game and paying half your LP reflects a sort of running joke where he charges extra when you ask him to do anything, like inviting him to eat with the group. Boots is supposed to increase the movement of characters in-game so I tried to reflect this by allowing quick access to a monster, especially if you lack monsters on the field or hand.

edit: changed Volke from Lv 6 to 8 instead; changed Soren so that he cannot inflict battle damage when he gains 1000 ATK, the kid is too strong otherwise

Changing up the format by organizing my cards. After putting everything together, I realized that I needed more Trap Cards, so here you go, Soren's Sneeze and Barricade. I couldn't find FE related pics for Barricade so I ended up improvising with Les Mis artwork. Enjoy!

Added Marcia and Silence Staff, will be adding more "Staff" cards soon.

Being a Pegasus Knight, I gave Marcia the ability to attack directly with full ATK but it comes with the cost of chance. Discarding 1 card will hurt, but it does increase the chance that your opponent will choose the right card next time. Her main purpose is really to allow you to search for monsters that can inflict Magic/Armor Damage. Those monsters are usually Level 3.

Silence Staff is a more balanced version of Cold Wave since it requires you to control a Level 7 Spellcaster. While Cold Wave stops players from being to play/Set Spell/Trap Cards, Silence Staff's drawback is it only stops your opponent from being able to Set.

Added Marcia's Brother Makalov and A Strong Bond

Makalov's first effect resembles the fact that he is addicted to gambling. However, luck is rarely in his favor and he often finds himself in debt. His second effect is supposed to portray his unwillingness and inability to pay back debts, hence the opponeny paying the cost of a card effect for you.

A Strong Bond is a support card not only for the Fire Emblem characters, who gain stats when certain characters are around, but also other Yugioh monsters that have monster names written in their text like Dark Sage. Now that I think about it, it tehnically even applies to Fusion Monsters and their Fusion Materials. The text might be confusing to read but this card essentially allow monsters who are "related" to one another to take the hit for the other monster. "Related" as in their names appear in each others' text.

Added Kieran and Speedwing. Kieran's effect is based on his in-game skill Gamble, where he doubles his chances of landing a critical hit in exchange for accuracy. In this case, you potentially have the chance to discard up to 4 cards from your opponent's hand at the risk of you discarding a card and them not discarding any cards at all.

Speedwing is a card I can definitely see being used in a real Duel. Its effect gives a lot of versatility. It can act as a Negate Attack by immediately ending your opponent's Battle Phase or have your opponent skip his normal draw during Draw Phase. The cost though is that you also have to skip that Phase your next turn.

edit: changed Brom's effect from skipping your normal draw, and drawing 2 cards during the End Phase to skipping your normal draw, and drawing 2 cards for your normal draw during your next turn.

Ah little Sothe. Volke overshadows him in stats and being able to promote from a Thief to an Assassin, so I rarely ever use him except in chapters where there's a lot of treasure that needs looting. Nevertheless, his effect mirrors his class as a Thief. When he attacks a monster, he can equip a Spell/Trap Card the opponent controls to him. He can then use that equipped card to either protect himself or cash it in for a draw.

Jewels of Grann Desert is another card where I play around with paying the cost of a card effect. You basically use a Gem Counter to bypass the cost of a card. The downside is you banish cards to get Gem Counters. This card is also banished once you run out of Gem Counters. However, I added an effect that will allow you to get it back through another card, Grann Desert. This card is based on the chapter where your team is deployed in Grann Desert, and those who have played the game will remember the great hidden treasures in that chapter.
